Riding the Tomb Lair Boat, Luo Feng penetrated the inner regions of the Cosmic Ark, traversing one terrifying danger zone after another. Though he feared none of the paths, he remained cautiously concealed throughout, hoping that a powerhouse from the Purple Moon Holy Land’s cosmic faction would let down their guard. If he spotted one, he would, without hesitation, use the Star Tower to capture them! It would be a perfect double benefit: severely punishing the Purple Moon Holy Land while simultaneously acquiring some supreme treasures.

Yet, despite spending nearly 900 years to finally reach the area of the cyan token secret chambers, he hadn't encountered a single powerhouse from the Purple Moon Holy Land.

“The Purple Moon Holy Land is far too cautious,” Luo Feng lamented, shaking his head as he sighed. “Such a long journey, and I haven't found a soul. It seems every Universe Master aboard the Cosmic Ark is hiding with extreme care.” The Cosmic Ark was vast, after all. If he moved at high speed, he might spot someone careless, but if they were deliberately hidden, he wouldn't detect them at all.

He gazed out at the boundless space ahead; the region of the cyan token secret chambers lay before him.

“Boom!” The ink-colored small boat surged forward at incredible velocity.

The Tomb Lair Boat deserved immense credit for enabling him to reach this point in only nine centuries. Many perilous locations could be bulldozed through; even an ultimate supreme treasure would be tossed about by certain terrifying environments, despite its defensive capabilities. The Tomb Lair Boat, however, remained steady. Relying on this stability, Luo Feng had specifically sought out areas where treasures had emerged along the way, managing to obtain one peak-tier ordinary supreme treasure, two top-tier supreme treasures, and one high-tier supreme treasure.

When Chaos City Master had spoken with Luo Feng, he had once said: “The Tomb Lair Boat is unshakeable. Ninety percent of the terrifying dangers in the three great forbidden zones are ineffective against it. Perhaps only the core regions could halt its progress… Relying solely on the Tomb Lair Boat to amass treasures is likely more efficient than any powerhouse.”

“To travel the three great forbidden zones aboard the Tomb Lair Boat, collecting countless supreme treasures—what a delight,” Luo Feng murmured from within the vessel, watching massive, leaf-like structures float in the distance as he approached to sense them. “Once I acquire the inheritance left by Jefanzi, I shall truly roam the three great forbidden zones.”

Roaming the three great forbidden zones would require only a sliver of his consciousness.

Luo Feng's primary focus remained on his cultivation.

Two days passed.

Luo Feng located his designated "cyan token space secret chamber."

“This is the one.” The dark green small boat decelerated, descending slowly to land upon the colossal leaf. The hatch opened, and Luo Feng stepped out, tilting his head up toward the structure situated on the leaf.

“Black token secret chamber, cyan token secret chamber—neither possesses any beauty,” Luo Feng said with a wave of his hand, recalling the Tomb Lair Boat. He then walked directly toward the ancient structure before him. Upon contact, his body passed through as if touching water, entering the internal space of the secret chamber.

Luo Feng materialized in mid-air. At a glance, he saw nine colossal, incandescent fireballs suspended in a void, each one hundreds or thousands of times larger than a normal star.

The nine fireballs hung high, circling each other.

In their exact center floated a piece of land.

“Hmm?” Luo Feng stood in the void, his will activating. His ten wings unfurled behind him, enveloping the entire independent space in a hazy golden light. Instantly, everything within that space was under his control. This comprehensive scan… brought a look of astonishment to Luo Feng’s face.

With a single step, he instantly teleported to the surface of that landmass.

The land was vast and boundless.

Luo Feng stood on a patch of desert sand and rock, looking up at the sky. The light emanating from the nine scorching fireballs surrounding the space above converged over the entire landmass, forming an immense mural. Upon this mural were densely packed characters composed of serpentine flames. Though the script was unfamiliar to Luo Feng, every character throbbed with fluctuations that conveyed information, allowing him to understand it effortlessly.

“I am Jefanzi.”

“I was an extraordinary life form, achieving immortality naturally through the Law of Water, cultivating until I became the strongest being in the universe. One day, after reaching the pinnacle, I lived a tranquil life on a life planet. I suddenly realized that the life on this planet required water to survive; water is the source of life. Yet, the entire planet depended on the heat of its star to draw energy for all things to grow.”

“The Law of Water, the Law of Fire—they are not as simple as the laws we comprehend.”

“They are not merely two separate laws. Water and fire both relate to the source of life, the source of all things, the source of propagation. Thus, I created my own school of thought, the new ultimate technique: The Origin of Water and Fire. I traversed the Primal Universe, and then the Primal Universe perished. I observed the Sea of Universe, and I further refined The Origin of Water and Fire across two reincarnation eras. I believe that given enough time, I would certainly reach a higher level, transcending reincarnation. However, time was insufficient. Although I achieved peak Tenth Rank combat power, I still lacked certainty in transcending reincarnation. Nevertheless, The Origin of Water and Fire is the culmination of my efforts across three reincarnation eras, and I cannot bear to see it vanish. I wish for a descendant to inherit my insights.”

“The nine fireballs surrounding the void are peculiar entities found in the Tilt Peak Realm of the Sea of Universe. These nine ‘ice crystals,’ transformed by my ultimate technique, The Origin of Water and Fire, have become these nine fireballs, representing the highest level I could attain. These nine spheres are self-sustaining, their power not leaking outwards.”

“Beneath this ground lies a palace-type ultimate treasure.”

“Within the palace are all the treasures I left behind, along with the detailed inheritance of my ultimate techniques, from the lowest level upward. I implore any successor not to let the crystallization of my life’s work, my legacy, cease.”

The message conveyed by the fiery script in the high sky caused Luo Feng to inhale sharply.

Peak Tenth Rank? The Origin of Water and Fire?

“Truly, every era produces figures of unmatched brilliance,” Luo Feng marveled. “This Jefanzi possessed peak Tenth Rank combat strength, comparable to the original Ancestor. He was undoubtedly one of the most powerful beings of his time. No wonder he was so obsessed with his inheritance; it must be that The Origin of Water and Fire was his most prized ultimate technique, which he refused to see lost.”

Of course, in terms of raw talent and strength, Jefanzi was inferior to the original Ancestor.

After all, the original Ancestor had reached peak Tenth Rank during the Primal Reincarnation Era before being suppressed. Jefanzi took three full reincarnation eras to finally reach peak Tenth Rank.

However… in the current Sea of Universe, aside from the original Ancestor and the two founding ancestors of the Holy Lands, the strongest among others only reached peak Ninth Rank. This comparison highlighted Jefanzi’s extraordinary talent.

“The Origin of Water and Fire—the source of life? The source of all things? The source of propagation?” Luo Feng felt deeply moved. In his past cultivation of the laws—Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth—each was treated as a single, fundamental law. He had never imagined that these seemingly simple, discrete laws contained the profound mysteries of life's origin.

If the ultimate technique he created had been ordinary, then its cessation would have been inconsequential. But a unique art like The Origin of Water and Fire, which far surpassed the techniques of other supreme experts, was truly worth being proud of.

“Such a peerless figure,” Luo Feng sighed. “Yet, he too perished without breaking through reincarnation. To break through reincarnation—how incredibly difficult it is.”

“Collect!”

Luo Feng casually tossed the Star Tower into the air. Guided by his divine power, the nine enormous fireballs in the sky were rapidly drawn into the tower.

“Rise!” Luo Feng turned his attention to the earth beside him.

Rumble—the ground split apart, and a palace rose from beneath the soil. Sand and stone parted to reveal the structure.

A sliver of Luo Feng’s divine power flowed out, swiftly recognizing the palace-type supreme treasure as its master.

“The treasures inside.” As soon as he claimed ownership of the peak palace treasure, Luo Feng instantly became aware of the sheer quantity of valuables it contained. After sorting and cataloging everything, he finally understood Jefanzi’s legacy—and this realization astonished Luo Feng.

Although there were no ultimate supreme treasures among them, the haul was richer than the spoils from killing Lord Haolei (including the plunder from his minor universe).

There were 32 palace-type supreme treasures at the peak domain level.

There were 91 peak-tier ordinary supreme treasures (including top-tier domain treasures).

Ordinary top-tier, high-tier, and standard supreme treasures were comparatively few, totaling just over a hundred pieces. Perhaps Jefanzi simply disregarded or looked down upon them.

As for the vast quantity of precious materials, artifacts for refining supreme treasures, items to restore divine bodies, and elixirs to enhance life genes… these were equally massive.

“Excluding ultimate supreme treasures, this fortune exceeds the wealth of our entire human race,” Luo Feng marveled.

This was, in fact, quite normal.

The wealth of an entire race is primarily created by Universe Masters. Solitary supreme beings—whether Jefanzi in the past, or now Sitting Mountain Guest or the Island Master of Beginning Chaos—are loners who do not need to worry about their clans. They simply accumulated whatever treasures they obtained, and their personal collection rivals that of an entire race!

Jefanzi, possessing peak Tenth Rank combat strength, had once swept across the entire Sea of Universe during his time. However, his obsession with The Origin of Water and Fire meant he lacked great ambition; had he focused solely on plundering, his hoard would likely have been even larger.

Accumulating treasures across three reincarnation eras made this quantity unsurprising.

“So many treasures…”

“The final scar on the white wings of my Wu God Wings can finally be repaired,” Luo Feng exclaimed happily. He then flipped his hand, and in his palm appeared a sphere of crystal stone, roughly the size of a fist. This crystal contained a massive amount of information—precisely Jefanzi’s greatest pride, The Origin of Water and Fire.

“Let’s see this Origin of Water and Fire,” Luo Feng said, immediately becoming engrossed in the data.

As he read, joy blossomed within him. The profound intricacy of The Origin of Water and Fire was so great it could qualify for the core inheritance lineage of the Duan Dong River lineage. Yet, Jefanzi had only managed to conceptualize the foundational level of this ultimate technique, and even that foundation was barely laid. Even so, the exquisite wonder of the concept was evident.

“According to the description of the Origin of Water and Fire ultimate technique,” Luo Feng mused, “at its peak, with a mere thought, one can use the deepest essence of water and fire as a core to instantly evolve a true universe.”

“During combat, one could instantly generate a true miniature universe around one’s body. If an enemy is trapped within a miniature universe, how could they survive?”
