"Second, Liu explained the change in expression. He said to Zhou Tengyun, 'Second brother, be careful, there’s a sniper facing us!'"

Zhou Tengyun's face drained of color. He hadn't sensed anything amiss a moment ago. If Liu Hui hadn't pulled him away in time, he would never have dodged that bullet.

"Third brother, the sniper is in the woods about five hundred meters ahead of us, two o'clock in our frontal view," Liu Hui reminded him.

"Boss, how do you know so clearly?" Zhou Tengyun asked, puzzled.

"Third brother, I'll tell you the details after we deal with this damn sniper!" Liu Hui replied.

"Boss, we're so far from where that damn sniper is, and we're in an open area with no cover. We're just targets in his sights—how can we possibly take him out?" Zhou Tengyun inquired.

"Look at that sniper, he's in the woods on the beach ahead. We can just swim over quietly through the sea, land behind him, and attack from both sides to finish him off," Liu Hui suggested.

"Boss, swimming from here to that position means traveling at least eight hundred meters, and we can't even stick our heads up to breathe. We don't even have diving gear right now. How can we swim there? Shouldn't we call for backup?" Zhou Tengyun advised.

"If we call for backup, that sniper will surely retreat immediately, and we won't be able to kill him. Then, we'll be threatened by him every time we go out, which is extremely unfavorable for us. That's why I must eliminate him this time, and I must also find the assassin organization behind him, to see if we can wipe them out or find the instigator. We must solve this problem at the source. Otherwise, we kill one assassin and another one pops up; we'll probably never finish killing them even when we're old," Liu Hui analyzed.

"But such a long distance..." Zhou Tengyun still wanted to persist.

"I have my own way to get there. You don't need to worry. You stay here and create the illusion that we are breaking out to distract that sniper," Liu Hui instructed.

While enjoying the sea breeze earlier, Liu Hui had actually been commanding Xiao Hei, who was playing in the nearby waters. The moment the sniper appeared, he had ordered Xiao Hei to rush to his location. Xiao Hei was now waiting for him on the seabed. Liu Hui had considered using the defense of the Hongguang Armor to withstand the sniper’s bullets, but he wasn't sure if his armor could stop sniper rounds. If it couldn't, dying like that would be a joke. So, he decided to use conventional means to eliminate the sniper.

"Third brother, I'm going into the sea. You cover me," Liu Hui told Zhou Tengyun.

Zhou Tengyun took off his shirt and quickly waved it outside the reef. The opponent immediately fired a shot, shredding the cloth and carving a deep pit into the reef. Liu Hui took advantage of this rare moment and quietly slipped into the sea from behind the rock.

As Liu Hui submerged into the ocean, Xiao Hei immediately swam over. He grabbed Xiao Hei’s tail, and Xiao Hei swiftly swam in the direction Liu Hui indicated. In less than thirty seconds, Xiao Hei brought Liu Hui around to the rear of the sniper’s position.

Liu Hui instructed Xiao Hei to wait in place and quietly crawled ashore himself. He carefully retrieved a set of dry clothes from his storage space, changed, and then stealthily approached the sniper’s ambush spot.

Liu Hui’s eyesight was incredibly sharp now. He instantly spotted the sniper hidden in the dense woods under heavy camouflage. He was overjoyed and crept closer, but he failed to notice the alarm device the sniper had set up. Consequently, Liu Hui triggered a fine fishing line, and a sensitive bell immediately rang out clearly. At this moment, Liu Hui was still one hundred meters from the sniper.

The sniper was exceptionally agile. Hearing the bell, he instantly turned, aiming his rifle toward Liu Hui. Liu Hui was startled, quickly firing several steel pellets and using the cover of the woods to sprint toward the sniper.

The sniper dodged the steel pellets only to realize Liu Hui was already extremely close. In desperation, he threw his sniper rifle at Liu Hui, then activated a trap, retreating rapidly himself toward the nearby main road.

Liu Hui caught the rifle and tossed it into his storage space. Then, using both hands, he caught two massive logs hurtling toward him, tossed them aside, and continued pursuing the sniper.

The sniper had already prepared a car on the adjacent road. He swiftly closed the door and started the engine, speeding away. Liu Hui, momentarily blocked by the trap, was a step too late. He watched the car speed off, managing only to shatter the car window with a few steel pellets; he failed to hit the assassin. The car swiftly took a turn and vanished from Liu Hui's sight.

At this point, Zhou Tengyun noticed the commotion and immediately rushed to Liu Hui’s side.

Liu Hui carefully reviewed the terrain in his mind. He was standing at the foot of a mountain, and the damn sniper was driving up toward the summit. Beyond the summit was a downward sloping road.

Liu Hui made up his mind and began to run quickly toward the mountaintop. When he leaped and scrambled onto the peak, he saw the sniper's car tearing down the winding mountain road. He was standing near a very high cliff, beneath which the speeding car was traveling.

Zhou Tengyun also arrived at the summit. Seeing Liu Hui’s movement, he quickly asked, "Boss, what are you doing? This is very dangerous!"

"Third brother, don't worry, I'll be fine," Liu Hui laughed.

Liu Hui took out a specially made cloak from his storage space, threw it over himself, and leaped off the cliff. His body rapidly plummeted downward, but he continuously controlled the cloak. Propelled by the mountain wind, he actually started flying.

Liu Hui adjusted his gliding trajectory, speeding toward the direction the sniper was fleeing. He pinpointed the car, executed a light somersault in mid-air, and landed perfectly on the roof of the fleeing vehicle.

Without hesitation, Liu Hui materialized the sports car he had confiscated from Secretary Wei’s daughter from his storage space, launching it directly into the road in front of the sniper. The sniper, completely unprepared for the sports car suddenly appearing on the road ahead, slammed into it. The immense force sent the sports car flying, tumbling several times in the air. Meanwhile, the sniper’s car lost all control, its high speed carrying it directly into the mountain wall beside the road. The front end of the car was smashed to pieces, the entire body was emitting white steam, and the sniper inside was motionless.

Liu Hui approached carefully. He found the sniper covered in blood, pinned against the seat by the airbag. He shot a steel pellet at the sniper's thigh, but there was no reaction whatsoever.

Liu Hui breathed a sigh of relief. He quickly moved forward and used a steel pellet to burst the airbag, then pulled the sniper out. To his surprise, the sniper was still clutching a silver Desert Eagle. In the moment Liu Hui pulled him out, the sniper fired several shots at him.

Because the distance was too close, Liu Hui couldn't dodge, and all the bullets struck him. But in the sniper's disbelieving eyes, a crimson glow emanated from Liu Hui, blocking the handgun bullets outside his body. Then, the bullets expended their energy with a soft "pa" sound and dropped to the ground.

Liu Hui was furious. He raised his hand and shot a steel pellet into the sniper's throat. The sniper bled profusely from his throat and then, with unconcealed resentment, closed his eyes forever.

Liu Hui was drenched in sweat. He still lacked experience and had nearly capsized in a ditch. If the Hongguang Armor hadn't played its miraculous role at the critical moment, he might have been finished. He resolved that in future situations like this, he must never let his guard down, lest he be defeated at the last moment—that would be a huge joke.

Liu Hui dragged the assassin out. Only then did he have time to examine the body. The sniper was a middle-aged white man with an extremely plain and ordinary appearance. The steel pellet in his throat had truly killed him beyond any doubt.

Liu Hui searched the car carefully and found it spotlessly clean, with no suspicious items left inside. However, he hadn't held out much hope; it was more likely the assassin had stolen the vehicle.

While Liu Hui was examining the car, it finally burst into a violent explosion due to a fuel leak, erupting into fierce flames that destroyed any potential evidence. Helplessly, Liu Hui touched the unburnt rear of the car and drew the burning vehicle into his storage space. As soon as it entered the storage space, the intense fire was extinguished. Liu Hui was astonished and pulled the car out again, but the vehicle was now unrecognizable, nothing could be discerned from it.

Liu Hui reluctantly returned the car to his storage space, then stored the sports car that had been thrown in the crash as well. Zhou Tengyun hurried down from the mountaintop. Seeing that Liu Hui had already handled the assassin, he helped Liu Hui collect all the scattered car parts and stored them in the storage space. In the end, at the entire crash site, aside from the scrape marks, not a single piece of the involved vehicles could be found.

Finally, Liu Hui placed the assassin’s corpse into the storage space. He and Zhou Tengyun left the accident scene and returned to the location where the ambush was set. Unfortunately, aside from a few shell casings, there was nothing valuable left there. Resigned, they returned to the basement beneath the group company’s office building.

Liu Hui tossed the assassin's corpse out and, along with Zhou Tengyun, meticulously examined the body.

There was nothing on the corpse to prove his identity; he didn't even have a fake ID card or passport. Liu Hui searched for a while but found no clues. He sat dejectedly on the sand, while Zhou Tengyun continued his inspection.

"Boss, look at this?" Zhou Tengyun suddenly spoke, holding up a matchbox.

"What is this?" Liu Hui asked doubtfully.

"This was in the killer’s pocket. Look at the matchbox—right here," Zhou Tengyun pointed, indicating for Liu Hui to look.

"This seems to have three English letters written on it... What does this mean? Does it refer to a sauna? But what about the letter in the middle?" Liu Hui guessed wildly. "If he didn't just pick up this matchbox randomly, then these three letters might help us find them," Zhou Tengyun stated.

"Alright, when you get down there, start investigating based on these three letters. This time we must find them. Although I don't know who wanted to kill me, and I don't know if this assassin is part of the same group that sniped me at Bashan, we must retaliate this time. Otherwise, more and more assassins will come after us in the future," Liu Hui said fiercely.
