The grand vision is expansive, but reality is harsh and unforgiving. Ziye stepped in, and before she could even settle into the sofa, her Chao Xun chimed. She nearly leaped up like a startled bird; her phobia of the device was worsening.

Cautiously, Ziye opened the Chao Xun. It was An Junlie. She let out a huge sigh of relief, leaning back against the sofa, languidly asking, "Alien, what do you want with me?"

An Junlie guessed, "You haven't gotten out of bed yet?"

Ziye pouted, "I've been up for ages, okay?"

An Junlie countered, "Then why didn't I see you at the venue?"

Ziye instantly sprang up from the sofa, "You came too?"

An Junlie shook his head helplessly, "The Wolf's Den is being established; how could I not be there?"

Ziye grumbled, "I'm not going. I don't like dealing with people."

An Junlie paused, then smiled faintly, "Then you stay and hang out with Aics and Bent first. I'll find you after it's over."

Hearing that the twins were also present, Ziye instantly perked up, "Great!"

She closed the Chao Xun and dashed out the back door. After only a few steps, she saw them being interviewed by the media as spectators. Watching them pose coolly for the cameras, she genuinely wanted to rush over and cover their faces.

All the interviews were being broadcast live. Ziye consoled herself: as the host, she couldn't disgrace the Wolf's Den. She repeated this mantra until the interviews concluded, only then approaching to greet them.

When the twins spotted Ziye, their eyes lit up green. They spread their arms, enveloping her from both sides. Little Douya shrieked and zipped out of the encirclement, watching Ziye buried between the two of them, then laughed maniacally, "Ga-ga, I told you you were dull, and you are!"

With four arms squeezing her, all the air rushed out of Ziye’s lungs, and she nearly suffocated. She moaned, "You two, can you let go first?"

The twins replied in unison, "No way!"

Ziye exasperatedly asked, "What do you want? Kidnapping?"

"Why didn't you reply to my Chao Xun messages the other day?"

"Why didn't you answer my emails the other day?"

The brothers flanked her, one on each side, and Ziye couldn't decide whose complaints to address first. She pried their hands apart, saying, "I was busy then! I had no time!"

The twins demonstrated their unbeatable synchronicity again, "Liar! You must have had time after everything was settled, right?"

After things were settled, she went with Tang Wen to Silver Rune Star. After leaving Silver Rune Star, they had a meeting on the cruiser. After the meeting, she worked at Sprout. Finally, on a rare weekend, she came to the Water Cloud Galaxy for the founding ceremony of the Wolf's Den...

Ziye reflected for a moment and immediately felt she possessed the qualities of an Iron Man. With a chuckle, she said, "Aren't I right in front of you now?"

As soon as the words left her mouth, two fists struck toward her from either side. Terrified, she hugged her head, "I was wrong, I was wrong! Please don't hit me."

The twins weren't serious about hitting her. They pulled her up, saying, "Chun'er is inside. We promised to play with him later."

Ziye froze, "He came too?"

The twins nodded together, "Yep. He came with the leader of the Huaxia Legion. It's my first time seeing the Huaxia Legion leader—he looks so otherworldly, like an immortal detached from mortal affairs. Didn't you see them?"

Ziye shook her head with regret.

The twins asked again, "Did you see anyone from the mysterious Tang Sect?"

Ziye looked stunned, "The Tang Sect sent people too?" She distinctly remembered not seeing a flower basket from the Tang Sect when she was taking inventory.

Aics mused thoughtfully, "They usually don't attend these kinds of events, but they always send flower baskets. Commander Master said when the Angel Domain was first established, they only received five pairs of flower baskets, and one pair was from the Tang Sect. He never forgot that. So, our entire legion is very grateful to the Tang Sect."

Was that true?

Ziye frowned, replaying the image of all the baskets she had counted earlier. She truly hadn't seen the Tang Sect's name. If she hadn't known Tang Wen was connected to the Tang Sect, it wouldn't have mattered, but knowing the link, the fact that the Tang Sect hadn't sent a basket made her feel uncomfortable. She turned and ran off to find the staff member in charge of the floral arrangements.

"How did you know the Tang Sect sent a basket?" The staff member asked in surprise, "Just when I thought no more guests were coming, someone suddenly approached me, presented a flower basket, and said, 'Congratulations on the formal establishment of the Wolf's Den Legion. This is a small token from my family head; please accept it.'"

The three of them said in unison, "And then?"

The staff member replied, "The moment I saw the signature on the basket, I was stunned. I didn't even have time to say thank you before the person vanished."

Ziye was puzzled, "Why would a perfectly normal person suddenly disappear?"

The staff member tried to recall the scene, frowning, "I don't know what happened. There were people coming and going, and the person wasn't particularly noticeable. Once he vanished, I immediately forgot what he looked like."

Ziye and the twins exchanged glances.

The Tang Sect? The Divine Gate!

Not seeing the Tang Sect members wasn't that upsetting anymore; having the basket was enough. She was easily satisfied. So, that morning, she wandered around with the twins.

At noon, the Wolf's Den hosted a grand banquet.

Ziye wasn't interested in that spectacle. She found Li Chunyu, and the four of them reunited. They found an inconspicuous corner to grab a bite to eat, then decisively left the noisy venue for a quieter spot.

Li Chunyu looked at her with a scrutinizing gaze, "Ziye, you've lost weight."

Ziye touched her face and sighed silently. This past half-month felt like several years. Forget losing weight; her heart felt decades older.

Only when she was with them could she recapture that feeling of being carefree.

To change the subject, she grabbed the twins, "You guys are more familiar with this area. Take us out to play?"

Li Chunyu, gentle and considerate in nature, didn't press the issue when Ziye seemed reluctant to talk, smiling sweetly, "Okay, we'll go play. In a couple more days, we have to head back to school to prepare the materials for building mechas."

Bringing up this topic was exactly what Ziye didn't need. It immediately reminded her that she hadn't even started preparing her materials. In two days, she had to return to school. Iron Hand was swamped with matters concerning the Star Gate, leaving her no time at all for her materials...

Waaah, she was about to cry.

The twins knew what was wrong without needing an explanation. They extended their hands, "Give it here, we'll help you."

Ziye shook her head, "I think I should do it myself."

The twins glared at her simultaneously, "You don't trust us?"

Ziye quickly explained, "That's not what I meant. I just feel like this is my summer assignment, and it would be embarrassing to dump it on you."

The twins exchanged a look, then chuckled, "It's fine if you finish it yourself. Come with us instead."

Ziye wondered curiously, "Where are we going?"

Bent smiled, "To the Tianlin Galaxy, not far from here. It's rich in metals. Since Yin Yin is here, we can go find her, and you can even work on it yourself."

Li Chunyu nodded in agreement, "Let's go while we have the time."

Ziye asked, "Don't you guys need to be here?"

Aics rubbed her head, "Silly Little Yezi, what fun is there with a bunch of old men? I'll just send a Chao Xun message to Commander Master."

As he spoke, Li Chunyu sent the message, adding with a smile, "He's right. I just tagged along to make up the numbers. Let's go."

Since they had insisted so much, Ziye didn't refuse. Since she wasn't needed for anything at the Wolf's Den, she simply informed Black Beard, packed a few things quickly, and boarded the newly opened Angel Domain's dedicated Wolf's Den-Angel line, flying toward the Tianlin Galaxy.

They chatted and laughed all the way; it wasn't lonely.

The twins were mischievous. Anything they said sounded like a glorious celebration, no matter how mundane.

When they reached Chen Yin's place, the four of them got to work together. With the addition of the super-professional Chen Yin, their work was incredibly efficient.

Chen Yin, that gentle and refined girl, spoke softly, but the moment metal ores were mentioned, her eyes would shine brightly, radiating the confidence of an expert.

Ziye couldn't help but think of her own chubby Douzai; it was exactly like this woman before her.

She simply opened the cultivation box and took it out.

When Chen Yin saw Douzai, her bright eyes immediately began emitting a vibrant green glow, "What an adorable pet! I love it!!"

Douzai responded with an expression of sheer bliss, rubbing its plump body vigorously against Chen Yin's cheek.

What was going on?

Like attracts like?

Ziye was stunned for a moment, then overcome with joyous tears.

This was the first person she had met who liked Douzai! Heaven had finally allowed her to find someone who could feed it and loved it! If not now, then when!

Ziye coughed lightly, "Sister Chen Yin..."

Chen Yin realized she had lost her composure and quickly held Douzai close, apologizing with a flushed face, "I'm sorry, I just like it so much. Please don't be offended."

Ziye grinned, "Would you like me to give it to you? It's very easy to care for. In the future, you just need to toss it one high-purity metal rod every day for it to grind its teeth. It rarely poops, and when it does, you just need to clean it up and put the droppings away."

Chen Yin whispered, "Is that really okay?"

The twins pictured Chen Yin pinching her nose while cleaning up the droppings and burst out laughing impolitely, clapping their hands, "Sister Chen Yin is going to be a nanny for her pet now, ho ho."

Chen Yin puffed out her cheeks, looking at the twins, almost on the verge of tears, "You guys always like to bully people."

The twins saw the tears welling up in her eyes, and they stuck out their tongues and made faces at her, angering her so much that she bolted out the door.

Li Chunyu and Ziye looked at each other, both momentarily stunned.

Li Chunyu reacted faster, shoving Aics nearby, "Go chase her, brother!"

Bent paused, about to run out as well, but Ziye quickly grabbed his arm, holding him back, "One person is enough to go." If both of them went, they would only make Chen Yin feel worse.

Bent was confused, "Something isn't right. When did Sister Chen Yin become so tearful? Did something happen?"

Ziye felt the weight in her arms was terrifyingly heavy, so she placed Douzai on the floor and rubbed her arm, "You guys really don't know how to cherish a girl's feelings."

Bent made a funny face, "Are you saying we don't know how to cater to your feelings?"
