The Star-City had just lifted the military blockade on the member nations of the New International Alliance, eliminating their last armed forces, the European Joint Fleet, plunging the world into chaos and bloodshed.

However, what the world did not foresee was that an even greater slaughter was imminent, a carnage far surpassing the destruction wrought by the super-laser cannon on Earth, destined to claim even more lives.

Although the military capabilities of all New International Alliance member nations had been neutralized, resulting in tens of millions of deaths, Liu Hui’s rage remained undiminished. In his heart, there was only one thought: revenge for Hu Xian’er. He intended to make those nations pay in blood for the foolish act of attacking her.

After disabling these nations' military strength, Liu Hui halted the deployment of the Star-City’s armed forces. His next objective was to use Xiao Hei to carry out massacres in those countries; he felt this was the only true way to avenge Hu Xian’er.

After obliterating the entire Pacific Rim Joint Fleet, Xiao Hei, under Liu Hui’s control, began to advance rapidly toward the northwest. The creature sped across the sea, reaching the waters near Japan in just two hours.

Xiao Hei spotted the Japanese mainland, adjusted its course, and began swimming north toward Tokyo. Soon, Xiao Hei entered Tokyo Bay and came ashore at the city's harbor.

Some Japanese workers at the port suddenly noticed the sea level in Tokyo Bay rising sharply, followed by the appearance of a colossal dragon’s head cresting the waves. Then came the massive serpentine body and thick claws beneath the head, until a Chinese Divine Dragon, spanning several hundred meters in length, fully revealed itself.

As soon as Xiao Hei climbed onto land, it opened its immense jaws and roared toward the sky. The resulting sonic wave shattered most of the glass in the Tokyo port area.

“What is that thing? Could it be Godzilla?” A person who grew up watching Godzilla films felt a strange surge of excitement upon first seeing Xiao Hei, finally beholding a legendary monster. Other Japanese felt a similar thrill.

But Xiao Hei’s subsequent actions quickly turned curiosity into terror. After rapidly scrambling ashore, Xiao Hei struck once, demolishing a port building. Then, with several powerful Dragon Tail Swings, shipping containers piled on the wharf were sent flying, striking and killing a few stunned bystanders.

“Run! Godzilla is here!” The remaining Japanese finally reacted, shouting hysterically and scattering in all directions.

Xiao Hei, however, paid no heed to these humans, who were no larger than ants in its eyes. It locked onto the port facilities, tearing and smashing until the fully equipped harbor was instantly destroyed.

Having devastated the Tokyo port, Xiao Hei shifted its focus, moving toward the city center. Having spent most of its existence in the ocean, Xiao Hei felt somewhat disoriented on land at first. But within minutes, it fully adapted to running across the terrain.

There was still some distance between the Tokyo port and the urban core, but this posed no obstacle for Xiao Hei. It followed a highway, crawling rapidly toward the city, causing widespread destruction along the way, obliterating every structure blocking its path. Overpasses, skyscrapers, cars traveling on the highway, and power lines were all demolished under Xiao Hei’s rampage. Everywhere the creature passed became a ruin, and countless Japanese who failed to escape the collapsing buildings and vehicles were killed.

The Japanese possess a peculiar tendency toward being victimized; they produced countless Godzilla movies in which this monster repeatedly destroyed Japanese cities, illustrating their peculiar fascination with massive beasts. Yet, these Japanese never imagined they would truly encounter a monster today. This creature was wreaking havoc on Tokyo just like in their films, but unlike the movies, there were no other monsters or superheroes in reality to rescue them from the abyss of destruction. For since Xiao Hei surfaced in Tokyo Bay, the doom of Japan’s largest city was sealed.

Xiao Hei moved swiftly across the ground; even crawling, its height exceeded a meter, resembling a colossal tank. It quickly entered the Tokyo metropolitan area and began charging through the city, nothing able to halt its advance.

The citizens on the ground had long spotted Xiao Hei charging toward them. They froze momentarily, then were paralyzed with terror by the beast's frenzy. In central Tokyo, skyscrapers collapsed like paper boxes with a single impact, leaving those inside with no hope of escape. Realizing the danger, the Japanese immediately scattered, fleeing for their lives. But Xiao Hei’s speed was tremendous; even at a full sprint, they could not outrun its destructive velocity. Some panicked individuals even ran directly into Xiao Hei’s path, only to be crushed by falling debris from buildings the beast had already wrecked.

Xiao Hei’s speed was astonishing. From landing in Tokyo to penetrating the urban core, causing massive destruction along the way, less than five minutes had passed. The entire city of Tokyo barely had time to react. Coupled with the earlier attack by the Star-City’s super-laser cannon on Japanese military bases, Japan had already lost the bulk of its armed forces, leaving them utterly defenseless against the gargantuan Xiao Hei. Only a few police officers drew their sidearms and fired a few futile shots at the beast. These meager efforts not only failed to harm Xiao Hei but instead enraged it, leading it to devour the officers who dared to shoot at it.

Controlling Xiao Hei, Liu Hui unleashed the fury burning in his heart across Tokyo. He spotted the Tokyo Tower; a simple Dragon Tail Swing reduced the city’s landmark to a pile of twisted scrap metal. Then he targeted the Imperial Palace, charging straight through it. As its massive body scraped over the palace grounds, the entire complex was instantly reduced to rubble, and the Japanese Imperial family members who couldn't flee vanished completely. Next, Liu Hui focused on the infamous Yasukuni Shrine; Xiao Hei tore and bit at it, utterly obliterating this symbol of Japanese pride in moments.

Just then, a high-speed Shinkansen bullet train approached. Xiao Hei charged forward and slammed into the side of the train, sending the high-speed rail car flying. It crashed into the urban area, sliding across the ground for over ten kilometers before finally stopping, causing immense casualties among nearby Tokyo citizens.

Thus, Xiao Hei rampaged through Tokyo, destroying everything in its path. Later, police helicopters appeared in the sky, using their mounted weapons to attack Xiao Hei. The dragon simply swiped a claw and annihilated one of the helicopters. Never mind these underpowered helicopters; even if Japan’s military were still intact, they could not have posed any threat to Xiao Hei. At this point, no one could stop Xiao Hei’s devastation.

Controlling the beast, Liu Hui relentlessly destroyed central Tokyo. The Japanese killed in its wake generated no flicker of guilt in him. In Liu Hui’s mind, the entire population of Japan was worth less than the life of a single Hu Xian’er.

Only after Xiao Hei had knocked down the final skyscraper did it become apparent that every high-rise in Tokyo had been annihilated. Behind it, the city was shrouded in thick smoke; there was no building taller than three stories remaining. As far as the eye could see, there were only collapsed structures and ruined streets—a tragic scene of an apocalypse unfolding, with Tokyo citizens running and screaming everywhere.

Under Xiao Hei’s savage destruction, this largest and most prosperous Japanese city, home to over twenty million permanent residents, was utterly ruined. Some fifty thousand people lost their lives forever in the dragon’s attack, with countless others injured, not to mention the staggering economic losses. The Japanese had finally paid a heavy price for their government’s folly—a price they could never hope to absorb.

Once Liu Hui determined that the entirety of Tokyo held no further value for destruction, he ordered a change of battlefield. He directed Xiao Hei to sprint toward the southwest of Tokyo. Its speed crawling on land even reached twice the speed of sound, no slower than its pace in the sea.

Xiao Hei began advancing along the route taking in Yokohama, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Kobe, and Hiroshima. Along the way, Xiao Hei charged indiscriminately, demolishing all high-rise buildings in its path and conducting widespread destruction across every city it passed.

Although these cities had received warnings about Xiao Hei’s assault on Tokyo, and some people managed to flee the urban centers, massive casualties still occurred under the beast’s brutal methods.

What pained the Japanese more than the loss of life was the complete destruction of their most vital economic cluster. The massive factories they had built there were annihilated, and the economic achievements they labored decades to construct were wiped out, rendered unrecoverable. They had permanently lost the foundation required to be an economic superpower.

Xiao Hei raced southwest from Tokyo, devastating the very heartland of Japan, before reaching the sea once more. Its current location was the Tsushima Strait, and across the strait lay South Korea.

Liu Hui had not forgotten the involvement of South Koreans in the aggression against his nation; thus, South Korea was also marked for his vengeful reckoning.

After wreaking havoc across the Japanese archipelago, leaving ruins and corpses in its wake, Xiao Hei entered the sea and sped toward South Korea. Thirty minutes later, Xiao Hei landed in Busan, South Korea.

South Korea had already been alerted to the presence of a massive monster causing widespread destruction and immense casualties in Japanese cities. Gazing across the sea from Japan, they immediately recognized the danger and began evacuating their urban populations. However, the time window was extremely short, making a complete evacuation impossible.

Consequently, when Xiao Hei landed in Busan, a significant number of civilians remained in the city. Under the beast’s relentless assault, Busan quickly turned into a wasteland. Fewer than three-story buildings survived, and the dead and wounded were counted in the hundreds of thousands.

Xiao Hei destroyed the entire city of Busan in under five minutes before rapidly heading northwest toward Daegu. Thanks to the slightly longer warning period, many Daegu citizens had evacuated, but as Xiao Hei ravaged the city, a substantial number of residents were annihilated along with Daegu itself.

As Xiao Hei reduced Daegu to rubble, the sky darkened, signaling the arrival of night. After several hours of continuous destruction, Xiao Hei showed no fatigue; rather, its fighting spirit soared.

Under Liu Hui’s control, it continued its rampage toward the next South Korean city.

An hour later, Xiao Hei passed sequentially through Daejeon, Cheongju, and Suwon before finally reaching South Korea’s capital, Seoul. Behind Xiao Hei, Daejeon, Cheongju, and Suwon were utter messes, completely reduced to ruins.

While Xiao Hei was still en route, Seoul had been notified of the monster’s approach and hastily organized civilian evacuations. Unfortunately, with a population exceeding fifteen million, it was impossible to evacuate everyone in such a short span.

Thus, when Xiao Hei began its destructive onslaught on Seoul, half of the Korean population remained within the city, often gathered together waiting for evacuation vehicles. This high concentration of people led to even greater casualties when Xiao Hei commenced its rampage. In the end, the death toll in Seoul proved even more horrific than in Tokyo.

When Xiao Hei departed Seoul, the entire city had become a living hell.

The once-bustling Seoul was choked with smoke, engulfed by raging fires; the city was finished. All surviving Koreans cursed the Chinese Divine Dragon that had emerged from nowhere, unaware that this terror was the direct, vengeful consequence of their own government’s failures.

Having eliminated Japan and South Korea’s capitals, Liu Hui’s thirst for vengeance was not yet quenched. He directed Xiao Hei to crawl eastward from the ruins of Seoul, entering the Sea of Japan from South Korea’s east coast, and proceeding northwest.

Like Japan, South Korea suffered the destruction of its most vital urban centers during Liu Hui’s retaliation, losing tens of millions of lives and over 50% of its industrial capacity, leading to an irreversible decline.

Xiao Hei entered the Sea of Japan; its next target was Russia to the northwest. Liu Hui had not forgotten this nation, the second strongest within the New International Alliance, and his first objective for Russia was Vladivostok.

An hour later, Xiao Hei emerged from the Sea of Japan near Vladivostok and formally landed, commencing a furious destruction of this most important Russian city in the Far East. Although Russia was once a global superpower and Vladivostok a critical military base, after the Star-City’s super-laser cannon eliminated all their military assets, they had no defense against Xiao Hei.

Moreover, Russia had gravely miscalculated Xiao Hei’s attack vector. Unaware of the creature’s true nature, they anticipated it would strike China after attacking South Korea, thus failing to evacuate their city populations. As a result, after an extensive night of devastation, not only was Vladivostok completely destroyed, but the city suffered a casualty rate soaring to 80%.

As Xiao Hei left Vladivostok and continued northward, the city became a ghost town. Tirelessly, the dragon crawled on, soon reaching the northern Russian cities of Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk. Xiao Hei maintained its terrifying destructive power, and after its rampage, these cities also turned into ruins. Unlike Vladivostok, however, the citizens in these areas had received warnings and managed to flee to the outskirts, avoiding a casualty rate as catastrophic as Vladivostok’s.

On the Star-City, everyone watched the live broadcast from the orbital space station, observing Xiao Hei’s savage destruction of cities in Japan, South Korea, and Russia, and witnessing the massive civilian casualties.

Initially, when they saw Xiao Hei slaughtering Tokyo’s citizens, some felt a grim satisfaction. But as the massacre continued along its path, they grew increasingly horrified. The sheer bloodshed of Xiao Hei’s progress was overwhelming.

By their estimates, Xiao Hei had caused at least ten million deaths, permanently obliterating over ten human cities with populations exceeding one hundred thousand.

They watched the silent Liu Hui, unsure of the exact connection between him and Xiao Hei, yet certain that the dragon was executing the slaughter order issued by Liu Hui. As they watched Xiao Hei ruthlessly massacre the people of these nations, their hearts struggled; they wanted to intercede. But seeing Liu Hui’s impassive face before the atrocities displayed on the screens, they abandoned the thought, understanding the irreplaceable weight of Hu Xian’er in his heart.

King Yue could not restrain himself and asked, “Mayor, are you controlling this dragon?”

Liu Hui replied, “Why wouldn’t I be? I am indeed controlling it.”

King Yue pressed, “We already neutralized the military forces of these nations during the day, resulting in tens of millions of deaths. Those people were all connected to the military; they deserved their fate. But the people in these cities now—they are all civilians, they are innocent…”

Liu Hui responded coldly, “Old Fourth, do you think they are innocent?”

King Yue insisted, “Yes, they are innocent. Our revenge should target their governments directly; why attack the ordinary people?”

Liu Hui sneered, “Their government? Were they not elected by these ordinary people? Therefore, these ordinary people must be held accountable for the actions of the government they chose. Besides, do you imagine that if everyone else in the world dies, my Xian’er will be resurrected?”

Zhou Tengyun interjected persuasively, “Boss, even if Xian’er were alive, I doubt she would want to see you kill so many people. You will surely regret taking so many lives, living forever in guilt…”

Liu Hui stated, “It doesn’t matter. Without Xian’er, my life has lost all meaning. Once this matter is concluded, I will leave the Star-City, and I will leave Earth forever…”

De Sheng was greatly shocked and exclaimed, “Boss, no! You cannot leave the Star-City! You are our leader; we cannot do without you. Moreover, no matter how many people you kill, we will always stand by you; we will support you forever…”

King Yue and Zhou Tengyun were equally stunned. They spoke together, “No! If you leave now… the Star-City, this hard-won ideal home will crumble!”

Liu Hui said calmly, “Before, I thought my ideal lay within the Star-City. But when Xian’er left me, I realized that the most precious thing in my life was the person I loved. With Xian’er gone, I have lost the will to live…”

Just as Zhou Tengyun, King Yue, and De Sheng were about to plead further, Liu Hui stated, “I am tired. I want to be alone here for a while. You may leave!”

The three reluctantly had no choice but to exit the room for the time being.

Under Liu Hui's control, Little Black began its rapid advance westward along the Trans-Siberian Railway, relentlessly ravaging the railway corridor, even crushing more than ten passing trains into mere metal pancakes. Along the way, cities such as Chita, Ulan-Ude, and Irkutsk, which the Far Eastern Railway passed through, were all utterly destroyed.

Having lost their armies and weaponry, the once formidable Russia was utterly helpless against the frenzied Little Black. They could only watch as it devastated their cities and slaughtered their own citizens. The only recourse left to them was to evacuate as many civilians as possible, hoping they could escape with their lives under Little Black's onslaught.

By this time, Liu Hui had grown numb to the carnage. Under the claws of the Little Black he commanded, human life had become utterly meaningless to him; he killed without the slightest flicker of guilt.

When Little Black finally reached Kazan, dawn was breaking on the second day. Liu Hui, having controlled the beast to kill all night, felt no fatigue. The pain of losing Hu Xian'er kept his spirit intensely focused; he would not relax until this surge of resentment was fully vented.

By now, the news of a colossal monster appearing in the Far East and rapidly sweeping westward along the Trans-Siberian Railway had spread across the globe. Although all satellites were lost, the human network remained functional, and coupled with the use of some archaic communication devices, the world was made aware of Little Black's rampant destruction.

They did not know that Little Black was connected to the "City of Starlight," but upon analyzing its path of destruction, they correctly surmised that this massive beast must be intimately linked to the "City of Starlight."

Consequently, the rest of the world’s nations grew instantly alarmed. They hadn't even finished dealing with the annihilation of their own domestic military forces before they began evacuating personnel from their cities, terrified that Little Black might suddenly pivot and descend upon their territories in widespread devastation. Among these nations, those that had participated in the attack on the "City of Starlight" as part of the New International Alliance were especially tense.

Little Black’s movements were entirely unaffected by external pressures. Following the Trans-Siberian line, it finally breached European borders, rampaging its way into Moscow.

Upon reaching Moscow, Little Black became exceptionally agitated. Following an earth-shattering period of massive destruction, this historic city of Moscow was reduced entirely to rubble. However, most of Moscow’s citizens had already been evacuated, so while the city was annihilated, major loss of life was averted.

Little Black continued its westward march, exiting Russia into Minsk in Belarus, then Warsaw in Poland, before plunging into Berlin, Germany. From there, it swept south along Frankfurt, passed Munich, vaulted over the Alps into Italy, and after obliterating Rome, moved into Switzerland. Using Switzerland as a transit point, it reached Paris, France. After turning these nations' cities into ruins, Little Black prepared once more to cross the sea.

This time, Little Black’s target was the English Channel. It swiftly crossed beneath the waves and began its landing in Britain, proceeding to devastate everything along the path through London, Liverpool, and Glasgow. It then plunged back into the sea, entering the Atlantic Ocean and beginning its swim toward the United States.

At this point, Little Black had been running rampant across the world for two full days. Under the terrifying shadow of Little Black, the entire world was steeped in grief—not only for the staggering casualty count approaching eighty million, but also for the tangible collapse of several years of human societal achievement. Yet, these nations had been utterly disarmed by Liu Hui; all they could do was endure the slaughter inflicted upon their homelands, having no means of retaliation.

When the morning of the third day dawned, Little Black had already traversed the Atlantic and was making landfall on the American continent. It first landed in New York, swiftly obliterating the US financial hub, then struck down the American capital, Washington D.C. It continued its westward trajectory along the line of Chicago and Salt Lake City, finally arriving at the major West Coast metropolis of San Francisco. Wherever Little Black passed, not a single city remained intact; the economic accumulation of the United States over several years was utterly wiped out under the beast's wanton destruction, leaving no possibility of future resurgence.

After Little Black swept across the American continent, throwing the U.S. into utter chaos, it plunged back into the Pacific Ocean. It journeyed ever westward until it reached the Hawaiian archipelago in the Pacific, ruthlessly eradicating that beautiful paradise.

Thus concluded Little Black’s worldwide campaign of destruction, which had lasted for three days and three nights, its path having completed a full circuit around the globe.

Even after such immense slaughter, the rage boiling within Liu Hui had not been fully extinguished. Just as he prepared to command Little Black to turn south toward Australia for further devastation, an unexpected telephone call abruptly shattered his killing spree, pulling the world back from the brink of annihilation.
