Though it was a complete repair, Zheng Zha specifically requested that the "Main God" leave the scar running from his right eyebrow to the corner of his left mouth. This scar was less conspicuous than the one his clone bore, merely a faint, pale red line—a mark Zheng Zha kept to remember everything, to resurrect them, to seek revenge, to avoid experiencing this sorrow again. Only after defeating the Demon Reincarnation Squad would this scar finally fade away. "To resurrect everyone, we must retrieve the Resurrection Sutra, but it is located deep within the tomb in the world of The Mummy, and it was dropped there. To retrieve it, we would need to hire a massive number of locals to continuously excavate the area. In The Mummy Returns, one organization managed to open that tomb, but it required an enormous amount of time."

"Returning to a previous horror movie world only costs ten reward points for one day, but if we go back to a world we’ve already experienced, it costs fifty reward points per day, and it also requires a D-rank side mission to unlock that world. We don't need to worry about the number of side missions, but I don't have enough reward points," Zheng Zha sighed. He calculated the time needed in the Mummy world: if nothing unexpected happened, it would likely take two to three months to fully excavate the tomb. In other words, he would need to amass five thousand reward points just to get the Resurrection Sutra, not even counting the points needed to resurrect the team members themselves.

The "Main God" space was unnaturally quiet. The usual scene of companions setting up to drink and chat in the plaza was utterly gone, yet those images still flickered before his eyes, as if they had happened only yesterday. Every time he recalled Xiao Tong's bright smile, Zheng Zha felt his spirit tearing apart with pain.

Zheng Zha told Lori about the events of the last horror movie for the first time, because now she was the only one left to speak with, and also to steady her nerves. Earlier, when Lori was in the "Main God" space, she had personally witnessed Xiao Honglu and Cheng Xiao's created girls vanish suddenly, a terror that was difficult to articulate. Thus, when only the two of them remained, Zheng Zha recounted everything from the previous installment, though he deliberately omitted details about his clone—that remained a secret binding him to his counterpart.

To his surprise, Lori was capable of calmly analyzing things for him. At this moment, Lori tilted her head curiously and asked, "You mentioned there’s a cheaper way to resurrect team members? Using the altar in The Mummy world? How do we resurrect someone there?" Zheng Zha smiled faintly. "You’ve seen the movie, right? It requires a spell from the Book of the Dead, a physical body and five organs, and a living sacrifice to resurrect someone. If the person’s body is still intact, or hasn't been dead long, then even the living sacrifice isn't needed. But we tried; we couldn't find such a spell in the Book of the Dead, so for us, it’s merely a weapon. Similarly, the Resurrection Sutra might be the key to bringing back life. Resurrection at the altar requires a physical body and five organs, seven thousand reward points, and a B-rank side mission."

"In other words, if we want to resurrect Zhang Heng, we build a body for him—a body without thought, just a pure shell. That costs five hundred reward points. Then we take it to the altar in The Mummy world and use the Resurrection Sutra to exchange with the 'Main God' for his revival. That's the only method I could conceive. What my clone said back then likely meant the same thing: everyone gets one chance at resurrection." Lori pondered for a moment and said, "You have enough side missions now, but not enough reward points. Excavating the tomb to retrieve the Resurrection Sutra needs four to five thousand points, and you still need to prepare for the next horror movie and resurrect everyone. Do we really need to enter the Mummy world right now?" Zheng Zha nodded decisively. "Yes, we must go. I still have something I need to verify. If the clone became that strong after just one or two movies, then this idea I have might be true. I have to test its validity!" Lori suddenly stood up and walked in front of Zheng Zha, looking at him intently. "Can you take me with you to the Mummy world? If you have to take risks or do anything else, I promise I will stay put in a safe place and wait for your return. Can you? I’m scared alone here in the 'Main God' space. Before, I still had my sister and the others." Zheng Zha sighed, gazing at the beautiful, innocent face before him—the woman he loved most deeply in his memories. As long as she was by his side, his heart would never descend into ruin. He could imagine why his clone had become who he was: the light that prevented his fall was gone, so he could only sink into darkness. "Go. We enter The Mummy world tomorrow!"

It was the second day since Zheng Zha returned to the "Main God" space after completing Resident Evil 2. On the first day, he relentlessly searched everything that could be redeemed from the "Main God" and continuously organized and redeemed necessary weapons. Compared to the side mission count, his reward points were significantly lacking, so the items he chose leaned towards those offering high side mission value but low reward point cost.

That evening, unusually, he didn't sleep holding Lori. He sat alone in the plaza, constantly calculating something, until Lori emerged from her room and came to his side. Only then did he snap back to awareness and offered her an apologetic smile.

"Do you need to be this busy? I never saw you this preoccupied before," Lori sat down beside him, clutching a large pillow, seemingly unable to sleep herself.

Zheng Zha nodded. "Yes, I have to be. Ever since fighting the Demon Reincarnation Squad, I realized how insufficient we are—no, to be precise, we lack Chu Xuan's rational system's intelligence. While Xiao Honglu's intellect is excellent, he excels more at analysis, not necessarily in strategic planning or survival essentials. A horror movie requires many things, chief among them reliable transportation."

"Horror scenarios generally fall into two types: those in confined spaces, and those in vast open areas. I won't discuss the confined ones, but open-space horrors absolutely require complete transportation methods. I checked the 'Main God' redemption list. This Green Goblin Glider requires one B-rank mission and 4500 reward points. It can carry up to one ton, comes equipped with twelve micro surface-to-air missiles and five thousand rounds for its micro machine gun, plus illumination and flamethrower systems. It's an excellent vehicle with great stats, capable of nearly one thousand kilometers per hour. This is the Green Goblin Glider redeemed from the 'Main God'."

Zheng Zha retrieved the glider from his spatial ring. "This version’s stats are much worse. It only carries eight surface-to-air missiles, and the micro machine gun has been removed. The illumination system remains, but the flamethrower is gone. Cruising speed is about seven hundred kilometers per hour. This must have been equipment specially fabricated by Chu Xuan's clone for the Demon Reincarnation Squad. It's still a powerful transport, and once we resurrect everyone, we must equip each of them with one of these gliders. During the Resident Evil 2 mission, the Demon Reincarnation Squad was actually quite close to our location. If we had these things then, perhaps everyone could have..." At this point, Zheng Zha let out a deep sigh.

Lori gently squeezed his hand to comfort him, but before she could utter a soothing word, Zheng Zha smiled and continued, "Secondly, I learned a lot about reincarnation squads from the Demon Reincarnation Squad. First, the matter of resurrection. Second, the hypothesis I must test by entering The Mummy world. Third, the idea of proactively completing mission objectives within a horror world, rather than simply acting out of the compulsion to survive under threat from the 'Main God.' I owe this last point to the clone's sharing. In the next horror movie world, I will strive to act on this understanding."

Lori suddenly let out a soft laugh. "You've changed so much. You used to be carefree; how could you have ever thought through things like this? You look much handsomer now than before."

Zheng Zha gave a wry smile. "This isn't my change. To meticulously detail and prepare all these matters, I forced myself to unlock the third stage of the Genetic Lock and simulated Chu Xuan. This analysis and refinement were done using his intellect. If we are to resurrect anyone, the very first must be him. With his wisdom and analytical support, along with the advanced weaponry or props he could fabricate, only then will we possess the power necessary to seek out side missions in the horror worlds." As he spoke, Zheng Zha glanced down at a notebook computer in his hand, murmuring, "Besides transportation—an auxiliary tool we never considered before—the next focus is weaponry."

"We should be redeeming heavy weaponry," he continued, "at least a small selection of heavy weapons."
