Within the boundless vastness of the Divine Kingdom, the endless Dark Sea churned with surging waves.

"The Cosmic Sea?" Luo Feng stood at the edge of the plaza of the Divine Temple, gazing down at the inexhaustible ocean, his consciousness already connected to the virtual universe as he began his own investigation.

The Cosmic Sea…

A truly boundless entity, the Cosmic Sea was filled with ceaseless currents of chaos, nurturing numerous perilous zones. Among these, the most dangerous were the three great forbidden zones—the Falling Peak World, the Flowing Gravity Mountain, and the Cosmic Boat.

Aside from these hazards, the most common sights within the Cosmic Sea were individual Universes.

Universes were categorized into two types.

One type was the 'Original Universe,' naturally birthed within the Cosmic Sea. The Original Universe was the most powerful entity within the entire Cosmic Sea, unique and singular. The Original Universe gives birth, nurtures the evolution of myriad races, flourishes to its peak, decays, and shatters. This constitutes one cycle! After the Great Destruction, it returns to the origin point, only to commence a new cycle again… The Original Universe thus births countless races and countless mighty experts.

The second type was a Universe created by the strongest beings in the cosmos.

The tiers of cultivation for the powerful were divided into many levels.

Immortals possessed Divine Kingdoms.

As their strength grew, the Divine Kingdom gradually perfected itself. Upon becoming a Universe Master, the space and time laws within the Divine Kingdom became complete. When taking the final step to become the ultimate expert of the cosmos, they trigger the ultimate metamorphosis of their entire Divine Kingdom—it transforms into a nascent miniature universe, which then continues to evolve.

"A miniature universe, actually created by the strongest being—no wonder that the Ancestor of Stars also possesses a universe," Luo Feng mused. Because he was about to venture into the Cosmic Sea, he was taking a rare moment to calm his mind and pore over the complex data, gathering information.

"That’s right. Our human race’s initial universe must belong to the Primal Ancestor. Since the Primal Ancestor was suppressed, the evolution of the initial universe must have stalled, remaining perpetually in that 'initial' state."

The Original Universe was the root of everything.

It birthed countless races, all forms of life, and numerous powerful beings.

It gave birth to the Universe Masters who, in turn, created their own miniature universes. Comparatively speaking, those miniature universes could not hold a candle to the Original Universe. They were not even on the same level.

"One reincarnation cycle…"

"One cycle of the Original Universe births countless races and a massive number of strong individuals." Luo Feng's eyes lit up. "The experts from before the Great Destruction must be the inhabitants of the previous cosmic era, right?" Even the virtual universe network offered no introduction to the experts from the Great Destruction era; at least, Luo Feng couldn't find any.

But it was clear, judging from his previous conversation with the City Lord of Chaos—many of the experts from before the Great Destruction were still alive!

"The experts from before the Great Destruction are all more ancient than the powerhouses of our Original Universe," Luo Feng thought secretly. "Those old fellows have cultivated for endless eons, and to have survived adventuring in the Cosmic Sea, every single one of them must be formidable. Teacher is right; compared to the outside, our Original Universe is simply a cradle! No wonder Teacher wasn't ready to send me into the Cosmic Sea early on. Only after I displayed that other aspect of my abilities did I earn his approval."

Three days later.

An email arrived.

"Luo Feng, after joint appraisal by the Giant Axe Creator and the Virtual Universe System, your contribution this time was immense. However, the Silk Thread Diagram fragments are just pieces and not cohesive, so you are awarded 1,200 Treasure Points, and Ice Peak Master receives 600 Treasure Points. Prepare yourself thoroughly; my main body is rushing back from the Cosmic Sea. This time, my main body will personally escort you into the Cosmic Sea."

The content of City Lord of Chaos's email was brief.

"Teacher's main body?" Luo Feng’s eyes shone with anticipation. "Teacher has three main god-bodies: one guards Chaos City, one guards the Original Universe, and the third roams the Cosmic Sea. It is rumored that Teacher’s main body adventuring in the Cosmic Sea possesses the strongest combat prowess; I have never seen it."

"Hmm, 1,200 Treasure Points, actually double what my martial uncle received. It seems that my notification to the race and my assistance to my martial uncle were judged as greater contributions."

Luo Feng began pondering how to spend these 1,200 Treasure Points.

1,200 Treasure Points could roughly purchase an ordinary peak Supreme Treasure weapon.

Of course, something like his 'Cup of Flame Sand'—a top-tier domain-type Supreme Treasure—was more expensive, costing around 3,000 Treasure Points. Even a slightly inferior top-tier domain-type Supreme Treasure would cost 2,000 Treasure Points.

Top-tier flying palace-type Supreme Treasures... top-tier soul-type Supreme Treasures... all were incredibly costly.

Soul-type Supreme Treasures, he already possessed!

Flying palace-type... although he had the Blood Cloud Palace, he dared not bring it out; revealing it would instantly expose him as the Lord of the Blood Cloud Palace.

"1,200 Treasure Points isn't nearly enough to buy a top-tier flying palace-type Supreme Treasure," Luo Feng shook his head. "As for high-grade flying palace-type Supreme Treasures, some aren't worth it. Never mind, I'll save these 1,200 Treasure Points for when I need Teacher Sitting Mountain Guest to forge precious Supreme Treasures in the future."

Luo Feng had finalized his plan: for this trip to the Cosmic Sea, his Earthling main body would definitely bring the Giant Gold Beast avatar and the Demon Slaughter Tribe avatar. Combining the might of these three avatars made wasting 1,200 Treasure Points on a mere high-grade flying palace-type Supreme Treasure unwise.

"Forget it."

"I should first get familiar with my Cup of Flame Sand. With the combination of the Miniature Universe, the Cup of Flame Sand, and the Wings of Destruction Wu, I already possess the capital to traverse the Cosmic Sea." Luo Feng stood high above the endless Dark Sea, and with a roar, intense flames spread out in all directions. The center of the entire Divine Kingdom became a colossal golden fireball, and Luo Feng stood within that golden inferno.

Nearly a month passed in the blink of an eye.

In the human territory of the Original Universe, at the location of the City Lord of Chaos in Chaos City, the Thousand Treasure River flowed mightily, spanning several light-years.

"Teacher," Luo Feng greeted respectfully.

"Ready?" The City Lord of Chaos, clad in a golden robe, had patches of cyan scales on his head. His face closely resembled an Earthling's, and his eyes were calm, like the endless starry sky. Even standing there, he exuded an overwhelming, surging power, as if the surrounding space-time could erupt and shatter at any moment—a distinct aura of intense aggression.

"Yes," Luo Feng nodded, observing his teacher's main body.

The main body looked exactly like the image frequently projected in the virtual universe. The avatar guarding Chaos City appeared ferocious, while the avatar guarding the Original Universe... must be a special lifeform.

"Follow me," the City Lord of Chaos nodded, leading Luo Feng.

Swish!

First, an instantaneous teleportation, immediately followed by a Divine Kingdom Teleportation…

In a remote corner of the Original Universe, a massive black hole existed, its gravitational pull already plunging the surrounding vast star field into darkness. Two figures flashed into existence there: the City Lord of Chaos and Luo Feng.

"There are two ways to enter the Cosmic Sea," the City Lord of Chaos explained. "One is to enter the space interlayer, teleporting until you reach the far end of the interlayer, and then piercing through the endless Cosmic Membrane wall! Although the obstruction of the Cosmic Membrane is strong, Universe Masters can manage to break through that barrier."

Luo Feng nodded, listening intently.

"The second method is to leave the Original Universe through this Toya Black Hole." The City Lord of Chaos continued, "The Toya Black Hole is arguably the strongest black hole in the entire Original Universe. Its powerful tearing and distorting forces constantly damage the membrane wall, so by entering the black hole, one can pass directly out."

Luo Feng was astonished. "This Toya Black Hole is that powerful?"

"Black holes inherently vary in strength," the City Lord of Chaos clarified. "Of course, if it were just easy to exit, it wouldn't be the reason various powerful entities use this path. The main reason is... the area immediately outside the Toya Black Hole is surrounded by a full thirty-nine natural wormholes."

"Natural wormholes?" Luo Feng's eyes brightened.

"The Cosmic Sea is vast beyond measure," the City Lord of Chaos sighed. "Once you enter the Cosmic Sea, it is no longer the domain of the Original Universe; you cannot use Divine Kingdom Teleportation, nor can you rely on flying through the dark universe. To venture in the Cosmic Sea, one must rely first on instantaneous teleportation, and second, on natural wormholes."

"The Cosmic Sea is terrifyingly huge; the Original Universe is merely one component. Relying solely on teleportation—how long would that take?" the City Lord of Chaos chuckled. "Thus, the importance of natural wormholes is easily imagined."

"Fortunately, the environment in the Cosmic Sea is harsh and bizarre, and natural wormholes are incredibly numerous."

"Following a natural wormhole, traversing from one end to the other might cover tens of billions of light-years," the City Lord of Chaos explained. "Normal travel in the Cosmic Sea relies on natural wormholes to cover the majority of the journey; some remaining distances must be covered by teleportation. Of course, over endless eons, the locations connected by numerous natural wormholes have long been recorded, allowing travelers to find the fastest route to their destination."

Luo Feng nodded.

"Remember this!"

"The Cosmic Sea is different from the Original Universe. The unique structure of the Original Universe allows one to confirm their coordinates from any location. But in the Cosmic Sea, coordinates cannot be confirmed." The City Lord of Chaos warned. "Therefore, maps are extremely important in the Cosmic Sea, and so are the reference points marked on those maps. Only by referencing the map and landmarks can one avoid getting lost in the Cosmic Sea."

"Getting lost in the Cosmic Sea is a terrifying prospect. Once lost... relying on repeated teleportations to find the way back might only cause you to deviate farther and farther, resulting in being permanently lost in the Cosmic Sea. Perhaps, if you are lucky, you might only find your way back after endless epochs."

Luo Feng shuddered.

Lost?

"That is why every Universe Master must leave an incarnation in the Original Universe. This prevents complete disorientation caused by some special circumstance in the Cosmic Sea. With an incarnation, you can at least secure a map. But even with a map, if you drift too far and cannot locate the reference points marked on it, it's over," the City Lord of Chaos stressed. "Therefore, one must not wander randomly in the Cosmic Sea. If you intend to explore, you must travel by flight, because as you fly, you can meticulously record the map of the area you pass through."

Luo Feng nodded repeatedly.

Right.

"Areas clearly marked on the map are safe for teleportation. Do not teleport into unknown regions not covered by the map!" the City Lord of Chaos stated solemnly.

"I will now give you the map of the Cosmic Sea. This is the most detailed map currently known to our human race, though... it covers only a minuscule fraction of the Cosmic Sea." The City Lord of Chaos continued, "At the very least, the three great forbidden zones are included."

Luo Feng quickly received an incredibly complex and vast map projection, the intricacy of which made him tremble.

"Let's go!"

"We head to the Cosmic Sea," the City Lord of Chaos said, directly leading Luo Feng.

Boom!

The two of them flew straight into the depths of the Toya Black Hole and quickly vanished.
