The Tiansuo Archipelago consisted of thirty-six islands. Although the island chain was extensive, the resources of the Tianleng Archipelago were notably sparse, boasting neither valuable mines nor any rare celestial treasures.
Despite the abundance of islands in the Tiansuo Archipelago, the number of martial artists was small. This region was considered relatively remote within the Yuanluo Sea Domain, attracting little attention from the Three Gods Sect, the Dongfang Family, or the Gu Family.
A small boat, flying the banner embroidered with the sun, moon, and stars, navigated slowly through the Tiansuo Archipelago.
The vessel was modest, only about twenty meters long, piled high with various sundry goods. A dozen disciples of the Three Gods Sect stood on deck, displaying an air of profound boredom.
All of them possessed cultivation levels ranging only up to the Xiantian or Hundred Calamities realm. They had accepted a mission to transport the supplies on this boat to the Gu Family.
Linda was the minor leader of this small team, holding the cultivation of the first level of the Hundred Calamities realm.
She appeared to be around twenty-five or twenty-six, possessing striking beauty. She wore the plain grey uniform of the Three Gods Sect, with the sun, moon, and star pattern embroidered on her shoulders. The uniform was quite form-fitting, accentuating the full curves of her figure. Her chestnut-colored hair was tied back with a purple silk ribbon, long enough to trail down to her shapely hips; as she moved, the flowing strands would gently brush against her pert backside, inviting suggestive thoughts.
On the small boat, the male disciples of the Three Gods Sect were scattered around, yet they frequently stole glances at Linda, secretly swallowing their saliva.
They were not core disciples of the Three Gods Sect.
These individuals lacked the Sun, Moon, and Star Martial Soul of the sect. They had previously belonged to the minor powers within the Yuanluo Sea Domain, and after their respective factions submitted to the Three Gods Sect, they were sent over to become outer disciples.
Without the Sun, Moon, and Star Martial Soul, they could never be considered core disciples. Thus, even though they belonged to the Three Gods Sect, their roles were limited to serving tea, fetching water, and handling miscellaneous chores for the sect.
Linda, at twenty-five, already possessed the cultivation of the first level of the Hundred Calamities realm, indicating exceptionally outstanding aptitude.
Regrettably, she lacked the Sun, Moon, and Star Martial Soul. Despite her considerable cultivation, she still failed to gain recognition from the Three Gods Sect, confining her to the role of a minor leader among the outer disciples, tasked only with trivial duties like delivering cargo.
Linda worked relentlessly, hoping that one day she could accumulate enough merit to earn the right to undergo rigorous cultivation at the main headquarters of the Three Gods Sect.
Only outer disciples with outstanding contributions were granted the privilege of training at the main sect. If one demonstrated exceptional performance during this secluded cultivation, there was a minuscule chance of becoming a core disciple despite lacking the Martial Soul, enabling them to learn the profound martial arts of the Three Gods Sect and receive the sect's full sponsorship.
Thump! The small boat suddenly vibrated violently, as if it had struck a hard object on the seabed.
Linda’s beautiful face changed slightly, surprise flickering in her heart. She had traversed this section of the Tiansuo Archipelago more than once and had never encountered hidden reefs. This jolt was deeply puzzling to her. She pointed toward a martial artist at the third level of the Renwei realm and instructed, “Kamon, go down and check if we’ve hit a reef.”
“A reef…” Kamon repeatedly shook his head. “Impossible. My father told me before I came that there are no reefs anywhere in the Tiansuo Archipelago. There aren't any powerful martial artists here either, or else they wouldn't have assigned our small team to deliver goods to the Gu Family…”
Linda narrowed her slender eyes slightly and stated flatly, “I asked you to go down and check; I didn't ask for your commentary.
Kamon chuckled, nodding repeatedly. “Alright, alright, I’ll go down. Linda, don't be so fierce. If you command it, how dare I disobey…”
Chuckling, Kamon gave a sharp cry and plunged into the sea.
In an instant, Kamon surfaced, trembling violently, and shrieked, “There are glaciers underwater! Massive glaciers! They are everywhere! Ah, so cold! So cold!” Kamon screamed, frantically paddling in the water, desperately trying to climb back onto the small boat, repeatedly crying out, “Our boat struck the tips of two glaciers and is stuck! Ah, so cold, so cold…”
Kamon’s face was pale. He scrambled aboard the boat, his expression full of disbelief. “I truly can't believe there are glaciers down here. I’ve visited the Tianleng Archipelago several times, and I’ve never seen anything like this…”
Everyone on the boat was shocked, voices rising in murmurs.
“Glaciers? How can there be glaciers…” Linda also looked astonished, shaking her head repeatedly.
Each time she shook her head, the ponytail behind her head swayed and repeatedly slapped her full, rounded buttocks, producing crisp pa-pa sounds that stirred the imagination and invited reverie.
“Who the hell knows…” Kamon stood behind Linda, shivering from the cold, but his eyes were fixed intently on her rear, burning with heat.
“I’ll go down and see…” Linda pondered for a moment. Without notifying the others, she leaped gracefully, plunging into the sea.
Beneath the waves, the glaciers resembled colossal undersea mountains.
A rough count suggested there were no fewer than ten, and the base of not a single glacier was visible, seemingly plunged into the abyss of the deep ocean.
In the azure water, glaciers stood in profusion, radiating chilling energy. Between the glaciers were faint, turbid currents connecting them. These currents were intensely frigid, and most of the coldness in the depths originated from them.
Linda’s delicate body trembled slightly; she could barely withstand the extreme cold of the seabed. Nevertheless, she stubbornly descended several tens of meters, carefully navigating around the turbid currents between the glaciers, walking between a few of the ice masses.
“Ah…”
Linda suddenly covered her mouth, her pretty face filled with sheer terror and disbelief as she stared motionlessly at the largest glacier.
The ice was crystal clear, perfectly visible.
Within the largest glacier, there was a faintly discernible, somewhat indistinct figure. It was a man, entirely naked, enveloped in icy energy. His features were unclear, appearing like an ice sculpture sealed for who knew how many years, hidden within the massive glacier.
Linda’s breath hitched. She hastily leaped from the water and ascended to the boat, her delicate body shivering, her expression vacant.
Her clothes were soaked, revealing the
