The dazzling mech exhibition had failed to draw Bai Lanxue out.

The Wolf’s Den personnel had their hearts pounding for three days, only to relax slightly before immediately tensing up again to their maximum alertness.

Because, at the upcoming battleship exhibition, Bai Lanxue was highly likely to make an appearance!

On the first day of the battleship exhibition, before dawn, a massive crowd of spectators surged to the exhibition hall entrance, waiting for it to open.

However, instead of removing all the mechs overnight and replacing them with battleships, the Wolf’s Den removed only some mechs and substituted robots, allowing those waiting for the battleship exhibit to admire them at their leisure.

Many people cried out in dissatisfaction—they had come to see battleships. Where were the battleships?

The Wolf’s Den customer service staff were unanimous, speaking only one word: "Wait."

The spectators craned their necks, waiting eagerly until nine o'clock, when staff members poured out of the exhibition hall, inviting them aboard tour vessels.

It was only then that the spectators belatedly realized that something the size of a battleship couldn't possibly be displayed casually in an exhibition hall; one had to go to space to see them.

While reporters were bombarding the airwaves with news of record-breaking visitor numbers, Bai Lanxue's shuttle quietly docked in the space station dry-dock of the Xi’lian Galaxy.

Inside the shuttle, Bai Lanxue’s face was icy, and she vented her anger at her subordinate: "Who said their battleship exhibition would be unguarded?"

If this massive display was considered unguarded, then what could possibly be called guarded?

The battleships' holographic screens were live-broadcasting the magnificent scene of the exhibition.

That was the advantage of space; above, below, front, back, left, right, every direction offered an excellent vantage point.

Hundreds of Dreadnoughts were lined up in a single formation across space, brazenly stretching out their formidable hulls. Their colors were uniform and solemn, pressing down on one's nerves like Mount Tai bearing down.

Furthermore, carriers were silently suspended in space, demanding attention without needing to show off.

They had actually developed carriers!

Gazing at the enormous Wolf’s Den emblem emblazoned on the hulls, Bai Lanxue almost spat a mouthful of blood onto the screen. If she had known this, she wouldn't have cared about anything else and gone for the kill first!

The feud was already set; she lacked the ability to eradicate them completely, and if they grew stronger, they would inevitably return for revenge.

This was a major taboo!

How many legions in space had perished due to the enemy’s retaliation?

Bai Lanxue could count them even with her eyes closed.

The intelligence officer backed away two steps fearfully. "I didn't know they would bring out so many Dreadnoughts for the exhibition."

If so many Dreadnoughts fired simultaneously, they would be reduced to dust in a second, without even wreckage remaining. Cold sweat beaded on the intelligence officer’s forehead; he certainly hadn't intended to poke this hornet's nest.

Bai Lanxue closed her eyes, then reopened them, asking, "What is the situation at Wolf’s Den headquarters?"

The intelligence officer consulted his data. "Wolf’s Den headquarters is generally empty. The Commander, the Combat Director, and the Strategic Weapon Director are all here in the Xi’lian Galaxy."

Bai Lanxue narrowed her eyes slightly. "Combat Director Hongfa? She’s not dead yet?"

The intelligence officer kept his head bowed. "Yes. She was severely wounded in the last battle and has yet to fully recover. Wolf's Den’s medical standards are low; when she returned, she had lost most of her vitality and remains very weak. These past few days, taking advantage of the exhibition, she has been hiding in the villa of the Wolf’s Den Strategic Weapon Director to recuperate."

Bai Lanxue sneered. "Good, very good! This is excellent!"

No one nearby dared to speak. Everyone felt Bai Lanxue had been somewhat erratic lately. Being targeted by her, even accidentally, was more terrifying than cosmic radiation.

But Bai Lanxue was calculating something else entirely.

The person she feared most within the Wolf’s Den was Hongfa.

As long as Hongfa hadn't recovered, everything would be manageable.

Currently, the entire Wolf's Den high command was feeling complacent and posed no real threat.

For the exhibition, they had moved all their robots, mechs, and battleships to the Xi’lian Galaxy. If she attacked the empty Wolf’s Den headquarters at this moment, then…

Bai Lanxue smiled ominously.

She issued the order almost instantly: "All hands, disguise yourselves as pirates, use all unregistered warships. Arrive at the perimeter systems of the Wolf’s Den headquarters by midnight tonight and stand ready. The Wolf’s Den battleship exhibition is only three days long; time is short. Move out immediately!"

At the same time, Ziye was also making arrangements.

The grand spectacle of the battleship exhibition was intended to confuse Bai Lanxue, making her abandon any thought of attacking the Xi’lian Galaxy and shift her focus to the Wolf’s Den headquarters instead.

She had two reasons for doing this: First, the visitors to the Xi’lian Galaxy came from all corners of the galaxy. If this exhibition proceeded smoothly, the Xi’lian Galaxy would soon ascend to the ranks of a first-tier interstellar space station. If it were attacked, she could probably sell off the entire space station and still not cover the compensation for all those lives lost.

Second, she couldn't bear to see the Xi’lian Galaxy, which she had spent a year building up, be destroyed.

When Ah Piao sent secret intelligence again, Ziye felt he was meddling, yet she couldn't help but be grateful that his information arrived so timely.

Ah Piao’s message was sent to only two people: Ziye and Hongfa.

At this moment, Hongfa arranged the headquarters, and Ziye arranged the Xi’lian Galaxy, continuing the deception.

At midnight that night, all of Bai Lanxue's forces were in position—except for her.

To avoid being caught in the crossfire, she withdrew to a remote space station in the same galaxy, taking on the role of supreme commander.

Soon, the mech scouts reported back: "They are all asleep, no anomalies detected."

Bai Lanxue narrowed her eyes, the cold glint within them sharpening into killing intent. "First Fleet, commence frontal assault in ten minutes!"

Ten minutes later, the first high-velocity particle cannon blast targeted the direction of the space station office. Immediately after, a barrage of high-velocity particle cannons, like sweeping laser fire, rained down upon the space station.

Their objective was singular: kill them in one strike!

High-velocity particle cannons were one of the least noisy types of large-scale destructive weapons upon firing and detonation.

The Wolf’s Den headquarters was located in the originally rented star system, too far away from public view. Unless someone was specifically visiting the Wolf’s Den, no outsiders would ever come near.

This was also one of the reasons Bai Lanxue chose the Wolf’s Den headquarters as her target.

A headquarters like this could be destroyed overnight without anyone noticing.

Bai Lanxue’s scheme seemed foolproof.

However, a bizarre anomaly occurred.

The high-velocity particle cannons could not penetrate the space station’s defensive shields.

The moment the particle cannons struck the space station, the station briefly warped, swirling like a vortex that caught the particle beams inside before snapping back to normal.

It looked incredibly resilient, almost flexible.

Bai Lanxue stared at the projection screen in her shuttle, her eyeballs nearly popping out.

What kind of terrifying defense was this? She had never seen a shield that could stretch!

Bai Lanxue felt a surge of blood rushing through her body, but she forcibly swallowed it down. "Second Fleet, begin the attack!"

This time, Bai Lanxue’s objective was a coordinated internal and external strike.

Most of the Second Fleet personnel were already inside the space station at the headquarters.

To maintain cover, they were not piloting Battleships or larger classes; most were Frigates, Destroyers, and shuttles.

Things that appeared physically tough were often easily destroyed from within.

She refused to believe that damned spatial shield could withstand it!
