With that, Liu Hui pressed a button, and the large container fully opened, revealing a massive water tank within. Submerged and floating in this tank was an enormous black chimpanzee.

"Isn't the 'Professor' supposed to be in here? How can it be a chimpanzee?"

Liu Hui surveyed the somewhat chaotic meeting, then suddenly spoke loudly, "Gentlemen, what you just witnessed is correct: the 'Professor' is indeed a chimpanzee. You will understand once you view the following video segment."

The large screen in the conference room then began playing another video recording, shot inside Warehouse Number One. Although Bina and his group had occupied the warehouse, they failed to discover the hidden surveillance cameras; consequently, everything that transpired within Warehouse Number One was recorded. Liu Hui had later retrieved the video footage from the warehouse and, after editing its contents, produced the segment now being played.

In this video, a group of women and children, including Hu Xian'er, were blurred. The focus remained sharply on the dialogues of the 'Professor' after his true identity as a chimpanzee was exposed.

The heads of state in the room watched the words spoken by the 'Professor' on screen and were utterly stunned. If seeing a chimpanzee carcass moments ago and being told that was the 'Professor' made them suspect deception, watching the 'Professor's' confession in the video instantly convinced them the creature was indeed the chimpanzee—though this utterly surpassed the limits of their imagination.

When the video concluded, Liu Hui spoke again, "Gentlemen, as you have just seen, the 'Professor' is the great ape before you. The 'Professor' threatened me as he was dying, claiming his laboratories, scattered across the globe, hold numerous such super-chimpanzees and the gene virus capable of rapid death. Whether the super-chimpanzees still exist, I cannot confirm, but the gene virus has been verified by us: it is indeed engineered against humankind and is extremely lethal. As Liu Hui finished, the conference room doors opened once more, and five medical experts entered. These experts included specialists from 'Star City' as well as renowned specialists from other nations, all highly famous in the medical field. Most of the heads of state present recognized them; their professional credibility was beyond doubt.

The five medical experts stood before the massive screen, offering brief self-introductions, after which a trial video began to play. They started their explanation by referencing the video content.

"Through our scientific investigation, we have discovered that this gene virus, specifically targeting humans, is terrifying. It can rapidly infect our bodies, causing widespread systemic ulceration. This deterioration will continuously worsen, leading to the death of all infected patients within two months. Moreover, this virus is highly contagious, spreading through air, water sources, physical contact, and insects."

"Once infected with this gene virus, it signifies the doomsday for all humanity, as we currently possess no medication capable of treating it."

After these five experts detailed the hazards of the gene virus using their specialized knowledge, the world's heads of state immediately grasped the gravity of the situation.

Liu Hui dismissed the experts and then addressed the room. "Gentlemen, we have shared all the information we possess regarding the 'Professor.' By this point, the heads of state understood the true agenda of this Round Table meeting. They had not anticipated the situation to be this dire. Human society had just endured the baptism of a super-tsunami, and now it faced the ultimate threat from the alien entity known as the 'Professor.'

"Mayor Liu, how can you prove that what you just stated is true?" the President of the United States inquired.

Liu Hui shrugged. "We have told you everything we know, and we are not preparing to prove its veracity, because the threat from this 'Professor' is real. If you choose not to believe me, there is nothing I can do. I will state one thing clearly: we at 'Star City' absolutely do not house any of the 'Professor's' laboratories, so his gene virus cannot propagate among us. The 'Professor' poses no threat to us whatsoever. My sole reason for gathering you is to fulfill our responsibility to human society."

Liu Hui’s words were blunt: I have delivered the news; believe it or not, it holds no adverse consequences for us. I am merely extending a well-intentioned warning.

Luo Tianmin of Huaxia said, "Mayor Liu, you have uncovered the astonishing conspiracy the 'Professor' plotted against humanity and have convened this Round Table meeting here in 'Star City.' Therefore, you must have a method to deal with the threats left behind by the 'Professor,' is that correct?"

Liu Hui responded, "We are currently studying the structure of the gene virus left by the 'Professor' and have gained some understanding of the cause of its lethality. We expect to be able to develop a cure soon; I believe the pharmaceutical capabilities of 'Star City' are fully capable of achieving this."

"So, even if this gene virus breaks out, we can ensure our own protection. However, the critical issue now is that we do not know precisely when we can synthesize this medication. And while the 'Professor' is dead, his headquarters and those laboratories remain undiscovered. No one knows when those chimpanzees and the gene virus might be propagated. The President of Russia remarked, "Mayor Liu's proposal is good. So, how should this intelligence be shared?"

Liu Hui stated, "I propose establishing an entirely new alliance to manage this viral crisis, spearheaded by 'Star City.' The nations and territories present should jointly form an Earth Alliance to tackle this virus. Furthermore, even after the virus crisis, we can utilize this Earth Alliance to resolve disputes and conflicts on Earth."

The U.S. President frowned. "Are the United Nations not currently in existence? Why not submit this issue for discussion at the UN General Assembly instead of creating some new Earth Alliance?"

Liu Hui gave a cold laugh. "We all know the United Nations is merely a joke, having long degraded into a private organization for a few powerful nations, unable to represent the will of all countries globally. Therefore, the Earth Alliance we establish now is not only for responding to the 'Professor's' viral crisis but also for upholding fairness and justice across the world and achieving global peace."

The British Prime Minister said, "I do not approve of establishing a new Earth Alliance. It is debatable whether this 'Professor' business is even true. Introducing a new Earth Alliance could certainly destabilize the existing world order."

The Prime Minister quickly followed, stating, "We also do not support the formation of an Earth Alliance; we prefer this matter be resolved within the framework of the United Nations."

Liu Hui smiled. "Whether the Earth Alliance is formed or not is inconsequential to me; I am merely acting in your best interest. If you are unwilling, there is nothing more to be done. The main purpose of this meeting was to inform you of the 'Professor's' situation, which has now been done. You are free to leave."

The Western nations, led by the U.S., were naturally unwilling to let 'Star City' take the lead role in this viral crisis, let alone establish a so-called Earth Alliance to gain greater international standing. Consequently, they collectively opposed 'Star City's' suggestion. However, they hadn't expected Liu Hui to be so nonchalant about the organization’s formation, even beginning to issue dismissals.

Just then, Desheng entered and whispered a few words into Liu Hui's ear. Liu Hui's expression instantly turned grave. He announced, "Gentlemen, we have just received the latest intelligence: in Pittsburgh, USA, an immeasurably huge chimpanzee has just appeared and is currently wreaking havoc in the city, causing massive casualties and property damage. You may view the latest satellite imagery we have received."

Liu Hui finished speaking, and Desheng manipulated the computer. Satellite images of Pittsburgh immediately appeared on the conference room screen. The view rapidly zoomed in, and everyone could discern thick plumes of smoke billowing over Pittsburgh, the city a scene of utter devastation. As the satellite video zoomed further, they saw a super-chimpanzee, standing over a hundred meters tall, rampaging through the urban landscape.

Seeing the super-chimpanzee, exactly as the 'Professor' had described, shocked everyone in the room. The U.S. President, whose nation was under attack, felt his heart leap into his throat.

On the screen, the super-chimpanzee was covered in gore, its body appearing extremely asymmetrical, having clearly descended into madness. It sprinted through the city; with every collision against a skyscraper, the building instantly collapsed. Its destructive power was astonishing; in mere moments, it had demolished over a dozen high-rises. The ensuing collapse of these structures caused catastrophic civilian casualties below. At once, citizens fled everywhere—a true scene of earthly hell.

Liu Hui immediately noticed the difference between this ape and the one previously seen in Star City. That earlier chimpanzee was structurally intact and seemingly controllable; this current one was mutilated and behaving crazily, suggesting the 'Professor's' genetic technology was still flawed. This rampaging ape was undoubtedly a defective product, not only uncontrollable but inherently flawed.

Seeing the immense upheaval in America, Liu Hui issued an order: "Cancel the electromagnetic lockdown on the meeting room."

The room's electromagnetic field was disabled, and the U.S. President's phone immediately rang. Upon answering and hearing the situation report, his face went ashen. The message from his homeland confirmed the super-chimpanzee in Pittsburgh was real, and the video onscreen was not a fabrication by 'Star City'; America was truly under attack by a super-ape. He had just doubted the credibility of the 'Professor' affair, and now such a massive event was unfolding right before his eyes.

The U.S. President yelled into the phone, "Deploy our military immediately! We must take down this maniacal ape; it cannot be allowed to continue destroying the city!" The U.S. homeland security immediately moved to execute the President's orders.

Liu Hui watched the ape destroy half the city structures on screen and remarked, "The situation is deteriorating. It seems the time set by the 'Professor' has arrived, which is why this chimpanzee escaped the laboratory and began its frenzied destruction of human cities."

Everyone anxiously watched the screen displaying Pittsburgh. After the ape had demolished nearly half the city's architecture, three U.S. fighter jets finally arrived overhead. They began launching missile attacks against the massive ape. Unfortunately, though the missiles struck the chimpanzee, they failed to inflict fatal damage; they only paused its rampage. This action only served to incite the ape's ferocity. Unable to attack the jets above, it began to destroy the city below with even greater frenzy.

Soon, the fighter jets expended all their missiles, and the chimpanzee grew even more violent, continuing its savage destruction. Seeing that the jets were ineffective, Liu Hui decisively commanded, "Activate the laser weapon. Eliminate that chimpanzee."

Under the expectant gazes of all present, after only a ten-second delay, a high-energy laser beam shot down from outer space. This beam struck the chimpanzee, and the immense energy instantly sliced the creature in half, finally killing it and halting the destruction in downtown Pittsburgh.

Only then did the heads of state, including the U.S. President, exhale in relief, but this relief was immediately replaced by terror.

Their fear stemmed not only from the destructive power of the super-chimpanzee created by the 'Professor' but also from the immense offensive capability of 'Star City.' The laser that descended from the sky must have been fired by 'Star City' from outer space. They had no idea when 'Star City' had installed such a weapon system in orbit. Judging by the destructive force displayed, 'Star City's' laser weaponry was overwhelmingly powerful. Considering this, the heads of state in the room were deeply shaken. They had harbored some ambition to eventually rival 'Star City,' but after witnessing the power of its laser weapon, all thoughts of challenging 'Star City' vanished instantly. With this Sword of Damocles hanging over their heads, they would never again have the chance to challenge 'Star City,' because any subversive action would mean the instantaneous annihilation of their satellites, aircraft, ground military assets, and even their lives.

When Liu Hui activated the laser weapon aboard the space fortress, his goal was not solely to eliminate the crazed ape and save the city's citizens; it was also a calculated act of establishing authority. Indeed, after witnessing the power of 'Star City's' laser weaponry, the attitude of the leaders in the chamber changed dramatically.

Liu Hui stated, "Although we destroyed this chimpanzee, because it escaped from the 'Professor's' laboratory, I suspect it might be carrying that lethal gene virus. If my suspicion is correct, then this deadly contagion should already be spreading."

The U.S. President looked somewhat panicked. "What should we do now?"

Liu Hui replied, "What else can we do? We must immediately quarantine the city of Pittsburgh, prohibiting anyone from entering or leaving, to prevent the possible spread of the virus."

Just then, Liu Hui received another update from the orbital station. He announced, "Gentlemen, I have another unfortunate piece of news to share: we have detected the appearance of super-chimpanzees in two more cities—Nagasaki and Liverpool, in the UK."

As Liu Hui finished speaking, the video on the large screen switched from the ruined streets of Pittsburgh to Nagasaki and Liverpool. In both cities, a partially intact chimpanzee was causing widespread destruction while citizens fled in every direction.
