It wasn't just Gu Xiechen mimicking the movements of the two flying long sabers; the Great Revolving King was also comprehending the trajectory of the Soul-Severing Saber's flight, and Soul-Severing was simultaneously studying the trajectory of the Great Revolving King's aerial attacks. Just like Gu Wuchen, the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing were completing the missing pieces of the Dao of Slaughter within themselves.

Gu Xiechen let out a cold laugh, squinting as he watched the two sabre-wheels, his hand movements suddenly accelerating a hundredfold.

The Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing had to focus entirely on controlling their own saber-qi to attack the enemy while simultaneously trying to decipher the enemy's assassination trajectories. This dual focus meant that their comprehension of the Dao of Slaughter gained was actually less than what Gu Xiechen was achieving. Especially Gu Xiechen, whose eyes, mutated by the infusion of Pangu True Blood, possessed a miraculous power. Every move of the two sabre-wheels was completely reflected in his sight. Where the gaze went, the spirit followed; where the spirit arrived, the hands moved naturally. It was as smooth as water flowing into a channel, as natural as flowers blooming and falling, as effortless as grass growing and orioles flying—everything was utterly organic.

Gu Xiechen’s hands slowly swept through the void, faint, sharp bursts of saber-qi emanating from his body. This saber-qi gradually merged into his form, integrating into every single part of him. The Primordial Yellow Qi within him began to churn slowly, gradually dissolving the overly intense and tyrannical killing aura in the saber-qi, making it centered and peaceful, allowing it to integrate better with Gu Wuchen’s body. Suddenly, both sabre-wheels stopped moving simultaneously.

A year and eight months had passed. Neither the Great Revolving King nor Soul-Severing could gain the upper hand over the other. The Great Revolving King possessed deeper cultivation, but Soul-Severing had managed to land a sneak attack, wounding him significantly in his vital energy. Ordinary assassination sweeps were insufficient to inflict true damage on the opponent. The two vicious sabers ceased their movements simultaneously, separating by four hundred and ninety million li and facing each other across the expanse of Chaotic Space.

The sabre-wheels compressed further, shrinking down to a mere three zhang in diameter, just enough to envelop their forms within the wheel.

The maximally compressed sabre-wheels discarded their previous appearance of soaring saber-qi and dazzling light; instead, they became as clear and transparent as water, constantly trembling and emitting tiny ripples. The surface of the water showed no trace of sharp glint or rosy aura, truly resembling two pools of clear water encasing them.

Gu Xiechen’s expression turned profoundly serious. He straightened his body and sat cross-legged, focusing intently on every movement of the two figures.

Pangu True Blood continued to pour into Gu Wuchen’s eyes, causing them to gradually turn a golden-yellow, like pure gold. Golden pupils, golden irises—his eye sockets were a dazzling expanse of yellow, to the point where it was impossible to distinguish the eye from the iris. This intense golden light not only radiated from his eyes but also permeated his body, circulating everywhere within him with the vast essence of the Pangu True Blood.

Gu Wuchen, seated, had his muscles subtly swelling in patches, and even his fingers showed faint bulges and twitches. His hands trembled rapidly, his fingertips tracing short lines in the void.

The Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing gazed at each other from afar, their faces sunken and still as water. They continuously formed intricate hand seals before their chests.

The water-like sabre-wheels trembled lightly, and countless strange, primal talismans subtly flashed within the water. Each talisman seemed perfectly natural and formed a flawless whole with the others, yet upon closer inspection, they appeared completely independent, unrelated to one another.

After a moment, these talismans subtly morphed into long and short sabers, faintly emitting a sharp edge.

The Great Revolving King completed his preparations a fraction of a breath faster than Soul-Severing. With a light shout, his sabre-wheel instantly solidified, and his true form transformed into a beam of cold light, shooting rapidly toward Soul-Severing. The cold light moved straight ahead, but under the scrutiny of Gu Xiechen’s Divine Eyes, the trajectory of the light executed countless intricate and complex turns. In the span of a moment, the Great Revolving King’s form shifted at least tens of thousands of times. Such high-frequency transformations astonished Gu Xiechen, causing him to be deeply moved.

The Great Revolving King’s form streaked forward through the void. Every time his shape shifted, it drew in a wisp of Chaotic Spirit Qi from the void, which transformed into a brand-new talisman imprinted onto the sabre-wheel. The wheel spun rapidly, countless talismans floating and changing within it, stirring up a terrifying killing intent that coalesced into an invisible surge of energy, ten thousand li long, aimed directly at Soul-Severing’s heart.

The cold light formed by the Great Revolving King shot out three hundred and seventy million li before Soul-Severing also finished his preparations. He too transformed into a cold light showering forward, his form also rapidly shifting position in the void, drawing in vast amounts of Chaotic Spirit Qi to constantly replenish his sabre-wheel.

However, Soul-Severing was a fraction of a breath too slow compared to the Great Revolving King—that tiny sliver of time allowed the Great Revolving King to seize the initiative completely. The Great Revolving King’s intent and force were already pushed to their limit, while Soul-Severing’s intent was still rapidly climbing.

When the two cold lights collided, the sabre-wheel around the Great Revolving King transformed into forty-nine cold, shining long sabers of various shapes that shot out. The sabre-wheel around Soul-Severing only manifested twenty-seven long sabers before releasing them. The fifty-four long sabers in the void shattered instantly. The remaining twenty-two sabers shot out by the Great Revolving King pierced through Soul-Severing’s body, spraying thick, viscous, blood-like saber-force, white and purple in color, everywhere across the sky.

Soul-Severing screamed out in agony. His eyes suddenly widened, and two beams of sharp light shot out from his pupils—two strange, sharp blades several zhang long and as wide as leek leaves. They struck the Great Revolving King by surprise; one blade pierced directly through the Great Revolving King’s brow, and the other bored straight through his lower abdomen. Soul-Severing staggered backward rapidly, while the Great Revolving King also roared and retreated repeatedly.

But living up to their nature as embodiments of the Great Evolution Vicious Sabers, as they retreated, both of their right hands utilized divine abilities to transform into appendages thousands or tens of thousands of li long. Wielding their original long sabers, they wildly hacked and slashed at each other. This flurry of chopping lacked any pattern; it was purely two vicious sabers relying on the fierce, savage aura in their chests, like street hooligans hacking wildly at one another.

Immeasurable strength was injected into the long sabers. Under the control of the two elongated arms, the sabers brought forth long streaks of cold light, slashing everywhere. The Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing constantly erupted with spurts of firelight as the saber-gleams sliced across their bodies, emitting harsh sounds of metal colliding and grinding. Cracks appeared all over their forms, and large amounts of viscous, blood-like saber-qi surged out of their bodies, splashing across the expanse.

As incarnations of the Great Evolution Vicious Sabers, their physical bodies were naturally incomparably sturdy, but once damaged, recovery was exceedingly difficult. New wounds constantly appeared on their bodies. No matter how much external Chaotic Spirit Qi they absorbed, it could only prevent the existing wounds from widening, not allow them to heal. Both the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing were now disheveled, their savage appearances making them resemble two mad dogs tearing at each other. Retreating, retreating rapidly—in the blink of an eye, they were tens of thousands of li away.

Soul-Severing shrieked fiercely, “Revolving, you old immortal! You’ve finally taken a loss at my hands today!”

The Great Revolving King cursed back fiercely, “Nonsense! You are clearly more injured! I took lighter damage! Heh heh, just wait until I recover some vital energy, and I’ll make you pay! I’ll tear every piece of you apart and swallow your Origin Saber Intent! Heh heh, I’ll…”

Before the words were finished, a murky green saber-qi flashed through the void. The Great Revolving King was struck hard from his left rib to his right arm—a single strike that nearly severed his spine. The pain caused the Great Revolving King to roar in fury, losing the inclination to bicker with Soul-Severing. Soul-Severing, on the other hand, wore an expression of wild ecstasy and laughed uproariously toward the sky, “Soul-Severing, you arrived just in time!”

Before his words faded, the green saber-light suddenly materialized behind Soul-Severing, delivering a brutally savage strike from the back of his skull down to his tailbone that almost split his body in two. Soul-Severing also roared in agony. He abruptly stopped retreating, exerted all his strength, and lunged forward violently, transforming into an absolute beam of saber-light rushing toward the Great Revolving King.

The Great Revolving King transformed into a beam of saber-light towards Soul-Severing almost simultaneously. Just as they were about to collide, they touched their left palms lightly with perfect synchronicity, subtly neutralizing their forward momentum. Then, they stood back-to-back, cautiously surveying all directions.

A ghastly green saber-qi shot up into the Chaotic Space. A youth with a gaunt, almost skin-and-bone face, holding a strange long saber resembling a butcher’s cleaver magnified a hundred times, slowly walked out of the saber-qi. This youth, with green light flickering in his eyes, stared expressionlessly at the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing, then suddenly split his thin lips into a cold smile.

“Revolving, it really is you old immortal? When I struck you just now, I was actually afraid I’d hit the wrong person. But, we Great Evolution Vicious Sabers don't mind killing a few people by mistake, so I still delivered that strike. How was the taste?”

The Great Revolving King took deep breaths, allowing Chaotic Spirit Qi to flow into his body. Over a hundred bone-deep wounds covered him, faintly shimmering with the unique light of Chaotic Spirit Qi. He glanced dismissively at the youth, utterly unwilling to answer his question.

Soul-Severing stared at the youth in enraged disbelief, roaring fiercely, “Soul-Severing, are you insane? Hitting that old immortal is one thing, but why did you strike me too?”

A fierce light flashed in Soul-Severing’s eyes as he stared intensely at Soul-Severing, saying coldly, “Origin Saber Intent. Revolving’s Origin Saber Intent, I want it. Your Origin Saber Intent, I want that too. With your Origin Saber Intents, I could become at least a hundred times stronger than I am now.”

After laughing strangely a few times, Soul-Severing sneered sinisterly, “Soul-Severing, we all know where the other forty-six brothers are hidden. Over the years, none of us could overcome the others. But if I seize your Origin Saber Intents, I can easily crush them!” The Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing exchanged a look and both sneered coldly.

The Great Revolving King mocked, “Soul-Severing, are you perhaps still aiming to become the ultimate Great Evolution Vicious Saber? Just with you?”

Soul-Severing gave a slight smile and suddenly transformed into a gruesome green saber-light, sweeping toward the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing. Amidst the green saber-light, his fierce voice shouted, “Do you really think you have any chance of escape today? Twelve Stellar Fiends, appear!”

From the sickly green saber-light, an infinite amount of bloody mist erupted, within which countless mutilated vengeful spirits flickered in and out of view. As Soul-Severing commanded, these spirits suddenly merged in the center, and twelve streams of saber-qi divided from the green saber-light and plunged into them. In the blink of an eye, twelve ferocious fiends, entirely dark green, with ferocious faces and covered in sharp bone spurs a hundred zhang high, rushed out of the blood mist.

Saber-qi crisscrossed these fiends’ bodies, and viscous blood mist rolled and churned with the saber-qi. Upon their appearance, the Chaotic Space faintly echoed with sharp ghostly wails. The wails were like long sabers stabbing directly into one’s Sea of Consciousness and Purple Mansion, wrenching the primordial spirit with excruciating pain.

Even though Gu Wuchen had already severed Three Corpses of his primordial spirit, making his spirit stable as if he were alive, the sudden onslaught of these ghostly wails caused his vision to blacken, and he nearly had his primordial spirit shattered. Startled, Gu Wuchen hurriedly released his divine sense in all directions. Only when he saw that the Yin Immortals and Grand Yin Immortals were collecting primordial materials far away, unaffected by the sound, did he finally relax.

Ninety-nine percent of the power of Soul-Severing’s Twelve Stellar Fiends was directed at the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing. The shrill cries made their bodies sway precariously, nearly causing them to collapse. Especially since they had just endured over a year of brutal fighting, their power was nearly depleted, and their bodies were in their most wretched state. Even their spirits were overly exhausted, leaving them with very little combat strength remaining.

Moreover, the surprise attack from behind had severely damaged their bodies. If not for the inherent toughness of the Great Evolution Vicious Sabers’ physical forms, those two strikes from Soul-Severing would have rendered them completely immobile. Even though the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing could still move with great effort, they were at the end of their tether.

Soul-Severing, whose wounds were continuously spewing viscous saber-qi due to the Twelve Stellar Fiends’ ghostly wails, roared hoarsely, “Soul-Severing, do you truly disregard the brotherhood we shared across so many epochs?”

Soul-Severing laughed coldly, “Brotherhood? Nonsense! If we weren't the two weakest Great Evolution Vicious Sabers, would I have partnered with you for so long? Heh heh, a monumental opportunity is before us. If it were you, would you let it pass?”

Saber-light flashed, and the sickly green light pierced through the protective saber-qi of the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing, carving terrible gashes across their bodies that nearly split them apart. The twelve saber fiends howled and swarmed in, following the gaps Soul-Severing created in their protective saber-qi. The fiends, having shrunk to only a foot high, attached themselves to the two figures and began ferociously extracting the vital energy within them.

The complexions of the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing turned a faint green. They cried out in unison, “Soul-Severing, what heretical cultivation method are you practicing?”

Soul-Severing coldly swung his saber again, creating a deep gash on the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing. He said coolly, “Cultivation methods are only distinguished by strength or weakness, not by orthodoxy! Anything that can kill is a good method.”

He looked mockingly at the struggling Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing and scoffed, “We are the Great Evolution Vicious Sabers, the most vicious objects in heaven and earth, incarnations of the rule of destruction destined to annihilate all living beings! What do you think you are? Philanthropists? Our cultivation methods only seek to kill; who cares if they are heretical or not?” The Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing exchanged bitter smiles. These Twelve Stellar Fiends corresponded to the appearances of the Twelve Stellar Lords, capturing the inherent aura of innate slaughter and war from all their stellar power. They were fused with the flesh and souls of trillions of living beings, combined with a thread of innate killing intent comprehended by Soul-Severing himself, and refined over countless ages using unknown heretical techniques to create these twelve vicious fiends.

Once these fiends latched on, it felt as if countless tiny sabers were constantly darting and stabbing inside their bodies. While the physical pain was unbearable, the vital essence of the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing was continuously drained by these fiends. They had already expended too much vital energy, and now with these Twelve Stellar Fiends fused to them, they lacked the strength even to lift their sabers.

With a bitter smile, the Great Revolving King coldly looked at Soul-Severing and commanded, “I never thought there would be a day I’d have to join forces with you!”

Soul-Severing replied coldly, “Join forces to slay Soul-Severing and divide his Origin Saber Intent. After we heal our wounds, we can have a life-or-death duel.” Hearing this, Soul-Severing was greatly alarmed and immediately transformed into a green saber-light, retreating rapidly.

But the Great Revolving King let out a hysterical roar. He slammed both hands onto the back of Soul-Severing’s heart and laughed fiercely at Soul-Severing, “Trying to escape? Too late! Hahahaha, my Origin Saber Intent is here! Come and take it, damn you!”

A hazy saber-shadow rushed out from above the Great Revolving King’s head. As soon as this shadowy blade—which possessed form but no discernible true shape—appeared, forty-nine thunderclaps spontaneously sounded in the Chaotic Space. Six hazy gates faintly flickered within the saber-shadow, and terrifying power of devouring and destruction continuously surged out from those six gates.

Soul-Severing also let out a strange laugh, and a hazy saber-shadow rushed out from above his head as well. Within this shadowy blade, countless souls faintly writhed. Streaks of saber-light continuously swept across these souls, cutting them into pieces. Every time a soul was shattered, the blade-shadow became clearer, and the soul-shaking aura it released grew stronger. The green light representing Soul-Severing retreated faster and faster, but the speed of the two saber-shadows was even greater.

The saber-shadow above the Great Revolving King suddenly spread out, manifesting an illusory image of a Sabre Wheel Hell spanning countless trillions of li in the void. Within that hell were mountains of blades and forests of swords. Countless living beings struggled and shrieked, twisting and fighting amidst the blades and swords; a ferocious Geng Metal storm swept over, reducing those beings to ash that scattered everywhere. For a time, the Sabre Wheel Hell was filled with the roars of countless vengeful spirits.

Similarly, the saber-shadow emanating from above Soul-Severing rapidly expanded outward, eventually manifesting as a vast, empty domain slightly smaller than the Great Revolving King’s Sabre Wheel Hell by one one-thousandth of its area. This domain was illuminated by strange light in all directions, and countless writhing black shadows constantly emerged in the void, only to be instantly sliced into fragments by a saber-light flashing overhead.

Only the eyes of the writhing black shadows faintly emitted a glimmer of light, a light filled with ferocity, brutality, greed, lust, and all other dark desires. Every time a streak of saber-light shattered a black shadow, the negative desires within that light transformed into specks of light rain merging into the void. This void seemed to expand by that minuscule amount, and Soul-Severing’s aura became increasingly unsettling and heart-stopping.

As soon as the two domains appeared, they rapidly merged into one entity under the control of the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing. Countless black shadows replaced the living beings in the mountains of blades and forests of swords. The Geng Metal storm swept over these shadows, causing them to emit piercing screams that nearly forced the souls of the viewers out of their bodies. Soul-Severing’s transformed green saber-light abruptly halted in the void upon hearing those piercing cries. In that instant of pause, the merged marvelous space of the two great domains suddenly enveloped downwards, sucking the twelve monstrously fierce saber fiends into this newborn spatial region. The dark green saber fiends darted and struggled everywhere within the mountains of blades and forests of swords. The milky-white Geng Metal storm continuously churned around them, peeling away layers of their dark green demonic energy, causing their forms to rapidly shrink.

However, it was evident that as the saber fiends fled and struggled within the domain, they were also exerting immense pressure on the spatial region.

The void trembled; mountains of blades and forests of swords collapsed continuously. Wherever the saber fiends passed, the Geng Metal storm was dyed a dark green. This dark green Geng Metal aura was clearly beyond the control of the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing; like ink dripping into clear water, this dark green energy continuously contaminated the spatial region, making its structure increasingly unstable.

The faces of the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing turned grim. Although they were incarnations of vicious sabers, beads of sweat actually dotted their foreheads.

Milky-white sweat, like melted silver juice, continuously emerged from their bodies. Every drop of sweat was the vital essence of the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing; with every drop that fell, their strength diminished by a fraction.

Finally, unable to withstand this draining, they ceased allowing their Origin Saber Intent to exert its maximum power. They quickly formed a hand seal and pointed toward the rapidly fleeing Soul-Severing.

The spatial region spanning countless trillions of li suddenly contracted inward, sucking in every speck of Chaotic Spirit Qi within its boundaries.

The immense spatial region compressed rapidly. In less than a hundred-millionth of a second, it shrank into a strange long saber, only three chi long and as wide as a finger. The saber was faintly milky-white and purplish-white, completely devoid of luster, with only an almost imperceptible sliver of saber-light, as thin as a hair, flickering just ahead of the tip. At the points where the Great Revolving King and Soul-Severing pointed, the long saber flashed and instantly appeared behind the rapidly escaping Soul-Severing.

Soul-Severing let out a piercing shriek. The sickly green saber-light was instantly severed into two pieces by the long saber, spraying green saber-qi everywhere, resembling a decapitated person flailing its limbs in the void.

As the blade light formed by Duan Po shattered, Great Reincarnation King and Soul Sever jointly roared with laughter. The Great Reincarnation King’s palms pressed against Soul Sever’s back expelled two torrents of ferocious blade energy that howled into Soul Sever's body, churning and utterly wrecking it with crackling force.

Yet, Soul Sever leaned heavily backward, unleashing countless motes of fine, hair-thin blade radiance that silently pierced into the Great Reincarnation King’s form, tearing through his eyes, face, and torso, causing streaks of milky-white blade aura to spray continuously from the King’s body.

Both cried out in agony simultaneously. The Great Reincarnation King stumbled backward frantically, while Soul Sever aggressively lunged forward, trembling.

They cursed each other almost in the same breath, each accusing the other of perfidy. The Great Reincarnation King furiously denounced Soul Sever for his despicable character, claiming he deserved to be betrayed by the countless Duan Pos he had partnered with; Soul Sever, in turn, roared that the Great Reincarnation King was utterly worthless, deserving of being sealed by Hongjun’s full effort for countless years.

Seated cross-legged on the sofa, Gu Xiechen applauded loudly, laughing until his eyes narrowed to mere slits. Brilliant, truly brilliant, an absolute masterpiece of spectacle. None of these three malevolent blades were genuinely good; each was thoroughly selfish and rapacious, focused only on scheming against others, never realizing others were scheming against them too. Gu Xiechen was overjoyed, wishing fervently that the three would pummel each other until only a breath remained.

As if Heaven willed it, after exchanging only a few angry words, a ghastly, pallid green blade light flared up again, slicing savagely across both their bodies.

A piercing shriek echoed. The Great Reincarnation King flinched back halfway, and Soul Sever recoiled rapidly. They quickly settled back-to-back, standing fixed; judging by their posture, they looked like a pair of deeply tested, devoted lovers, closer and more intimate than any ordinary sworn brothers.

The Great Reincarnation King, whose neck had nearly been severed by that green light, roared furiously, "Duan Po, you're still alive? Stop lurking in the shadows and show yourself!"

Soul Sever also bellowed, "Duan Po, you heartless dog! Show yourself! Hmph, hmph, scheming against me might be one thing, but trying to scheme against Reincarnation? Don't you know Reincarnation is the eldest brother among our Great Forty-Nine Malevolent Blades? His Origin Blade Intent is the strongest! His single Origin Blade Intent alone is nearly equal to both of ours!"

With a gash across his forehead that left his head swinging precariously on his neck, Soul Sever furtively glanced around while cautiously stealing glances at the Great Reincarnation King’s reaction—his wretched and comical appearance was both repulsive and amusing.

The Great Reincarnation King was so enraged his orifices smoked. Soul Sever bringing up the strength of his Origin Blade Intent was merely a ploy to steer Duan Po’s attention toward him first.

With a cold sneer, the Great Reincarnation King stated coldly, "My Origin Blade Intent is indeed powerful, but absorbing it is not so easy! Heh, hehe, this sort of Origin Blade Intent works best against those of similar cultivation!"

A faint green light flickered. Duan Po, haggard, his once taut skin now dangling loose from his muscles like that of a ninety-year-old man, slowly walked out of the green glow, weak and exhausted. He looked at the tense and wary Great Reincarnation King and Soul Sever, and then suddenly chuckled, "Heh heh, wonderful—truly wonderful. Did you two not look like a pair of rabid dogs just now?"

After a strange series of laughs, Duan Po stared at the extremely nervous Great Reincarnation King and Soul Sever and laughed oddly, "Strange, isn't it? Why didn't I die from your combined attack using Origin Blade Intent? Strange? Heh heh, it seems I only lost three-fifths or so of my vitality. Aren't you surprised?" The Great Reincarnation King and Soul Sever exchanged a look and simultaneously shook their heads. Appearing utterly triumphant, Duan Po slowly slapped the back of his head and threw his head back in a great, unrestrained laugh.

A mass of sickly green blade light and a blade light the color of foul blood slowly rose from above his head. The green blade light, like Soul Sever's intent, depicted countless phantom souls being cut down by the light. The foul-blood-colored light showed an endless ocean of blood where countless skeletons floated. Faintly visible within the bloody sea were monstrous, hideous beasts stirring amidst the bones, constantly devouring the remains.

Terrified screams erupted from the Great Reincarnation King and Soul Sever. The Great Reincarnation King roared, "You killed Blood Sea? You stole Blood Sea's Origin Blade Intent? How is this possible? How could you possibly kill him? Blood Sea was only slightly weaker than me and at least two tiers stronger than you!"

Duan Po, who kept letting out eerie cackles, puffed out his chest proudly. He laughed loudly, "What's so strange about that? Even when drinking cold water, a person can choke on it sometimes!" He chuckled strangely, displaying a bizarre smile that was both supremely proud and deeply regretful.

He seemed to be speaking to himself while addressing the Great Reincarnation King and Soul Sever, explaining how Blood Sea, one of the Great Forty-Nine Malevolent Blades, had died by his hand. This was, in fact, Duan Po's destiny, though it was originally Blood Sea's grand opportunity.

Just as Soul Sever had told the Great Reincarnation King, Duan Po discovered a newly formed universe. He broke through that universe's spatial barrier and entered it to slaughter its beings, refining the Twelve Yuan Chen Blade Demons and cultivating the demonic arts and evil practices he had comprehended.

While Duan Po was vigorously slaughtering, nearly wiping out all the innate Great Sages nurtured by the newly formed cosmos, he was stunned to find Blood Sea had entered that universe even earlier and was coveting something. Only later did Duan Po realize that what Blood Sea coveted was the nascent spirit and true body of that universe’s creator—its 'Pangu.' This universe was trillions of times smaller than the Mortal Realm where Gu Xiechen resided. After opening the heavens, that universe's 'Pangu' had not exhausted all his power, thus he still survived, though his nascent spirit and physical body had been separated by the immense force of creation.

Somehow, Blood Sea located this Pangu and single-mindedly sought the Pangu's vast heavenly Dao principles knowledge within his nascent spirit and that outrageously powerful Pangu True Body. The turn of events ultimately benefited Duan Po.

Blood Sea had misjudged the power of the Pangu’s nascent spirit. Although he successfully ambushed the spirit, he was severely wounded by the spirit’s death-throes counterattack. Moreover, the Pangu’s nascent spirit and true body self-destructed into countless spiritual energies, which integrated into the newborn universe, fostering countless innate Great Sages, yet yielding no benefit to Blood Sea. The gravely wounded Blood Sea was naturally cleaved in two by Duan Po, who then consumed every last shred of him, soul included.

Blood Sea’s Origin Blade Intent fell to Duan Po, who had been absorbing it for the past few millennia. His cultivation was now significantly stronger than Soul Sever's, and although slightly inferior to the Great Reincarnation King's, the wounded King and Soul Sever would find it difficult to strike him down together.

Triumphantly relating his bizarre fortune to the Great Reincarnation King and Soul Sever, the pair were so enraged their eyes turned green. Why didn't such good fortune ever fall upon them?

With a cold sneer, the Great Reincarnation King regarded Duan Po coldly, "Duan Po, don't get cocky. Even having Blood Sea's Origin Blade Intent, it won't be easy to gain an advantage over me. After a moment of thought, the Great Reincarnation King said lightly, "How about this: let's join forces and kill Soul Sever?"

Soul Sever was horrified and immediately lunged forward. But the Great Reincarnation King was already airborne, delivering a heavy strike to his back that made Soul Sever's joints emit piercing groans.

Duan Po was ecstatic. Seeing the Great Reincarnation King ambush Soul Sever, he immediately poured all his strength into striking Soul Sever mercilessly.

A flash of sickly green blade light cut through the air. Soul Sever let out a piercing howl as his lower legs were severed by the blade light and sent flying. For the sturdy bodies of the Great Yan Malevolent Blades, injuries that resulted in severed limbs were devastating. Unlike immortals cultivated from birds and beasts, even when the Great Yan Malevolent Blades took human form and acquired a semblance of humanity, their physical essence remained that of a sharp blade—the sharpest blade in existence for killing. Therefore, any damage to their limbs meant damage to their core being.

Soul Sever felt as if a piece of his heart had been ripped out. The agonizing pain blinded him.

Duan Po sneered, delivering another clean blow to the brother he had partnered with for countless years, neatly severing both of Soul Sever's arms before nodding triumphantly to the Great Reincarnation King; "Now, it's your turn!"

The Great Reincarnation King faced Duan Po solemnly and said coldly, "I already said it: we eliminate Soul Sever together, and we split his Origin Blade Intent."

Duan Po stared at the Great Reincarnation King in surprise and laughed loudly, "Do you take me for a fool? If I can claim both your and Soul Sever's Origin Blade Intents at once, why would I stupidly share half of his with you?" The Great Reincarnation King narrowed his eyes and sneered coldly, "I have my reasons!"

Duan Po shook his head and resolutely commanded, "Whatever reasons you have, I won't listen. I have yearned for your Origin Blade Intent for countless eons. With such a perfect opportunity today, I will absolutely not let it pass. Reincarnation, just die obediently!" Raising his long blade, Duan Po struck out with all his might toward the Great Reincarnation King.

The Great Reincarnation King sighed deeply, a ferocious glint in his eyes. He roared fiercely, "This is what you forced me to do! Then, let us perish together!" His form flickered, and the shadow formed by his Origin Blade Intent suddenly surged above his head. The Great Reincarnation King unleashed his blade intent recklessly in all directions.

At the core of the Great Reincarnation King's blade intent, there was a thumb-sized, utterly shattered Taiji Diagram seal. The tiny diagram spun sluggishly, looking as if it could shatter at any moment.

The Great Reincarnation King sneered, his hand flashing down, sending a surge of blade energy directly into the Taiji Diagram seal, instantly blasting it apart. As the seal shattered, an intensely vicious killing intent suddenly radiated from within the Great Reincarnation King.

Duan Po, already closing in on the Great Reincarnation King, shrieked, "Stop your posturing, die! Die!"

In the void, a Taiji Diagram spanning billions of miles abruptly appeared. The flawless Yin and Yang fish slowly revolved, causing the surrounding chaotic spiritual energy for tens of billions of miles to surge rapidly.

Gu Xiechen's divine sense enveloped this massive Taiji Diagram seal. The slowly rotating diagram in his Sea of Consciousness resonated with the one in the sky, and a profound and subtle aura gradually integrated into his divine sense.

The Taiji Diagram in Gu Xiechen’s Sea of Consciousness represented the Dao laws of protection, propagation, and vibrant life force.

The Taiji Diagram seal in the void, however, was saturated with severe baleful energy, representing the Dao commandments of sealing, imprisonment, punishment, and erasure.

Duan Po, transformed into blade light, halted in bewildered confusion. He stared blankly at the colossal Taiji Diagram above him, a bitter smile twisting his face far uglier than any cry of anguish. "***Reincarnation, you’ve triggered that old bastard Hongjun’s sealing Heavenly Tribulation here! You—you actually intend to perish together!"

Before Duan Po could finish speaking, two beams of light, distinctly black and white, shot down from the Yin portion of the Taiji Diagram, gently enveloping the Great Reincarnation King and the other two. These black and white rays merged but remained clearly distinguishable, an utterly marvelous sight.

Three thin strands of lightning, entwined with black and white, slowly descended from the brilliance, lightly touching the tops of the three figures’ heads.

With just a soft sound, the Great Reincarnation King, Duan Po, and Soul Sever shrieked simultaneously. Piercing blade cries echoed through the void as boundless killing intent and murderous aura erupted in all directions. Their forms were blown to pieces by the lightning, losing all semblance of humanity. Three tattered long blades hovered alone in the void, devoid of any remaining vitality. Four spheres of Origin Blade Intent, each a different hue, floated listlessly within the black and white radiance, seemingly having lost their consciousness.

Another wave of black and white entwined lightning descended. The soul imprints on the three long blades were instantly shattered almost to dust. The three blades cried out mournfully; it seemed another wave of lightning would completely obliterate the trace of their souls, erasing the Great Reincarnation King, Soul Sever, and Duan Po from heaven and earth forever.

The four Origin Blade Intents were struck by the lightning and shrunk into four small, fist-sized orbs of light. Unbound blade intent struggled and roared within the spheres but could not escape the restraint of the external black and white radiance. The black and white light gently cleansed the four orbs, slowly dissolving the ferocious and cruel aura within them.

Gu Xiechen smiled contentedly. With his feet treading on cloud-water, hands clasped behind his back, he leisurely rode the mists through the chaotic spiritual energy toward the three long blades.

Keeping a respectful distance from the black and white radiance, Gu Xiechen laughed loudly, "Senior Great Reincarnation King, it has been over a year since we last met. This junior has missed you dearly!"

After three loud laughs, Gu Xiechen commanded sternly, "Your true forms and your Origin Blade Intents—this Sovereign shall not be polite!"

With a great sweep of his sleeve, a black and white stream of energy rushed toward the sky above Gu Xiechen’s head. He swept his sleeve across the three long blades and the four colored orbs.

The immense Taiji Diagram in the void flashed suddenly. The black and white radiance merged with the black and white current erupting from Gu Xiechen’s body, and the Taiji Diagram in the void vanished without a trace.

The three long blades were swept into Gu Xiechen's sleeve. The Great Reincarnation King and the others cursed him simultaneously in unison.

The Great Reincarnation King shouted aggrievedly, "You petty bastard, you get to benefit in the end! In the name of the Primeval Demon God, I curse you! I curse you, I curse you to have your soul scattered and never reincarnate for eternity!" Duan Po and Soul Sever also furiously swore curses, their maledictions so venomous that Gu Xiechen couldn't help but slightly furrow his brow.

With a cold laugh, Gu Xiechen shot out the Taiyin Candle Flame from his palm, wrapping around the three long blades, instantly silencing their torrent of abuse. However, three bloody demonic bricks materialized out of thin air and rapidly shot toward Gu Xiechen's brow.
