Shi Yan moved with cold composure, pacing the deck as if he were the scythe of the God of Death, reaping the lives of one pirate after another.
The deck was littered with corpses.
Three martial artists of the Hundred Tribulations Realm were slaughtered by Shi Yan with effortless ease; not a single one managed to withstand his attack for even a brief moment.
Lin Xiaochang’s body, shattered into ice crystals and emitting a chill, rested upon the wheelchair, utterly devoid of life force.
Kong Lao Er and the Bearded Man had also met their grisly ends at Shi Yan’s hands.
Kong Lao Er, in particular, died in a most bizarre manner. Though his body lunged toward the sea, he seemed to be snatched back by an invisible massive hand, utterly incapable of resistance, his throat easily pierced by Shi Yan.
The pirates who shared Kong Lao Er’s impulse to flee into the sea—five of them—were swiftly cut down by Shi Yan right there on the deck.
The remaining six plummeted into the ocean, swimming desperately toward the distance.
Shi Yan, too, leaped into the sea. In the water, he was like a great white shark opening its massive jaws, hunting down each escapee one by one, leaving not a single soul alive, slaying them all.
Having finished his grim task, Shi Yan climbed back onto the ship using a rope ladder.
Onboard, Linda remained steeped in overwhelming astonishment, staring blankly at him.
Over twenty martial artists—three of the Hundred Tribulations Realm, ten of the Human Rank Realm, and more than a dozen of the Innate Realm?—all the essence and vitality from these lives had been completely absorbed by Shi Yan into his acupoints, leaving nothing behind!
After absorbing these vital energies, a faint, throbbing pain began to spread through Shi Yan’s acupoints, and various negative emotions started to leak out, attempting to assault his consciousness.
Back on the ship, Shi Yan merely glanced at Linda, and an undeniable thought surged in his mind.
Use Linda’s body to release the negative desires brewing within, thereby restoring the body to its peak state, even if only briefly!
The moment this thought surfaced in his mind, it became impossible to suppress. His inner demon was unleashed, Shi Yan’s desires boiling over, and he found his gaze fixated on Linda with a restless, wandering mind.
Linda was still lost in profound shock, unaware that Shi Yan, due to the absorption of so much dark energy, was now gripped by an inner demon concerning her, and she continued to gaze at him vacantly.
“So, it really was you who saved me from the Azure Scale Beast that time,” Linda’s beautiful eyes shimmered with unusual light, and a strange radiance flickered across her face. She looked utterly rejuvenated. “Why didn’t you admit it? You are so powerful, why endure humiliation on this ship? With your ability, you could have crushed Kamon easily. Why suffer in silence?”
Shi Yan frowned slightly and said coolly, “My power recovers very slowly. I have not yet returned to my peak.”
“You haven’t even reached your peak now?” Linda was utterly shocked, staring at him fixedly. “I feel like you should only possess the cultivation of the Hundred Tribulations Realm, yet why can you slaughter so many people so easily? Among them were three martial artists of the Hundred Tribulations Realm—they didn't even have the strength to fight back in your hands!”
Linda took a deep breath, her eyes gleaming intensely as she stared at Shi Yan, and she exclaimed sharply, “Who exactly are you? You are so young, yet possess such terrifying power. You absolutely cannot be an obscure figure!”
“I am not from the Endless Sea,” Shi Yan shook his head and explained calmly. “I wasn’t before, but perhaps I will be in the future. Even if I told you who I am now, you wouldn’t know.”
Linda assumed Shi Yan was deliberately concealing his identity. She shook her head gently with a soft sigh. “I understand. Figures like you wouldn’t pay attention to minor characters like us. If you don’t wish to say, then don’t. I am certain I will know who you are eventually.” Shi Yan suddenly sat down heavily on the deck—[Slayer God Update Group]—his breathing becoming somewhat labored. He tilted his head slightly to look at Linda, his gaze burning with heat.
Linda’s heart suddenly lurched with alarm.
She was all too familiar with the look in Shi Yan’s eyes at that moment! Many men had displayed that very expression when looking at her. Linda, having traveled far and wide for so many years, was no naive woman; she recognized naked male desire in Shi Yan’s eyes!
“Go! Get away from me while I still have my wits about me!” Shi Yan gritted his teeth and roared low.
Having absorbed so much power, those negative emotions were finally showing signs of spiraling out of control. The thought of possessing Linda that had surfaced in his mind—Shi Yan had been fiercely suppressing it, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to contain.
The inner demon was slowly taking the initiative, gnawing away at his rationality, seeming to entice him step by step toward the abyss of sin.
“What’s wrong with you?” Linda suddenly cried out. “Are you injured?”
If Shi Yan hadn't urged her to leave, she might have become frightened and proactively distanced herself. But now, with Shi Yan’s look so blatant, yet him biting down on his words to urge her away, Linda realized something was amiss, and she lingered instead. “You were fine before; what happened so suddenly? How can I help you?”
“Don’t mind me, get as far away as possible!” Shi Yan roared again. “If you don’t want to lose your purity, hurry up and get clear!”
Shi Yan did not want her to use the iron chains on the ship to bind him.
Linda was not Xia Xinyan; Shi Yan didn't trust her. Moreover, although the pirates on this ship had been eliminated, there were others nearby. Once his body was restrained, it would be difficult for Shi Yan to resist if other pirates approached.
“Ah!” Linda covered her mouth, her face flushed crimson, her beautiful eyes filled with panic as she retreated step by step toward the stern.
“Whoosh, whoosh!” Just then, the Hundred-Foot Centipede that had previously vanished near the stern suddenly shot back out.
A stream of venomous fluid erupted from the centipede’s maw, splashing directly onto Linda’s startled, delicate body.
“Ah!” Linda shrieked again and immediately brandished her short sword, engaging the Hundred-Foot Centipede in a fierce fight.
The pale green venomous fluid coated Linda’s entire body, emanating a foul stench. As she swung her sword, her limbs gradually grew numb, and her strength began to fade.
Shi Yan, breathing heavily, saw Linda in distress, gritted his teeth, and stood up. He condensed a mental shockwave once more, launching it fiercely toward the centipede’s soul.
Simultaneously, Shi Yan casually grabbed the spiked mace that the Bearded Man had dropped, a look of savage violence on his face, and charged forward.
Struck by Shi Yan’s mental energy, the Hundred-Foot Centipede suddenly dropped from the air. Seeing Shi Yan approaching, the centipede activated all its hundred feet and fled rapidly in terror.
It recognized the one attacking it as Shi Yan; it could sense the overwhelming killing aura emanating from him. It was afraid.
“Run! Keep running! Let’s see you run!” Shi Yan, brandishing the mace, surged past the weakened Linda and brought the mace down heavily onto the Hundred-Foot Centipede.
Channeling all his strength again, the spiked mace in Shi Yan’s hand began to emit a pale, cold light.
“Crack! Crack!” In just a few strikes, the centipede’s head was smashed into a bloody pulp by the mace. The centipede’s body was not inherently tough; its advantage lay in its agility and its ability to spew poison.
It shouldn't have been killed by Shi Yan so quickly, but unfortunately, it had already endured multiple strikes from Shi Yan’s mental shockwave, its soul nearly disintegrated. Its movements were no longer as flexible as usual, allowing Shi Yan to dispatch it easily.
With the Hundred-Foot Centipede dead, Shi Yan threw down the mace and looked toward Linda, his eyes blazing.
Linda’s delicate body felt numb and weak, and a sharp, piercing pain gradually spread within her. Under Shi Yan’s intense gaze, her beautiful face grew pale, her eyes dimmed, and she murmured faintly, “I… I don’t think I’m going to make it.”
“Shi Yan, please promise me you will take my crew members away alive, don’t let the pirates slaughter them all! I beg you!” Shi Yan gasped, his expression ferocious, his eyes burning with lust, and he growled low, “Linda, I will take you! That is how I can save you!”
“Wh-what?” Linda’s voice grew weaker, her beautiful eyes filling with a strange light. “What did you say? You can save me? The potent venom of this Black Body Centipede can only be cured by the special antidote pills from the Fifteen Great Factions. Do you have that pill?”
“I don’t have any antidote pill, but if I take you, I can save you!” Shi Yan gritted his teeth, veins bulging on his face, looking savage. “You decide—do you want your purity, or do you want your life!”
Linda froze, a spark of light flashing in her eyes. She stared blankly at Shi Yan, and just as she felt her soul beginning to drift away, she suddenly lowered her head, murmuring so softly it was like the buzzing of a fly, “I… I have never been with a man before. Please, please be gentle with me…” As she spoke these words, a faint flush of color appeared on Linda’s pale neck, and she felt immense shyness.
Lying sideways on the deck, Linda’s curves were exquisitely displayed. Her hips were raised high, and her chestnut-colored hair softly draped over them, outlining her seductive contours, making the blood surge.
Shi Yan looked at her through gritted teeth, his gaze lingering on her graceful, moving body for a moment. Finally, he couldn't hold back the roar and pounced on her like a beast.
He tore her clothes apart, piece by piece.
In an instant, Linda was stripped bare, like a white sheep; her skin was like snow, radiant and plump, possessing excellent elasticity to the touch.
Shi Yan did not hold back. He gripped her soft breasts with one hand and, positioning himself sideways, pressed his abdomen against Linda’s most eye-catching, snowy white hips, entering her from that point.
On the ship, savage roars, like those of a beast, echoed continuously, the sounds of extreme pleasure reverberating across the sea, punctuated by low cries of pained intimacy.
“No, didn’t I ask you to be gentle? You… you’ve left me unable to even stand up! How am I supposed to face Kamon and the others?”
Long, long after, the roaring ceased, and everything seemed to settle into quiet. A woman’s complaining voice drifted from the deck.
“At a time like that, I couldn’t control myself either,” the man chuckled lightly. “How about it? Is the venom damage in your body gone?”
The woman was silent for a moment, apparently checking her physical condition. After a long pause, she exclaimed with surprise, “The venom damage is really gone! Moreover… moreover, there seems to be… an extra surge of strength in my body! I feel like… one part of my body has been changed!”
“Eh!” The man exclaimed, hesitating for a moment, then murmuring, “Could it be that the Martial Spirit has awakened again?”
“Ah!”
