Zheng Zha said earnestly, "Ultimately, the simple truth is that our strength is still too weak; this is an undeniable fact... It's not just about the power gained from reinforcement, but also the power we must create or comprehend ourselves. Perhaps it's too early to say this now... but in the future, when our power allows us to roam the horror movie worlds with ease, I will begin reaching out to some of the newly arrived people I once encountered and give them a chance to start over... Heh, I hope we live to see that day."

Chu Xuan's voice drifted down from above. "Good. With that settled, the next topic is the classification of sub-plot difficulty. Judging by the number of sub-plots available, the simplest tier is Class D, followed by Double-D, then C, Double-C, and so on. The sub-plot we just experienced was a Double-C grade. Zheng Zha, you underwent a Class B sub-plot in the Stargate world, correct? You only received double rewards because you completed the plot ahead of schedule. Analyzing this difficulty scaling: Class D sub-plots are easy; Double-D is slightly harder than easy; Class C is difficult; Double-C is very difficult, but manageable without real danger if the method is grasped and analyzed—like how we used the smoke to infiltrate the research facility..." "Then Class B means life is threatened. Taking the Stargate sub-plot where you killed the Scorpion King early as an example, the casualty rate for Class B missions hovers around eighty percent... Double-B is extremely lethal, with a casualty rate of at least ninety percent. As for Class A and above, I can't yet imagine the difficulty; such a level might cause effects beyond just impacting the mission members.

For instance, total annihilation... In summary, based on the sub-plot we just completed, the highest difficulty we can safely manage is Double-C. Missions at Class B and above are too challenging for us; we should avoid them."

Zheng Zha considered this and asked, "Are you saying that when we go to the island from the first movie to search for sub-plots, we might encounter missions that are too dangerous?" Chu Xuan’s voice replied, "That's the general idea. This document reveals that this mad scientist discovered a method of gene control. He originally intended to use it to enhance humanity and drive evolution... which is strikingly similar to what the 'Main God' is currently doing. However, this scientist tried to control evolution through external modification, seeing himself as a god.

And this gene control method actually achieved success—at least in certain areas. First, a substance he researched could stimulate living organisms to undergo neoteny, reverting them to ancient forms latent in their gene chains, such as the ancient form of bees: those huge, communal carnivorous insects."

"Second, during this state of change, the genes of some creatures fused and mutated, their gene chains automatically reorganizing to produce a bizarre lifeform. According to the scientist's notes, he released the juvenile form of that creature onto the first dinosaur island, because only the name 'Dragon' seemed to fit the form, or appearance, of this mutated lifeform... I'm quite worried."

"Dragon? Dinosaur? Are you saying he created Godzilla?" Bawang was stunned first, then burst into loud laughter.

The others smiled faintly. They weren't particularly worried about dinosaurs. Even if it truly was Godzilla, as long as they had the Green Goblin Gliders to maintain altitude and distance, their firearms would be more than enough to kill it. Even if that Godzilla was as massive and terrifying as in the movie, dealing with a single, powerful, non-flying entity in such a vast environment gave them an absolute tactical advantage.

The sky was still somewhat dark, with only a faint trace of golden dawn visible where the sea met the horizon.

And finally, the group spotted the aircraft carrier fleet upon the ocean surface. All the warships in this formation were fully lit up. It appeared that the events on Isla Sorna had forced this carrier group to rush to the rescue. Of course, they could only pray they didn't encounter a massive swarm of giant insects, or they might become the next fleet to be completely destroyed... all personnel dead, yet the battleships left perfectly intact... Upon spotting the fleet, Chu Xuan had already piloted his Green Goblin Glider close to the sea surface. The group was still a considerable distance from the fleet; unless they were actively looking for them, the fleet wouldn't notice any disturbance on the ocean surface, only monitoring underwater activity or radar signals. Thus, they quickly flew past the fleet, and as they looked further out, the silhouette of an island gradually materialized on the distant horizon.

"This is it—the location of the first Jurassic Park movie plot... where our second sub-plot might occur."

The four landed on the island's beach. Firstly, they needed to stretch their legs after dangling in the air for so long. Secondly, the Glider’s continuous high-intensity flight had pushed the self-made, non-standard device beyond its operational limits; it needed a chance for its energy system to cool down.

The four dismounted. The sky was now fully bright, and half a golden sunrise was slowly climbing above the distant line where the sea met the sky. On this nearly pristine beach, if not for the threat of dinosaurs or other creatures, it would truly be a vacation paradise.

The four stretched their limbs. Zheng Zha pulled compressed rations and solid water from his storage ring. After a night of intense fighting, everyone urgently needed to replenish their energy stores, especially since they might face even fiercer battles next, which required being well-fed and rested.

After a brief rest, Zheng Zha asked Chu Xuan, "Can you analyze what the sub-plot here might be?" Chu Xuan shook his head. "Impossible. We have too little information right now. While it's almost certain to involve that creature, this island is actually slightly larger than Isla Sorna, making it extremely difficult to search for a single entity. Furthermore, we can't confirm whether this island has also been contaminated by the scientist's genetic material. If it has, we might face another attack by countless insects. So, don't expect an analysis from me regarding this sub-plot; I cannot conjure knowledge out of thin air unless you provide me with sufficiently detailed intelligence."

Zheng Zha glanced at Bawang and Wang Xia. In the last sub-plot, both had been immensely helpful in completing the mission; without them, the group would never have succeeded so easily. This current unknown mission made him hesitate. After all, Bawang, Wang Xia, and Chu Xuan were crucial combat assets or analysts for the team, and aside from their weapons, they were not much stronger than ordinary humans. In other words, a surprise attack by a dinosaur at close range could easily lead to their deaths... After some thought, Zheng Zha asked, "How much longer does the Green Goblin Glider need to cool down? Is one hour enough?" Chu Xuan nodded. "The glider is technically usable now, but until I can fabricate a replacement, its value is irreplaceable. Therefore, I would prefer a cooling time between forty minutes and an hour and a half."

"That’s enough time. During this period, I will scout ahead into the island. Bawang, guard this spot closely; shoot immediately upon seeing any other life forms. Wang Xia, set up landmines in a perimeter around us, set to trigger above three hundred kilograms. Small raptors won't be enough to set them off..." After saying this, Zheng Zha took out the Spear of Judgment. The Zaku Electric Axe had been abandoned in the research facility; it had gotten snagged on the Queen Bee's stinger, and the situation had been too desperate to waste time untangling it, so he chose survival over the axe. Now, lacking a necessary melee weapon, he reluctantly decided to use the Spear of Judgment as a substitute—it would have to suffice.

With that, Zheng Zha dashed toward the nearby jungle. Behind him, Bawang assumed a defensive posture, and Wang Xia began laying the minefield around a two-hundred-meter radius.

Zheng Zha ran from the beach into the jungle. The vegetation here clearly looked artificially planted, with noticeably uniform spacing between the trees. However, because the area had been abandoned for so long, the ground was now covered in dead branches and leaves. This didn't impede Zheng Zha's full-speed run, and he sprinted deep into the forest, holding the Spear of Judgment aloft.

The atmosphere throughout was strangely muted. Zheng Zha hadn't seen a single dinosaur, not even the remains of one. Forget dinosaurs; he hadn't seen any of the massive insects he’d imagined either. The insects here were clearly still in their small, ordinary states. It was obvious this island had not been polluted by any genetic material; the environment remained entirely normal.

Realizing this, Zheng Zha breathed a huge sigh of relief. The pressure from those insects had been immense. Yet, with that particular threat resolved, his confusion deepened. Why was this place so unnervingly quiet? So quiet, it felt as if there were no large creatures at all... Quiet, as if standing on the edge of a predator's den, one that had already devoured every other living thing... He leaped into the dense growth.
