As for Zhuge Yishi, Zhuge Siyu had already bid farewell to Ye Jingyu three days prior and returned to the mortal realm. The elders of the Zhuge family were nearly annihilated, and they needed to return to clean up the aftermath.
Although Yao Yao wished to remain by Ye Jingyu’s side, the entire Hundred Flower Sect was destroyed. As the highest-ranking and most powerful surviving member, she too had to return to revitalize the sect.
As for Bing Ming, there had been no word from him at all. Ye Jingyu was deeply worried but utterly helpless, able only to pray that he was safe.
Gazing out over the boundless grasslands, Ye Jingyu turned to the Jiuli Tower, which towered over nine zhang high, and declared, “You shall remain here and guard this place. I will lead them to conquer all of this land and build a kingdom that belongs to us. From this day forward, no power shall oppress us, harm us, or infringe upon even a shred of our interests! Chiyou Demon Venerable dared to challenge the Heavens in his time; as his successors, so can we!” By the end of his speech, Ye Jingyu was roaring these words toward the thousands of Minotaur warriors and Sky Wolf Giants behind him.
A fierce battle intent surged from his body. Whether Minotaur or Sky Wolf Giant, upon sensing the powerful aura Ye Jingyu radiated, their blood boiled with fervor. Thousands of Minotaurs stomped their cloven hooves in unison. Even the weakest among them was at the peak of the First-Rank Demon Lord realm; even without utilizing their demonic power, the sheer strength of their physical bodies was enough to shake the ground, making it tremble as if an earthquake were imminent.
The Sky Wolf Giants, whose might was in no way inferior to the Minotaurs, roared ferociously. Their chieftain, Baines, had been slain, completely eradicating any vestige of kinship they felt for the werewolves. Now, they had fully integrated with the Minotaur clan; the interests of the Minotaurs were their interests.
“My Lord, I understand. Only, these few good-for-nothing sons of mine—I must trouble you with them!” The Jiuli Tower bowed deeply and respectfully to Ye Jingyu.
Ye Jingyu looked at Tagemu, Tageyun, and Tagyu standing beside the Jiuli Tower and sighed softly, “Tageli, he…”
“My Lord, Tageli died for the Great Demon God! His death was glorious; he is the pride of all the Tagg tribes!” Before Ye Jingyu could finish, the Jiuli Tower clapped his chest and vowed.
Seeing the look of pride in the Jiuli Tower’s eyes, Ye Jingyu nodded gently.
“Very well. As long as they return alive, they will be the most formidable warriors. Jiuli Tower, Chi Yixiu is still in seclusion; I entrust his safety to you!” Ye Jingyu said earnestly to the tower.
“My Lord, rest assured. Unless I am dead, I absolutely will not allow anyone to harm Lord Chi Yixiu!” the Jiuli Tower replied respectfully.
“Good!” Ye Jingyu nodded, then turned back to the thousands of Minotaurs. Half of them were elites of the Minotaur clan; the remainder were all highly talented individuals. Ye Jingyu needed a powerful fighting force, and war would be the finest proving ground.
“All of you, heed my command, move out!”
As Ye Jingyu’s voice fell, Ni Bo transformed into a streak of light and shot forward. The others followed closely behind him, heading toward the Panbulasi Great Grasslands.
In the Panbulasi Great Grasslands, besides the Minotaur clan, several hundred other races resided, among them seven dominant clans whose masters were in no way inferior to the Minotaurs.
What Ye Jingyu intended to do now was subdue all seven of these major races, especially those masters who had reached the Eighth-Rank or above—they would form the core strength of Ye Jingyu’s future forces.
Closest to the Minotaurs was the Blood-Eye Tribe. They resembled humans closely, except their eyes were blood-red, and their natural talent was absolutely top-tier, not falling beneath the Eight Great Royal Clans. Though they lacked a Demon King realm master, their Ninth-Rank Demon Lords were the most numerous after the Eight Great Royal Clans, totaling three Ninth-Rank masters.
However, the population of the Blood-Eye Tribe was minuscule, numbering less than a thousand in total, which was why their sphere of influence had always been limited.
After traveling for about two days, Ye Jingyu and his company arrived near the Blood-Eye Tribe’s territory. An army marching on such a scale naturally drew the attention of the Blood-Eye Tribe.
About three hundred li away from the Blood-Eye gathering place, Ye Jingyu and his troops were halted by a force led by a dozen Blood-Eye members and tens of thousands of Beastkin soldiers.
The Beastkin were low in intellect, situated between demonic beasts and higher-tier demon races. Their bodies were powerful, but unfortunately, it was rare for them to produce top-tier masters, so they had always been subservient to the Blood-Eye Tribe, acting as their slave race.
Seeing the dense mass of the Beastkin army and the ten handsome Blood-Eye Tribe men standing at the forefront, Ye Jingyu gently waved a hand. The nearly ten-thousand-strong contingent immediately halted. The synchronized movement shook the earth and kicked up clouds of dust.
“Who are you? Why are you here?” One of the slender men, bearing a demonic tattoo across his forehead, rode forward on a demonic beast resembling a leopard, standing over one zhang tall with blood-red fur covering its body, and coldly questioned Ye Jingyu’s group.
Doubt flickered in his eyes. The Minotaur clan had always been peaceful; as long as others did not provoke them, they would never proactively attack other races. But why were they here today? And the leaders seemed to be human.
Observing the ten young men before him, all of whom were at least Sixth-Rank Demon Lords, Ye Jingyu’s estimation of the Blood-Eye Tribe rose another notch. This was a race with exceptional talent and high intelligence; they absolutely could not be conquered by brute force.
“My name is Ye Jingyu. I am an emissary sent by the Lord of the Tagg Tribe (the demon realm's designation for the Minotaurs). Today, I am here to conduct a friendly diplomatic visit with your three leaders!” Ye Jingyu patted Ni Bo beneath him, stepped out of formation, and spoke with perfect courtesy.
A friendly diplomatic visit? What in the world was that? All ten Blood-Eye men looked utterly bewildered...
Liang Xiaoke, following Ye Jingyu, burst into laughter, clutching his stomach. Did this fellow think this was a state visit between China and Japan? They were clearly here to conquer, so why the pleasantries?
“What he means is, have your three leaders get out here immediately!” Liang Xiaoke roared after his bout of laughter...
The sheer volume of his voice caused the tens of thousands of Beastkin soldiers behind the ten Blood-Eye men to stumble backward repeatedly. Many with lower cultivation levels began bleeding from their seven orifices due to the shockwave. Witnessing such power from a casual shout by Liang Xiaoke, the ten Blood-Eye men’s expressions drastically changed. Three streaks of crimson light descended from the sky, landing directly in front of Ye Jingyu and his company...
