Zheng Zha looked around him. Eleven newcomers were sprawled across the ground in disarray. Zhang Jie and the other two had already managed to stand up; their physical conditioning was vastly superior to that of the fresh faces.

As soon as Zhang Jie steadied himself, his gaze dropped to the ground, and his face turned ashen. "This is bad. Fifteen people. This level of difficulty shouldn't appear in a sci-fi horror film like Alien, which can be explained by technology. The 'Main God' must have altered the difficulty. This is terrible."

Zheng Zha and the other two looked at him in confusion. Zhang Jie took a deep breath. "I've never encountered a situation like this before. During my first horror film, I heard the veterans mention that under certain circumstances, the 'Main God' will change the plot and difficulty of the horror film. Anything could happen in that movie. This usually ends with the entire team dying. Of course, completing such a horror film typically yields very generous rewards. You should look at your watches."

The three looked down at their watches. The data displayed was completely different from what they had seen during Resident Evil One. The numerical countdown was gone. The entire watch face showed only a single line of text: Kill the Alien. Reward: one thousand points per team member, plus one secondary mission from a D-Class horror film.

Zhang Jie then pulled a cigarette from his coat and lit it. "Does anyone here remember the plot of Alien One?" Zheng Zha shook his head. "That movie is very old. Although it’s a classic, I saw it a long time ago. I’ve basically forgotten the details of the plot; I only remember the general story."

Li Xiaoyi also shook his head. "I’ve only watched a few of the newest horror films lately. Who knew the 'Main God' would pick such an obscure movie?" Only Zhan Lan chuckled softly. She rubbed her forehead. "You guys are really unprofessional. Since our lives are now tied to this horror film, naturally, we should go back and watch even the most ancient ones. Besides, ever since I speculated that this dimension existed even in ancient times, I’ve even looked up some modern horror stories. About the plot of Alien..." "...The story of Alien takes place sometime in the future. At that point in time, humanity had already achieved interstellar long-distance travel and established colonies across several solar systems. Regrettably, humanity still hadn't encountered any extraterrestrial life—until the beginning of Alien."

A voice interrupted Zhan Lan before she could finish. A man with ordinary glasses sat up from the ground. Though his appearance was unremarkable, his eyes were remarkably calm, radiating an almost intelligent aura.

The four exchanged glances. Zheng Zha reacted first. "Zheng Zha, welcome aboard, new companion."

With that, he extended his hand to the man.

The man hesitated for a moment before shaking Zheng Zha’s hand. "Chu Xuan. If you don't mind, could you also tell me where exactly we are?" Zheng Zha exchanged a wry look with the other three and replied, "It sounds like you're quite familiar with the plot of Alien One. Could you tell us the detailed plot of this horror film first?" Chu Xuan remained seated, adjusting his glasses. "If you insist."

"The story begins aboard a commercial starship. According to the regulations of the human government at the time, any vessel encountering an unknown electronic signal en route along an interstellar lane was obligated to investigate it to determine if the signal was generated by intelligent life. In the plot, a merchant vessel encountered such a signal during its voyage. It didn't match any known human frequencies and used peculiar runes as its language—likely an electronic signal sent by aliens."

"Under human government rules, the crew of the merchant ship possessed instruments capable of recording electronic signals. If they failed to investigate the signal, they would face severe penalties. Thus, the crew was forced to land on the planet from which the signal originated to investigate the source."

"Indeed, the merchant ship's crew found the source: a massive ruin, possibly an alien spacecraft. Inside, they discovered the colossal remains of an extraterrestrial creature, dead for perhaps tens of thousands of years, entirely fossilized. During further exploration, they unexpectedly found something akin to cocoons within the ruins... they were still living organic matter."

"One of the crew members, out of curiosity, touched one of these cocoons. Subsequently, a highly corrosive organism resembling a starfish burst out, enveloping the entire face of that crew member. After the incident, the man's teammates brought him back to the exploration vessel."

"This starfish-like creature is the Xenomorph—or, more precisely, its infantile form. I call it the Xenomorph Initial Stage. It possesses no inherent harmful ability and cannot sustain itself independently. It must find a host and inject the core of the initial stage into the host to parasitize it. This crew member was subsequently parasitized. Although his external appearance remained unchanged, an evolving Xenomorph was growing inside him."

"Later, when everyone returned to the main ship, the Xenomorph inside the crew member finally finished developing and burst from his chest. Yes, that crew member's body essentially became the Xenomorph's egg. At this point, the Xenomorph was about the size of a snake, but far more aggressive. However, it wasn't unstoppable then; I call this stage the Xenomorph Larval Stage. The subsequent plot becomes rather monotonous: the Xenomorph hides in the dark corners of the ship, continually ambushing crew members until it gains enough sustenance to grow into its third form."

"By this stage, the Xenomorph is nearly perfect: a carapace hard enough to withstand bullets, deadly corrosive bodily fluids, rapid reflexes, terrifying strength, and an innate predatory instinct. Only then did the remaining crew realize what disaster they had brought upon themselves. In fact, the signal emanating from the alien ruins was not a distress call, but a warning... Stay away from here, avoid the ruins!"

"Next..." Chu Xuan's explanation was cut off by another voice. "Is that enough? Why the hell am I listening to you spout nonsense this early in the morning? I asked what the hell this place is?" The four—Zheng Zha included—looked up. Unbeknownst to them, the other newcomers had also sat up, looking around in bewilderment. Three youths with wildly colored hair were staring at them impatiently. The leader, dressed in a hippie style with a nose ring and multiple lip rings, spoke brashly. "Who are you guys? We were just playing games at the internet cafe, how the hell did we end up here?"
