Liu Hui turned off the radio in despair, slumping into the car's leather seat with exhausted eyes fixed on the road ahead. Hopelessness churned inside him like an endless tide.

The vehicle continued forward through a residential district where refugees clogged both sides of the highway. Cars along the road were ablaze as people wandered aimlessly, their faces etched with panic. When Liu Hui's car passed by, desperate hands beat against the windows in futile attempts to be let in - exactly like the scenes from those apocalyptic movies he'd once mocked.

The driver trembled violently behind the wheel, certain that stopping would mean being stripped of everything. He dared neither open a window nor slow down for stricken pedestrians, even crushing several refugees who clung to the doors as they tried to escape.

A deep sorrow settled over Liu Hui's chest like lead. "What's your name?" he asked his driver. "How are your family members?"

The man chuckled bitterly through gritted teeth. "I'm Wen Xing from inland China, Boss. My parents live in the countryside. The radio says their village was hit by meteorites too..." His voice trailed off into silence.

Liu Hui's fingers drummed a restless rhythm on his knee. "Do you believe the news about Earth's destruction within an hour?"

He shook his head at the window, watching meteors streak through blood-red skies like falling stars turned violent. Mushroom clouds bloomed over shattered skyscrapers as firestorms roared through the streets below. Amidst the chaos, human cries echoed with a hellish intensity.

"Even with my dimensional trading device," Liu Hui muttered to himself, "I can't save anyone now." He noticed Wen Xing steering toward and asked, "Where are you headed?"

"To Victoria Peak," Wen replied. "It's 554 meters high - the safest place in Hong Kong for that first tsunami wave."

Liu Hui scoffed bitterly. His family, his empire, his entire world had been reduced to ashes within an hour. Now he had no will left to cling to existence.

Wen Xing suddenly slammed on brakes. "Wait! The cable car is leaving!"

Inside the ascending cabin were two young lovers and a grizzled operator. As Liu Hui stepped inside, the conductor abruptly shut the doors without explanation.

"Another survivor?" the old man asked as they climbed higher above Hong Kong's inferno.

The girl in the couple shrieked upon recognizing Liu. "I've seen you at business conferences! You're Liu Hui from Stellar Group!"

Her boyfriend sneered, "He's just another refugee now."

Below them, a meteorite struck Victoria Peak head-on. The resulting shockwave sent the cable car into violent convulsions as they crested the summit.

The tsunami arrived with apocalyptic fury. From their vantage point on the peak, they watched as five-hundred-meter waves swallowed entire islands and fleets of ships in moments. When the wall of water finally crashed against their hiding place - a boulder near Victoria Peak's summit - they felt the earth tremble beneath them.

The wave crested right over their refuge, sending chills through Liu Hui's spine as seawater soaked every inch of his skin. For an agonizing moment, it seemed like salvation had been found... until reality sank in again.

"Boss," Wen Xing murmured, "we only have thirty more minutes."

The old cable car operator suddenly erupted with confessions - decades' worth of pedophilic tendencies and voyeuristic acts. The girl's boyfriend followed suit, confessing an affair while his girlfriend revealed she'd slept with all his friends in retaliation.

As the tsunami receded, leaving Hong Kong as a watery wasteland beneath them, Liu Hui noticed something strange in the sky...

"Look!" Wen Xing pointed upward where the black storm clouds had vanished. A massive glowing sphere was approaching at an alarming rate - far larger than any meteorite predicted by scientists.

Just then, Liu Hui reached out to summon his dimensional trading device from beneath the waves. But as he prepared to reveal its secrets to Wen Xing...

The old cable car operator suddenly leapt into the ocean below. His girlfriend screamed a final accusation about infidelity before following suit.

Liu Hui watched silently as the man who had once been Hong Kong's richest man now faced his own mortality. "You want to know my secret?" he asked Wen Xing, finally breaking his silence.

But before he could finish speaking...
