To step inside the Treasure Trove Hall was no simple feat! Even top-tier merchants or well-known official families had to deeply consider the thickness of their purses before entry. [ ] To suffer public humiliation within these walls would instantly make one notorious across the land!

And the Treasure Trove Hall, which constantly brought forth endless surprises, possessed an extremely mysterious and unfathomable origin. No one had ever discovered the true mastermind behind it, nor could anyone ascertain which established family or shadowy power it belonged to.

Since the very day Tianxiang City was established, the Treasure Trove Hall had existed. It had weathered countless wars and seen the succession of many dynasties. Numerous emperors and renowned generals had long since turned to dust, buried by history, yet the Treasure Trove Hall remained steadfastly erect, growing—even flourishing!

Any individual who ever contemplated undermining the Treasure Trove Hall—be they powerful court officials, massive civilian magnates, or martial artists from both the legitimate and underworld spheres—had, by now, become nothing more than bare bones. There were no exceptions!

Even the young masters from the major aristocratic families of Tianxiang City had to behave with utmost deference once they arrived at the Treasure Trove Hall. Yet, this very place was precisely the sort of location the former Jun Moxie most vehemently disliked visiting. Now, however, it had become the place he was most intensely curious about!

What if one were to start a fire in such a place? It would surely be thrilling beyond measure, wouldn't it? Jun Moxie leaned back against the soft cushions of his sedan chair, contemplating with a touch of malice. What skill was there for a young master from an official's family to bully common citizens? That only invited scorn! If one wished to stir trouble, one had to dare to swat a fly on a tiger’s head—now that was damn exciting!

Battling against countless shrimp-like figures daily, winning every single skirmish, would only result in becoming a slightly stronger shrimp in the end.

If one seeks conflict, seek out massive trouble and formidable opponents; only then will it be fun, interesting, thrilling, and utterly satisfying!

Treasure Trove Hall. Hmm, an excellent spot, haha. But such a craving, it’s best to hold it in check for now. I’ll come back to play when my own strength has become absolute.

The Great Assassin Jun, in both his past and present lives, had always been audacious to the extreme; what was there that he truly feared? No matter how unconventional the Treasure Trove Hall was, in his eyes, it was merely an auction house. Could it truly overturn the heavens?

To keep pace with Jun Moxie, Tang Yuan deliberately rode a magnificent, tall steed, keeping alongside the sedan chair, turning his head occasionally to exchange a few words. As they neared the Treasure Trove Hall, Fatty Tang suddenly had a whimsical thought, stroking his chin: "Third Young Master, you riding in the sedan and me on horseback, doesn't this feel a bit like the groom escorting the bride? Third Young Master, why don’t you just agree to it!"

"Scram! Get lost, you’re sickening me!" A wave of nausea churned in Jun Moxie's stomach; he let out a dry heave, then with a swish, lowered the sedan curtain, leaving the fellow outside laughing particularly loudly.

Alighting from his horse at the entrance of the Treasure Trove Hall, Tang Yuan’s noble steed was already foaming slightly at the mouth. In truth, Fatty Tang’s mount was a first-rate warhorse, but Young Master Tang’s sheer bulk was simply too much for it.

Jun Moxie, looking somewhat sickly, gasped sharply as he stepped out of the sedan.

This Treasure Trove Hall was simply too... enormous? Was this the legendary "Auction Arena"?!

It was a bit too preposterous, wasn't it?

In any kingdom, within the capital city, save for military barracks, no person or establishment dared to construct a building larger than the Imperial Palace. This was an act strictly forbidden, tantamount to treason—an unforgivable crime implying seditious intent!

Yet, the Treasure Trove Hall actually dared!

The Treasure Trove Hall before him, in Jun Moxie’s memory, was indeed larger than the Imperial Palace appeared! And far more magnificent and bustling! However, the Royal Family seemed utterly unconcerned by this fact, even taking some pride in it. This single detail was enough to set Jun Moxie’s mind racing. He thought to himself that the Tianxiang Royal Family must certainly be aware of the Treasure Trove Hall's background.

Nevertheless, the Treasure Trove Hall did grant the Tianxiang Royal Family a measure of face; the largest private box inside was perpetually reserved for them. Whether anyone attended or not, this box always remained empty. Several other nations also possessed private boxes here, though they were comparatively smaller.

As for the major aristocratic families of Tianxiang City, each maintained their own private box, though they were required to pay a substantial "Box Fee" regularly. No family had ever expressed displeasure over this peculiar regulation! On the contrary, aside from a few select spots, the high-level private rooms surrounding the auction floor were almost all permanently occupied, as most seating was in the main hall. If the scions of aristocratic families were seen sitting in the hall, it would be a grave loss of face!

Thus, the private boxes of the Treasure Trove Hall had long since evolved into a unique symbol of status!

It was extremely rare for any nouveau riche to gain access.

Furthermore, on the surface, the Treasure Trove Hall appeared solely focused on frantically amassing wealth, showing complete disinterest in political matters or disputes, never interfering in the slightest. But if any fugitive or wanted person sought refuge within the Treasure Trove Hall, believing they would find sanctuary, they would be gravely mistaken. The Treasure Trove Hall would bind them securely and hand them over, actually saving the officials and related parties the time of pursuit. Regardless of the legitimacy of the charges or the original intent, infiltrating the Treasure Trove Hall with the intention of diverting trouble was itself the greatest offense!

Jun Moxie narrowed his eyes, gazing at the Treasure Trove Hall's entrance, as wide as a city gate. Although Young Master Jun the Third had never set foot inside, he knew that the Treasure Trove Hall held auctions almost daily, but truly exceptional items were only auctioned once a month.

And today, coincidentally, was that very day.

And the auction of rare items was always a lively affair.

Another of the Treasure Trove Hall’s greatest oddities was the nature of the items it auctioned. Almost no one knew their origins, nor had anyone ever witnessed the Treasure Trove Hall engaging in purchasing or pawnbroking activities. All auction lots seemed as if they were manufactured in-house; this fact only deepened the mystery.

Fatty Tang seemed to have visited a few times. He turned back to call out, and Jun Moxie quickly followed. Of the eight guards accompanying him, one was left behind to retrieve the silver notes, while the remaining seven filed in orderly fashion.

As Jun Moxie walked, he suddenly frowned!

This Treasure Trove Hall was truly not simple, was it?

From the moment he entered the main gate, he had been scanned by five or six distinct spiritual senses. It felt as if he were checked nearly every two steps or upon turning a corner! This put Jun Moxie greatly on guard! Based on his estimation, each of these hidden individuals possessed a cultivation strength no lower than the Jade Grade Profound Qi level!

And this was only accounting for the inspections from within the Treasure Trove Hall itself.

Behind Jun Moxie, two distinct groups of people were approaching, and each carried a chilling aura of murderous intent—the scent of his own kind! This was something Jun Moxie was intimately familiar with and could not possibly mistake! Moreover, these two groups maintained extreme vigilance against each other, behaving as if they were already on a battlefield. Therefore, Jun Moxie concluded that these two groups behind him were certainly not allies.

They were his peers, at least former peers.

Walking further on, just a few steps up the stairs lay the Tang family’s private box. As Jun Moxie placed a hand on the banister, he seemed to stumble slightly, as if losing his footing. Taking advantage of this moment, he glanced back and saw six men in black move off to another section, splitting into two groups of three, entering two separate boxes. One box had a curtain embroidered with a shimmering golden tulip; the other box had a black curtain, embroidered with a pure white snow lotus.

The main hall below was already packed, yet everyone sat peacefully, creating an atmosphere of harmonious tranquility. Attendants moved methodically back and forth carrying trays; though numerous, they maintained an extreme quiet. After all, these patrons generally felt they lacked the standing to cause trouble within the Treasure Trove Hall.

Entering the box, Jun Moxie obliquely glanced toward the Jun family's designated private room. Upon the snow-white curtain, a massive Blood Orchid bloomed ferociously. He couldn't help but offer a wry smile. Since the Jun family secured this box, the family members had only entered it perhaps less than two or three times in total. He had no idea what Grandpa was thinking, consistently paying the fee and maintaining it to this day—it truly showed the Treasure Trove Hall immense respect.

"Whose boxes are those two?" Jun Moxie asked casually, gesturing toward the boxes the two groups of men in black had entered.

&l;Attended a friend's wedding early this morning and helped out. Reality proved I shouldn't have gone. The moment I arrived, it turned into a massive crowd, banners waving everywhere, and I instantly became the focal point! The old ladies smiled sweetly when they saw me; the young maidens blushed deeply, their jade cheeks burning crimson, their eyes wide with astonishment; and the married women—well, I’ll skip mentioning them! The tallest tree catches the wind. This saying is certainly true—all the menfolk wanted to beat me up! The moment I stood there, I stood head and shoulders above the rest, and no one dared stand near me! My presence single-handedly stole the spotlight from the bride and groom! Ah, in the passage above, I haven't stated even one word about how handsome I am; Heaven and Earth can bear witness! You are forbidden from attacking me!&g;
