It’s just that I can’t tolerate those baffling, sudden appearance of bad reviews.
This book, Jian Bao (Picking Treasure), has been uploaded for nearly a month now. For the first three weeks, it was still building momentum, and the results weren't outstanding; there were no malicious comments in the reader impressions.
But after hitting the Sanjiang recommendation, and with everyone's support, the performance kept improving—not only did it climb the New Book rankings, but it smoothly entered the Weekly Clicks chart. Then, almost overnight, some unfavorable reader impressions began to surface.
Please don't blame me for caring so much about these reader impressions. I know that many readers habitually check the impression section before deciding to read. If a book has negative evaluations there, many people will simply give up reading it entirely.
Impressions aren't like book reviews, which scroll by daily. Reader impressions are fixed in place; unless the feature is disabled, they will remain there, unchangeable.
However, reader impressions should reflect the collective sentiment of the majority of readers, not the opinions of just a few.
To be frank, there isn't a single book on Qidian that everyone loves. As the saying goes, it's hard to please everyone; books written by different authors naturally appeal to different people.
The reason I'm asking enthusiastic readers to help push up the positive reviews is precisely so that more people who like this book—or those seeing it for the first time—won't be swayed by external factors and will click to start reading.
Only after you’ve read the content, if you truly feel the book isn't to your taste, then please leave quietly, taking nothing but a faint shadow with you as you depart.
Of course, if you find the book halfway decent—and starting a new book is never easy—please take a moment to bookmark it and cast a recommendation vote.
This is all I have to say. With deepest respect!
Thank you! C
