This marked Tomato’s fifth novel. Three of his previous four works had ventured into the realms of cultivation and immortal heroes, with one exploring Western high fantasy. This fifth offering, however, shifted gears entirely, diving deep into Eastern dark fantasy. The Chronicle of the Nine Cauldrons was a project Tomato had nurtured in his mind for a long time, carrying with it his highest expectations. He trusted that this latest endeavor would not disappoint his readers.
