The utterly terrifying psychological onslaught finally shattered Zhan Qingfeng’s formidable composure!

With a low groan, his legs gave a final twitch, his body convulsed twice, and just like his younger brother, he passed out cold. Though, he was slightly better than Zhan Yushu; he fainted, but at least he wasn't foaming at the mouth…

"Damn it! They both passed out already? And they call themselves villains. I even prepared a whole arsenal of tricks I haven't even started using yet…"

Jun Moxie blinked, torn between laughter and dismay.

He failed to consider that an entrance as shocking as his own would likely send even modern youths, accustomed to horror films, into a state of utter terror. How much more so in this superstitious, feudal society?

After an indeterminate amount of time, Zhan Qingfeng slowly awoke, feeling a pervasive, icy chill run through his entire body.

A pungent, foul odor assaulted his nostrils, and simultaneously, he realized his crotch was soaked. "I actually soiled myself from sheer fright…"

He blinked his eyes open to see his brother, Zhan Yushu, still unconscious beside him, in much the same state—both front and back incontinent…

Zhan Qingfeng managed a dry heave, then shakily managed to stand up.

Before him, a figure clad in white stood some distance away. Seeing him awake, the figure sharply demanded, "Zhan Qingfeng, do you know your crime?"

"Know… crime?"

Zhan Qingfeng looked up blankly.

"You have committed countless evil deeds, causing misery for too long! Why do you not swiftly confess and submit to the law?"

The white shadow’s voice was severe.

"May I ask, Emissary Lord, exactly what crime have I committed? How have I done such evil? This humble one is wronged! I implore Your Excellency to investigate thoroughly!"

Zhan Qingfeng knew that one admission now meant eternal damnation!

All he could do now was desperately deny everything!

"You have offended me! That is a crime! One far more unforgivable than any wicked deed you’ve done!"

Jun Moxie snorted, his tone dark and heavy. Enough playing around; he had vented that initial wave of resentment. Now it was time to send them on their way.

"Offended you?"

Zhan Qingfeng blinked in confusion. How could he possibly have the ability to offend this immortal (or ghost)? But in the blink of an eye, he was stunned to see the person before him had completely changed appearance. His nemesis, the possessor of the Ethereal Physique—Mo Junye, that great genius—had somehow materialized out of thin air right in front of him!

Zhan Qingfeng suddenly understood everything, gritting his teeth in intense hatred: "So it’s you, you brat!"

"Indeed! It is your old man!"

Jun Moxie raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you surprised? Aren't you shocked?"

"Shocked, you bastard!"

Zhan Qingfeng erupted in curses. He was certainly no fool; in an instant, he grasped the truth. His earlier speculation about Mo Junye’s true identity had become reality!

But facing that reality now only solidified the fact that he had no path to survival left. He stared at Jun Moxie, his voice venomous: "Mo Junye, so you are that Sovereign of Evil! Jun Moxie! What purpose brings you into the Phantom Estate?"

Jun Moxie sauntered casually. "Why else would I come? Merely to claim the goddess some person cherishes and bring her into my own bed. Although, for this Evil Sovereign, it’s far too easy, lacking any challenge whatsoever…"

This statement was utterly cutting! Jun Moxie always knew how to inflict maximum damage, both physical and mental, upon a person.

What Zhan Qingfeng seemed to care about most right now was this very matter, and Young Master Jun was merely stating an objective, albeit arrogant, truth. Zhan Qingfeng opened his mouth, spat out a mouthful of blood, and let out a mournful laugh: "Do you think you can truly succeed? Sovereign of Evil, what a grand title! But your meager strength is worthless in the eyes of our Misty Phantom Estate, worthless in the eyes of our Zhan Family! You cannot withstand our wrath!"

Nodding, Jun Moxie generously conceded: "If I were to fight you all head-on right now, I admit I am currently incapable. However, why would I fight you head-on? Besides, your Zhan Family’s wrath is just that—a fleeting thing. I truly don't care much about it. Oh yes, it seems you are also unaware of the sudden turn of events in your Zhan Family! And speaking of which, our current relationship is actually quite harmonious…"

"Hahahaha! Once your identity is exposed, harmony will be gone! Our Zhan Family is at its zenith, the strongest force in the Phantom Estate. And yet you boast that you don't care? Who do you think you are!"

Zhan Qingfeng roared with savage laughter.

"What you say holds merit; the Zhan Family's strength is indeed astonishing!"

Jun Moxie sighed. "However, even if I face a terrible fate later, you certainly won't live to see it. Zhan Qingfeng, you don't actually think I only came today to catch up, do you?"

"You mean to kill me?"

Zhan Qingfeng suddenly calmed down. "I know I'm no match for you, but do you know how many people in the Phantom Estate are currently suspicious of your identity? How many have already sent people out to investigate? Once your identity is laid bare, how much better off will your end be than mine?"

He actually managed a smug grin. "You are currently surrounded by crises! Your only path to survival is to ally with my Zhan Family; with our power, we can guarantee your life is safe! And yet you still intend to kill me now? You truly don't know how to die!"

This time, Jun Moxie was truly dumbfounded. Does this Young Master Zhan Qingfeng have any sense at all? Didn't he hear a single word I just said? He never imagined that at this very moment of life and death, this fellow still harbored an unconquerable ambition! Jun Moxie genuinely didn't know whether to laugh or admire him…

"If you are willing to surrender to the Zhan Family, I can even yield Miao Xiaomiao to you! How about it? Isn't that a superb offer!"

A bright spark of hope flared in Zhan Qingfeng's eyes.

Just then, a miserable moan echoed from the ground. Zhan Yushu was stirring awake, and as soon as he opened his mouth, he began wailing, "Spare me! Spare me… It was all big brother’s idea, it has nothing to do with me…" This boy was clearly scared into a nervous breakdown.

The very instant Zhan Yushu opened his eyes, Jun Moxie lunged forward—cackling eerily, "Jie jie jie," he let out a loud, monstrous howl…

Zhan Yushu had just woken up to hear a chilling, ghostly shriek, followed immediately by a gaping, monstrous mouth descending right over his head. In that split second, he had no time to distinguish where he was; he was certain he was already dead, in the underworld, about to be devoured by some savage beast…

He couldn't help but let out a drawn-out sigh, "Ah, uh…" Then his face suddenly turned pale, then sickly green—his head lolled to the side, and he went silent forever… A stream of ghastly, chartreuse fluid trickled from his mouth. This fellow had actually been frightened to death by Young Master Jun’s theatrics, dying prematurely…

Zhan Qingfeng was still passionately arguing his case, sensing that he had grasped the rhythm of survival, and prepared to say more, when he witnessed his own brother die violently right before his eyes…

In that instant, his mind went completely blank!

Jun Moxie slowly rose to his feet, looking down with an air of absolute mastery, and spoke slowly, "I truly have no interest in wasting time with you any longer. You are slightly stronger than Zhan Yushu, because you won't be scared to death by me! However, I truly wonder if you heard what I said earlier. Did I mention that your Zhan Family’s wrath is just a fleeting thing, and I truly don't care? This wasn't boastfulness, because in fact, I have already provoked the greatest fury of your Zhan Family, and I truly don't care—not at all! Oh yes, it seems you still don't know what catastrophe has befallen your Zhan Family? Go to the true Yellow Springs carrying that question!"

Zhan Qingfeng clearly felt the chilling killing intent radiating from Jun Moxie. Hearing those words, his jaw dropped. Standing before the corpse of his recently deceased brother, he actually forgot his anger and grief; under Jun Moxie’s piercing gaze, he felt his entire body turn cold, his heart filled only with terror!

"This farce of yours has exposed far too much of me… and all of this could have been completely avoided! Therefore, your sin is unforgivable, punishable by death!"

Jun Moxie said lightly, "Originally, what your Zhan Family did within the Phantom Estate, and how much wickedness you committed, had nothing to do with me! But you nearly ruined my established plans—that is the reason you deserve to die! Or perhaps it should be said, the beginning of the Zhan Family's downfall started with you two brothers!"

"If there is a next life, remember this well!"

Jun Moxie stated calmly. "Never cross me again!"

As his words ended, he gave a slight wave of his hand. Suddenly, Zhan Qingfeng’s entire body spasmed violently. Slowly, an expression of incomprehensible horror spread across his face, and that same ghastly, chartreuse fluid began to leak from the corners of his mouth…

Judging purely by external appearance, his cause of death was undoubtedly the same as Zhan Yushu's: fright.

Jun Moxie waited quietly for a moment, confirming that no soul-like entities or anything similar would emerge from their bodies, or that they had already dissipated… Only then did his figure shimmer, and he silently vanished…

Soul fluctuations, or perhaps entities like Spirit Seeds or Saint Infants, are advanced phenomena requiring cultivation at the level of a Saint Emperor or higher! Zhan Yushu and Zhan Qingfeng’s meager cultivation levels were nowhere near sufficient to condense such things—upon death, everything naturally dissolved into nothingness…

After another interval, Jun Moxie finally emerged from the underground world of the Zhan Family. No one knew what he had done within the Zhan Family's subterranean depths after killing Zhan Qingfeng and Zhan Yushu… Jun Moxie ascended directly from that underground realm.

He rose straight up to several hundred feet in the sky, and as he looked out, he saw that the spiritual energy layout of the Phantom Estate had undergone a significant transformation.

The fortune of the Miao Family, reversing its previous decline, was now showing clear signs of gradual recovery…

Conversely, the Zhan Family’s once dominant, soaring aura was clearly beginning to dim. As for that malevolent, sinister energy in the center that the Young Master found particularly repulsive, it too had vanished without a trace at some point…

"The concept of Feng Shui is truly this miraculous! Down below, this only just concluded, taking hardly any time at all, yet up here, the changes are already immediate, causing a world-altering shift…" Jun Moxie sighed faintly, realizing then that the Shushu Net was now bathed in the light of the setting sun; in a short while, the sky would be completely dark…

"Blast it…"

Jun Moxie’s expression changed; a sudden thought struck him.
