A contingent of people strode out, the little foxes chattering excitedly about where they would go to eat. Listening to their incessant chirping, Li Yundong felt a knot of worry tighten in his chest.

Where in the world was he supposed to feed this large group? If they went to a restaurant, there were over a dozen people; apart from Zhou Qin and Ziyuan, nearly everyone else had a bottomless stomach. The little foxes, in particular, were truly savagely voracious when it came to eating. Although he currently had eight hundred thousand in hand, he had just paid the rent and would soon need to secure a storefront—money was constantly draining away.

Then again, no amount of money could sustain their eating habits!

As Li Yundong wrestled with this headache, a thought suddenly struck him. He let out a loud laugh: "I have an idea!"

Zhou Qin, standing nearby, inquired curiously, "What idea do you have?"

Li Yundong declared triumphantly, "We're going to an all-you-can-eat buffet!"

Zhou Qin, being sharp as ice and snow, immediately grasped Li Yundong's intention. She covered her mouth to stifle a laugh, but said nothing.

The little girl had never been to a buffet before, and she asked with genuine curiosity, "Yundong, what is a buffet?"

Li Yundong chuckled slyly, "It means everyone can eat whatever they want, as much as they want!"

Su Chan's face immediately lit up, her eyes disappearing entirely: "Really? That's wonderful! The food you cook, Yundong, is delicious, but I never get full every time!"

Li Yundong laughed, "This time, eat until your heart’s content, I won't stop you. But be careful you don't turn into a little fatty; I’ll start finding you repulsive!"

Su Chan giggled sweetly, "No, no, we cultivators definitely don't get fat."

Li Yundong smiled faintly and said nothing. Su Chan turned to explain to the little foxes who were watching her with eager eyes. Upon hearing they could eat as much as they wished, the little foxes erupted in cheers. In their minds, Li Yundong was bringing them to good housing and treating them to the finest food and drink—he was infinitely better than the former Sect Master, Liu Ye.

This time, the cheers of the little girls were utterly heartfelt. They shouted in unison, "Long live the Sect Master! May the Sect Master reign for ten thousand generations!"

Li Yundong roared with laughter, "Long live the buffet! May the buffet reign for ten thousand generations!"

Ziyuan watched from the side, shaking her head with a smile. "Honestly, for a renowned Sect Master, he still messes around like a child!"

Ruan Hongling also laughed and chided, "This man has never been serious a day in his life!"

Their whole group descended like a conquering army upon the "Amazon Buffet Restaurant," situated very close to the commercial street shops. The moment they entered, they instantly captured everyone's attention.

Coincidentally, the restaurant owner was present. As he greedily sized up the beautiful women of varying charms, he rejoiced inwardly: so many beauties coming for the buffet—this was going to be profitable.

Buffet establishments loved beautiful customers because most women were conscious of their figures; this one wouldn't eat much, that one would skip the rich items—in the end, they only consumed a small amount of food, resulting in massive profits for the business owner.

Li Yundong's party found two large tables and settled down. Cao Yi and the others sat with the little foxes at one table, while Li Yundong, Su Chan, Zhou Qin, Ziyuan, and Ruan Hongling took the other.

Upon entering the restaurant, Su Chan’s eyes darted everywhere, as if a thief were casing the joint. As soon as her bottom touched the seat, she pleaded impatiently, "Yundong, I’m starving! Can I go get something to eat?"

Li Yundong laughed and chided, "Quick, wipe your mouth; drool is practically running down your chin!"

Su Chan gasped and quickly wiped the corner of her mouth. Seeing nothing there, she pouted, "You're messing with me! Can I go or not?"

Li Yundong shooed her away like a persistent fly, "Go, go! Look at you—good heavens, have you not eaten in hundreds of years?"

Su Chan grinned, turned, and dashed off. When she passed the table of little foxes, she beckoned them, and the little foxes immediately rose as one, following her in a rush toward the food stations.

Watching their retreating figures, Li Yundong turned back, shaking his head with a smile. "I truly don't know what to do with them. Sigh, I wonder how the former Sect Master managed them."

Ziyuan sipped her tea slowly and said meaningfully, "It’s easy to come down the mountain, but hard to climb back up! Li Yundong, now that you’ve brought them down, you have to bear the consequences of the trouble they stir up once they are down here."

Li Yundong offered a wry smile. "Can you stop trying to scare me? I’m with them every second; what kind of trouble could possibly arise?"

Zhou Qin suddenly spoke up, "Master, I suddenly have a bad feeling about this."

Li Yundong asked, puzzled, "What bad feeling?"

Zhou Qin, seated opposite him, looked oddly serious. "Master, do you remember when Su Chan stacked a pagoda during my birthday banquet?"

Li Yundong chuckled, "Of course I remember. Last time that little girl, she..."

Before Li Yundong finished speaking, his expression abruptly changed. "You don't mean she’s stacking a pagoda right now! Damn it, how could I forget about this?"

Zhou Qin’s face was strange. "See for yourself!"

Li Yundong quickly turned his head, and at the sight, he sucked in a sharp breath.

There was Su Chan, holding two large platters, each topped with a towering pagoda constructed entirely of piled-up food. She wasn't exactly petite, but in contrast to these two platters, she appeared frighteningly small and delicate. What was even more shocking was that behind her, every single little fox was also holding a platter with a pagoda balanced precariously on top.

As they made their way, the pagodas swayed violently, but whenever they threatened to topple, the foxes would twist their waists like acrobats and steady them again.

Everyone in the buffet—from the owner to the staff to the guests—watched them with slack jaws.

Su Chan slammed the two platter-pagodas onto Li Yundong's table with a thud, then turned to exchange tips on pagoda-stacking techniques with the little foxes. As they spoke, they turned again to head toward the serving area for more food.

The restaurant owner’s legs felt weak, sweat beaded on his back, and his eyeballs nearly popped out.

The waiters and customers stared at Su Chan and the little foxes as if they were extraterrestrial visitors. Some guests were furiously snapping photos with their cell phones.

Li Yundong stared blankly at the pagodas, which stood almost as tall as a person. He thought, Good heavens, this is truly the Eighth Wonder of the World in human architectural history! How did they build this?

Zhou Qin covered one side of her face with her hand, shame coloring her expression. "Master, I feel so embarrassed..."

Ziyuan also turned her head toward the window, deliberately pretending not to know them, and whispered in a low voice, "Li Yundong, you’re a Sect Master now. If this kind of thing gets out, won’t you be laughed to death for the rest of your life?"

Ruan Hongling gaped, dumbfounded, as the little foxes began stacking a second pagoda. She felt as if she were the one stacking the pagoda in full public view; her ears burned with shame, and she wished she could find a crack in the floor to crawl into. She lamented, "Heavens, why am I associated with this bunch? It's humiliating!"

Only then did Li Yundong snap back to reality. Furious, he lunged toward the dining area, snatched the plate of food from Su Chan's hands, then tucked her entirely under his arm, carrying her out as if she were a rolled-up mat.

Su Chan was shocked and struggled, shouting loudly, "I haven't eaten yet! Put me down, I haven't eaten anything!"

Li Yundong couldn't help but curse, "Eat your head! Doing all this at once—aren't you embarrassed?"

Su Chan cried out as if she had been deeply wronged, "You’re the one who said I could eat as much as I wanted!"

Before the two could exit, Su Chan’s loud, clear cry drew everyone's gaze to Li Yundong. Although Li Yundong possessed firm resolve and a face as thick as city walls, he felt his cheeks burn as if they were on fire. He shot Su Chan a glare and angrily retorted, "Still talking! Couldn't you have gone a few more times? Didn't I tell you last time not to stack pagodas!"

With that, he shouted to Zhou Qin, "Zhou Qin, pay the bill!"

Zhou Qin responded, quickly lowered her head, rushed to the counter, paid, and then rushed back, head still down.

Su Chan struggled in Li Yundong's embrace, yelling, "You're just paying the bill? I haven't eaten even a little bit! At least let me pack some to go!"

Li Yundong was so angry he almost laughed. "Pack it? I'll pack your head until it's full of bumps!" He snapped his fingers on Su Chan's forehead, then slapped her round backside, commanding, "Stand still!"

Su Chan cried out, clutching her forehead with one hand and her rear with the other. Pouting, her face filled with grievance, she mumbled, "Hmph, you’re mean! You lied to me!" Tears welled up in her eyes, threatening to spill over.

Li Yundong laughed and scolded, "Stop acting pitiful! I'll take you somewhere else to eat in a bit! We can't embarrass ourselves here anymore! Do you think things are still like before? If we cause trouble now, it won't just be my face getting lost; you'll disgrace the entire Fox Zen Sect!"

By now, Cao Yi and the others had also emerged. The three Martial Uncles nodded in agreement, saying, "The Sect Master is right," and then went to lecture the little foxes.

Seeing that their group was completely blocking the restaurant entrance, attracting many onlookers craning their necks to see, Li Yundong said, "Alright, alright, let's move to another place to talk."

The entire party left the restaurant. Li Yundong felt a tightness in his chest realizing they had wasted several hundred yuan without eating a single bite.

Zhou Qin, observing his mood, tentatively suggested, "Master, I know a good place in the nearby mall; shall we go there to eat?"

Li Yundong sighed, "Fine, do as you say. You are, after all, the more reliable one." As he spoke, he glared at Su Chan again.

Su Chan made a face at Li Yundong, muttering with deep resentment, "You break your word, you liar!"

Li Yundong chuckled, "Oh, is that so? Then when we order food later, you just sit there and watch, don't order anything."

Su Chan certainly wouldn't accept that. The moment she heard there would be food, all her previous unhappiness vanished into thin air. She immediately threw herself in front of Li Yundong, tugging at his arm, and said sweetly, "My lord, don't hold a grudge against a little girl! You are the best!"

Li Yundong hummed twice. "That depends on your performance!" With that, he winked conspiratorially at Su Chan, in a tone only the two of them could understand, "Especially your performance when we get home!"

Su Chan’s cheeks flushed crimson. She pouted, "Nasty! You’re blackmailing me! I’m ignoring you!"

As the two bantered flirtatiously, Ruan Hongling coughed dryly and remarked with sarcastic drawl, "Hello? There’s a whole crowd of us waiting for you here."

Li Yundong never imagined that simply going out for a buffet would cause so much commotion. He laughed awkwardly and said, "Let’s go, let’s go! Time for the young ladies to get their dinner!" He then instructed Zhou Qin, "You lead the way, girl."
