Fang Senyan was once again plunged into profound silence. By now, the two had reached the exit of Diagon Alley—the back door of the Leaky Cauldron in London. Fang Senyan suddenly remembered something:

“Oh, friend, I suppose you’ll have to wait for me right here.”

Outside was the so-called Muggle world. Their Goblin appearance would terrify them—though that wasn't the worst of it—the main issue was potentially attracting those imbeciles from the Ministry. “I’ll bring the takeout in about five minutes.”

The old Goblin scoffed:

“Don’t look at me; I know magic too.” With that, he pulled out a blackened, broken wand and waved it at himself. With a thud, his appearance immediately shifted into that of a sleazy, middle-aged human man, though his lower half was still clad in grimy leather shorts, retaining his green-skinned Goblin form. Seeing this result, the creature puffed out its chest with satisfaction:

“Ha! Another failure, but don’t you think this look is cool?”

After trying five or six more times, the old Goblin finally managed to transform himself into a shifty, sharp-featured, weasel-like old man. He hunched his back, coughed a few times, and declared contentedly:

“Let’s go.”

Fang Senyan sighed:

“Though this is harsh, your slowness has cost us too much time. I really have to leave now.”

Fang Senyan wasn’t lying; he had already received a warning from the Nightmare Mark:

“Time remaining in this world is less than thirty minutes.”

“I must return to the Nightmare Space within the remaining time. Otherwise, I will be forcibly recalled, and the forced recall will randomly confiscate one item from my possession as compensation.”

Fang Senyan was naturally unwilling to lose an item for nothing, so he became frantic to rush to Platform 9¾ at London King's Cross Station! Despite feeling a strange sense of kinship with the old Goblin, he couldn't afford to wait. He immediately hailed a taxi, but unexpectedly, as the cab started moving, the old fellow wriggled in like an eel, curiously asking:

“Where are we going?”

Though greatly surprised by the old thing’s agility, Fang Senyan was pressed for time and could only shrug apologetically:

“I need to return to my homeland, a place ruled by mysterious magic, so I can’t bring extra people along. I guess I’ll have to treat you to steak another time, Mr. David.”

The old Goblin suddenly lowered his head, looking deeply saddened:

“Actually, I have nowhere to return to.”

“!” Fang Senyan was astonished. “No way! Weren’t you neighbors with that fellow, Infinite?”

Two cloudy tears welled up on the Goblin’s face as he lamented:

“When I woke up this morning, I realized I had amnesia. The only things I remember are my first and last names, and that my house seemed to be right next to Infinite’s.”

Fang Senyan was dumbfounded:

“First name… and last name?”

“Yes,” the Goblin’s eyes sparkled. “David Beckham!”

Fang Senyan was petrified…

“Alright, then what’s your real name?”

“Let me think about it.” The old Goblin chewed his finger thoughtfully. “I seem to have forgotten again. Frank? Franklin? Fellini? No, that’s not right. Fu??? Maybe, maybe not. Forget it, just call me Gold Mine.”

“Gold Mine?” Fang Senyan muttered the name a few times, finding it strange, but it sounded better the more he said it. He tested the waters slyly: “Since you have nowhere else to go, why don't you stick with me from now on? Be my butler; I’ll provide food, lodging, and a salary every month.”

This Goblin, named Gold Mine, clearly became conflicted. Its solemn expression, paired with its sharp-featured face, was quite speechless. It cautiously smacked its lips:

“I have a feeling I’m being tricked.”

A wave of futility washed over Fang Senyan. He realized how naive he’d been to try and fleece a Goblin empty-handed. He conceded with resignation:

“Then there’s nothing more to discuss. I have to go.”

He jumped out of the cab, waved goodbye to Gold Mine, and rushed breathlessly toward the train station. He managed to board Train No. 5972 bound for Hogwarts with just five minutes to spare, immediately summoning the Nightmare Mark to return to the Space.

As his form began to faintly fade, Fang Senyan felt a twinge of regret when, suddenly, an empty carton of Tè Lún Sū milk smashed through the train door. Although it only deducted a mere sliver of his Health Points, it instantly threw him into combat status, yanking him out of the recall sequence. Just as Fang Senyan was about to jump up and curse, he saw the old Goblin, Gold Mine, walking over with a pitiful expression, whining:

“Fine! If I truly had nowhere else to go, by the coins above, I swear I wouldn't serve as anyone’s butler!”

Fang Senyan was frantic:

“Then hurry up and get over here! My Charm stat is low... recruiting a servant might take several attempts. We’re short on time!”

A barely concealed, sly grin flickered across Gold Mine’s lips, though its surface expression remained blank:

“Oh.”

Fang Senyan instantly received a notification:

“Plot Character: Gold Mine, a Goblin suffering from amnesia, is willing to become your Servant.”

“While you remain in the Nightmare Space and Nightmare World, your Servant will continuously consume Universal Points as wages. This cost is not counted when you return to the Real World. Higher-level Servants consume more Universal Points.”

“Your Servant is an Auxiliary type and will not directly participate in combat. It possesses 10 points of Absolute Health. Any attack can only forcibly deduct one point of its health. Upon death, you will lose 50 Loyalty. The current level will randomly decrease by 1~2. Resurrection costs Universal Points corresponding to the Servant’s level and is directly related to any equipment it wears.”

“If the Servant’s Loyalty drops to the Defection standard upon death, it cannot be revived.”

“Note: Since your current Charm is below 5 points, when your Servant’s Loyalty drops below 90 points, passive slowdowns will occur. Below 80 points, defection is possible.”

“Note: Opportunities to acquire Servants are extremely rare; please cherish this chance.”

“Do you wish to acquire this Servant? Yes/No?”

Fang Senyan eagerly selected Yes. He had prepared for potentially dozens of failed attempts, but happiness arrived too suddenly. It seemed Fang Senyan hadn't even fully confirmed the acquisition before Gold Mine naturally stood behind him, puffing out its chest in a repulsive manner. Even more astonishingly, its Loyalty started at a perfect 120 points!

Because Fang Senyan had previously taken on a Servant, that unfortunate wretch Charlie, and his relationship with Phil, the summoner from the Symbiotic Society, was also decent, he had some understanding of Loyalty. Generally, treating a Servant reasonably resulted in an average of 8 Loyalty. Reaching 90 Loyalty required constant spending and meticulous care.

100 Loyalty implied investing the equivalent of at least 5,000 Universal Points in every world. Boosting Loyalty between 100 and 110 was exceptionally difficult, suggesting the need for at least ten items/objects equivalent in rarity to Black-grade equipment for this Servant.

Of course, this investment wasn't wasted. At 110 Loyalty, the Servant would gain a passive ability called: Unyielding Loyalty, which resulted in its own attributes being fed back to the Master at a 10:1 ratio.

And as for 120 Loyalty, no one knew what that entailed.

Seeing this, Fang Senyan grew concerned and continued reviewing the creature’s data file.
