My deepest apologies to everyone! I am terribly sorry; the debt I owe is growing larger, and occasionally, I still have to take a day off from writing Kaihuang. The backlog has become insurmountable.
This isn't because Kaihuang has achieved some success and made me arrogant, nor is it due to laziness or any other external factor. Kaihuang doesn't wish to offer excuses; truthfully, the words simply aren't coming.
This novel, Shenhuang, is also a long work, surpassing four million characters, but the more I write it, the more I realize the limitations of my own ability. The previous book, Junlin, relied on the established backdrop of Fengshen, which made it relatively easier. Shenhuang, however, is a world that Kaihuang constructed entirely on my own, making the writing process immensely challenging. Maintaining excitement and appeal throughout makes it even harder.
Perhaps the next book will be better, now that I have this experience, but for the present Kaihuang, the situation can only be described as struggling at every step.
It is possible that going forward, there will be fewer updates or more gaps in my schedule. I sincerely hope everyone can understand. RS
