Li Chunyu rubbed her forehead and sighed, "You two children..."

Ziye and Sbent twisted their heads simultaneously. "Who's a child?"

Li Chunyu was speechless and pulled them outside. "Let's go see what's happening."

Outside, they saw Aikes had caught up to Chen Yin, and the two were whispering about something. Sbent tried to rush forward again, but this time, Li Chunyu stopped him. "Don't go."

Sbent puffed out his cheeks in frustration and looked away.

On the other side, Aikes guessed, "Are you feeling unwell today?"

Chen Yin silently shook her head.

Aikes was puzzled. "You're usually not like this."

—Though her personality was gentle and timid, she hated crying. If his Ditar father found out they had made her cry, they'd be lucky if they weren't beaten to death.

He put on a long face. "What did I do wrong? Tell me. Sbent and I will fix it immediately."

Chen Yin still didn't speak.

Aikes grew anxious. "My father will beat me to death. Are you really going to treat me this cruelly?"

Chen Yin looked up and saw Ziye and the other two watching them from a distance. She still shook her head. "I'm just in a bad mood; it has nothing to do with you."

Aikes groaned. "Goodness, I really don't understand women."

The atmosphere became a bit tense.

Chen Yin hesitantly looked up at him and saw his brow tightly furrowed. The twins were cheerful and mischievous; they rarely frowned unless Ditar father forced them to do reports.

Chen Yin suddenly felt she had been a bit much.

Everyone in the Angel Domain knew she was sensitive in certain areas. As early as when An Junlie returned from his disappearance and led the legionnaires on a trip to Siya Tu, she had vaguely sensed the presence of someone who held great influence over the Angel Legion. Later, she saw Ziye.

It wasn't that she rejected Ziye; rather, ever since An Junlie saved her once, she had fallen deeply in love with the Commander...

Chen Yin quietly suppressed her feelings and whispered, "Doesn't Ziye still need one more piece of Chaos Ore? We're out of stock here for now. Shall we go look in another galaxy?"

Aikes playfully pinched her cheek. "Okay."

The trio of Ziye watched with bated breath. Seeing the two return hand in hand, they finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"There’s no Chaos Ore here; we'll go to the next galaxy." Aikes didn't mention the previous incident at all, speaking with a slight smile. "Once we get the materials, I'll treat you all to a grand meal."

The three of them laughed, tacitly agreeing not to bring up the recent events. Ziye said, "Good, wait for me for a moment; I'll go get Douzai." Saying this, she ran toward the warehouse.

Sbent chuckled. "It's that pig, right?" He followed her as he spoke. Why do girls like that fat, silly thing so much? I really don't understand. Sigh, women's taste is so worrying.

The warehouse was enormous, filled with metals measured in tens of thousands of fang. One needed a magnetic levitation vehicle to navigate inside. Ziye paused by the door, silently praising her brilliant decision to leave the carriers outside.

However, when she reached the entrance, Douzai was gone!

Douzai's fur was very light in color, which should have made it conspicuous in the dark metal warehouse. She wasn't overly concerned, turning around to look, checking left, right, front, and back, but couldn't find it.

Ziye felt something was wrong and called out loudly, "Douzai? Douzai, where are you?"

Sbent walked over and asked, "Did it wander off somewhere?"

Ziye nodded and continued calling out everywhere.

Sbent rarely praised Douzai’s actions, but he gave it a thumbs-up for running off—a rare feat. However, he didn't think finding a pig-like pet would be difficult. Its limbs were barely visible; how far could it run? It couldn't even fly, even if it had wings. He activated his ultra-comms, informed Aikes, and asked him to inquire with the warehouse manager. Then, he went to the parking lot, got into a mag-lev vehicle, and drove into the warehouse to search.

Aikes and the other two waiting outside were greatly surprised when they heard the news, and naturally, they came over to help search.

Ziye was losing patience and threatened, "Douzai, if you don't come out now, I won't want you anymore!"

This carelessly woke up Little Sprout, who had been sleeping curled up in a bag. It popped out of the bag and shouted, "If you dare not want Douzai, I'll fight you!"

Ziye looked up to the heavens, speechless.

One search attempt failed, but it woke up the other. These two together can drive a person insane! To restore peace, she feigned helplessness. "It's not that I don't want it; it's that it doesn't want me and ran away on its own."

Little Sprout smacked her head with a sprout, spread its wings, and flew into the air. "Hmph, you definitely hid it on purpose, then pretended it ran away! I'll never trust you again!" With that, it traced a beautiful arc in the air and flew off to search for its offspring.

The five of them drove the mag-lev vehicles, splitting up to search the boundless warehouse, yet none of them could find it. Could that thing have burrowed into a pile of metal and started eating? For a creature that ate metal, a metal warehouse was equivalent to a land of ginseng and sea cucumber—the ultimate tonic. The key question was, what would it choose to eat? Its favorite—silver-like metal?

Ziye immediately messaged Aikes on the ultra-comms: "Does this warehouse have any silver-like metals?"

Aikes looked up and scanned the surroundings. "I'm near the silver-like metals; I don't see anything."

Ziye was nearly in despair. She clenched her fist and hardened her heart, just about to give up the search, when Little Sprout's highly penetrating voice called out, "Found it! It's here!"

Its voice carried an intense sonic wave that everyone in the warehouse heard. They all looked up, but they couldn't see Little Sprout's silhouette. Amidst millions of cubic meters of metal, it was as tiny as a grain of sand.

Little Sprout looked down at the people spinning around like headless flies, its nose twitching with anger. "You bunch of idiots! I'm on top of the third metal mountain on the left side."

Only then did everyone locate their target and promptly raise their mag-lev vehicles, flying toward the summit of the third metal structure.

"You dummy, I told you not to climb so high! If Ziye Mama abandons you, you won't even have a place to cry!" Little Sprout lectured while fanning Douzai with its wings.

On the mountaintop, Douzai stared at Little Sprout with watery, bright eyes but said nothing, clutching a piece of metal tightly with its front paws. Fortunately, it was nestled atop a purified metal mountain, not a raw ore mountain; otherwise, covered in ore dust, even throwing it into the ocean wouldn't clean it.

Ziye stared at Douzai dumbfounded. How on earth did this thing climb to the top of the metal mountain? —Perhaps only it knew the answer.

"Douzai, do you really like the food here?" Ziye tempted softly. "Here, you can eat lots and lots of metal, and there's a very pretty and very gentle sister. Do you want to stay?"

Little Sprout was furious. "I knew you did it!" It flew in front of Douzai, stretched out the tiny sprout on its head, pointed it at Ziye, looking like a mother hen confronting an eagle trying to snatch her chick, and spoke firmly: "You deliberately threw it here so they couldn't find it, didn't you?"

Ziye looked utterly innocent. Heaven is my witness, it truly wasn't me!

Chen Yin drove her mag-lev vehicle over to Ziye and said softly, "It's unnecessary. Your pet likes you very much; I won't force the issue."

Little Sprout shouted, "Did you hear that?"

Ziye quickly apologized. "I was wrong, I was wrong. I will raise it well from now on and never abandon it, or may I be struck by lightning!" As she spoke, she reached out to hug Douzai. Little Sprout hopped onto her head and let out a haughty "Hmph."

Ziye waved her hand at the three onlookers and was about to apologize when Chen Yin suddenly exclaimed in surprise, "Why is there Chaos Ore here? This mountain was clearly stocked with isotopic metal."

Everyone looked and saw that it was indeed Chaos Ore, just a tiny spot on the peak, less than ten tons. They had been so focused on Little Sprout that they had overlooked this obvious fact. Luckily, Chaos Ore and isotopic metal were clearly distinguishable, and their densities were different, making identification easy. Chen Yin was just confused about how such a basic error could occur in the warehouse, leading her to believe there was no Chaos Ore left.

She reported the misplaced metal ore issue to the warehouse manager via ultra-comms, then ordered a robot to retrieve one hundred kilograms, package it, and send it via express delivery to Lingsi University.

The materials issue was resolved effortlessly!

Aikes and Sbent grinned. "No need to look for materials anymore, let's go play. There's a very beautiful planet in the Angel Domain's Jundu Galaxy. We can truly stand on the ground, feel the cycle of day and night, and enjoy the sun and sand."

You could never see a sunrise in space. In a space station, everything—the scenery, the light, the imitation of natural wind—was artificial. Hearing the twins speak like tour guides, Ziye couldn't help but laugh. There were two days left before they had to return to school; relaxing might be good.

The twins pulled Chen Yin along. The group of five, plus Douzai and Little Sprout, set off grandly toward Jundu.

Ziye had been to Jundu once before, the headquarters of the Angel Legion, to deliver two robots to An Junlie. She had been in a hurry then and hadn't paid much attention. But for her, no matter which legion or space station she visited, the scenery always seemed monotonous; the only difference was the view of the planets.

The thought of living leisurely like on Yin Fu immediately lifted Ziye's spirits. She stared intently as the shuttle pierced the void and docked at Jundu Station No. 1 after an extreme warp jump.

"Classmates, follow me," the twins said, stepping off the shuttle first and waiting for the others on either side. If they hadn't spoken, they would have looked every bit like gentlemen.

The group hopped off, chattering excitedly about where to go for fun as they headed toward the airship docking point—the safest and fastest way to descend to the planet.

Woooo— A long air defense alarm sounded throughout the space station, deep and laced with warning. The expressions of the three from the Angel Legion—the twins and Chen Yin—instantly changed!
