Dead, all dead... The Demon-Slaying Warrior Gran is dead, the powerful Mage Glinpan is dead... even the Bloodline Warrior Cage is dead...

Kailer slumped on the ground like a pile of mud, his eyes completely vacant and ashen. The elite main force sent by the Kail family had been wiped out in less than two days... entirely gone...

"The duel between the Luo family and the Kail family, the second match concludes with the Luo family's Guardian Qian Jin victorious," Sabonis's clear voice echoed above the courtyard. "Next up is the final match of the day for both sides. Please have both the Mages and Warriors from both families step onto the field."

The warriors behind Kaishan exchanged hesitant glances, collectively retreating backward. Some even directed their gaze toward the sole Mage, only to see him also backing away.

Are you kidding me? Qian Jin had just killed a Bloodline Warrior, and he did it mercilessly despite knowing the opponent was a disciple of Jinzetianlu. Stepping onto the field now would be suicide! Mage Mis looked at Qian Jin and felt a strange sensation; this young man wielding the Zhanmadao resembled a savage beast guarding its young in the wilderness, ready to fight to the death even against the most formidable Demon-Hunting Adventurers.

Biluo remained unconscious. Only Qian Jin stood alone in the fighting ring in the courtyard, the Zhanmadao in his hand catching the sunlight with a chilling gleam.

Sabonis turned his attention back to the Kail family side. Those warriors had already withdrawn to the entrance. On the Human-Demon battlefield, they fought knowing death awaited them—dying there was glory! Here, fighting to the death offered no chance for honor.

"Are there no participants?" Sabonis asked, voicing a question he already knew the answer to, then raised his hand again to pronounce judgment: "Then, this duel between the Luo and Kail families concludes with the Luo family winning all three matches."

"Mr. Kailer, do you still remember our wager?" Qian Jin calmly looked down into Kailer's eyes. "I trust the Kail family isn't planning to default on the debt, are they? We have the City Lord himself as witness."

When his gaze met Qian Jin's, Kailer instinctively lowered his head. Without the protection of the Bloodline Warrior Cage and the Mage Glinpan, he was as insignificant as an ant before Qian Jin. In his dazed and fearful expression, there was no trace of the arrogant swagger he displayed yesterday when ordering his men to kick open the gate, nor did he resemble the chief executive of the Kail family in Oakland City.

"I don't have that much money..." Kailer kept his head down, feeling a severe tightness in his chest. He took a deep, laborious breath, finding it incredibly difficult to speak for the first time. "Money? Do you think I'm asking you for an obscure prophecy?"

Qian Jin’s expression remained as calm as still water, as if he were casually chatting with an acquaintance on the roadside. But in the next instant, he lifted his leg and kicked Kailer’s head, shattering it instantly.

Qian Jin was there to collect a debt. Since Kailer could not pay, he would go to the Kail family for the money. With the City Lord of Oakland acting as a witness, he doubted the Kail family would truly be shameless enough to deny the obligation. As for Kailer? His pathetic state offered no satisfaction; even if he knelt down and begged tearfully for mercy, it would only be an eyesore and yield no spiritual fulfillment.

For Qian Jin, this was simply a matter of a duel and debt collection. The duel was finished; thus, Kailer’s life was one item on the collection bill that needed to be collected! Since the death of Luolin was connected to the Kail family, Kailer must have played a key role in it. With Cage dead, Kaishan would naturally not be spared either.

If he hadn't intended to settle the financial debts all at once, Qian Jin wouldn't have had the slightest interest in exchanging another word with Kailer.

There was no agonizing howl or scream, nor were there any deathbed threats like, "I'll haunt you as a spirit," or "I am the descendant of so-and-so." There was only the sound of a skull shattering into pieces, the heavy thud of a body hitting the ground, and the sight of Kailer’s corpse sliding along the floor.

The moment Kailer died, Sabonis’s eye twitched subtly a few times. The Kail family warriors and mages felt an icy chill race up their spines almost simultaneously.

This Qian Jin... Sabonis felt a thousand complex emotions surge within him. This Qian Jin's methods were too swift and absolute! At such a young age, he had mastered the Five Battles of Demon Slaying, and in a direct confrontation, he suppressed the Thunder Leopard Bloodline Battle Form of Cage and obliterated him with a single clean blow, leaving the opponent no opportunity to train again and seek revenge later.

In the future, it would be best to maintain a cordial relationship with him and the Luo family. It was best never to confront him, because even eliminating him would likely cost them a substantial portion of their own strength. "Congratulations, congratulations." Sabonis stepped out of the mourning hall, offering Qian Jin a smile. "Mr. Qian Jin, whenever you decide to visit the Kail family to settle accounts, I will certainly be present as your witness."

Qian Jin nodded. This debt must be recovered. With matters having progressed to this stage, hoping for peace or writing off the debt now would mean his brain was severely damaged. A blood feud, once established, is difficult to truly resolve; it often ends only when one party is completely annihilated.

This was true between individuals, and equally true between factions. Otherwise, why would the wars between the Demon Race and humanity never cease? Sabonis departed, and the Kail family members quickly carried away those who had died in the clashes.

Fabridis watched the spirited Qian Jin and sighed softly. Hadn't he been just like this in his youth? After suffering too many setbacks, he gradually stopped being so impulsive. In the future, he should try to help carry some of the pressure for Qian Jin, and once he matured further, perhaps his actions would change.

"Qian Jin, by killing Cage this time, you've severed the Kail family's hope for future growth and prosperity. Most of their combat strength was wiped out in this single battle. You might now face retaliation from them hiring assassins. Now that Cage is gone, they will fight you to the death." Fabridis spoke with evident worry. "If Jinzetianlu finds out about this, it probably won't be settled simply with you. And there's the Magic Guild behind Glinpan..."

Qian Jin glanced briefly at the coffins placed nearby and replied faintly, "What else could I have done? Let Cage live? Allow him to go back, train harder, and return for another duel? If I hadn't killed Cage, would they have spared the Luo family? If I hadn't killed Kailer, could Luolin jump out of the embrace of the stars and resurrect?"

The gentle light in Fabridis's eyes gradually ignited. Was Qian Jin not merely naive and impulsive? Or was he himself too focused on being mature, forgetting the innate spirit of a warrior?

"Let's find a doctor first," Gu Yuejiaying interrupted the discussion about who was right or wrong regarding the previous events, holding the unconscious Biluo. "I'll go," Luo Qingqing quickly darted out of the courtyard and soon returned with a middle-aged female doctor.

Qian Jin realized Luo Qingqing was quite thoughtful; the fire attack would likely require her clothes to be removed for proper examination and treatment. If he had brought back a male doctor, before the clothes were even loosened, Huangquan might suddenly wake up and reward the physician with a string of fireballs, incinerating him to ash before stopping.

"The injury isn't severe," the female doctor handed a prescription to Luo Qingqing, who was waiting outside. "Mix these herbs together and boil them."

"Let me take a look too." Fabridis took the prescription from Luo Qingqing's hand, borrowed the pen from the female doctor, and lightly sketched some writing on it. "I'm no expert in treating illnesses, but based on the severity, I probably know better than many doctors what the optimal prescription should be."

Gu Yuejiaying nodded gently. Warriors who have experienced many battles usually possess self-preservation skills, especially in medicine, where they often possess insights that even doctors lack.

"There you go..." Fabridis handed the revised prescription to Luo Qingqing, but found Qian Jin's hand reaching out. He pulled the slip over, examined it, and stated, "So it's fire entering the heart and lungs, the concentration isn't too high. I understand."

Qian Jin tucked Fabridis's revised prescription into his clothes, saying, "This medicine works too slowly, and the absorption isn't ideal. I'll handle it myself."

Saying that, Qian Jin ignored the reactions of the others, took Luo Qingqing’s hand, and walked toward the rear hall, asking, "Do we have an apothecary room at home?" "Yes, it's this way..."

The sound of their conversation faded into the distance. Fabridis, Gu Yuejiaying, and the female doctor were frozen in place. What was going on? How could such a young man like Qian Jin know how to brew medicine? Was he planning to treat Biluo haphazardly using only the theoretical knowledge of alchemical potions learned in class?

The Luo family’s apothecary room was quite substantial. Three of the four large rooms were dedicated to storing medicinal materials, and one was a fully equipped preparation room for boiling remedies.

Qian Jin entered the apothecary and immediately became busy, constantly grabbing herbs from various drawers, sometimes retrieving medicinal forests he had found in the Four Seasons Valley from his Soul Realm. Having spent two years studying alchemy under Adams in the Endless World, and aided by memory potions, he already possessed the title of Advanced Alchemist in his status attributes, just a hair's breadth away from the rank of Alchemical Master that Adams had spoken of.

In terms of formulation alone, Qian Jin was confident he could create a better mixture than anyone in the mourning hall.

Luo Qingqing watched Qian Jin busy himself with curiosity. He would crush herbs into fine powder, then grind animal hides into dust, occasionally mixing proportions. It was completely different from the medicine she had received from doctors or apothecaries before.

"Everyone else just mixes the ingredients together and boils them," Luo Qingqing looked on, more bewildered. "Why does Brother Qian Jin have to grind everything into powder? And why use over thirty kinds of herbs when the female doctor only prescribed seven?"

"Done!" Qian Jin picked up a bowl containing a pale yellow liquid and handed it to Luo Qingqing. "Give this to her to drink first. I'll prepare another one to nourish her body afterward."

The three people in the mourning hall looked skeptically at the bowl of pale yellow liquid in Luo Qingqing's hand. Would this really work if she drank it?
