Luo Feng had obtained the Tribulation Armor and had just experienced the might of this treasure. Only then did he reconnect with the Virtual Universe, intending to inform his teacher, Venerable Zhen Yan, that he was preparing to leave for the Primitive Universe.
In the Virtual Universe, on the vast mountainside of Thunder Island, six figures were seated before Venerable Zhen Yan’s sprawling palace complex, engaged in spirited discussion over drinks.
“Rumor has it that on one of the Primitive Stars, a magnificent divine hall suddenly rose from a vast plain. Before the hall stood an ancient stone tablet detailing a top-tier supreme treasure. With this treasure, one could instantly teleport to shake off any pursuer, and in battle, one could shatter layers of space with ease—an absolute first-rate artifact for both escape and offense. This top-tier supreme treasure is called the ‘Heavenly Mirror Sail.’” A burly man with a distinct triangular horn on his head took a long draught from a strange wine flask, sighing in admiration. “Immediately, three Universe Masters, eighteen Universe Hegemons, and over a hundred Universe Venerables rushed into that hall. Soon after, the hall sealed itself, reopening six years later. However, only half of those who entered survived. Legend says the Heavenly Mirror Sail was ultimately seized by a Universe Master from the Northern Frontier Alliance.”
“Is that true, Venerable Niuzhou? Don’t go exaggerating like last time.”
“Venerable Niuzhou, how come we haven’t heard about this?” The other five Universe Venerables, including Zhen Yan, chuckled alongside him.
Venerable Niuzhou glared, his eyes widening like saucers. “Exaggerating? I wasn’t exaggerating last time either.”
“But what you spoke of last time was a story from the Primitive Star opening before the last one,” interjected a wolf-like Venerable covered entirely in cyan fur.
“The Heavenly Mirror Sail I just mentioned is a top-tier supreme treasure that has only just appeared in this current opening of the Primitive Star,” Venerable Niuzhou retorted, his eyes still wide. “I have countless friends, and many who entered the Primitive Star told me various stories upon their return. I only just learned about the Heavenly Mirror Sail today, and I immediately told you all. And you accuse me of boasting? Just wait a few more years, and once news of the Heavenly Mirror Sail spreads completely, you’ll see.”
“Don’t be angry, Venerable Niuzhou. Tell us another story about a top-tier supreme treasure emerging.”
“Tell us another, and I’ll get you more wine.”
The other Universe Venerables laughed and coaxed him on.
Venerable Niuzhou finally puffed up with pride, downed the rest of the wine in his flask, and passed it over. “Fill it up.”
“You are too greedy. These top-tier supreme treasures… each one is priceless, enough to drive Universe Masters to madness and slaughter,” Venerable Niuzhou shook his head in lament. “This Primitive Star has only been open for a little over a hundred years; there aren't that many stories of top-tier treasures yet. If several more top-tier treasures appeared, we might see a Universe Master fall.”
“Eh, look over there.”
“Isn't that Blade River King Luo Feng?”
“Zhen Yan, your disciple has arrived.”
These Universe Venerables all saw the figure approaching in the distance—it was indeed Luo Feng.
“I heard your disciple was chased by countless foreign race experts in the Yan God Race territory over a hundred years ago, but he came through unscathed. Zhen Yan, your disciple’s means of survival are at least superior to yours now.”
“Of course, they are superior to mine,” Zhen Yan smiled. “He is the future pillar of our human race. His life-preserving techniques must be formidable.”
As they spoke, Luo Feng flew closer.
“Teacher,” Luo Feng said with a smile.
“Luo Feng, come, sit,” Venerable Zhen Yan gestured toward an empty seat nearby.
Luo Feng smiled, sat down, and greeted the other Universe Venerables. “Everyone is here.”
“We dare not enter the Primitive Star when it opens, but we can at least listen to the news and learn something about what’s happening there,” said an old man with long, flowing hair, resembling a lion at first glance, with a chuckle. “By the way, Blade River King, I heard you were heading to the Primitive Star. Why haven't you gone yet?” Once one entered a Primitive Star, communication with the Virtual Universe was severed.
“How do you know Blade River King hasn't gone? Blade River King possesses the Talent Clone Technique; perhaps he left a clone in our human race territory and can enter the Virtual Universe at any time,” Venerable Niuzhou pointed out.
“That makes sense.”
“Venerable Niuzhou is right,” the others laughed. They then turned to Luo Feng. “Blade River King, have you gone to the Primitive Star yet?”
“Not yet,” Luo Feng replied with a smile. “But soon. I came here to inform the teacher that I will be entering the Primitive Star immediately.”
“Going right away?” Venerable Zhen Yan was slightly startled.
“Blade River King, who are you going with? Surely not alone?” the Wolfman Venerable asked.
Luo Feng nodded. “I’m going in alone to explore.”
“That’s too dangerous.”
“Even many high-level Universe Venerables have perished. Blade River King, it would be better to ally with other powerful experts,” they all advised.
Luo Feng smiled. “It’s fine; I need to gain some experience.”
“I have some detailed intelligence regarding the Primitive Star here, covering all the various events that have transpired over the last hundred-plus years.” Venerable Niuzhou’s bell-like eyes fixed on Luo Feng. “I enjoy making friends and gathering all sorts of information. The sheer volume of this data, among many Universe Venerables, I wouldn't dare call it number one, but it is definitely top three. I will send you a copy later. Take a good look before you enter; it will give you an understanding of the conditions on the various Primitive Stars.”
Luo Feng was secretly delighted. “That would be greatly appreciated, Venerable Niuzhou.”
“Venerable Niuzhou’s intelligence files are indeed extensive,” Venerable Zhen Yan also smiled and nodded in agreement.
“But, Blade River King,” Venerable Niuzhou insisted, his eyes wide, “the more I collect, the more I feel the dangers within the Primitive Star are utterly unpredictable. It might have been calm before, but suddenly a supreme treasure could appear. That commotion would instantly attract several super-experts, and the weak would face immediate annihilation. In my opinion, with your current strength… coupled with the fact that you possess many supreme treasures that would make other races’ experts covetous, your survival probability is likely no more than one in ten.”
“One in ten?”
“That can’t be right.”
“Luo Feng has the innate secret technique, ‘Domain.’ Less than one in ten?” The other Universe Venerables shook their heads. Luo Feng’s escape from the pursuit of various race experts had already made him famous.
Luo Feng paused. So low?
“Is it because of the Universe Masters?” Luo Feng frowned. “Universe Masters are strong, and more than half of the Universe Masters in the entire universe are gathered on the Primitive Star this time. But they are scattered across dozens of Primitive Stars. The total number of Universe Masters is relatively small, and most Primitive Stars don't even have one. The probability of encountering a Universe Master is quite low.”
“I said your survival probability is low, not because of the Universe Masters. It’s the environment of the Primitive Star itself!” Venerable Niuzhou exclaimed. “Each Primitive Star is only so large, yet it gathers so many high-level Universe Venerables and Universe Hegemons… Once you are discovered, those foreign race experts will immediately coordinate to counter your innate secret technique, ‘Domain,’ preventing your escape, and then they will strike to kill you.”
Luo Feng nodded slightly. Right.
A trump card, once exposed, ceases to be one. Although the ‘Domain’ technique is heaven-defying, it is not invincible. If a few Universe Hegemons prepared meticulously and cooperated, breaking it would not be difficult; some Hegemons with extraordinarily powerful techniques could even crack it alone.
“So, it would be best if you had a partner,” Venerable Niuzhou advised. “Complement each other. When facing certain dangers, you can rely on your innate secret technique, ‘Domain,’ to flee. And for other dangers, rely on your partner to see you through.”
“Thank you, Venerable Niuzhou,” Luo Feng said with a smile.
“I’m sending you the data now,” Venerable Niuzhou said.
Instantly, Luo Feng received an email with a massive, detailed attachment containing text, images, videos, and all sorts of data concerning the events of the past hundred-plus years since the Primitive Star opened.
Luo Feng sighed inwardly. How fortunate… How fortunate he had already obtained the Tribulation Armor!
“With the Tribulation Armor, it’s as if I’m wearing a fortress,” Luo Feng mused. “Combined with the transformation and aura-copying methods of the Demon Killing Clan, who will be able to recognize me as Blade River King Luo Feng then?”
Previously, in the God Kingdom, Luo Feng’s true form—the Earthling—and his Golden Horned Beast clone had both tested the Tribulation Armor, experiencing its power. This perfectly matched the sensation he received when initially recognizing the armor as his master, making Luo Feng realize… The Tribulation Armor… truly was a super supreme treasure!
No wonder beings like Emperor Yan resorted to such despicable methods. The Tribulation Armor was indeed incredibly heaven-defying; Luo Feng estimated it might even surpass the Thousand Treasure River.
The Tribulation Armor was forged by Lord of the Mountains, and it was a very special type of supreme treasure armor, unlike the other treasures Luo Feng knew. Treasures like the Supreme Being Wu Wing, the Golden Rumble Beast King Armor, and the Heavy Treasure ‘Ancient Ship Galaxy’ all required extremely high comprehension of the laws to control. Currently, Luo Feng could only activate the second form of the Wu Wing and the second form of the Golden Rumble Beast King Armor; the Ancient Ship Galaxy had not yet reached its maximum potential.
But the Tribulation Armor was completely different! Soldier Armor, General Armor, King Armor, Emperor Armor… none of these forms were related to law comprehension; they were tied to physical strength! The Tribulation Armor, too, was connected to the strength of one’s divine body. If the divine body wasn't strong enough, no amount of law comprehension would matter. If the divine body was powerful enough… even extremely low law comprehension would suffice.
The Tribulation Armor possessed three distinct forms:
The first form required the strength equivalent of one hundred million times a Sector Lord to activate. When active, it could weaken material attacks to one-thousandth of their original power and soul attacks to one-tenth, while granting the user the power of one billion Sector Lords.
The second form required one hundred trillion times a Sector Lord’s power to activate. When active, it would weaken material attacks to one ten-thousandth and soul attacks to one-tenth, granting the user the power of one trillion Sector Lords.
The third form required one quadrillion times a Sector Lord’s power to activate. When active, it would weaken material attacks to one-hundred-thousandth and soul attacks to one-tenth, granting the user the power of one million Sector Lords.
This was an incredibly heaven-defying defensive supreme treasure!
Once a Universe Master burned their divine body to activate it, they could fully utilize the third form. Relying on it, they could essentially withstand the material attacks launched by other Universe Masters using super supreme treasures! In terms of ‘material attacks,’ they would face almost no threat, unless they encountered an even more heaven-defying attack treasure, such as a supreme ultimate treasure.
If such a super supreme treasure appeared on a Primitive Star, it would be enough to cause numerous Universe Masters to fight to the death; the fall of one or two Universe Masters would be entirely normal.
