Since there were no morning classes for the entire third year, Class One of Finance, Feng Na, after a brief spat with her best friend Cheng Cheng, returned to the classroom to study on her own.
Sitting at her desk, Feng Na replayed the conversation she’d had with Li Yundong earlier in the classroom. The more she thought about it, the more frustrated she became, and the hotter her cheeks burned. Clutching her books, she buried her head in the pile like an ostrich, yelling in exasperation, "This is so humiliating! I can never show my face again!"
A moment later, a boy sat down next to Feng Na. He was broad and burly, with particularly thick arms, and wore a beaming, ingratiating smile. "Nana, what's wrong?"
Feng Na lifted her head only to see a boy who usually clung to her smiling at her. She rolled her eyes irritably. "Zhou Yu, get lost! Can't you see I'm in a foul mood? I don't want to see you right now!"
Zhou Yu stiffened, a flicker of displeasure crossing his eyes, but he kept smiling broadly. "Nana, who upset you? Tell me, and I'll go rough him up for you!"
Feng Na waved him away impatiently. "Scram, scram! Fine, I'm on my period, okay? Go away! You won't go? Fine, I'll go!"
With that, she hastily stuffed her books into her bag and rushed out of the classroom with surprising speed and agility, showing no signs of the discomfort she claimed.
Zhou Yu sat stunned in his seat, snapping back to reality only when he turned to Feng Na’s friend, Cheng Cheng. "Damn, is she on steroids today?"
Cheng Cheng chuckled, her eyes glinting mischievously. "You guess?" Then her fingers made a gesture for rubbing money together.
Zhou Yu grinned knowingly. "Sister, you won't be short-changed. Tell me what happened."
Cheng Cheng pointed at Zhou Yu. "I want two VIP entry passes to Golden Years!"
A look of difficulty crossed Zhou Yu's face, which Cheng Cheng immediately noticed. She began packing her bag, but Zhou Yu quickly stopped her. "Okay, okay, two passes, right? No problem, tell me what happened!"
Cheng Cheng then recounted how Feng Na had been thoroughly put in her place by Li Yundong earlier. Upon hearing this, Zhou Yu leaped nearly a meter high, rolled up his sleeves, and charged out of the room.
Feng Na waited by the classroom door for Cheng Cheng. When she emerged, Feng Na’s eyes widened. "What did you say to Zhou Yu? Why is he rushing out like his backside is on fire?"
Cheng Cheng looked smug. "What do you think I said?"
Feng Na thought for a moment. "You told him about me and Li Yundong?"
Cheng Cheng snapped her fingers. "Correct! And I got two VIP entry passes to Golden Years in return!"
Feng Na laughed in exasperation. "Are you crazy? Zhou Yu is a trained martial artist! He practices Iron Wire Fist—his skill is no less than Zhao Yujian's!"
Cheng Cheng scoffed. "Zhao Yujian was beaten half to death by one punch from Li Yundong. Are you still afraid your little flame can't beat him?"
Angered, Feng Na reached out and pinched Cheng Cheng’s chest. "What did you say? Little flame? Are you looking to die, you awful big-breasted menace? I'll squeeze your milk sacks dry!"
Cheng Cheng clutched her chest, laughing hard. "Alright, alright! You're just worried Zhou Yu will get hurt, aren't you? I didn't realize—usually so icy toward him, but underneath, you're burning with passion!"
Feng Na cursed back, "You little brat, you’re getting bolder! I don’t care what happens to those two jerks! I hope they both go down together; it'll save me a headache!"
The two women laughed and playfully wrestled for a moment. Cheng Cheng patted her chest, catching her breath. "You should worry about yourself first. As the cultural representative for the Student Union, how will you fill Zhao Yujian's vacancy?"
This brought Feng Na’s spirits down again, and she looked miserable. "Yeah, what should I do?"
Cheng Cheng, quick-witted, offered a suggestion. "Oh, I heard there’s a sophomore named Zhou Qin. She’s the number one campus beauty, has an incredible background, and I heard recently that Li Yundong even confessed his feelings to her. Why don't you beg her to ask Li Yundong if he can fill in?"
Feng Na rolled her eyes. "What kind of terrible idea is that? If I can't handle something by going myself, how could some little brat possibly manage it?"
Cheng Cheng mocked her. "Come on, you’re only one year ahead of her! Why are you acting like a seasoned veteran?"
Feng Na snapped back in anger, "You've lived too long to dare undermine me! I said it—I’m not asking anyone!"
Cheng Cheng raised both hands in surrender. "Okay, okay, I won't say another word! Just one last thing: even if you refuse to ask Zhou Qin, aren't you worried that Li Yundong and Zhou Yu might actually hurt each other badly?"
Hearing this, Feng Na's expression instantly sharpened. "Let's go, we have to check on them immediately!"
Li Yundong had fled the classroom early, too embarrassed to go back inside, but not knowing where else to go, he ended up wandering the campus with Su Chan tagging along.
As they walked, Li Yundong mulled over matters, particularly Director Qian’s threat to expel him, feeling so agitated he wanted to scratch his scalp raw.
They wandered until they reached the school gate. Just as they stepped outside, a loud shout echoed: "Li Yundong, stop right there!"
Zhou Yu had been diligently tracking Li Yundong’s whereabouts. After learning his class number, he found the young man absent from class, so he left the classroom and began asking around.
Fortunately, Li Yundong had become quite a notorious figure recently. Many students recognized him, especially the little fox perpetually glued to his side, leaving a deep impression. Thus, several students pointed the way, and Zhou Yu followed the trail directly to them.
Li Yundong paused and turned around, seeing a tall young man, about 1.8 meters, striding towards him. As he approached, he shot out a hand, fingers hooked like claws, aiming straight for Li Yundong’s shoulder.
Zhou Yu's grab was clearly intended as a show of force—if it connected, he could easily dislocate Li Yundong’s shoulder.
Although Li Yundong possessed the divine strength of the Golden Core realm, he had almost no practical combat experience and couldn't recognize the subtle trickery involved.
But the little fox, Su Chan, had eyes like fire. Seeing the young man approaching with ill intent, she immediately reached out and smacked Zhou Yu’s hand away with a sharp pa. She then stared him down menacingly. "What are you trying to do?"
The moment Zhou Yu saw Su Chan, his eyes went glassy, and he almost forgot how to speak. But then he remembered how intimate Su Chan and Li Yundong seemed, and jealousy instantly curdled in his stomach.
Ignoring Su Chan, Zhou Yu focused on Li Yundong. "Hey, what did you do to Feng Na today?"
"Feng Na?" The name alone gave Li Yundong a massive headache. He groaned miserably. "If I told you I didn't do a damn thing, would you even believe me?"
Seeing Su Chan clinging tightly to Li Yundong’s arm, Zhou Yu sneered internally. This guy must be a second-generation rich kid, just using money to trick little girls! Having such a beautiful woman by his side yet still messing with Feng Na—how despicable! I need to teach you a lesson today!
Zhou Yu said coldly, "You didn't do anything? Then why is Feng Na so furious?"
Li Yundong rolled his eyes. "She’s brainless and said some brainless things. How can you blame me?"
Zhou Yu was instantly enraged, smoke practically pouring from his ears. "Fine, you heartless bastard! Doing wrong and blaming it on a woman? Are you even a man? If you have the guts, step forward, I’ll fight you one-on-one!"
Li Yundong burst into loud laughter, clutching his stomach. He laughed for a long time, only stopping when Zhou Yu was about to lose control. He forced his laughter down and said to Zhou Yu, "Classmate, you can walk straight ahead for fifty meters, turn right for a hundred meters, then take the 533 bus. Get off at the City People's Hospital, and I suggest you visit the psychiatry department to get your head checked!"
Zhou Yu was furious, his fists clenched tightly. "What did you say?!" With that, he threw a punch.
The punch was fast and fierce, startling Li Yundong, but Su Chan quickly deflected it with her hand.
Having his attack blocked twice by Su Chan, Zhou Yu grew wary. He realized this girl was likely also trained in martial arts, and the impact had made his arm ache—she might even be stronger than him!
Zhou Yu was reluctant to clash with the stunningly beautiful and tempting Su Chan, so he shifted all his hostility toward Li Yundong. He snarled, "Are you even a man? Just hiding behind a woman!"
Su Chan couldn't take it anymore and shouted, "Hey, what nonsense are you spouting! Yundong isn't afraid of you. I could take ten guys like you with one hand, let alone Yundong!"
Even with his good temper, Zhou Yu couldn't tolerate such words. He glared at Su Chan. "What did you say?"
Su Chan made a face at him. "I said, I could handle ten jerks like you and still not be tired!"
Zhou Yu roared, "Shut up!"
Su Chan shot back, "You shut up first!"
Li Yundong turned sharply to Su Chan and snapped, "You shut up! Haven't you caused enough trouble already?"
Su Chan flinched, her previous arrogance instantly vanishing. She obediently shrank behind Li Yundong, silent, like an obedient young wife.
Li Yundong turned back to Zhou Yu. "Do you know what the Compendium of Materia Medica says to describe people like you?"
Zhou Yu narrowed his eyes at Li Yundong. "What does it say?"
Li Yundong sneered, "‘For the inherently brain-dead, there is no cure.’"
Su Chan burst out laughing.
Zhou Yu, red with shame and fury from the mockery, was about to attack when he suddenly heard a flurry of angry shouts.
He turned and saw a group of thugs charging toward them at a run, pulling iron pipes and wrenches from their waists, yelling as they ran, "You little bastard, stop! We’ll beat you to death!"
Li Yundong saw clearly: this was the gang led by Xie Fei and Er Lu, the same group that had chased him into the school earlier!
Zhou Yu was startled. Although he was trained, he couldn't possibly fight so many people, especially since they were armed! Moreover, it was obvious they weren't after him—they were coming for that guy Li Yundong!
Zhou Yu quickly jumped to the side, relishing the coming spectacle. "Idiot, run quickly! I won’t laugh at you!"
Hearing that, Li Yundong’s temper flared instantly. This time, he didn't turn and run.
He recalled striking out with over five hundred pounds of force, kicking Zeng Qing flying, and shattering Zhao Yujian's tibia with one punch. He remembered the powerful surge he'd felt the previous night in the living room—a restless, fervent power was leaping and screaming in his blood!
Li Yundong’s blood quickly began to boil, surging through his meridians like a primordial beast. His pupils contracted instantly, and all his strength exploded like a bomb. Blood pulsed through his veins like a high-powered pump, rushing to his thighs, which drove his calves, which propelled his tendons and ankle. In an instant, his whole body rose, one leg balancing him vertically while the other whipped out like a battle-axe!
This was a classic fighting move known across many styles: the Cyclone Kick!
