This was Yan Senxu's second lightning tribulation, but what descended was not a single bolt of lightning, but a mountain—a colossal iceberg easily several kilometers wide. The entire ice mass was a deep, profound blue, surrounded by erratic arcs of frigid, blue lightning that crackled around it. Even high in the sky, everyone felt a bone-chilling cold wash over them.

How much frigid lightning could it take to coalesce such an immense iceberg? And to freeze active bolts of cold lightning into solid ice—what temperature was required? Absolute zero? Or something far colder?

Ye Jingyu was incredibly fast, but whether it was because he had helped Yan Senxu deflect the first trial, this second tribulation had enveloped him as well. No matter where he fled, he remained firmly within the range of the ordeal.

“Damn it, I only swallowed a little bit of the cold lightning, did you really need to bring this behemoth?” Cursing fiercely, Ye Jingyu zipped swiftly to Yan Senxu's side. Since Yan Senxu was the primary subject of the trial, even if the heavens wanted to cause trouble for him, they should at least target the core recipient first, shouldn't they?

At this moment, Hei Mingba, Medusa, and even Yan Senxu stared dumbly at the gigantic iceberg. Yan Senxu was too stunned to speak or act; mostly, he was paralyzed by fear. This confident cultivator was experiencing true terror for the first time.

Even before it began its final descent, the sheer pressure emanating from the mountain filled him with dread that originated from the depths of his soul.

As for Hei Mingba and Medusa, they were utterly shocked. They were both Demon Kings, having experienced lightning tribulations before, but never anything like this Heavenly Tribulation. To have an ice-based lightning trial, completely antithetical to Yan Senxu's nature, was already unbelievable; now, this monstrous iceberg? This felt like a death sentence.

Had the Demon Realm gone so long without producing a high-level Demon King that all the accumulated tribulations of the intervening years had coalesced into this one event? Otherwise, how could it be this powerful?

“Hey, folks, can we stop staring blankly? This iceberg has locked onto us; we need to figure something out!” Ye Jingyu said, his voice laced with worry as he watched the three remain frozen, gazing upward.

Hearing Ye Jingyu, the three finally snapped back to reality. Both Medusa and Yan Senxu turned their gaze toward Hei Mingba. Clearly, they were out of ideas, and against such a terrifying calamity, their only hope rested on him.

Hei Mingba’s eyes suddenly ignited, glowing like twin purple flames, and a colossal aura erupted from his body.

“Those who wish to live must join me in shattering this iceberg tribulation. Otherwise, we all perish!” Hei Mingba stated with solemn gravity, his expression intensely grim, indicating how seriously he took this heavenly trial.

Upon hearing this, Yan Senxu and Medusa simultaneously released their auras. Yan Senxu was somewhat manageable; thanks to the Ba Yuan Jue circulating within him, Ye Jingyu could withstand his presence. But when Medusa's aura fully burst forth, Ye Jingyu felt the surrounding space compress. A massive pressure radiated from her, and her very form underwent a dramatic transformation: she morphed into a snake, a serpent thousands of feet long, whose body resembled a mountain itself.

This terrifying pressure slammed down from the colossal serpent. Even with Ye Jingyu’s current cultivation and his mind tempered to its peak, he nearly buckled and knelt.

However, the Ba Yuan energy within him spun furiously, emitting an overbearing aura that, though less overwhelming than Medusa’s, staunchly resisted the Demon King’s immense pressure.

Seeing that Medusa had already revealed her true form, Hei Mingba nodded slightly, and his body shot forward instantly, directly toward the descending iceberg.

As he accelerated, purple flames began to wreathe his form, growing brighter and more intense until they threatened to engulf the entire sky.

With a deafening BOOM, Hei Mingba’s fist struck the iceberg with tremendous force. The myriad purple flames instantly surged toward the ice mass.

Ye Jingyu faintly heard a crack, like shattering glass. Before he could process it, Hei Mingba’s body plummeted like a cannonball, slamming into the ground and gouging out a massive pit, a hundred yards wide and dozens of yards deep. The earth beneath the impact site was pulverized into ash by the power radiating from his body.

At that moment, Medusa’s immense serpentine body whipped out with a whoosh. She rammed her head with savage force against the iceberg, which now clearly bore a fracture.

Another deafening BOOM followed. Medusa was smashed down by the iceberg, a long gash appearing on her head. Silver blood sprayed out like a fountain, and her massive serpent body thrashed uncontrollably on the ground, clearly suffering grievous injuries.

By now, the crack in the iceberg was undeniably visible. Yan Senxu’s body transformed into a streak of fire, rushing toward the colossal ice mass.

Watching the three Demon Kings relentlessly charge the iceberg, Ye Jingyu felt a surge of confusion—was this a tribulation or an outright brawl against heaven itself?

Meanwhile, Han Ba, standing to the side, looked at the giant iceberg in the sky with clear curiosity, seemingly wondering why such a thing as a heavenly tribulation would even exist.

Noticing Han Ba’s expression of innocent curiosity, Ye Jingyu firmly tugged her small hand and anxiously asked, “Hey, uh, miss—you’ve seen much of the world, how do you think we can survive this calamity?”

“I have seen much, true, but I have lost a great deal of memory. However, I have a strange feeling that in my time, there was no such thing as a heavenly tribulation,” Han Ba replied, shaking her head vaguely, her eyes still fixed on the rapidly approaching iceberg.

Seeing Han Ba’s indifferent attitude, Ye Jingyu realized questioning her was futile. He prepared to muster all his strength and charge the iceberg like Hei Mingba and the others, but Han Ba’s voice rang out again: “But a heavenly tribulation must be some kind of rule or formation left by the immortals. If it’s a formation, there must be a way to break it. Look there…” As she spoke, Han Ba pointed toward a cluster of dark clouds in the sky.

Ye Jingyu looked up and froze…
