In the Chaos Space, a mountain peak resembling Taihu stone was riddled with holes and openings throughout its entire body, constructed from translucent purple jade. Wisps of rising purple mist and azure energy perpetually soared from these orifices, coalescing into a cloudy haze that enveloped the mountain, which towered several tens of thousands of li high.

This colossal peak, spanning nearly a million li across—significantly larger than many planets in the Mortal Realm—was once the lair of several Chaos Golden-Winged God-Devouring Vultures. Three months prior, these vultures, notorious for consuming primordial spirits and sucking marrow, were eliminated by the passing Gu Wuchen, and the mountain became Gu Wuchen’s secluded cultivation abode.

The translucent purple jade composing this mountain was known by a specific name: 'Spirit-Settling Jade.' This substance functioned much like a refrigerator preserving fruits and vegetables, capable of storing a cultivator’s primordial spirit and soul. Once housed within the Spirit-Settling Jade, the spirit and soul would immediately lose all activity and become motionless, yet they could remain intact, suffering no dissolution or loss across trillions of years. It served as the natural larder for those God-Devouring Vultures.

Furthermore, if a Dao cultivator meditated and circulated their energy upon the Spirit-Settling Jade, their primordial spirit would be nourished by the jade’s essence, naturally solidifying as if forged from jade itself. All manner of inner demons and heavenly fiends would find it exceptionally difficult to shake the cultivator's spirit. For ordinary cultivators, merely acquiring a pendant carved from Spirit-Settling Jade was an unachievable desire, yet here stood an entire mountain peak, tens of thousands of li tall and nearly a million li wide, entirely devoid of any impurity.

Gu Xiechen, seated cross-legged within a rudimentary cave dwelling at the mountain’s core, had made his decision: when he eventually departed the Chaos Space, he was determined to transport this entire mountain of Spirit-Settling Jade back to the Mortal Realm. Imagine how many cultivation aids—such as prayer cushions or jade pendants—could be crafted from this mountain! The disciples of the Nine Nether Dao would never again be troubled by the afflictions of inner demons and heavenly fiends.

The Yin Shadow Candle Flames and the Solar Blazing Flames, black and white in color, formed a Taiji symbol several li in diameter directly above his head, spinning rapidly. The essences of the four fierce blades, along with their four corresponding Origin Blade Intents, whirled within this Taiji diagram. Three of the fierce blades emitted sharp, piercing howls, while the four rings of Origin Blade Intent were refined by the flames’ interwoven patterns, constantly releasing billowing mist that merged into Gu Xiechen’s brow.

Originally, there were only three fierce blades, but Gu Wuchen discovered the spiritless blade body of the Blood Sea Fierce Blade within the dimensional pouch carried by Duan Po, and thus took it out to temper it using the Yin Shadow and Solar Flames.

Countless trajectories of blade light flashed rapidly before his eyes. Gu Xiechen moved his hands slowly, weaving through the paths with effortless grace. Strands of keen energy continuously emanated from his body; occasionally, a blade light would flash, and a fine knife mark would suddenly appear on the four walls of the cave.

The Origin Blade Intents of Reincarnation, Soul Severing, Spirit Breaking, and Blood Sea were ceaselessly absorbed by Gu Xiechen. He discarded the ferocious, destructive will inherent in the blade intents, retaining only the almost miraculous art of blade manipulation contained within, preserving that unparalleled sharpness capable of cleaving all existence—including time and space itself.

Days turned into time. When Mao E, who had been wandering outside, entered the cave for the ninth time, placing dozens of storage rings filled with treasured-grade innate materials before Gu Xiechen, Gu Xiechen finally finished absorbing and refining all four Origin Blade Intents.

Filaments of blade force sprayed out from Gu Xiechen’s body. He resembled a peerless divine weapon freshly forged, one that had not yet learned to restrain its edge, but was wantonly unleashing the terrifying, indestructible sharpness within.

The physical bodies of the four fierce blades had been jointly refined by the Yin Shadow and Solar Flames into a single mass of four-colored liquid. Like their intents, this liquid was saturated with terrifying, sharp blade qi. Gu Xiechen weighed the liquid mass, casually retrieved the Samsara Seal, which was forged from the original body of the Iron Stone Ancestor, and then integrated this liquid into the Samsara Seal.

After consuming a substantial period reforging the Samsara Seal, it now combined the immense weight of the Iron Stone Ancestor’s true form, the miraculous power to annihilate spirits, and incorporated the indestructible sharpness of the four fierce blades. The newly born Samsara Seal radiated a mighty, sharp radiance in the void, its power far surpassing that of its initial forging.

Gently stroking the Samsara Seal, the heavy, ancient artifact unceremoniously sliced a sharp cut into Gu Wuchen's finger. Looking at the drop of blood welling up from the cut, Gu Xiechen smiled with satisfaction.

Anyone who saw the Samsara Seal would instinctively perceive it as a wondrous treasure that harms opponents using immense weight, much like the Heaven-Overturning Seal. Yet, it contained a secret technique specifically designed to assault the primordial spirit, and now it possessed this additional sharp blade force. If someone truly relied on defending against it as they would a Heaven-Overturning Seal, the Samsara Seal would certainly give them a tremendous shock. “Of course, the price for such a shock is their very lives!” Squinting his eyes, Gu Xiechen chuckled softly.

Taking a deep breath, the black and white flames rose from Gu Xiechen’s body, slowly burning around him.

Within his Sea of Consciousness, in the Purple Palace, three viscous masses of blood mist were violently colliding and roaring, striving to merge with Gu Xiechen’s body. These were the Primordial Divine Demon Life Curses unleashed by the Great Wheel King and his two companions as they perished. Yet, what surprised even Gu Wuchen was that these three masses, savage and ruthless—far more venomous than the Shamanic Curses recorded in the Great Desolate Scripture—were completely harmless to him.

Aside from the initial moment they entered his body, which caused fleeting, incomplete illusions to flash before Gu Wuchen’s eyes—as if witnessing untold myriads of divine demons fiercely battling around a jade tablet radiating immense, thousand-zhang light in the void—the three blood mists caused no other disruption to Gu Wuchen.

On the contrary, Gu Wuchen’s body began to absorb the curses, which contained the complete essence, spirit, and vigor of the Great Wheel King and the three fierce blades, along with all their accumulated cultivation. During the time Gu Wuchen spent absorbing the four sets of Origin Blade Intents and reforging the Samsara Seal, the vast majority of the energy within the three blood curses had been absorbed by him. Only the soul imprints, containing the three Great Wheel King figures’ complete comprehension of the Heavenly Dao, lingered stubbornly, vainly attempting to continue harming Gu Wuchen.

With a cold chuckle, feeling the surging, ocean-like fluctuation of magic power within him, now nearly a hundred times stronger than before, Gu Wuchen narrowed his eyes and focused all his energy on dealing with the soul imprints left by the Great Wheel King and the other two fierce blades.

Boundless wonders suddenly manifested in his Sea of Consciousness. Within the magnificent, radiant Thirty-Three Heavens Palace, shining with ten thousand zhang of splendid light, a colossal bell, towering between heaven and earth, materialized out of thin air. The Great Wheel King’s soul imprint was forcibly drawn into the great bell, and countless strands of Chaos Thunderbolts spewed forth, relentlessly pounding upon the small cluster of blood-red light like a torrential storm.

The immense ringing of the bell caused the Thirty-Three Heavens Palace to tremble violently. The Great Wheel King’s soul imprint, already at its last gasp, was easily shattered by the Chaos Thunderbolts. All of his comprehension of the Great Dao and life experiences were instantaneously absorbed and plundered by Gu Wuchen’s surrounding divine sense.

Gu Wuchen’s fundamental primordial spirit surged forward as if propelled by a rocket, and the intensity of his divine sense instantly multiplied nearly a thousandfold. The vast soul power painstakingly honed by the Great Wheel King over innumerable kalpas was smashed into dust by the Chaos Bell, transforming into pure soul origin power that Gu Wuchen completely devoured. His countless kalpas of arduous cultivation were entirely fulfilled by Gu Wuchen today.

A terrifying blade light suddenly flashed across the Chaos Space. Gu Wuchen’s divine sense instantly extended to an extreme distance, momentarily enveloping a region of the Chaos Space equivalent in size to an entire star cluster in the Mortal Realm. Countless minute blade glows shimmered throughout this void; these glows were the materialized projections of Gu Wuchen’s divine sense.

In this immensely vast space, all Chaos Creatures instinctively recoiled, hiding fearfully in their burrows.

They sensed a terrifying existence wantonly releasing its aura. These Chaos Creatures instinctively realized that this monstrous ‘Exotic Beast’ could effortlessly seize everything from them—from their physical bodies to their souls, down to the very imprint of their primordial spirit’s existence. Everything could be terminated by a mere flicker of this creature’s thought.

Gu Xiechen happily savored the exhilaration of instantly commanding such a vast expanse of heaven and earth. His divine sense soared freely through the void, and suddenly, his focus zeroed in on a Chaos Creature shaped like a marine ray on Earth, stretching over one hundred thousand li from head to tail.

This marine ray possessed sleek, beautiful skin that, without any processing, shone with the magnificent luster of a sapphire. Gu Xiechen mused that if this ray’s skin were made into leather for clothing, it would surely be adored by Fu Ya Ming.

Moreover, Gu Xiechen was astonished to discover that this ray's hide possessed inherent resistance to poison, fire, water, and dust. Subtle Chaos Storms perpetually encircled its body, and the hide seemed naturally capable of attracting and generating these storms, providing tremendous acceleration during flight. Truly, this was an exceedingly rare Exotic Beast!

And this beast’s cultivation was not insignificant; it possessed magic power equivalent to the peak of the Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm. Its physical resilience even surpassed that of Monkey and Yang Zai in their current forms. It was a pity that Chaos Creatures found it exceedingly difficult to attain true sentience; this beast’s intelligence was likely comparable to that of common blue-green algae—a complete waste of such a powerful physique and formidable magic power. “Slay it, and take its hide!” Gu Xiechen’s divine sense converged upon the beast, and he suddenly formed the thought.

A strangely shaped long blade flashed and vanished in the void, piercing the marine ray-shaped beast’s anus and exiting through its mouth. Wherever the blade light passed, the beast’s internal organs, muscles, and bones were pulverized into dust. The blade qi dispersed the resulting pulverized flesh and blood plasma into a floating mist of blood.

A complete piece of the beast’s hide silently suspended in the void. Then, a mass of white Yin Shadow Candle Flames spontaneously arose and rapidly circled the massive hide left behind. A large amount of impurities was tempered out of the hide, causing the beast skin to shrink rapidly.

In less than an instant, only a piece of exotic beast leather remained, a hundred times thinner than the finest silk. The hide, stretching a hundred li from head to tail, was nearly translucent, shimmering with a magnificent purplish-blue light, truly like a sapphire suspended in the air.

Then, the hide instantly flashed, teleporting a distance equivalent to tens of thousands of star systems in the Mortal Realm, shrinking to the size of a fist as it reappeared before Gu Wuchen. Staring blankly at the leather mass that materialized from nowhere, Gu Xiechen was so astonished that he remained speechless for a long moment.

What level of power was this? To accomplish so much across such a vast distance with merely a slight movement of his mind—it was too effortless! Furthermore, this Exotic Beast was at the very least a peak Grand Unity Golden Immortal level Chaos Creature, yet it was slain so easily?

Legends claimed that a Saint’s clairvoyant eye could peruse the Three Realms in an instant, discerning the myriad phenomena of the world, with every ripple in the Three Realms held within the Saint’s grasp. Judging by Gu Xiechen’s current display, his actions already hinted at the aura of a Saint. Although the range controlled by his divine sense was not yet so boundless, his divine abilities were approaching those of the legendary Saints.

Feeling thoroughly elated, Gu Xiechen swiftly tucked the piece of hide into his sleeve. His divine sense abruptly probed the farthest reaches of space reachable by his awareness.

There, two Chaos Creatures, each about a million li long, were ferociously locked in combat, fighting over a Chaos Spiritual Root growing on a small planet spanning ten thousand li in diameter—it was a root that looked remarkably similar to the common plum trees found on Earth, with several fist-sized spiritual fruits hanging from its branches.

However, this plum tree growing in the Chaos was terrifyingly large; it was rooted in a planet ten thousand li wide, and its branches, when extended, easily enveloped the entire planet.

The two colossal beasts collided violently. One spewed fire, the other water: the fire was the Azure Nether Purple Flame Heavenly Fire, and the water was the Essence of the Stygian Abyss Black Water. Both were innate substances; when they impacted, innumerable lightning bolts erupted, shaking the void across hundreds of millions of li into chaos.

Gu Xiechen’s immense divine consciousness suddenly descended, and an undeniable pressure materialized out of thin air. The two beasts, previously engaged in heated battle, instantly curled into tight balls, trembling in absolute terror and floating motionlessly in the void.

A clear, resonant voice slowly sounded. Gu Xiechen spoke with affected casualness, “This Saint is the Sage Monarch Wu Long. This Spiritual Root is predestined to have affinity with this Saint Monarch and shall belong to this Saint Monarch’s lineage. You creatures of the egg and slime, ignorant of the seasons and geography, presumptuously coveting the Spiritual Root is inviting the source of your own destruction. With your foundation, your aptitude, and your intelligence, this Spiritual Root has no fate with you!”

With a slight shift of thought, the strange Chaos Spiritual Root gently appeared before Gu Xiechen, its size shrinking to about ten zhang tall. The root was enveloped in yellow light, and the spiritual fruits on its branches emitted a rich, profound fragrance. The scent was intoxicating; merely inhaling a few breaths brought a wonderful feeling of the entire body being cleansed.

Sighing deeply, Gu Xiechen shook his head and murmured, “It’s difficult, back then watching the Investiture of the Gods, those Saints always loved to say, ‘This object has affinity with me!’”

Glancing mockingly at his own palm, Gu Wuchen coldly sneered, “Nonsense. My fist is big; whatever I desire naturally has affinity with me! Alas, what they call a Saint is merely this, merely this!”

Having realized this crucial point, Gu Wuchen suddenly felt that the status of Saint, which he had previously worried about so deeply, was nothing more than this. A sudden, unbidden joy erupted within him. He burst into loud, unrestrained laughter, his mirth filled with boundless delight.

While he was laughing and gesturing wildly, his divine sense suddenly noticed that the two beasts capable of spewing innate water and fire were repeatedly kowtowing in that region of the void. Though their bodies were brutish, their movements were quite agile. They lightly bowed on the spot, shouting repeatedly, “Mercy, Saint Lord, mercy!”

Gu Xiechen was slightly taken aback; he had not expected these two Chaos Creatures to have cultivated intelligence—that was no small feat. Given their intellect, the Spiritual Root they were fighting over must also be extraordinary.

His divine sense enveloped the Spiritual Root, causing the yellow light upon it to flicker. A clear thought slowly flowed into Gu Wuchen’s Sea of Consciousness. Upon reading this thought, his heart instantly soared with ecstatic joy. This innate Spiritual Root was named ‘Form Transformation,’ and the fruits it bore could help Chaos Spirit Beasts shed their brutish bodies and transform into human form, while also enhancing their intelligence to match that of human beings.

The original bodies of Chaos Spirit Beasts were incredibly robust, yet the easiest body to cultivate in the world was the human form. Therefore, the ultimate goal for Chaos Spirit Beasts in cultivation was shedding their beast forms to attain human shape, thus opening the path to ultimately comprehending the Heavenly Dao. However, their original bodies were too immensely powerful and durable; using their own strength to shed their beast forms was almost impossible.

But ‘Form Transformation’ could allow a Chaos Spirit Beast, even a newly hatched cub, regardless of its cultivation level, to effortlessly cast off its original beast form. These two beasts were fighting over the fruit formed by this root precisely because of these fruits.

It must be said that these two beasts were a bit too dim-witted. There were clearly five or six fruits on the tree; they could have each taken one, but they acted purely on bestial instinct, attempting to monopolize all the fruits, which consequently drew Gu Xiechen’s attention, leading them to end up with nothing. After a moment of contemplation, Gu Wuchen swept his divine sense over the two creatures bowing deeply.

In truth, while these two beasts were somewhat dull, their natures were honest and simple. When kowtowing, as if fearing their actions wouldn't move Gu Xiechen, they even utilized their magic power to condense vast amounts of Chaos Spiritual Qi into two massive continents, which they placed before their foreheads. The impact of their heads striking these continents of condensed Qi resonated thunderously. Both beasts’ foreheads were already bleeding from the repeated impacts.

Furthermore, although these two beasts also possessed peak Grand Unity Golden Immortal cultivation, their physical essence was ten thousand times tougher than the marine ray Gu Wuchen had just slain. Their sheer divine strength was indescribable. Even the Monkey, born of Heaven and Earth, whose true form was far less robust than that of these two beasts, whose bodies were nourished day and night by the Chaos Spiritual Qi, far surpassed the Monkey whose body was nourished by the acquired Five Elements Spiritual Qi. “Very well, since we met, it is fate. My lineage is short of a few mountain-guarding spirit beasts. If you…”

Gu Xiechen spoke with affected hesitation, but before he could finish, the two beasts erupted in joyous shouts. They reared back, roared toward the heavens, and cried out happily, “Willing, willing, we are willing to join Master’s lineage! We implore the Saint Lord’s mercy!” Tsk, they said Chaos Beasts lacked intelligence, but their knack for seizing an opportunity was certainly not lacking!

Gu Wuchen shook his head. He casually plucked two Form Transformation Fruits and tossed them into the air. A fruit instantly appeared in the mouth of one beast.

The fire-spitting beast shaped like a black leopard and the water-spraying beast shaped like a white tiger both cried out joyfully toward the heavens. They simultaneously kowtowed nine times in Gu Xiechen’s direction, then swallowed the Form Transformation Fruits in their mouths and hastily began drawing in the surrounding Chaos Spiritual Qi.

The Chaos Spiritual Qi across hundreds of millions of li fluctuated violently. A dense yellow light erupted from the bodies of the two beasts, and their forms began to shrink rapidly. In a short time, they shrank to the size of ordinary human beings.

The medicinal power of the Form Transformation Fruit was incredibly potent. The bodies of the two beasts convulsed violently for a while before beginning the transformation toward human form, and the speed of this transformation was frighteningly fast. Limitless Chaos Spiritual Qi continuously flowed into their bodies; their physical forms started expanding again, reaching their original length of over a million li, before rapidly shrinking once more.

Amidst this constant cycle of shrinking and expanding, the bodies of the two beasts gradually took on features increasingly resembling human beings.

Gu Xiechen paid them no mind. He casually collected the remaining Form Transformation Fruits into his Yin Shadow Space and then proceeded to deal with the two remaining soul imprints left by Soul Severing and Spirit Breaking. After effortlessly slaying the soul imprints of the two fierce blades and smoothly seizing all their Great Dao insights and life experiences, a clear energy suddenly shot up from Gu Xiechen’s head, and three lotus flowers the color of chaos surged within that energy.

The Yin Shadow Primordial Spirit and the Chaos Primordial Spirit manifested out of thin air, sitting cross-legged upon the lotuses. Infinite amounts of Chaos Spiritual Qi continuously poured into their bodies, causing the forms of the two primordial spirits to become clearer and their physical strength to increase dramatically. Gradually, the strength of the bodies formed by these two primordial spirits nearly matched the strength of Gu Wuchen’s original body.

And mysteriously, an invisible passage connected Gu Wuchen’s original body and the Solar Primordial Spirit. Endless Chaos Spiritual Qi transformed into a chaotic storm, rushing straight into the Solar Primordial Spirit’s core through this channeled passage, similarly causing the Solar Primordial Spirit to continuously grow stronger.

The Great Dao insights Gu Xiechen seized from the Great Wheel King, Soul Severing, and Spirit Breaking soul imprints were shared simultaneously with his Three Corpses. His fundamental divine sense and the Three Corpses' primordial spirits jointly analyzed and dissected these insights, interpreting the Great Dao comprehension from different perspectives. His own Dao cultivation soared upwards continuously, gradually reaching a profound, ineffable state.

A chasm seemed to appear ahead. Gu Wuchen’s fundamental divine sense clearly perceived that crossing this gulf would lead to boundless heavens and earth, a realm entirely new and fundamentally different from before.

Yet, his current cultivation was still insufficient to allow Gu Ye Chen to bridge this chasm. He lacked but a sliver of power, a fraction of refinement, a mere thread of fate.

But near this very abyss, he perceived the myriad rules governing heaven and earth, sensing the wondrous law of the chaotic void—all-encompassing yet utterly vacant. His form and that of his Three Corpses Primordial Spirit flickered, blurring then solidifying, repeating this manifestation forty-nine times in succession.

The Chaos Bell burst forth from above the Primordial Spirit of Chaos. One hundred and eight successive chimes resonated, and the surrounding chaotic space, spanning billions of li, suddenly collapsed inward. A black hole of immense, incomprehensible size erupted, centered on the Chaos Bell. An infinite torrent of Chaotic Spiritual Qi was ceaselessly devoured by the Bell, whose own physical form grew increasingly distinct, while the chaotic aura it radiated became subtler, more profound, and harder to grasp.

Countless ancient, archaic runes manifested upon the body of the Chaos Bell. After an indeterminate span of time, countless Chaotic Runes drifted free from the Bell’s surface, slowly weaving themselves into Gu Ye Chen’s physical body. The supreme rules emanating from that distant, alien new universe began to integrate themselves into Gu Ye Chen's Primordial Spirit.

Immensely powerful, impossibly difficult. The supreme law of that new universe was far more profound and arduous than anything from Gu Ye Chen’s own cosmos. To Gu Ye Chen, the supreme laws channeled by the Chaos Bell were akin to asking a recent elementary school graduate to explain quantum theory—he was essentially in complete darkness, understanding nothing.

Nevertheless, the alien supreme laws delivered by the Chaos Bell remained perfectly impressed upon Gu Ye Chen’s Primordial Spirit, awaiting his eventual comprehension.

Time flew onward. Through communion with his Solar Primordial Spirit, Gu Ye Chen learned that several decades prior, the Heavenly Maiden Jixiang had infiltrated the Spiral Star Domain to rescue Pōlǐtípi. The Grand Celestial Star Array had been deployed at full power, sealing the entirety of the void, while the Solar Primordial Spirit, alongside the enraged Fuya 7 Ming, led countless forces in pursuit of the Heavenly Maiden.

However, the Heavenly Maiden Jixiang proved to be an anomaly in creation. Although gravely wounded, her divine powers and mystical force had not fully recovered, making escape impossible given the total lockdown of the Spiral Star Domain. Yet, she had wandered through the Domain for decades without ever being apprehended by the Solar Primordial Spirit.

Gu Ye Chen frowned. He simply instructed the Solar Primordial Spirit to keep the Heavenly Maiden occupied, assuring him that once he concluded his affairs in the chaotic space, he would personally return to the Spiral Star Domain to settle accounts with her.

With a few cold laughs, Gu Ye Chen terminated this remarkable session of contemplative cultivation, severing the passage linking him to the Solar Primordial Spirit.

It was only due to this sudden, significant boost in his realm that Gu Ye Chen could pierce the spatial barrier of the Mortal Realm to establish contact with the Solar Primordial Spirit. He could only instruct the Solar Primordial Spirit to guard the Spiral Star Domain well; all other matters would wait for his return. Opening his eyes, a ray of chaotic spiritual light shot forth from Gu Ye Chen's pupils, flashing as fiercely as a bolt of lightning.

Mao E, standing vigil at the entrance of the cave dwelling, shuddered violently. She felt as though Gu Ye Chen's gaze had pierced through her very flesh and soul, leaving her with no secrets remaining under that terrifying scrutiny.

Mao E immediately dropped to her knees, respectfully laying out over a hundred storage rings packed with rare treasures before him. She then bowed deeply, saying, "Exalted One, Mao E, who governs the myriad immortals, has completed the search of the nearby chaotic space. The primordial materials found fill one thousand and seventy-five storage rings. Per your command, Mao E dared not let them stray too far."

Glancing at the large pile of storage rings before him, Gu Ye Chen smiled with pleasure. "Mao E, you have truly labored hard over these years. Hmm, cultivation knows no calendar; in the blink of an eye, eighty-one years have passed. Tsk, tsk!"

After a moment of reflection, Gu Ye Chen flicked his hand, drawing Mao E, along with the Yin Immortals and Taiyin Immortals standing rigidly outside the great mountain, back into the Taiyin Mystic Pearl. He then turned his attention to the two hulking figures kneeling obediently at the cave entrance, not daring to move.

These two men stood nearly four zhang tall. As for their appearance... they could not be called handsome, nor could they be called proper; one could only say their visages would not frighten mortals during the day. But if someone encountered them at midnight, they might well be frightened to death. Green-faced, tusked, and ferocious—these terms described their features perfectly.

The one with darkened skin was the fire-spitting Black Panther; the one with skin as pale as quicksilver was the water-spitting White Tiger. Having received the Spirit Transformation Fruits gifted by Gu Ye Chen, these two had successfully assumed human form, and their intelligence had increased dramatically. Upon transformation, they immediately rushed to Gu Ye Chen's location and waited obediently at the cave mouth for his commands.

The exotic beasts of the chaotic space, precisely because of their low intelligence, possessed the mindset of pure infants, free from cunning or malice. At worst, they were simple-minded, somewhat crude, and savage. Once such exotic beasts pledged allegiance, they became the most loyal and dependable servants, guaranteed never to cause trouble.

Gu Ye Chen observed the two large men with satisfaction, remarking, "Originally, my personal bodyguards were brothers like Xin Jia, but now they are all married and have begotten children. It wouldn't be right to keep them by my side, interfering with their married bliss."

He chuckled sinisterly a few times, then nodded. "From now on, you shall be the Sacred Beasts of Mount Kui under my Nine Nether Dao. When I travel, you will be my close-quarters guards. Hmm, looking at your true forms, this Holy Monarch shall bestow upon you a designation today. Take my surname as your own. One shall be named Gu Bao, and the other Gu Hu. Heh, these names are very low-key, and low-key is best!"

The two men transformed from exotic beasts, Gu Bao and Gu Hu, exchanged pleased glances and promptly bowed their heads to the ground in unison. "We gladly accept the command of the Great Master! Heh heh, we actually have names now!"

These two fellows possessed thick hides, and they put considerable force into their prostrations. With a single impact, the great mountain where Gu Ye Chen had meditated for eighty-one years instantly fractured with a crash, shattering into countless pieces, large and small.

Gu Bao and Gu Hu were startled. They jumped up instantly, shouting in dismay, "Why is this thing so fragile?"

Gu Ye Chen was also startled. He flew up, swept the crumbling mountain into his sleeve, and frowned as he laid down a prohibition for the two: henceforth, without his direct order, they were forbidden from bowing or performing salutations anywhere, and forbidden from wantonly destroying anything!

The Spirit Settling Jade generated within Chaos Space was incredibly sturdy—a precious material that even ordinary Grand Unity Golden Immortals struggled to damage—yet these two had shattered it with a single bow of their heads. If he brought them back to the Spiral Star Domain, their simple nature would lead them to bow to everyone they met. How many planets in the Spiral Star Domain could withstand that kind of energetic greeting?

Fearing the two might forget his instructions, Gu Ye Chen cautioned them repeatedly, then flicked his sleeve. Carrying his two new disciples, he departed the area where he had cultivated for eighty-one years, urging his cloud head deeper into the chaotic space.

According to the memories of Duan Po and Zhan Hun, the Great Evolution Fierce Blades exchanged news periodically. Those hidden Fierce Blades had been cultivating in the chaotic space for many, many years.

Gu Ye Chen eagerly anticipated gathering the source blade intents of all forty-nine Great Evolution Fierce Blades to see what the final form of the so-called Great Evolution Fierce Blade truly looked like.

The chaotic space was boundless. Even with Gu Ye Chen's current cultivation and his speed of ten thousand yi li per instant, he traveled for three full years before approaching the rumored hiding spot of one of the Fierce Blades.

It was a continent floating within the chaos, spanning only a few tens of thousands of li in width and length, yet possessing mountains, rivers, and villages just like the Mortal Realm.

The creation of heaven and earth was truly miraculous; in a space where ordinary Grand Unity Golden Immortals could not survive, there existed such a hidden paradise. On this land mass, spanning tens of thousands of li, there lived tens of millions of mortals, divided into hundreds of nations, currently embroiled in fierce warfare. Gu Ye Chen, bringing Gu Bao and Gu Hu, plunged directly into this continent.

The first chapter is delivered today; the second will follow shortly... F
