The captain flinched at the sound of the alarm, cursing under his breath. He spoke quickly into his headset, "The operation has been compromised. Initiate full assault. Mission completion is mandatory."

Startled by the sudden alarm, the men in black immediately snapped to attention upon hearing the captain’s command, scattering to converge on their designated targets.

The captain led his team to the eighth floor, making a direct line for Liu Hui's apartment. Before they even reached 807, the steel door was blasted inward. With terrifying force, the metal door slammed into one of the black-clad operatives who couldn't dodge in time, instantly shattering his bones and ending his life.

A white blur shot out. The captain gasped, raising his machine gun directly at the figure, preparing to open fire. But before his finger could pull the trigger, a massive force struck him, ripping the machine gun from his grasp. Undaunted in the face of danger, the captain performed a forward tumble, drawing a pistol from his leg holster while still airborne, and fired a shot behind him. Yet, there was no sound of a body being struck. The captain yelled that things had gone awry, rolling several times to take cover in a corner of the wall.

That white blur was indeed Liu Hui. He had been cultivating that evening when a sudden wave of unease washed over him. Before he could decipher the source of this anxiety, the alarm blared. As he prepared to investigate the disturbance, he heard several figures sprinting towards his room. Analyzing the cadence and weight of their footsteps, he realized they were strangers. He responded by punching the iron door open, eliminating one of the operatives, and then rapidly burst out, snatching the captain's machine gun. The captain, demonstrating exceptional quick-wittedness, recognized the unfavorable situation and flipped backward, firing a shot behind him. However, the bullet fired was intercepted by a sudden burst of red light that manifested in front of Liu Hui.

Liu Hui was furious. He had no idea where these black-clad assailants originated, but their immediate resort to gunfire clearly marked them as vicious enemies. Liu Hui merely slung the machine gun to the side, squeezed the trigger, and two subordinates who had followed the captain were caught off guard, mowed down and left undeniably dead. Liu Hui showed no hesitation, charging toward the corner where the captain was hiding.

A grenade was suddenly tossed from behind the corner. Liu Hui moved forward quickly, but before he could kick the grenade away, it detonated violently right in front of him. It turned out the captain, being highly experienced, hadn't clearly seen what the white figure was, but he knew it was a formidable opponent. He made the decisive move to throw a grenade, timing the toss perfectly so that it exploded almost as soon as it hit the ground, catching even Liu Hui by surprise.

The captain cautiously peeked out, seeing only the thick white smoke from the grenade explosion. But his eyes widened instantly as he saw Liu Hui emerging from the haze, utterly unharmed, not even a speck of soot marring his clothes, staring back with a cold sneer.

"Attention all squads, attention all squads! We’ve met a tough one; intelligence was flawed. Immediate withdrawal, immediate withdrawal." Witnessing Liu Hui’s terrifying power, capable of withstanding a grenade blast, the captain instantly realized his intelligence had been severely flawed. Putting aside the fact that he had already hacked into the enemy's system to disable surveillance, yet the alarm sounded almost immediately afterward, just the sheer invulnerability of this Liu Hui, who had single-handedly decimated his squad upon first contact, was enough to confirm he had drastically underestimated the strength of the Starry Sky Group. He immediately issued the retreat order.

After sending the withdrawal signal, the captain swiftly turned and bolted for the stairs. Liu Hui let out a cold laugh, tensed his legs, and covered ten meters in mid-air, suddenly clamping his hand around the captain's throat and slamming him against the wall. Liu Hui tightened his grip, instantly constricting the captain’s breathing, causing his eyes to bulge and his tongue to loll out. Though the captain struggled desperately, it was entirely futile; he dangled there, held by Liu Hui like a dead dog.

The black-clad operatives, currently engaged in their actions, paused upon receiving the retreat order before immediately beginning to withdraw. Among the three teams, only the squads led by Tom and Jerry achieved partial success: they managed to locate and secure Target Number Three—Chen Changsheng of the Starry Sky Research Institute—who was now rendered limp and unconscious from the anesthetic dart Tom’s team administered. Meanwhile, the King Kong team experienced an embarrassing blunder while searching for Target Number Two—Mei Peng. Mei Peng lived on the fifteenth floor. After the King Kong team reached the twelfth floor, they mechanically climbed three more flights, only to realize they had arrived at the seventeenth floor. They quickly searched downward again, only to discover that the fifteenth floor was positioned directly above the twelfth, functionally acting as the thirteenth floor. Due to Chinese superstitions regarding the numbers thirteen and fourteen, both floors were omitted from this building's numbering. This delay caused the team to receive the captain’s withdrawal order before they could capture anyone, forcing them to abandon the mission and retreat downward.

The moment the alarm sounded, the security personnel managing the surveillance system noticed the anomaly on the monitors. They instantly realized their control center had been breached, leading to an immediate digital battle between them and Fox within the control systems.

Wu Yuanjia and Huang Huali, upon hearing the alarm, immediately organized the security company’s personnel to rush toward the Starry Sky Group's dormitory building, unsure of the exact nature of the event but acutely aware that all key personnel resided there and could not afford any mishaps.

Wu Yuanjia tried contacting the control center via his communicator but was met only with static noise, confirming signal jamming. He threw the device aside and shouted, "Turn on the spotlights! Activate the searchlights now!"

Wu Yuanjia’s voice carried far into the night. Personnel near the designated positions immediately flipped the main lamps toward the dormitory, illuminating the entire structure in stark detail. However, several bullets instantly flew out of the darkness, shattering the newly lit lamps. The lights, having just been activated, were snuffed out by hidden snipers, plunging the building back into shadow.

Wu Yuanjia and his security team arrived just in time to intercept the retreating black-clad figures at the base of the dormitory.

Upon seeing Wu Yuanjia and the large contingent of security personnel charging forward, the black-clad men opened fire. Their superior firepower immediately pinned down Wu Yuanjia’s group; the security guards were forced flat on the ground, unable to raise their heads. Wu Yuanjia's security company was still awaiting approval from the Hong Kong government for firearm licenses, so the responding guards were armed only with batons, utterly incapable of matching the firepower of the intruders. Furious, Wu Yuanjia flipped over and vanished into the darkness.

The black-clad operatives fired while retreating, their eyes fixed on the building's exits. To their dismay, the captain's team did not emerge.

"King Kong, what do we do?" Jerry asked.

King Kong gritted his teeth. "I'll provide cover for your retreat, then I'll go find the captain and the others."

Jerry nodded and began to withdraw, but a sudden scream erupted beside him. An operative was seized by the neck by Wu Yuanjia, who seemingly materialized from nowhere, and dragged into the nearby bushes, followed by a sickening crunch and a muffled cry.

"Tony, damn it, I'll kill you..." Tom shrieked, unleashing a furious barrage of gunfire into the thicket. But Wu Yuanjia had clearly made a swift escape; Tom's shooting only served to waste ammunition.

"Tom, calm down. It seems we’ve run into a master fighter. But don't worry, as long as I’m here, I guarantee I can get you all home safely," King Kong reassured Tom. Reassured by King Kong’s words, Tom relaxed; he was well aware of King Kong’s formidable strength.

Wu Yuanjia suddenly lunged out of the darkness again, snatching another operative before melting back into the shadows.

King Kong roared, "Brothers, retreat quickly! I’ll cover you!" He then ripped off his upper garment and began to channel his internal energy.

Seeing King Kong start his cultivation, a flicker of joy appeared in the eyes of the black-clad men. They quickly huddled together, covering one another as they retreated toward the factory perimeter.

Wu Yuanjia burst from the darkness once more, aiming for another operative. However, he was met by a colossal hand that had appeared before him, perfectly blocking his own. Even with Wu Yuanjia's power, capable of splitting metal and stone, the strike failed to move the massive hand even an inch. This timely intervention was King Kong's. After channeling his energy, King Kong’s muscles rippled, and his bones popped loudly. In moments, the 6-foot-tall man had transformed into a 10-foot giant, his hands now the size of huge fans. Seeing Wu Yuanjia rushing to attack his comrades again, he planted himself squarely in the way.

Wu Yuanjia, ever experienced, didn't hesitate despite not understanding how a man could suddenly turn into a ten-foot giant. After the initial strike failed, he melted back into the darkness.

King Kong beat his chest and roared loudly, then shattered a large hole in the factory’s sturdy wall with a single punch. The black-clad men quickly filed through the opening and exited the factory grounds. King Kong stood before the breach, covering their withdrawal.

With the suppression fire gone, the security personnel immediately swarmed forward, surrounding King Kong. Two clever guards picked up the machine guns dropped by the operatives Wu Yuanjia had killed and began firing at King Kong. King Kong roared, his muscles swelling like rock formations, effectively blocking the bullets. The rounds left not even a scratch on his body.

One security guard, recognizing the futility, grabbed a grenade from the ground and hurled it at King Kong. Unfortunately, the guard lacked experience; he threw the grenade too early; it was still moments from detonation. King Kong snatched the grenade out of the air and threw it back toward the crowd. The guards were horrified, realizing they couldn't dodge in time, when suddenly a small steel ball shot through the air, striking the grenade. The grenade detonated violently the instant it left King Kong's hand, engulfing him in a massive blaze of fire.

Wu Yuanjia, concerned about Chen Changsheng who had been abducted by the black-clad figures, prepared to pass through the hole in the wall to rescue him. Just then, a giant hand reached out from the smoke of the explosion and swung at him. He instinctively blocked, but couldn't counter the immense force, sending him flying backward. Wu Yuanjia performed several rapid tumbles before the force dissipated entirely, only to find himself back where he had originally stood. He stood up, staring at King Kong with horror.

King Kong had emerged from the explosion completely unscathed, save for some singed hair and damage to his lower garments; he was otherwise unharmed, emitting only continuous roars.

As Wu Yuanjia regained his footing, he felt a slight rush of air near his face and cried out in alarm. He executed an "iron bridge" maneuver, leaning backward until his body seemed bent in half. A bullet whistled past his face, the displacement of air scraping painfully against his cheek.

"Sniper!" Wu Yuanjia yelled in shock, ordering the security personnel to scatter as he himself quickly dissolved back into the darkness.

King Kong, seeing the sniper's single shot terrify the security detail, prepared to move toward the dormitory to search for the captain's team. At that moment, a scream and a burst of exchange fire echoed from the beach beyond the large hole in the wall.

"Bad news, they have people outside too!" King Kong turned and rushed toward the beach.

Huang Huali arrived alongside Wu Yuanjia, but he too was suppressed by the enemy's firepower. Unlike Wu Yuanjia, however, he did not charge the enemy head-on but instead stealthily concealed himself in the darkness, observing the situation. Finally, capitalizing on a moment when King Kong was distracted, he slipped out beyond the wall and entered the ranks of the black-clad men, beginning his hunt. Huang Huali’s skill was no less than Wu Yuanjia’s; once engaged in close-quarters combat with the operatives, they stood no chance, and the situation quickly turned dire for the intruders.

The hidden sniper, seeing Huang Huali blend in with the black-clad figures, dared not fire indiscriminately for fear of hitting his own side.

Huang Huali, having endured patiently, struck instantly, twisting the necks of two operatives. He then plunged into the center of the group, using their bodies as cover to snap the neck of a third. By then, the remaining operatives had fully reacted, but there were only five left. Tom and Jerry, having been extremely fortunate, were still alive and well.

King Kong roared in fury and lunged toward Huang Huali, his massive hand sweeping toward him. Huang Huali launched a high kick that landed squarely on King Kong’s hand, but it failed to budge the giant in the slightest; instead, Huang Huali was forced back several steps by the impact. The hidden sniper seized the moment and fired decisively. Huang Huali, highly alert, managed a bizarre twist even while retreating, avoiding a vital hit, though his arm was struck by the bullet. Clutching his wounded arm, Huang Huali rapidly retreated into the shadows. As he vanished, he hurled a small stone, knocking the nearby Fox to the ground.

King Kong bellowed, "Tom, take the remaining men and get out of here quickly!"

Tom and Jerry didn't have time to think; they quickly maneuvered the unconscious Chen Changsheng toward the fishing boat on the sea, guarded by the two remaining black-clad men behind them. Just as the four drifted farther away, a muffled thud echoed, and the head of one of the two guards swimming behind them suddenly exploded, splashing gore onto the faces of Tom and the other two, who accelerated their paddling in terror. Another muffled sound followed, and the head of the second guard also burst open.

Tom and Jerry were petrified, paddling desperately while simultaneously pushing Chen Changsheng out in front of them to act as a human shield, hiding themselves behind him.

King Kong watched from the shore, his eyes blazing with rage, roaring challenges at the unseen sniper. Liu Hui shifted his focus away from Tom and Jerry; those two were using Chen Changsheng for protection, and Liu Hui dared not fire carelessly for fear of harming Chen Changsheng. He redirected his aim toward the enormous King Kong.

Liu Hui had just finished eradicating the captain's entire team but had no idea of the enemy's total strength, unwilling to leave his doorstep unguarded lest his parents be endangered. Fortunately, the arrival of Wu Yuanjia and Huang Huali had diverted the enemy’s attention, and Liu Hui had quickly scanned the surrounding area, finding no other hostiles. He then shifted his focus to the battle below, arriving just as King Kong was preparing to throw another grenade. Liu Hui fired a steel ball, detonating the grenade right in front of King Kong, but King Kong was no ordinary man; the explosion caused him no damage.

As King Kong continued roaring challenges at Liu Hui, hoping to buy his comrades time to escape, a sudden sharp pain struck his forehead. A massive 12.7mm caliber round lodged itself in his brow, but it failed to penetrate his defense, causing him only intense agony.

Liu Hui was secretly shocked. He couldn't fathom what kind of monster this King Kong was; even his Barrett rifle couldn't kill him. At this moment, the enemy sniper hidden in the dark finally located Liu Hui’s position. Seizing the perfect opportunity while Liu Hui was momentarily stunned and unable to reposition, the sniper fired directly at Liu Hui’s head.

A flash of red light pulsed over Liu Hui’s head, stopping the bullet dead. However, this was an armor-piercing round; the immense kinetic energy it carried sent Liu Hui staggering backward repeatedly. As Liu Hui retreated, the captain he held suddenly dropped to the ground.

The captain was a hardened man. Having witnessed Liu Hui’s terror and knowing escape was impossible, he didn't hesitate during the split second of freedom. He immediately bit down on the poison capsule hidden in his collar. The poison was potent; as soon as he swallowed it, the effects took hold. The captain’s face twisted into a grimace, black blood streamed from his mouth, and he died instantly.

Liu Hui had no time to admire the captain's decisive action; he tumbled again, seeking cover behind the opposite side of the wall. The sniper, having fired, was rapidly relocating. But Liu Hui’s eyesight was extraordinarily sharp; even in the darkness, he accurately tracked the sniper's movement trajectory. Just as the sniper believed he was safe, Liu Hui fired. The shot struck the sniper squarely in the head, causing his entire skull to explode, leaving him irrevocably dead.

Struck by Liu Hui’s shot, King Kong roared again, provoking Liu Hui in a desperate attempt to buy time for his own side’s sniper. However, Liu Hui ignored him. Enraged, King Kong charged back into the factory grounds through the large opening. Wu Yuanjia and Huang Huali stood together, each gripping a heavy iron rod, pointing them at King Kong. The security personnel armed with machine guns unleashed a furious barrage, but it did nothing to harm King Kong.

King Kong grinned hideously and advanced toward Wu Yuanjia and Huang Huali. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his forehead, causing him to rear back and stumble several steps.
