Bastard!
Ziye’s eyes widened in shock, and then she looked up in surprise at the person holding her: “Teacher? Why are you here too?”
The bastard who made An Junlie want to kill someone was none other than Tang Wen, whose lips curved into a slight smile, clearly in high spirits. He murmured softly, “Ziye, I’ve missed you so much.”
Ziye glared at him and whispered, “Are you trying to get me killed? An Junlie is going to go crazy.”
Tang Wen gave a faint smile. “Is that so? Let me test it.”
Before Ziye could even process what he intended to do, Tang Wen leaned down and gently pressed a kiss on her right cheek.
Ziye was stunned speechless.
She felt she must be the most tragically doomed person in the world, because not only was she being forcefully kissed by another man in full view of everyone, but it was happening right in front of her boyfriend.
Pfft—a sound rang out.
Ziye looked up to see a red mark blooming on Tang Wen’s face.
What greeted her gaze was An Junlie’s furious glare—
The next second, she was yanked out of Tang Wen’s embrace by An Junlie.
An Junlie pulled her behind him and stated, “Stay away from my woman from now on.”
Tang Wen merely smiled, a smile so captivating it was like a thousand pear trees blooming in the wind. He possessed an inherently handsome face; his smile was like pristine spring snow. The native youths instantly felt as if they were beholding a single, resplendent bloom, and involuntarily held their breath.
What a beautiful person!
At least a hundred times more beautiful than all the women belonging to the Authority figure.
Yes, even more beautiful than Ziye.
Even the red mark inflicted by An Junlie’s slap looked as beautiful as a flower.
What An Junlie hated most were these scoundrels who charmed the masses with their looks. He stared coldly at him, preparing for another brawl.
Seeing this, Bu Lan rushed forward to stand in front of Tang Wen, protecting him.
Tang Wen stroked the stinging spot with his fingertip, chuckling coolly, “Bu Lan, step aside. You can handle anything else for me, but a fight, I must handle personally.”
With that, he cast a meaningful smile toward Ziye.
An Junlie’s face darkened slightly.
Ziye deliberately turned her face away. Weren't two grown men fighting rather embarrassing?
Tang Wen observed their expressions, stifling his laughter. Currently, besides his immediate family of three and Bu Lan, no one else knew Ziye was his sister.
Teasing the future brother-in-law felt rather good...
Tang Wen suddenly threw a punch, slamming it toward An Junlie’s cheek.
The two actually started fighting.
One, the young master of the Tang Clan and a world-renowned master designer; the other, the commander of the famous Angel Corps and a terrifying strategist—when they fought, they resembled two unruly youths.
Bu Lan covered his face, unable to watch.
If people in space saw them acting like this, they wouldn't know whether to laugh or not.
They truly weren't caring about their reputations at all.
“Good hit! Keep it up!”
“It’s best if both get badly hurt, then no one can steal Ziye away!”
“Who do you think will lose?”
Seeing some entertainment, the youths quickly gathered around, heckling and applauding.
Ziye rushed in front of them and shouted, “Aren’t you two ashamed?”
Every time she saw a fist land on the other man, she felt…
They acted as if they hadn't heard her, continuing to viciously pummel each other.
Ziye stamped her foot in frustration. It felt awful whether An Junlie hit Tang Wen or Tang Wen hit An Junlie. One was her deeply respected yet maddeningly frustrating mentor, and the other was her beloved boyfriend.
She wished they could coexist peacefully, but that seemed almost impossible for these two.
Ziye clenched her fists, deciding to ignore these two fools, turned, boarded her mecha, and left.
Let them fight however they wanted.
Out of sight, out of mind.
Seeing Ziye leave, the youths also dispersed in a flurry. They rushed to their own vehicles, abandoning their surveillance and the trash collecting. They all followed Ziye’s departure.
Their arrival gave them a feeling: Ziye would not be staying on the Junk Planet for long.
The only thing they could do was try their best not to let her leave.
The mecha flew low, skimming past junk mountains one after another.
The changes on the Junk Planet over the past month were evident to all.
The junk mountains were growing shorter and shrinking, the residential areas were expanding, buildings were growing larger, lights were shining brighter, mechas were becoming more sophisticated, and high-tech products were increasing.
Although to outsiders the Junk Planet still seemed filled with countless piles of trash, they clearly understood how much their lives had improved.
All of this was brought by Ziye.
Ziye was their goddess.
The youths followed Ziye all the way to the rear of the residential area.
That area was piled high with various types of metal, where Butler W and the G-series girl were working diligently, backs bent toward the earth.
Upon her return, Ziye greeted the two robots and walked into the house.
The house was spacious; it was originally one of the Authority figure's secondary residences, but because Ziye had displayed extraordinary talent, it had been gifted to her.
Ziye’s design and calculation work was nearly complete.
The entire planet’s mineral resources had also been surveyed. It was time to leave.
Ziye walked around the room. All the furniture and decorations had been sent by the planet’s inhabitants; there was nothing of her own.
Yet, for some inexplicable reason, a sense of reluctance welled up in her heart.
She thought she was accustomed to partings and reunions, but only when preparing to leave did she realize that sadness could still arise.
Ziye placed her hand on the door, but seeing numerous mechas landing outside her window, she couldn't help but step outside.
“Goddess, please don't go!” Xiao Bai rushed up first, throwing himself in front of her and clinging to her leg. “Don’t go, we can’t live without you!”
Ziye felt touched but did not soften. “This is not my ideal place. I have to leave; I’m sorry.”
When the others heard Ziye speak of leaving, their hearts sank halfway. They surrounded Ziye from all sides: “Is it those two fighting men? Are they here to take you away? If so, we’ll go break their legs!”
Ziye hurriedly explained, “It has nothing to do with them. I am actually very grateful that they found me and came to escort me. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known how to leave.”
The youths’ hearts shattered.
They looked at each other, then back at Ziye, their expressions filled with sorrow.
Ziye didn't know what to say.
She truly couldn't bear to leave this group of young men.
Over the past month, she had devoted herself to teaching them mechanics, mechas, physics, chemistry, and astrophysics; teaching them how to build equipment...
Among them, ten youths showed exceptional talent, and in just one month, they were already capable of managing tasks independently.
Ziye sighed internally.
Just then, someone blurted out, “If you leave, we’ll go with you!”
This statement was seconded by the rest, and everyone chimed in: “Yes, we’ll all go with you!”
Ziye’s eyes misted over, and she shook her head. “Once we reach space, I won’t have enough time to supervise all of you. Until the orbital transfer lanes are established around the Junk Planet, it won't be convenient for you to return.”
Xiao Hei shouted loudly, “It doesn’t matter! As long as we are with you, we fear nothing! You taught us how to learn. We want to explore space, learn more, and return to transform our planet.”
Ziye felt conflicted.
An Junlie and the others seemed to have arrived in mechas, making it impossible to bring so many people.
Moreover, taking so many people away would likely make their parents weep themselves to death.
Ziye sighed and said, “Go ask your mothers and fathers first. Also, I can take a maximum of ten. I can’t take any more.”
The youths’ eyes lit up—this meant there was hope.
Four or five people, worried she might use an excuse to slip away quietly, stayed near the entrance to watch her. The others rushed off to find their parents.
An Junlie and Tang Wen had finished their fight and rushed over in their mechas to find Ziye just as the youths were dispersing.
This time, An Junlie finally had the chance to see Ziye standing by the door, smiling. His heart melted. He dismounted his mecha, opened his arms, lifted Ziye up, and spun her around and around.
Ziye could finally feel his warm chest again and couldn't help but rub her head against his chest, murmuring, “My…”
An Junlie softly replied, “Yours.”
Ziye shook her head. “Wrong. Where is my Douzai?”
An Junlie’s expression stiffened. “I was busy looking for you during this time and didn't have time to care for it. I entrusted it to Yin Yin.”
Ziye snorted and nipped him lightly on the nose. “Excuses! You couldn't even take good care of my pet. I despise you.”
An Junlie felt utterly wronged.
It wasn't easy being a boyfriend! He had spent a month worrying himself sick over her disappearance, thinking several times that she might already be dead, losing several pounds in the process, yet Ziye seemed to ignore everything else and only cared about her Douzai.
He wasn't even as important as a pet—how heartbreaking!
The only thing An Junlie was happy about was that Tang Wen ranked lower than him in Ziye’s heart.
Ziye used both hands to pinch his cheeks. “Unhappy?”
An Junlie dared not complain, laughing, “As long as you are in my arms, I am happy anytime.”
Ziye hmphed inwardly. “Haven’t seen you in a few days, and you’re getting better at talking.”
An Junlie sighed again.
Appeasing a woman was too difficult.
However, he was genuinely happy deep down.
Only when Ziye was safe in his embrace could he finally be completely at ease.
Everything else didn't matter; he just wanted her alive and safe.
An Junlie gazed at her face, suddenly wanting to bite her. He hadn't seen her in so long, and his longing had overflowed. Given that others were nearby, he hesitated to act, saying only, “If you don’t believe me, come back to space with me, and I’ll prove it to you.”
Speaking of which, Ziye remembered something. “Hey, can you take others to space? A few of the youths want to go out and see the world.”
An Junlie pondered. “What is your purpose in taking them out?”
Ziye said matter-of-factly, “Just to see the world.” As soon as the words left her mouth, she realized something. “A few of them are very talented. If they have good learning opportunities, they could become outstanding people in the future.”
An Junlie smiled. “Good, I’ll help you take them. If you take them out to space, you can have them help you build mecha warships later, so you won't have to work so hard alone.”
Ziye’s eyes lit up. “Great idea!”
They were indeed prime material for subordinates!
However, Ziye puffed out her cheeks again. “What about the mechas? We can’t bring those.”
