The periphery of the Spiral Star Domain was a sea of comets composed of pure starlight.

Giant comets, thousands of kilometers in diameter, trailed tails tens of thousands to millions of miles long, hurtling through the void and weaving a great net of death around the Spiral Star Domain's edge. At the core of every comet were dense runes set by Innate Star Lords, holding untold mysteries, subtly aligning with the rules of Heaven and Earth, possessing the power to destroy all things.

Riding atop a colossal swan, the Great Brahma frowned deeply, gazing at the vast net before him, his expression exceedingly grim.

He had just cast out a thread of divine sense to probe the true nature of the Spiral Star Domain, only for dozens of comets to scream toward it, much like ferocious tigers pouncing on lambs, effortlessly tearing, swallowing, and completely digesting his divine sense.

As his sense was shredded, the Great Brahma distinctly perceived a terrifying dread, akin to standing before a primal, bloodthirsty beast. Whoever laid these comet restrictions could not be an ordinary person. Either they originated from the Primordial Desolation, or their cultivation methods inherited the legacy of some powerful figures from that era; otherwise, they could not possess such an aura. "I shouldn't have coveted the Daoist inheritances of Kunlun and Zhongnan back then!" The Great Brahma began to regret his decision.

His initial dispatch of Vishnu and Chamunda to rescue the disciples of Kunlun and Zhongnan was not motivated by humanism or harmony in the mortal realm. It was purely because the Dharma Protector Heavens sought to acquire the cultivation scriptures of those two sects, and incidentally recruit a cohort of cannon fodder for their use.

"It wasn't worth it! The Daoist arts they inherited are truly garbage, beneath my notice. Their cultivation is also laughably weak, unfit even as cannon fodder. To offend the Nine Ponds Dao for them, it now seems like a losing proposition. A massive loss," the Great Brahma muttered to himself, his face growing uglier.

Seeing the slight, he knew the monumental. If the restrictions on the periphery of the Spiral Star Domain could so easily shatter one thread of his divine sense, he could only imagine the state of the restrictions at the core, and thus, the level of the person—or entity—who established, generated, and controlled these restrictions. Subconsciously crossing his arms over his chest, the Great Brahma closed his eyes.

He had made a terrible move. The Kunlun and Zhongnan sects were truly paper tigers; such a grand facade hiding such meager assets. This venture was a loss! Suddenly, several comets ahead halted, hovering in the void and spinning rapidly.

Those comets parted, creating a Star Gate from which a flood of purple auspicious clouds erupted. A cascade of starlight poured down, revealing a pristine white jade archway, as luminous as snow.

The legions of Heavenly Soldiers and Demon Immortals parted, aligning themselves in a wild-goose formation. Banners accompanied by celestial music slowly emerged, and a throne, pitch-black like ink, chilling to the bone, floated forth, flanked by a host of Nine Nether Dao Demon Immortals. The Corpse Emperor, armored and hand resting on his sword hilt, sat upon the throne, coldly observing the lone Great Brahma suspended in the void. Releasing his hands, the Great Brahma formed a peculiar mudra with both hands and slightly bowed, offering a salute to the Corpse Emperor. "You must be the former Sect Master of the Nine Ponds Dao, the Corpse Emperor! Hmm, those who cultivate Dao enjoy worry-free lives and long blessings. As the Supreme Sect Master, where is the majesty of a true leader?" Upon meeting, the Great Brahma effortlessly cast out words designed to sow discord.

Hearing the Great Brahma, the Corpse Emperor burst into uproarious laughter. The Emperor’s voice was full of vigor; a single laugh lasted a full quarter of an hour before finally ceasing. Glaring fiercely at the Great Brahma, the Corpse Emperor curtly spat out two words: "Nonsense!"

The Great Brahma nodded, his expression unchanged. He smiled naturally, "It seems Corpse Emperor and the Evil Dragon Saint Monarch have feelings as deep as master and father. But tell me, among the Corpse Emperor’s numerous disciples, the Saint Monarch is not the eldest; how did he come to inherit the mantle of leadership?" Another sentence intended to provoke discord. This time, the Corpse Emperor didn't even bother to reply.

However, Guohua rolled his eyes at the Great Brahma and sneered, "Stop spouting rubbish. Even though this is the vacuum where ordinary people’s farts can’t be smelled, you are still a divine being. A divine being’s fart surely stinks for eighty thousand li!"

Sighing lightly, Guohua looked up to the heavens in lament, "Let's be honest. Which junior brother will save me from this predicament? These positions of Royal Advisor and Supervising Elder, I’ll give them up—all of them! Just please stop making me manage things; I’ll even hand over my private savings!"

Yan Jiang and the other core disciples of the Nine Ponds Dao uniformly took several steps back, not a single one acknowledging Guohua.

Throwing his hands up in resignation towards the Great Brahma, Guohua mocked, "See? These are our brothers from the Nine Ponds Dao. Every single one is as lazy as a pig. My junior brother Yu has been a hands-off manager for over a hundred years, running off with his dear wife for a honeymoon."

Yan Jiang added from the side, "To judge a gentleman by the measure of a petty man—this reveals the extent of the internal strife within the Dharma Protector Heavens!"

The Great Brahma was speechless. He pondered for a long moment, then shook his head helplessly, "Strange, strange. Your Nine Ponds Dao is truly unlike any immortal cultivation sect I have ever encountered. The relationship between master and disciple, and between the members—it is both respectable and lamentable."

With a soft sigh, the Great Brahma tossed a black stone bead, the size of a human head, toward the Corpse Emperor. He said coldly, "This contains the construction blueprints for the Three-Linking City, along with a complete list of all required materials. If you have the capability, you can easily replicate a Three-Linking City!"

The Corpse Emperor caught the black stone bead, weighing it in his palm. He spat out a stream of black fire that scorched the bead intensely. Sparks flashed across the bead, but nothing else happened. Only then did the Corpse Emperor nod, "Very strange. You haven't tampered with it?"

The Great Brahma threw his head back dismissively, "Tamper with it? You underestimate us. The blueprint for a mere Three-Linking City—we don't value it that highly."

The Great Brahma inwardly sneered. If Shiva could destroy a Three-Linking City with one arrow, what difference would it make if Gu Wuchen replicated one? Especially since he likely didn't possess that many materials, nor did he have artisans with such exquisite skill to construct the Three-Linking City.

The Three-Linking City demanded extremely high standards from its craftsmen; every brick and tile had to resonate at a constant frequency to integrate flawlessly and form the true, never-falling structure.

Therefore, this city could only be built by a single master craftsman. Introducing a second person would cause discrepancies in the frequency of the components, leading to the entire city’s collapse. The Dharma Protector Heavens were fortunate to have found Ducart, who could control countless clones for such a massive construction project. Could Gu Xichen's subordinates possess such a monster? This blueprint, in essence, held no value whatsoever.

After thinking smugly for a moment, the Great Brahma roared fiercely, "In exchange for the blueprint of the Three-Linking City, I want Lakshmi. Where is Lakshmi?"

The Corpse Emperor stared at the Great Brahma as if he were an idiot. He picked his ear, blew the accumulated wax off his fingernail, and asked contemptuously, "Trading the blueprint of the Three-Linking City for Goddess Lakshmi? When did we agree to such terms?" The Great Brahma became furious and roared, "Back then, Shiva he..." A light chuckle echoed from afar across the void. Gu Xichen appeared, hand-in-hand with Fuya Mingkong. Stretching leisurely and cracking his back, Gu Wuchen laughed heartily, "Did Shiva say that I reached such an agreement with him back then? Very well, let it be so! The blueprint for the Three-Linking City, you say?" The Great Brahma stood proudly, "Of course, the blueprint for the Three-Linking City. Would I lie to you?" "Excellent!"

Taking the black stone bead handed over by the Corpse Emperor, Gu Xichen probed it with his divine sense. He promptly summoned the Chaos Bell, which spat out a beam of chaotic spiritual light. Lakshmi, scorched black and nearly disfigured by the Chaos Heaven-Opening Divine Thunder, stumbled out of the light, gasping for breath.

As soon as she escaped the chaotic light, Lakshmi cursed and lashed out with all ten fingers toward Gu Xichen's face. Fuya Mingkong sneered, shouting sharply, "What trash dares touch him?"

Swinging her hand back, Fuya Mingkong slapped Lakshmi hard across the face, sending her tumbling far away toward the Great Brahma. Startled and then instantly delighted, the Great Brahma caught Lakshmi, pulling her tightly into his embrace. He soothed her, "Lakshmi, your injuries are severe. Don't move; I will heal you!"

Without waiting for Lakshmi’s objection, the Great Brahma revealed his four-faced divine form, extending six arms to firmly grip Lakshmi’s hands, legs, and waist, forcibly holding her close. He positioned her legs to thread between his ribs and wrap around his back.

Triumphantly inhaling the faint, delicate fragrance emanating from Lakshmi, the Great Brahma felt his very soul soaring.

After three loud laughs, the Great Brahma, without another word, forcefully injected his magical power and a portion of his vital essence into Lakshmi's body.

Lakshmi struggled and resisted violently, but the Great Brahma refused to let go. He gazed at her tenderly, whispering softly, "Lakshmi, do you know? When you first emerged from the Sea of Milk, I immediately..."

Before the words were finished, Fuya Mingkong flashed forward and appeared before the Great Brahma. She admonished him calmly, "Do not do things a woman does not wish!"

Grabbing the Great Brahma’s head, Fuya Mingkong lifted him with ease, then delivered a sharp kick to his rear, sending him flying a great distance. The Great Brahma let out an outcry of disbelief, transforming into a streak of light in an instant, soaring through the vast void, disappearing somewhere unknown.

Lakshmi glanced fearfully at Fuya Mingkong, lowered her head, and dared not speak another word. She hastily commanded the Great Brahma's swan mount, and the two spiritual lights rushed off in the direction the Great Brahma had vanished.

Fuya Mingkong smiled sweetly, her figure flowing like a clear breeze. Before the Corpse Emperor and the others could even register her movements, she had silently returned to Gu Xichen's side. She had surged out from the crowd, effortlessly subdued the Great Brahma, kicked him away, and returned to Gu Xichen in a movement as fluid as flowing water. The entire sequence was utterly devoid of earthly friction, perfectly harmonizing with the Great Dao. The Corpse Emperor, replaying Fuya Mingkong's movements in his mind, grew increasingly horrified. Fuya Mingkong's power had reached a realm beyond his imagination. His body suddenly felt rooted, and the Corpse Emperor gasped, "Grandmist Realm... or perhaps..."

Fuya Mingkong bowed respectfully to the Corpse Emperor, speaking softly, "The Grandmist Realm is still one step short of the Saint realm!" Just one step away from sainthood.

The Corpse Emperor, Guohua, Yan Jiang, and everyone else who heard Fuya Mingkong’s statement sucked in a sharp breath, followed by an eruption of wild joy. Only one step separated her from sainthood, meaning Fuya Mingkong had already touched the threshold of becoming a Saint. Then, what about Gu Xichen, who had always been a significant step ahead of her? The Corpse Emperor leaped up abruptly, seizing Gu Wuchen's neck and squeezing hard. "You reckless brat, what realm are you in? What realm are you in? What the hell realm are you in?"

Gu Xichen rolled his eyes, sticking his tongue out, nearly passing out from the Corpse Emperor’s grip. Only then did the others notice that Gu Xichen exhibited no turbulent energy, no spiritual fluctuations. If he hadn't been standing right in front of them, no one would have noticed Gu Wuchen's presence.

He was like a drop of blood in the ocean, a single ray of starlight in the Grand Star Formation, a grain of sand in the desert, an inconspicuous nebula among the myriad stars—perfectly blended with his surroundings. Everyone gasped in awe. What kind of realm was this?

Finally prying the Corpse Emperor's hands away, Gu Xichen gasped, "Master, please don't exert yourself. Fuya is one step from becoming a Saint. As for me... hehehe, one of my feet is already through the door, and the other..."

He paused for a moment, then sighed toward the heavens, "The heights are unbearably lonely. I truly cherish that period when I was merely a human. Therefore, I have decided that I will not lift the other foot until someone accompanies me!"

The Corpse Emperor immediately understood his meaning.

The heights were unbearably lonely. After Gu Xichen had grazed the edge of the Great Dao and glimpsed a sliver of the true face of the Heavenly Dao, he could achieve that supreme fruition at any moment. However, he was afraid to take that final step. He could become a Saint, an unparalleled, supreme Saint, whenever he chose. But this fellow was inherently lazy, and for the moment, he simply didn't wish to take that step.

Guohua, Mahakala, Siren, and a few others with the worst characters grinned widely, laughing with utter delight. The fact that Gu Xichen could become a Saint at any moment meant they effectively had a Saint as a backer. In this world without a Saint, within the Three Realms, across the Nine Heavens and Nine Hells, they... this group of cultivators—the disgrace of the Daoist path, the epitome of immortals, the scourge of the Three Realms, a bunch of thorough villainous bastards—could now act with utter impunity!

Mahakala joyously clasped his hands together and chanted a Buddhist phrase. "Namo Amitabha Buddha, Junior Sister Qingyin, we are truly destined. No person, no power, can stop us from being together!" Prajna snorted in anger and delivered a kick that sent Mahakala flying far away.

Gently stroking the black stone bead in his hand, Gu Xichen chuckled lightly, "Well now. The blueprints for the Three-Linking City—they actually sent them over willingly? Although returning Goddess Lakshmi means we lost a bit, well... she wasn't much use in our hands anyway, so returning her is fine!"

He let out a cold laugh and whispered quietly, "Now, we need to properly calculate how to utilize these blueprints."

After muttering a few phrases, Gu Xichen cheerfully smiled at the Corpse Emperor, "Master, I have good news: Fuya is pregnant." The Corpse Emperor froze for a moment, then burst into sudden ecstasy. He eagerly asked, "When did this happen?"

Gu Xichen smiled and shook his head, "I don't know the exact time. It was when we felt a mutual resonance, a connection in spirit and body, so it just happened naturally. It was when we were allowing our spirits to wander the cosmos, when the Cosmic World was completely within our grasp, that we failed to notice precisely when it occurred." He sighed, spreading his hands in a wry smile, "The bad news is, according to my calculations, if Fuya carries the child normally, it will likely take three Kalpas for him to be born. Over one hundred billion years!" Hiss— The Corpse Emperor and the others sucked in a sharp breath as if experiencing severe toothache.

Fuya Mingkong and Gu Xichen exchanged helpless, wry smiles. For two Quasi-Saints to conceive a profound embryo that required three Kalpas to manifest was, in a way, perfectly reasonable. However, the thought itself was agonizingly difficult, agonizingly difficult, agonizingly difficult! With a deep sigh, Gu Xichen lowered his voice and spoke a few words.

Goddess Lakshmi transformed into a streak of rainbow light, shooting through the void. She absorbed the spiritual energy of Heaven and Earth to replenish her consumption. In just one hour, she completely healed the injuries inflicted by the Chaos Heaven-Opening Divine Thunder and restored her depleted vitality. With a slight twist of her form, radiant glazed light spilled forth, and Lakshmi instantly regained her exquisitely beautiful, flawless, and peerless demeanor. She found the Great Brahma inside a massive impact crater on a neutron star.

The Great Brahma was stuck upside down in the crater in an utterly pathetic state, his legs trembling slightly. Even after all this time, he couldn't extract himself from that awkward position.

Lakshmi frowned, sending out a beam of treasure light to pull the Great Brahma free. Shivering, the Great Brahma sat cross-legged on the ground, circulating his power to recover. After a long while, he barely managed to regain some strength.

His face flushed with shame, the Great Brahma stared at Lakshmi and ground out through gritted teeth, "That damned woman, I will make her pay! I absolutely will not let her go! When I, Vishnu, and Shiva have completely refined the Buddhist restrictions left by Jiedi and Zhunti within the body of our Dharma Protector Heavens, and when I have recovered my full, true strength, I will certainly make her pay!"

Looking at the Great Brahma, who resembled a defeated rooster, Lakshmi snorted dismissively. She pressed him for details about who gave him the brilliant idea to bring the Three-Linking City blueprints in exchange for her. As expected, the one who suggested the plan was Shiva.

Shiva had solemnly assured the Great Brahma that he had previously agreed with Gu Xichen that if the Dharma Protector Heavens were willing to surrender the Three-Linking City blueprints, they could trade them back for Goddess Lakshmi. Now that the Three-Linking City was complete, and Lakshmi held irreplaceable importance for the Dharma Protector Heavens' next phase, the Great Brahma had eagerly volunteered to carry the blueprints to the Spiral Star Domain.

Lakshmi let out a cold laugh. She stared at the Great Brahma and shouted coldly, "You were deceived by Shiva!"

She recounted the entire agreement struck between Shiva and Gu Wuchen during their past confrontation. Then, Lakshmi transformed into a seven-colored precious light and vanished.

During their old gamble, Shiva had never actually stated that the blueprints could be traded back for Lakshmi. The agreement was that if Gu Xichen lost, Lakshmi would be released, and Gu Xichen would submit to the Dharma Protector Heavens; if Shiva lost, Lakshmi would certainly not be released, and Shiva would have to hand over the Three-Linking City blueprints. The Great Brahma stared blankly in the direction Lakshmi had vanished, his teeth grinding fiercely.

"Shiva, you schemed against me? You wanted me to look as ridiculous as you all?" The Great Brahma was so angry his teeth ached. After raging for a moment, he suddenly laughed coldly, "Interesting. If that's the case, why did the Evil Dragon Saint Monarch return Lakshmi? Was it just so she could tell me this?"

After contemplating seriously for a period, the Great Brahma, his brow deeply furrowed, leaped onto the swan's back and sped back toward the Three-Linking City at maximum velocity.

However, Gu Wuchen arrived at the Three-Linking City even earlier than the Great Brahma and Goddess Lakshmi. And Gu Xichen was not alone. Within the Lunar Profound Pearl were the Corpse Emperor and core disciples like Guohua, who were using the lunar qi to temper their bodies and enhance their cultivation. Within the Solar Profound Pearl were Siren, Aredia, Prajna, Mahakala, and others, utilizing the solar qi to advance their cultivation.

As for Gu Wuchen's Sea of Consciousness, it housed half of the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals from the Thirty-Three Heavens. Gu Xichen’s Solar Primordial Spirit manifested within the Sea of Consciousness, currently expounding Daoist teachings to these troops.

Meanwhile, Fuya Mingkong had taken on the full role of the Nine Ponds Dao's Chief Administrator, diligently managing affairs according to Gu Xichen's instructions.

Gazing from afar at the incomprehensibly vast Three-Linking City, Gu Xichen shifted his steps and materialized among a gathering of Asura warriors waiting in line to enter the city. At this moment, Gu Xichen’s appearance had also changed: three heads, six arms, three legs, his skin dyed indigo blue, covered in large, strange runes painted with white pigment, and a chilling white great serpent coiled around his neck—the form of an Asura warrior.

The white great serpent was transformed from the Profound Ice Rope. Merely the chill it unintentionally radiated frightened the ordinary Asura warriors standing near Gu Xichen, who quickly drew back. They gazed with reverence at the ten-zhang-tall Gu Wuchen and bowed their heads respectfully.

Among the Asura race, the greatest indicators of their standing in power were the number of heads, arms, and thighs they possessed, as well as the quantity of fangs protruding from their lips, whether they bore wings on their backs, horns upon their heads, and ultimately, the sheer size they could achieve in their natural form.

Should an ordinary Asura stand nearly a hundred li tall, boast hundreds of heads, thousands of arms, dozens of legs, their entire body sprouting like the branches of a massive tree stump, their mouths crammed with fangs and bristles, each head sporting dozens of eyes, their crowns adorned with a chaotic jumble of bull, goat, and dragon horns, spewing poisonous black smoke, wreathed in flame, and draped with several great dragons and serpents—there was no doubt this individual was a rare hero among the Asura people.

But if an Asura male stood merely one meter eighty tall, possessed a face as flawless and pale as jade, handsome and radiant as a beauty, then without question, this was an Asura pretty-boy, a wretch whose status in the race was lower than that of the women, condemned to endlessly clean latrines and scrub floors.

For someone like Gu Xiechen, with his height, his attire, and his looks, he could at least be considered the prince of a minor Asura tribe, or at the very least, a formidable junior general among the Asura forces.

Even if the surrounding Asura warriors did not recognize him, that was hardly an issue. Many Asura Kings and Great Generals could not even recognize all their own offspring; having countless wives and concubines, they regularly abducted numerous women from foreign tribes each year, meaning they themselves had no clear count of their daughters, sons, or direct descendants.

Therefore, Gu Xiechen gripped the long serpent coiled around his neck, his three heads and nine eyes glaring fiercely at the Hufa Zhutian soldiers guarding the city gate. The ordinary Asura warriors waiting to enter the city ahead of him promptly cleared a space with their families, respectfully ushering him to enter first.

Head held high, he strode swaggeringly through the gate, casually commandeering a strange beast—a Si Buxiang that an Asura warrior with two heads was using to haul personal effects—and riding it into Sanlian City with a cheerful laugh.

The Asura warrior whose mount Gu Xiechen had just snatched seemed to hold some status within the tribe; he furiously cursed at Gu Wuchen and lunged forward, ready to strike with his fist. However, this minor character, whose strength was perhaps equivalent to the peak of a Celestial Immortal, was instantly frozen solid by a blast of icy air from the white serpent on Gu Wuchen’s neck. The surrounding Asura warriors were so terrified they dared not move. Only after Gu Xiechen had fully entered Sanlian City did the other Asura warriors swarm forward, rescuing the warrior who had been turned into an ice sculpture, and promptly stripping him bare of all his armor, weapons, and possessions.

In the blink of an eye, this unlucky Asura warrior had transformed from a minor local magnate with wealth to a destitute peasant.

Gu Xiechen had no time to spare for the misfortune of that wretch; being robbed by a future Saint, the unlucky Asura should feel honored.

Curiously, he walked into Sanlian City, preparing to properly enjoy the scenery of the Black Titanium Lake within the city, when suddenly a massive fireball, a thousand li in diameter, shrieked down from above. Gu Xiechen was greatly startled, and he hastily extended his six arms to shield his head.

The fireball roared down, engulfing Gu Wuchen along with the hundreds of thousands of nearby Asura warriors in one sweeping motion.

The fireball rapidly compressed and condensed. Barely a trillionth of a second later, the ball exploded violently, and the terrifying heatwave, carried by the shockwave, rushed outward in all directions, instantly covering the city area spanning ten thousand li. Millions of structures vanished in the conflagration, and perhaps hundreds of millions of Asura warriors perished in that single attack.

Yet, Sanlian City truly lived up to its name as the city that never fell. Despite so many structures being pulverized by the strike, the ground of the city did not sustain even the slightest dent. Complex and profound magical runes rolled across the surface, firmly protecting the city’s main structure from damage. Gu Xiechen lifted his head in bewilderment and subconsciously glanced at the surrounding area, which had been transformed into a wasteland.

Just moments ago, it had been a garden-like city brimming with the songs of birds and the scent of flowers; now, it was a desert spanning ten thousand li. The contrast between before and after was far too stark, wasn't it?

At first, Gu Xiechen suspected a powerful being with great divine abilities was stationed within the city, and upon realizing he was not an Asura, they had launched a surprise attack against him. But upon closer inspection, that was entirely wrong; the entire urban area was embroiled in chaos, so utterly disordered it was indescribable.

Thousands of emaciated ascetic Immortals, clad in white robes and bearing withered faces, floated high in the void. They wielded wooden staffs and roared hysterically, constantly shouting the names of various women. But for a long time, no one answered the cries of these old Immortals.

Thus, these old Immortals furiously struck their wooden staffs down, unleashing countless fireballs, meteors, icebergs, and slicing wheels from the sky, bombarding this district of the Black Iron City until it was utterly devastated. Countless Asura warriors who had just entered the city, and those who had been inside for a long time, were instantly reduced to ash by this terrifying onslaught.

However, clusters of lotus flowers carrying sheets of clear spring water continuously descended from the void. The Asura warriors who had just been killed were instantly reborn from their ashes. They cheered loudly, brandishing their fists and weapons, and charged toward the old Immortals.

The old Immortals shrieked with rage, frantically summoning various attacks to rapidly slaughter hordes of Asura.

But the sheer number of Asura was too vast—they were endless. Moreover, every time a batch of Asura was killed, they would regenerate in the blink of an eye under the mighty magical power of Sanlian City. The Immortals were continually forced into retreat, and if they were not careful, the surging Asura would reach them.

Pitiable were these ascetic Immortals; their magical powers and divine abilities were incredibly potent, but their physical bodies were as fragile as tofu custard.

The physically robust Asura warriors, almost instantly, tore the thousands of old Immortals to shreds. Subsequently, the clear spring water jetted down, and the old Immortals revived again. But the Asura charged back in, grinding them into meat paste once more.

In the span of just fifteen minutes, Gu Wuchen watched these old Immortals die and revive, revive and die, repeating the cycle hundreds of times. This method of being unable to live and yet unable to die was comparable to any form of torture in the world.

Shaking his head, Gu Xiechen was utterly mesmerized. The internal conflict among the Hufa Zhutian was so fierce, so spectacular—truly an unmissable spectacle!

After a moment of thought, Gu Wuchen hurriedly and secretly released the Corpse Emperor and Guogua, along with the group, which naturally included Monkey, Yang Jian, and the brothers Kongsangri—all those who loved to watch a good show.

Having spent millennia together, the Corpse Emperor and the others had thoroughly mastered the Seventy-Two Transformations mastered by Monkey and Yang Jian. Immediately, everyone transformed, mimicking Gu Wuchen by becoming bizarrely shaped Asura warriors. However, everyone coiled a white serpent around their necks; this served as a small, secret signal between them, in case of trouble, or if they ended up fighting the Asura, they might accidentally strike their own allies with fists or clubs.

This secret marker was especially necessary considering the group included figures like Monkey, who, once engaged in a fight, tended to become utterly indiscriminate.

Just as they finished their transformation, several golden carriages whistled past in the void, and several Heavenly Gods standing on the vehicles shouted sternly, "By the command of Shiv and Vishnu, all combat must cease immediately! Everyone halt the fighting!"

But the words of these Heavenly Gods seemed to have no effect. A pack of Asura, fierce as wolves and tigers, charged forward, quickly beating the gleaming Heavenly Gods until their faces were bruised and swollen, thoroughly robbing them of their dazzling golden armor, weapons, and carriages.

Pitiable was one of them, a graceful female Heavenly God, who was forcibly dragged to the ground by dozens of Asura. These Asura, whose physiques were comparable to a hundred lions and tigers combined, cackled as they surrounded her, and instantly, a scream echoed across thousands of li.

Gu Xiechen and the band of scoundrels including Guogua watched with ecstatic cheers, loudly applauding. The accumulated anger and fear repressed over countless years by the Hufa Zhutian were unleashed at this moment; this bout of fighting and battering was truly brilliant.

Just as they were clapping and stomping their feet, cheering on the group of Asura, a dull thud sounded in the void. Indra, standing a hundred zhang tall, his body shimmering with bright light, clad in golden armor, wielding a thunderbolt staff and a lotus flower, and riding a six-tusked giant elephant, Aravata, roared as he appeared from the void.

Behind Indra were the God of Love Kama, the Sun God Marici, the God of Wealth Kubera, and other powerful Heavenly Gods, along with billions upon billions of Asura divine soldiers.

Indra gazed coldly at the stunned Asura, swept his thunderbolt staff, and countless Heavenly Gods roared as they charged down. With Indra’s entry into the battle, the internal strife in Sanlian City abruptly escalated.

Gu Xiechen laughed heartily, leading Corpse Emperor and the others into the fray. His initial target fell upon Indra. It might be difficult to kill Indra within Sanlian City, but he certainly possessed many valuable treasures! This week had been a five-day burst; Pig Head will rest one day on Saturday, then continue the explosion...

Alas, looking at my manuscript record, nearly a hundred thousand words were posted in December, all within these four or five days... Pig Head's trotters are starting to give out.”

Taking a day off for relaxation outside, please be understanding! F
