The Lord of Fear suddenly erupted in black light, and the exceedingly long demonic blade in his hand shone with a dazzling gleam, actually beginning to absorb that black light. Ye Jingyu felt an ever-strengthening blade aura coalescing.

The Lord of Greed also roared aloud, his body shaking as he transformed into a colossal rat, one easily tens of thousands of zhang in size. He opened his massive maw and lunged to devour Ye Jingyu.

Seeing a mouth large enough to swallow a mountain, Ye Jingyu’s brows drew tightly together. Although his physical body meant he needn't fear being swallowed by Greed, the mere thought of being consumed inside a rat’s belly made his stomach churn.

He prepared to leave, but suddenly found the space around him frozen solid; even with his strength, he could barely move, forced to let Greed’s immense jaws close upon him.

The Lords of Greed and Fear both wore triumphant smiles. What seemed like a desperate struggle was actually them simultaneously unleashing their World Power. These two streams of World Power directly compressed the true space, forming an absolutely solidified domain. No matter how powerful Ye Jingyu was, breaking such a space was impossible unless he could instantly slay both of them.

They had both broken free from the shackles of the Heavenly Dao; they were not beings so easily dispatched.

Sensing the solidified space, Ye Jingyu instantly understood. They were all players outside the normal rules. With his current strength, he truly could not shatter it—or at least, not in a short time. But how could he just stand there and be swallowed by the Demon of Greed?

“Let you witness a divine power I’ve newly mastered: Reversal of Time…” A cold laugh escaped Ye Jingyu’s lips. Immediately, his Eye of Samsara swept out, and a crimson-gold light flared. Those two invisible strands of World Power vanished rapidly. The Demon of Greed’s body shrank swiftly, soon returning to its previous form. The black light emanating from the Lord of Fear began to retreat just as quickly into his core. The entire scene was bizarre, looking exactly like a film being rewound...

Reversal of Time...

Reversal of Time—the most difficult of the Time Rules to grasp. He had actually mastered the hardest one? The look of utter horror on the faces of the Lords of Fear and Greed was intense. They never imagined Ye Jingyu possessed such a divine technique, one that nearly defied the heavens.

With this single ability, he could constantly alter outcomes. Imagine: you plunge your blade deep into his heart, and then he suddenly invokes Reversal of Time—wouldn’t everything revert to the moment before the stab? How could he ever be killed?

What they failed to realize was that although Ye Jingyu had grasped this heaven-defying technique, wielding it—this seemingly simple power—drained him catastrophically. Even his current body struggled to bear the consumption. He had only reversed a fraction of time, yet white hairs had already appeared on his temples. If he used it as the Lords of Greed and Fear imagined, endlessly, he would be drained into a dried husk without any external aid.

However, the two Lords were clearly unaware of this. When they felt time genuinely flow backward, their eyes filled with shock, momentarily forgetting to press their attack.

Ye Jingyu knew he couldn't use Time Reversal indefinitely, but this single instance was enough. Taking advantage of the lords’ stupefaction, his body shot forward, crossing the distance to the Lord of Fear in a single step. He clenched his fist and hammered it directly toward the Fear Lord’s heart...

The Lord of Fear’s face turned ashen. Facing that terrifying punch, he could only swing his long blade across. With that single slash, Ye Jingyu’s seemingly monstrous punch was shattered, and his very image was cleaved in two.

The Lord of Fear gasped, knowing it was merely Ye Jingyu’s afterimage. Worried about an attack from behind, he spun around and slashed, but there was nothing behind him.

Instead, the figure he had cut in half suddenly merged back together. The fist that had been shattered instantly solidified, slamming into the back of the Lord of Fear’s heart.

With a deafening BOOM, like a nuclear warhead detonating on his back, the Lord of Fear’s seemingly unbreakable scales were easily pierced. He then felt an irresistible force exploding within his body.

The Lord of Greed in the distance, along with Yuan, who had yet to act, watched the scene unfold in stunned silence. What kind of martial art was that? How could it be so terrifying? He clearly shattered an illusion, yet why did that illusion suddenly become solid?

How was that possible? How could his speed be so immense?

“How do you like my technique, the Void-Shattering Fist?” Ye Jingyu chuckled softly, extending his right hand towards the top of the Lord of Fear’s skull.

With a gaping hole blown through his heart, the Lord of Fear was terrified. Ignoring the need to mend his wound, he dodged sideways at full speed. Ye Jingyu’s moves were too bizarre, leaving him utterly defenseless.

“Trying to run? Do you think you can escape now?” Ye Jingyu’s voice carried a tone of utter nonchalance. He then reached out a hand toward the void and grasped it. That section of space shattered directly, like tearing apart a painted scroll. The figures in the painting were naturally shredded, but since the Lord of Fear had broken free of the Heavenly Dao, he was no longer a mere figure in a painting. Still, facing the power that tore apart the void, bursts of bloody mist erupted from his body...

Even now, he could not comprehend how he had sustained such grievous injuries.

It was at this moment that Yuan, who had remained inactive, finally moved. The Abi Sword and Yuantu Sword transformed into twin streaks of blood-light and shot toward Ye Jingyu. The twenty-four Sea God Pearls above his head transformed into twenty layered Heavenly Worlds, pressing down upon Ye Jingyu layer by layer...

Sensing the terrifying nature of the World Power, the lunar wheel on Ye Jingyu’s forehead straightened, shooting out a silver ray. From the lowest layer of the Worlds, a man about ten zhang tall emerged, sporting thick brows and massive eyes, with an extremely ugly appearance. In his hand, he held a Dharma Wheel, which he brought crashing down toward Ye Jingyu...

This figure was Yama, the King of Hell, ranked lowest among the Twenty-Four Heavens...
