"Zheng Zha roared in anger, 'Zhang Jie, I demand a reasonable explanation! Why did you bring your sister-in-law here? You know how dangerous this place is. This horror movie is part of the Final Destination series—a place where danger and death cannot be evaded by science, and where there are no enemies to defeat! How could you do this? Are you trying to kill the woman you cherish most?' As Zheng Zha spoke, his voice grew louder, until he was practically screaming by the end."

"Zhang Jie exchanged a knowing smile with the classical beauty. He then turned to Zheng Zha and said, 'Alright, I will tell you everything I know, to the best of my ability, but there is a prerequisite—one I cannot reveal just yet. Do you want to know the reasons and the full truth behind all this?' As Zhang Jie spoke, he had already turned and walked towards the vehicle door. To Zheng Zha's utter astonishment, Zhan Lan, Zhao Yingkong, Xiao Honglü, and Zhang Heng followed close behind Zhang Jie. As the six of them reached the door, it opened automatically. Zhang Jie stepped out first, and the other four followed him in a daze."

"If you want to know the whole story, you must defeat the five of us. I have them all under my control. It's the same old rules as when we sparred: defeat them without taking their lives—knocking them unconscious will suffice. Alternatively, outmaneuver their pursuit and reach me. Defeating me counts the same.' 'The rules of this game are simple: for every one of them you defeat, I will reveal a portion of the truth. If you can take me down directly, I will tell you everything. That is essentially it. And remember, this is a Final Destination movie.'"

"The last horror movie where everyone was wiped out was one of the hardest series the 'Main God' could possibly teleport them into. Don't bother the newcomers with figuring things out. I guarantee those four will survive this movie. If you choose to kill them, then the rest can be left to their own fate."

"'Zheng Zha, I am genuinely happy that you recognize me. Come and strike me. Defeat me, and you become the captain of the Central Continent Team! Otherwise, you die!' Zhang Jie's voice faded until the last few words echoed only within Zheng Zha's mind—a telepathic conversation! Zhang Jie truly was the psychic controller who saved everyone in The Mummy series! But suddenly, an uncontrollable fury surged within Zheng Zha, mixed with a deadly intent! If you are a psychic controller, why didn't you tell us beforehand? Why did you let everyone fall into danger? Did you feel no sorrow watching your comrades fall dead before your eyes? Qi Tengyi, Zero Point... Zhang Jie! If you don't have a good reason, I will surely kill you!" Zheng Zha leaped up, lunging toward the door and unleashing a punch. However, the blow felt like it struck cotton; the recoil nearly forced him to vomit blood.

"It was as if the vehicle door was covered by a shield. Zheng Zha touched it in disbelief; sure enough, it was a soft barrier. He quickly turned to look at the window and gently tapped it, finding another layer of protection there as well."

"This must be the sign that the horror movie hasn't officially started yet—protecting them from external harm while simultaneously preventing them from entering the horror world too soon."

"But why can Zhang Jie and the others leave the horror movie world? Zheng Zha hammered the shield with furious punches, forced to watch Zhang Jie's group gradually move away, leaving him and the eight newcomers behind. Finally, he could not hold back a massive roar, but Zhang Jie and the others did not look back. Slowly, they vanished beyond the flow of traffic. Zheng Zha sat back heavily on the seat, staring out at the familiar sight of Highway 180 from the movie—this was where Final Destination 2 began. A girl, relying on premonitions, saved a group of people from dying in a massive highway pile-up. In reality, however, they were already marked by Death; such an escape only meant their demise would arrive in a more terrifying fashion. Afterward, this group died one after another through seemingly coincidental events, some in bizarre ways. Eventually, only the girl understood Death's intention: Death demanded they die in sequence. So, the girl intentionally drove her vehicle into a lake, choosing her own manner of death, allowing her and one other man to ultimately escape with their lives. Yet, the movie's ending showed that Death's disaster was far from over; their deaths had merely been postponed!" (If we can't leave this bus, then this bus must also be destroyed in the highway crash? Will all of us die then? And there's no driver ahead, so we won't interfere with the plot characters? Look, the car ahead holds the movie's female protagonist, the one with premonitions.) (Isn't this movie simple? As long as we don't follow Death's sequence—just kill one of the plot characters, and the impending death can be delayed by at least a month or two, perhaps even shattering the Final Destination narrative entirely. But could it really be that simple?) Zheng Zha glanced at his watch. It showed the mission requirement was to survive for five days. Those alive after five days would return to the 'Main God' space. For every surviving plot character, an additional 500 Reward Points would be awarded. If not a single plot character died, the team would receive one B-grade side mission and 5000 Reward Points. However, if a member of the Reincarnation Squad killed a plot character, they would be penalized 5000 Reward Points per death.

The rewards seemed truly generous, as they were team-wide bonuses: if all plot characters survived, every member would receive one B-grade side mission and 5000 Reward Points. This advancement meant the entire team's strength would increase substantially, turning even the weakest member into someone surpassing an ordinary person instantly.

"Such high Reward Points—this fourteen-person horror movie seems quite challenging. And since we can't kill the plot characters, breaking Death's sequence appears impossible."

Zheng Zha muttered wryly, realizing he also had to guard against attacks from other veteran members, all while needing to find and defeat Zhang Jie. With all these matters combined, how could he possibly have the time to care about the fate of the plot characters? Just as Zhang Jie suggested, even the newcomers were beyond worrying about their lives now. For this horror movie, he needed to resolve his own issues first.

"'What Reward Points? What horror movie? Damn it, where the hell are we?' The one speaking was a beautiful woman—well, at least her facial features were somewhat regular. The problem was the thick layer of foundation powder she wore, eyes smeared like a panda’s, and hair a scorched yellow. Apart from her inherent appearance, she was undeniably a theatrical performer."

"This street punk half-sat up from the ground. She was quick-witted enough; as soon as she rose, she started checking her clothes. After a moment, she finally looked up at Zheng Zha and said, 'Who are you? Why are you staring at me with those green eyes? Where is this place? Weren't we chatting with classmates at the internet café?' This punk spoke with a Sichuan accent. Looking closely, if she hadn't plastered her face like a panda and worn less powder, this girl would have been quite a pretty seventeen or eighteen-year-old, but her demeanor was far too aggressive. As soon as she sat up, she pulled out a cigarette, lit it, took a deep drag, and then asked, 'I told you to stop staring, you hear me? Be careful, or I'll have someone cut off your what here?' Zheng Zha ignored her, silently observing all the newcomers on the floor. There were five men and three women in total. The five men ranged in age from 20 to 30; this group was surprisingly composed entirely of sturdy fellows. One of them even wore a military uniform, apparently a soldier on leave visiting family. The other four men included a common office worker in his thirties, a scholarly-looking man with glasses in his late twenties—whose demeanor resembled that of Gao Hongliang from the previous horror movie—a thin, pale young man in his mid-twenties, and a handsome, muscular, dyed-blond youth of about twenty-one or twenty-two."

"As for the three women, besides the street punk, there was a beautiful, perpetually-eyed-closed woman in her early twenties, and a professional-looking beauty in her late twenties. All three women possessed looks well above the average. This fact caused several of the men to keep glancing their way."

"Zheng Zha watched them wake up and begin their noisy confusion. He clapped his hands together. 'Alright, I will now explain the environment we are in. Listen closely; I will only say this once.' The dyed-blond, handsome youth dramatically yelled out, waiting until the three beauties looked his way—though one woman kept her eyes closed—before declaring smugly, 'Who the hell are you? So bossy, only saying things once? Do you know who I am? No one in the East District doesn't know me!' Before the words were fully out, there was a heavy thud. The dyed-blond youth was sent flying nearly two rows of seats away, landing flat on the ground. This punch made the soldier immediately look at Zheng Zha with a solemn expression, and his hand slowly moved toward his waist. However, Zheng Zha suddenly produced a micro submachine gun and, right there amidst the highway traffic, pulled the trigger. A rapid paka-paka-paka burst of gunfire erupted, the bullets soaring harmlessly above the vehicle's roof."

"Zheng Zha then pointed the submachine gun at the crowd and said coldly, 'I am not joking with any of you. Tell me, do you wish to die?'"
