The only choice is one or the other! Luo Feng's gaze instantly solidified: "I have no choice!" For everything he held dear, sacrificing his life would be worth it, let alone just his own Miniature Universe. Even if the Miniature Universe were to shatter, it would only mean he could advance no further.

In the Virtual Universe, within the floating divine hall, all the True Gods of the Primitive Universe were assembled.

The vast image of the Cosmic Sea, suspended high above, indicated everything.

The Nine Nether True Master, the Starry Sky Progenitor, the Primeval Island Master, and the other True Gods all stared intently at the dense cluster of lights on the sea chart, each consumed by worry.

"The World Beasts split into two parts?"

The True Gods were anxious.

The white-robed Luo Feng sitting above concealed nothing; in the face of a life-or-death crisis, pretense was pointless. "Esteemed sirs, the World Beasts have now divided into two factions. Forty-five thousand are currently encircling my Miniature Universe, ready to approach and devour it at any moment. The other forty-five thousand are located in the distant region where the First Reincarnation Era's original Miniature Universes resided. They are pairing off, engaging in mutual slaughter and consumption. The victors continue to pair off and fight. If this continues, an incomparably terrifying World Beast will evolve from those forty-five thousand. Once it reaches the sixth tier, even I will have no hope."

A sixth-tier World Beast could manifest countless avatars.

No matter how strong he was, killing one would only suffice. Under the constraint of invisible rules, Morocha would also be forced out to fight and be killed by that sixth-tier beast. Once that beast became a King, it would immediately breed a massive army of warriors, creatures even more terrifying than sixth-tier World Beasts—a surging army capable of sweeping away everything.

"Pairing off for mutual combat?"

"If this goes on, a super World Beast will evolve quickly."

"Only the Galaxy Lord has a chance to interrupt this, but if the Galaxy Lord goes there, the forty-five thousand World Beasts surrounding his Miniature Universe will immediately devour it." The True Gods below communicated via sound transmission, discussing anxiously.

For a time, no one had a solution. This was a dilemma. The World Beasts were inherently arrogant, each aspiring to become King. This current pairing system was not entirely fair. For instance, a second-tier World Beast would typically fight another second-tier beast, growing stronger incrementally.

But now, being forced to fight a third-tier beast, even if it meant certain death, they had to comply.

Meanwhile, the forty-five thousand World Beasts tasked with besieging Luo Feng had a lower probability of producing a sixth-tier entity.

Therefore, this distribution was inequitable.

If there were not enough threats, the World Beasts would never use this method to determine the ultimate King! However, Luo Feng was too formidable, compelling them all to obey and choose this brutal method of selection.

Though cruel, it was effective. It immediately plunged Luo Feng and the races of the Cosmic Sea into a desperate situation.

Luo Feng looked down at the True Gods below, all embroiled in discussion.

"Luo Feng." The City Lord of Chaos, seated beside him, transmitted his voice. "You don't need to ask their thoughts; they all hope you will go and fight. While this will lead to the destruction of your Miniature Universe, the other races fundamentally do not care about that. They just dare not say it, fearing they might anger you." Luo Feng nodded; he understood this.

"I have no choice," Luo Feng transmitted to his teacher.

The City Lord of Chaos sighed softly. Indeed, he had no choice.

"Esteemed sirs," Luo Feng looked down at them and spoke.

The numerous True Gods below all looked up, listening carefully.

"Overcoming the World Beast Calamity is the most crucial matter. I will immediately head to the First Reincarnation Era region to exert every effort against the World Beast threat." Luo Feng announced.

"Teacher!"

"Galaxy Lord!"

"Luo Feng!"

Immediately, Human Race True Gods cried out. Fire Dome True God, Hong, and others were particularly anxious. If he chose to leave, his Miniature Universe, given its immense size, would be extremely difficult for other True Gods to protect even if they rushed to help. It was almost certain to be devoured by the World Beasts, cutting off Luo Feng’s future path and preventing any further advancement.

"There’s no need to persuade me," Luo Feng stated. "My Miniature Universe is large enough; perhaps it can hold out longer." "But that's forty-five thousand World Beasts!" Fire Dome True God exclaimed anxiously.

Luo Feng shook his head: "I have no choice!" The Human Race True Gods who had intended to argue fell silent. Even the True Gods of the Demon Race, Insect Race, and others, who inevitably harbored a sliver of schadenfreude, felt their hearts sink. Yes, there was no choice. Even the Galaxy Lord had no choice. Their races were in an even more tragic position, left only to hope for the Galaxy Lord's success, otherwise, annihilation was inevitable.

"I do not have full confidence in this endeavor," Luo Feng shook his head. "Many of the World Beasts in the First Reincarnation Era region have already perished in their mutual slaughter; they are spread out individually. Only when they pair off does the nearest pair begin to fight, meaning that even if I wish to kill them on a large scale, I cannot manage it..."

The hearts of the True Gods below sank further.

"I will focus all my efforts on dealing with the World Beasts. As for protecting your respective Miniature Universes," Luo Feng continued, "that will be up to you. I cannot divide my focus."

Silence descended.

The True Gods exchanged glances. Though reluctant to accept it, they understood that if even Luo Feng could not guarantee the safety of his own Miniature Universe, preserving theirs would be exponentially harder.

"Galaxy Lord, please go. You disregard the safety of your own Miniature Universe; what is the loss of ours in comparison?"

"Right. Our chance of transcending reincarnation was already infinitesimally small; whether we have a Miniature Universe makes no real difference."

"Galaxy Lord, don't worry about us."

"In this World Beast Calamity, we cannot offer assistance, so naturally, we cannot become a distraction for you, Galaxy Lord."

The True Gods of all races understood the gravity of the situation now. Exterminating the World Beasts was the paramount concern; everything else? Everything could be sacrificed! Even if they were unwilling to sacrifice, how could their Miniature Universes withstand the siege of the World Beast army if it truly materialized? They had to accept this reality, all while praying for Luo Feng's success.

This was a genuine catastrophe!

Survival beneath the scourge was victory itself.

While the True Gods of various races debated amongst themselves, Zuo Shan Ke, seated in the farthest corner, watched everything silently, a faint smile playing on his lips: "Truly my disciple. They cannot even perceive his internal struggle and hesitation! Clarity of heart, piercing straight to one's true nature. Even having become the strongest being in the Cosmic Sea, his heart remains so pure, untainted by dust."

Zuo Shan Ke knew well. When one struggled up from a position of weakness, perhaps maintaining clarity of heart and cutting away all desires was achievable. But upon reaching the apex of power, when one could naturally demand more and possess more, the heart tended toward greater avarice, desiring more. Maintaining that pristine heart at such a juncture was difficult.

"Luo Feng," Zuo Shan Ke transmitted mentally.

Luo Feng, seated on the high throne, looked toward Zuo Shan Ke.

"Teacher," Luo Feng replied via sound transmission.

"Go now and deal with the World Beast threat. As for your Miniature Universe, you need not worry," Zuo Shan Ke continued. "I will immediately travel to your Miniature Universe and reside there temporarily. I possess a treasure; using all my strength, I should be able to prevent your Miniature Universe from being devoured."

"What?" The Luo Feng seated above was astonished. The City Lord of Chaos beside him sensed a shift in Luo Feng’s demeanor and glanced over.

"Teacher!" Luo Feng was utterly shocked. "You mean you can protect my Miniature Universe?"

"Yes," Zuo Shan Ke transmitted. "That is correct."

"Then what about your own Miniature Universe, Teacher?" Luo Feng pressed immediately.

"I can only protect one," Zuo Shan Ke replied directly, implying that if he entered Luo Feng’s Miniature Universe to assist with full power, he would be unable to dedicate the necessary attention to his own.

Luo Feng grew anxious: "Teacher, if your own Miniature Universe is devoured, then my Miniature Universe..."

"There is no need to say more," Zuo Shan Ke interrupted. "It serves little purpose for me to achieve Transcendence if you are lost! I have poured endless effort into cultivating you; you are far more powerful and possess greater potential than I ever imagined. How can such a future be so easily severed? Would that not render my expectations spanning countless eons in vain?"

Luo Feng froze.

It was true. He might be willing to see his own future cut short, but had he considered Zuo Shan Ke? If he could no longer advance after being nurtured by Teacher Zuo Shan Ke, it would indeed make his teacher's hopes empty.

"Do not overthink this," Zuo Shan Ke instructed. "It is no great matter if I fail to become Void-level; your transcendence of reincarnation is paramount. In time, you will know all the secrets, and then you will understand the reasons for my actions. Go now, focus entirely on the World Beasts. Your Miniature Universe, your Teacher... I will protect it even unto death."

Luo Feng sat upon the high throne, glancing at Zuo Shan Ke in the corner, then closed his eyes.

His heart trembled.

Perhaps Zuo Shan Ke intended to use him, or perhaps he harbored some other scheme.

But over the course of billions of epochs, on the path of his growth, Zuo Shan Ke had never once asked for help; rather, Zuo Shan Ke had consistently aided him! Even now, Zuo Shan Ke continued to help him... The magnitude of this kindness was such that his assistance had arguably surpassed even that of Zhen Yan and Chaos in helping him.

It was only because he always suspected Zuo Shan Ke of having an agenda that a barrier remained in his heart.

But regardless, Zuo Shan Ke had always been helping him, willing to sacrifice his own Miniature Universe to aid him!

"Teacher," Luo Feng whispered internally, "Once the World Beast Calamity passes, and everything I safeguard is safe, I, Luo Feng, will repay your immense kindness even if it costs me my life!"

Swish!

At the edge of the immeasurably vast membrane wall of the Primitive Universe, a figure shot out. He was clad in silver armor, with five pairs of wings stretching behind him.

"World Beasts?" A ferocious glint flashed in Luo Feng's eyes before he vanished directly into the endless torrent of chaotic energy.

As Luo Feng departed the Primitive Universe, outside the "Cosmic Channel Gate" leading to Luo Feng’s Miniature Universe, Zuo Shan Ke, who had been sitting cross-legged on a peak, drifted gracefully forward. His eyes held a placid calm, devoid of joy or sorrow. The guards, having received prior orders, dared not obstruct him, allowing Zuo Shan Ke to fly directly into the cosmic channel.
