It had been several months since Anqi returned to... Starry Sky City, and Liu Hui was expertly navigating between her and Hu Xian'er, maintaining a delicate balance between the two women. Neither woman seemed to object to the arrangement; they appeared to have tacitly accepted this lifestyle, allowing Liu Hui a taste of polygamous bliss.

One evening, after dinner, Liu Hui and Hu Xian'er strolled hand-in-hand through a nearby park. They cherished this time alone, as it helped deepen their bond and mend the rift caused by the Anqi situation. As they walked, they chatted about old times, enjoying a warm and happy moment.

Meanwhile, Liu Hui’s new bodyguard, Yao Zao, stood at a distance, constantly monitoring the safety of her boss and the boss’s wife.

Since the trip to the US, Zhou Tengyun had withdrawn all his African bases back to "Starry Sky City." Given the current strength of "Starry Sky City," there was absolutely no need for the African base to train killing warriors anymore. Having closed the African base, Zhou Tengyun had also returned to "Starry Sky City," taking an extended leave of absence, visiting Xie Erxin, who was staying at the Mei Tuo residence almost every day.

Liu Hui had expected that Zhou Tengyun and Yao Zao might develop feelings for each other due to shared experiences, perhaps even getting together. To his surprise, the two utterly disliked each other, precluding any possibility of a relationship. Helpless, Liu Hui abandoned his matchmaking efforts, allowing Zhou Tengyun to remain alone for the time being.

After joining Starry Sky Security Company, Yao Zao had performed exceptionally well in several consecutive missions, showing marked improvement and becoming a qualified bodyguard. Following a series of rigorous evaluations, she was unexpectedly assigned as Liu Hui's personal bodyguard, tasked with protecting his safety at all times.

The park was absolutely secure, so Yao Zao merely kept watch from afar, granting the boss and his wife a private space to nurture their relationship.

Liu Hui and Hu Xian'er were laughing as they passed a large tree; Liu Hui was even roaring with laughter over an old anecdote Hu Xian'er shared. Suddenly, a heavy thud sounded from the other side of the tree. Liu Hui started, swiftly shielding Hu Xian'er behind him, and peered around the trunk. On the ground on the other side lay a girl, perhaps eighteen or nineteen, dressed entirely in white. The girl was struggling to sit up, vigorously brushing dust off her clothes.

Liu Hui was greatly startled looking at the white-clad girl. With his heightened hearing, he was certain no one had been behind that tree just a moment ago. How could she appear on the ground in an instant? Could this girl be a ghost?

Yao Zao, standing far off, also noticed the sudden commotion around Liu Hui. She hadn't expected an extra person to appear in the park she had already cleared, but her professional instincts told her this woman’s appearance might pose a danger to her boss.

Just as Yao Zao was about to move closer, Liu Hui waved her back, signaling her to remain where she was. With Liu Hui's current perception, he could tell the girl was extremely frail, possessed no martial skills, and carried nothing with her, posing no threat to him.

The girl, still looking dejected while dusting herself off, suddenly realized she was standing in an unfamiliar park next to a couple. She stared blankly at Liu Hui for a moment. Then, as if something clicked, a delighted smile spread across her face, and she declared, "Ah, I know! You are Liu Hui."

Liu Hui chuckled, "Little sister, I am Liu Hui. Every person on this planet knows that. Am I really that hard to recognize?"

The girl laughed, "Haha, you are Liu Hui. I will never forget you. Do you know how happy I am to see you again? I'm not happy because you're the Liu Hui everyone knows, but because you are incredibly important to me."

Liu Hui smiled, "Little sister, you say I'm important to you. What does that mean? Are you one of my employees?"

The girl continued smiling gently, "Because I am Shu Yan! Your girlfriend. Hui Hui—we’ve finally met again."

Liu Hui was taken aback, but before he could speak, Hu Xian'er stepped forward with a smile, affectionately taking the girl's hand. "My dear, sweet girl, where did you hear about the old story between our Liu Hui and Shu Yan? Do you find the love story between Liu Hui and Shu Yan so moving that you want to try experiencing that kind of romance yourself? Is that it?"

The girl looked surprised, frowning slightly at Hu Xian'er. "Who are you? Why is my Hui Hui considered your family’s?"

Hu Xian'er laughed, "Little sister, my name is Hu Xian'er. I am Liu Hui's wife. Everyone in the world knows that!"

The girl shrieked, "That’s impossible! My Hui Hui only loves me! How could he fall in love with you and marry you? Isn't he with Liang Jingyue—" She immediately clapped a hand over her mouth, looking quite endearing.

Hu Xian'er gazed at the somewhat strange girl and gave a wry smile. "Little sister, you know quite a lot, even knowing about Liang Jingyue. But while our Liu Hui looks like a good man, he's actually quite the philanderer. Don't be fooled by his innocent appearance."

Liu Hui felt a flicker of displeasure—not because Hu Xian'er was criticizing him, but because this sudden apparition was impersonating Shu Yan. His history with Shu Yan was no secret; anyone willing to investigate would find out about it. What truly annoyed him was that this woman dared to pretend to be Shu Yan. Shu Yan had always been an eternal sorrow in his heart. Even though he was now certain that Anqi was Shu Yan, Anqi hadn't regained Shu Yan's memories, which left Liu Hui with a lingering regret, as if Shu Yan still existed as a separate, whole person in his mind. Someone suddenly appearing to impersonate her naturally made him deeply uncomfortable, no matter how cute the girl might be.

The girl blinked and suddenly asked, "Excuse me, what year is it now?"

Hu Xian'er smiled, "Little sister, did you bump your head when you fell? It's December 6th, 2017."

The girl gasped, covering her mouth again, murmuring, "It's already 2017? What should I do?"

Liu Hui said, "Xian'er, let's go!"

Hu Xian'er patted the girl's head and said, "Little sister, I don't know why, but I feel a strange closeness to you. If you have time, you're welcome to visit our home anytime."

As the couple started to turn away, the girl grew desperate. She called out loudly, "Hui Hui, do you remember the Fairyland in Shuzhou? Do you remember what you said on that platform?

'If I die, you must forget me and bury me there.'

You said if I died, after burying me, you would search for the newborn infant, find my reincarnation through that electric feeling, and resume our destiny."

Liu Hui froze, immediately halting his steps. The words the girl just spoke were exactly what he and Shu Yan had said years ago on the platform in the Shuzhou Daoist Fairyland. He had never shared those words with anyone else; only he and Shu Yan knew them.

Liu Hui turned back, staring intensely at the girl. "Tell me, where did you hear those words?"

The girl replied mournfully, "Hear them from where? Those were our conversations; of course, I remember them clearly."

Liu Hui said fiercely, "You are lying. I remember what Yan Yan looks like. Although you are cute, you don't resemble her at all. More importantly, I have already found the real Yan Yan. She went through some experiences and became a different person. Although she hasn't recovered Shu Yan's memories yet, I am certain she is my Yan Yan."

The girl was shocked and pleaded urgently, "Hui Hui, I really am Shu Yan! You must believe me. Haven't you forgotten the electric feeling between us?"

Liu Hui grabbed the girl's hand and said, "The electric feeling? Do you feel it now? There definitely is an electric feeling between me and Yan Yan, but there is nothing with you."

The girl was stunned. Watching Liu Hui start to turn away, she suddenly burst into tears. "Hui Hui—don't go, I really am your Yan Yan! It's been so hard looking for you. Do you remember the last night? You saw my health improving and were going to cook porridge for me, but I refused, and instead, I filmed a video for you—have you forgotten all that?"

Hearing the girl's words, the memory of the final night with Shu Yan flashed through Liu Hui's mind again. On that night, he and Shu Yan had indeed had the conversation and performed the actions mentioned. By the same logic, he hadn't shared those details with anyone else, so no one outside should know.

Liu Hui asked gravely, "What is the name of the place in my hometown where I often swim?"

The girl's spirit lifted. She immediately wiped her tears and replied, "The place you often swam is called Wojingdang, which legend says was dug out by a herd of oxen rolling around."

Liu Hui's expression became heavy. He continued to question her, "The first thing my mother made for you to eat when you visited my home for the first time?"

The girl answered, "Stir-fried wood ear mushrooms with pork. I still clearly remember that the best thing on the table was actually a plate of tofu pudding."

Liu Hui’s body began to tremble. Hu Xian’er, noticing the shift, tightly grasped Liu Hui's hand.

Liu Hui asked again, "What was the first scenic spot I took you to see in my hometown?"

The girl replied, "It was an abandoned coal mine called Fengmenya. You even said that when you were little, you often went to that mine to pick up ball bearings to make a skateboard."

Liu Hui had no more doubts. The things he had just asked were secrets he had never shared with anyone else; they were exclusive to him and Shu Yan. The girl's perfect answers indicated that she truly might be Shu Yan.

Hu Xian'er, seeing Liu Hui getting emotional, stepped forward and took the girl's hand. "Little sister..."

The girl protested indignantly, "What 'little sister'? Please call me Shu Yan. Actually, I might be older than you in actual years!"

Liu Hui said, "If you are my Shu Yan, then how did you end up like this?"

The girl frowned, "I don't know either. When I woke up, I found myself looking like this."

Hu Xian'er, being the more observant one, asked, "Shu Yan, do you remember what your name is now, or where you live?"

Shu Yan tugged at her hair, finally shaking her head. "No. My mind only remembers things about me and Hui Hui. I don't know my name or where I live."

"Then how did you end up here?" Liu Hui asked.

Shu Yan shook her head again. "I really don't know. I just remember feeling like I was suspended on this big tree, and then somehow I fell, and the next thing I knew, I saw you."

Hu Xian'er looked at the contemplative Liu Hui and sighed inwardly. She said to Shu Yan, "Shu Yan, how about this? Why don't you come home with us for now and stay at our place? Then we can slowly help you search for your current home. What do you think?"

Shu Yan blinked her large eyes and said, "That works too. After all, Hui Hui's home is my home; it’s only right that I stay there." She then followed behind Hu Xian'er toward Liu Hui's house.

Liu Hui watched the two women walking ahead of him, feeling a severe headache coming on. He had struggled mightily to resolve the issue between Hu Xian'er and Anqi, and now he had Shu Yan, who shouldn't even exist, added to the mix.

Liu Hui paused, then beckoned Yao Zao over from the distance. Yao Zao immediately hurried over and stood before him.

Liu Hui instructed, "Yao Zao, immediately take a set of clear photos of that white-clad girl, and then give these photos to Desheng. Have him investigate this girl's identity."

Yao Zao nodded, then naturally walked over to Hu Xian'er and Shu Yan. In a very subtle manner, she took full-body photos of Shu Yan, then contacted Desheng and forwarded the pictures.

Once back at the house, Hu Xian'er pulled Shu Yan close and sat down beside her affectionately.

Liu Hui began, "Little sister..."

Shu Yan gently corrected him, "Hui Hui, have you forgotten? You always called me Yan Yan."

Liu Hui corrected himself, "Yan Yan, you just said you remember nothing. Do you remember 'Starry Sky City'?"

Shu Yan blinked. "What is 'Starry Sky City'? I've never heard of it!"

Liu Hui felt a fresh wave of headache. He proceeded to ask Shu Yan several more questions about "Starry Sky City," but she genuinely knew nothing about it. Now, not just Liu Hui, but even Hu Xian'er found it strange, as who in the world didn't know about the existence of... "Starry Sky City"?

Liu Hui calmed himself down. "Alright, Yan Yan, since you don't know, I will explain 'Starry Sky City' to you and then go over the rules. First, I'll read you the Behavioral Code for Starry Sky Citizens on our 'Starry Sky City.'"

So, Shu Yan sat beside Hu Xian'er, listening curiously as Liu Hui mechanically read the Behavioral Code for Starry Sky Citizens, followed by his brief explanation of "Starry Sky City."

Shu Yan looked somewhat dazed. It was the first time she had heard of such a miraculous floating island existing in the world. As for the Starry Sky Behavioral Code, she hadn't absorbed a word of it.

Liu Hui noted Shu Yan's expression; she really seemed unfamiliar with "Starry Sky City." He made an excuse that she was too tired today and suggested she rest early, perhaps her memory would return by morning.

Unexpectedly, Shu Yan shyly said, "Hui Hui, will you sleep with me tonight?"

Liu Hui nearly spat out the mouthful of water he was drinking. He coughed and said to Hu Xian'er beside him, "Xian'er, you sleep with Shu Yan tonight. I'll take the guest room."

Hu Xian'er then took Shu Yan's hand and led her into her room. Just before entering, Shu Yan turned back, pouting slightly, and looked at Liu Hui with veiled disappointment.

Once Hu Xian'er and Shu Yan were inside, Liu Hui immediately went to the guest room. He took out the mind-reading artifact, the Eye of Truth, from his sleeve and attached his consciousness to it, intending to read Shu Yan's true thoughts.

"Huh? How can this be? This artifact is completely empty; it read nothing. How is that possible? Has this mind-reading artifact suddenly malfunctioned? Otherwise, why is there nothing here?" Liu Hui murmured in surprise.

Discovering the blank reading, Liu Hui immediately suspected a problem with the artifact. However, the artifact was usually foolproof. Why would it fail precisely now? Still, he couldn't bring himself to ask Shu Yan to come out again just to listen to him read the Behavioral Code. He decided he would test this "Shu Yan" again when the opportunity arose, determined to confirm whether this "Shu Yan" was an enemy spy.

Liu Hui settled into the guest room but was too preoccupied with thoughts to sleep. Although he strongly doubted this "Shu Yan" was the Shu Yan from Chuzhou, the secrets she revealed were known only to him and the true Shu Yan. Could this girl really be Shu Yan? If so, how did she end up like this? And if she was Shu Yan, who was Anqi?

Liu Hui wrestled with this perplexing situation all night, not closing his eyes until dawn broke. Fortunately, given his current powerful physique, a sleepless night had no impact on his health.

Seeing the sky begin to lighten, Liu Hui quickly got up. Hu Xian'er and Shu Yan were still asleep, so he hastily left the house and headed for Anqi's residence. Since being with Liu Hui, Anqi had moved out of her adoptive parents' home and into a house Liu Hui specifically arranged for her.

Liu Hui rang Anqi's doorbell. Anqi opened the door. Seeing Liu Hui standing outside, she was overjoyed, spontaneously hugging him, and then smiling, "Liu Hui, you’re here! I just finished preparing breakfast; let's eat together!"

Liu Hui looked at Anqi strangely. As they hugged, he felt that familiar electric sensation coursing through Anqi's body again. He was absolutely certain this sensation was the same one he shared with Shu Yan previously; he couldn't be mistaken—Anqi was Shu Yan.

Even though Anqi had lost all of Shu Yan's memories, there was no doubt that Anqi was Shu Yan. If the real Shu Yan was right in front of him, then what was the deal with the "Shu Yan" back at home? Why did she know the secrets between him and Shu Yan? Was she truly a spy sent by someone else?

"Liu Hui, what's wrong? Why aren't you eating anything?" Anqi asked in confusion when she saw Liu Hui sitting blankly at the dining table, holding his knife and fork but not eating.

Liu Hui blinked and forced a smile. "Nothing, just got lost thinking about something. By the way, Anqi, have your memories of Shu Yan recovered at all recently?"

After learning she was Shu Yan, Anqi had tried very hard to recover those memories. Unfortunately, despite many efforts over the years, there had been no progress. It was as if Shu Yan had never existed in Anqi's mind. Even when she asked Chuchu, whose home was now in "Starry Sky City," every day, she couldn't recall a single detail about Shu Yan. To Anqi, Shu Yan felt like an entirely different person.

Anqi put down her utensils and said, dissatisfied, "Liu Hui, I haven't remembered anything about Shu Yan. But why are you so insistent that I recover Shu Yan's memories? Am I not loving you enough as Anqi?"

Liu Hui concealed his thoughts and replied, "No, I was just asking casually. I know exactly how much my Anqi loves me. Have you forgotten? We share that magical electric feeling. Under that feeling, your heart absolutely cannot lie to me."

Anqi lightly touched Liu Hui's arm, then, her face flushed, she murmured, "Liu Hui, do you know what I'm thinking right now?"

A peculiar smile spread across Liu Hui's face as he replied, "The ancients said that once one is warm and well-fed, thoughts of desire inevitably follow. They were certainly not wrong. Anqi, you are truly wicked..."

Anqi laughed, "Since you know what I'm thinking, why aren't you coming quickly?" With that, she darted into the bedroom.

Liu Hui let out a sigh and immediately followed. Before he even crossed the threshold, the upper half of his clothing was already gone.
