An Junlie sighed, "It's the same whether I discuss it with you or not. That area is on the fringe of the galaxy, riddled with meteoroids, and remote—transportation isn't very convenient. You must know this. If you lease exclusive rights for the entire system, it’s ten billion a year." The Angel Corps currently lacked the time or energy to develop the Tianyun Galaxy, and due to its unfavorable location, it had never been leased out. He hadn't expected Zi Ye to be the one to lease it. He understood exactly how deeply this matter had struck Zi Ye. He had offered a considerably favorable rate on the rent. Furthermore, while he couldn't openly assist, he would certainly ensure she received justice behind the scenes. Zi Ye nodded, "Fine. Does the Tianyun Galaxy have a space station?" An Junlie paused briefly in thought, "There is a nearly derelict three-star space station." Zi Ye stated, "I require a five-star space station. Whether you modify or renovate it, it must be completed within two weeks." An Junlie conceded with resignation, "The customer is God. I promise you." Zi Ye nodded, "Good. Send the finalized contract to me once it's ready. Goodbye." With that, she severed the link. An Junlie stared, stunned, at the dimmed comms screen, an uncontrollable ache rising in his chest. Was this truly Zi Ye? That cold demeanor, that emotionless tone—it was as if he were merely a stranger to her...
After putting down the comms unit, Zi Ye looked at the circled portion on the star map. The Tianyun Galaxy lay far to the extreme west of the Angel Domain; west of Tianyun Galaxy was undeveloped, belonging to the Savage Territories. Below the Tianyun Galaxy was mainly an asteroid belt, and 5 AU above it ran the Dragon Scale Corps' interstellar route. To the east and north of the Tianyun Galaxy was a minor legion called Hope. Zi Ye gently nudged Little Sprout, "Find me data on the Hope Legion and the executive officer's ultra-comm number." Little Sprout, having finally found purpose, conducted a carpet search across the net, retrieving the Hope Legion's data within minutes. The history of the Hope Legion was somewhat complicated. The first-generation commander was the younger brother of the Interstellar Federation President. After losing a power struggle, he fled with his followers and established his own legion. However, they chose the wrong location; bordered on one side by the Angel Domain's territory and on the other by the Moko family, one of the Four Great Families, they could only survive in the gap, lacking economic strength and unable to advance politically.
Zi Ye obtained the number for the Hope Legion's Chief Executive Officer and dialed through the ultra-comm, "Hello, I am the director of the Wolf's Den Legion. I wish to lease land." The Hope Legion's system was slightly smaller than those in the Angel Domain, possessing only one planet and five asteroid belts. The lease was concluded at six billion annually. Having finalized the deal, Zi Ye turned back to the continually heating news on the light screen, snorted coldly, and made a gun shape with her hand, pointing it one by one at the screen, "I shall return!" All the robots from the venue remained; without further instruction, they stood dutifully around the perimeter. Zi Ye called out loudly, "Children, pack up. We're going home!" She found Black Beard's industrial vessel used for transporting robots and props, piloted it to the front of the exhibition hall, extended the access ramp to dock with the semi-open venue, and directed the robots, carrying props in sequence, onto the industrial vessel to return to the Sprout Villa. Black Beard had just finished correcting his ribs when he saw Zi Ye approaching with a procession of robots trailing in their flowing red dresses. Though it should have been a visually pleasing scene, Black Beard inexplicably sensed an intense wave of killing intent. Zi Ye, standing at the center, looked fiercely resolute, completely unlike her usual self. There were no tears in her eyes. —The cosmos does not care for tears. Black Beard knew she understood this fact now, and the thought of a young woman being pushed to this state caused a subtle pang in his heart. Black Beard lowered his head, wiped his face, and when he looked up again, his expression was normal. Once they met up, he relayed Ah Piao's situation to Zi Ye. Zi Ye was silent for a long moment before instructing, "Tell Ah Can to change the frequency of the comms unit to avoid continued surveillance." Black Beard nodded; he hadn't considered that. Zi Ye continued, "Give me Ah Piao's clone information. I will handle the tracking and destruction." Black Beard was slightly surprised by this, but seeing her determined expression, he knew she must have a way, so he said no more.
Zi Ye opened her optical computer and forwarded two contracts to Black Beard from it, "Old Black, I've leased land next to the Angel Domain. We'll be moving over the next few days." Black Beard was startled, "How much did you lease?" Zi Ye opened the star map and outlined the area for him, "Two small systems. Tianyun Galaxy and Beers Galaxy. The annual rent is sixteen billion." Black Beard was quiet for a moment, "That’s fine too; I was just thinking about where to relocate. Going there is good. It's just that the rent is a bit high; I just received a massive cancellation of robot orders, resulting in a direct financial loss of about ten billion." Zi Ye took out a card and placed it in Black Beard's hand, "I have a few billion here; pay the deposit first. There will be sufficient funds for the full year's rent shortly. In the future..." Black Beard considered that even a poor legion could generate thirty billion in income annually with someone pioneering the way. After this difficult period, it shouldn't be hard for her. However, she had always refused An Junlie's previous goodwill; why change her mind now? "Did you ask An Junlie for help?" Zi Ye slowly shook her head and uttered five words, "Liu Bei borrowing Jing Province." Black Beard understood instantly. It had to be said that the location Zi Ye chose was excellent. Being within the Angel Domain meant the protection of that behemoth; even if someone wanted to annex the Wolf's Den, they would hesitate to cause trouble inside the Angel Domain. Moreover, the vast undeveloped star systems offered room for the legion's future expansion.
Black Beard and Zi Ye inspected the site and signed the contracts. While waiting for the Angel Domain to upgrade the space station to five stars, they notified the legion members. Big Head sent group comms, urgently recalling everyone outside of the Angel Domain stationed on Silver Seal Star, and simultaneously summoned all personnel who had joined the Wolf's Den Legion to Conference Room One at the Wolf's Den Villa. In just one year, the small group of just Red Hair, Black Beard, and Zi Ye had grown to two or three hundred people. Facing the mostly anxious personnel, Zi Ye stated solemnly, "Trust me, this is our last move—to the Tianyun Galaxy. Our Wolf's Den Legion is absolutely not a retreating turtle. Whoever bullied us today, whoever wronged us, we will take it back! If you still wish to stay with the Wolf's Den Legion, please follow us; if not, you may choose to join the Sprout Group. If you choose to leave, please inform Wang Tou." Wang Tou was the new name Big Head adopted in the cosmos. The conference hall instantly erupted as if a pot had exploded. Zi Ye didn't want to watch them walk toward Big Head one by one, so she turned and exited the hall. Black Beard glanced at the hall, which resembled a marketplace, and followed her out, standing beside her, asking, "What is your plan?" Zi Ye turned her head to look at him, "I want those who owe us to repay us; those who stole from us to return it; those who consumed our resources to spit it out!" Black Beard sighed in admiration, shaking his head. The Zi Ye before him was even more ruthless than Red Hair! Fortunately, the majority of the legion members were willing to relocate to the Tianyun Galaxy. For the small portion unwilling to go, Big Head processed their withdrawal procedures, and then the group packed up and moved lock, stock, and barrel. Except for the machinery and equipment left in the basement of the Rose Garden and Sprout Villa, everything else was moved. Robots are highly efficient; the three villas—Sprout, Rose, and Wolf's Den—quickly became empty. Apart from a few people stationed on the asteroid belt where the pervert grows roses, the rest left in small groups via interstellar buses. The Pervert's rose garden was currently the Wolf's Den's sole source of income. His roses yielded massive production; the rose jam alone sold twenty thousand jars, and the annual output of rose essential oil reached 3,000 kilograms, not including the fresh decorative roses provided for various banquets. If it weren't for supporting an entire legion, the Pervert would have long been a minor millionaire!
Big Head instructed Hidden Rumble to scout ahead, followed by the industrial vessels. He stood at the entrance of the battleship and shouted to Zi Ye and Black Beard, "Hurry up and get on!" Zi Ye and Black Beard exchanged a look and simultaneously shook their heads. Black Beard stated, "You and Red Hair are responsible for everything on the new territory. Zi Ye and I will handle the revenge and aftermath!" Big Head nodded, entered the ship, closed the hatch, and departed. Watching them leave, Black Beard said, "We must leave. This place is no longer safe; someone could arrive at any moment." Zi Ye smiled, "It’s perfect if they come; I was worried about not having company." Black Beard raised an eyebrow slightly, "It would be better if we stayed in a hotel." Zi Ye agreed, "Good. You book the hotel; I'll arrange the villa." The two split up. Zi Ye returned to the Sprout Villa, retrieved the 20 W-series butler robots reserved from the warehouse, and had Little Sprout install combat systems. In mere minutes, all W-series butlers were transformed into high-combat bodyguards. She turned on the lights, distributed all of Red Hair's firearms and ammunition to them, "Anyone who trespasses, do not let them leave alive." The robots bowed in unison, "Yes, Mama Zi Ye!" Zi Ye's expression darkened slightly, "Stop calling me Mama Zi Ye." The robots bowed again, "Yes, Madam Zi Ye." Zi Ye patted the leading robot butler, "Don't get your pretty clothes dirty; I don't have money to buy new ones." With that, she pulled a robot from the line to act as an assistant, helping her pack her clothes, take Douzai, and meet up with Black Beard. Leaving the villa, she looked back at the brightly lit residence, where silhouettes moved vaguely inside, giving the impression that someone still resided there. She paused for two seconds, about to sigh, but remembering that the ordeal was far from over, she swallowed the breath back down and moved forward resolutely—The task is not yet complete; comrades must continue to strive!
Black Beard booked five presidential suites at the Tira Hotel on Kolay Station 21. The Tira Hotel was one of Kolay's most luxurious establishments. Zi Ye stood before the hotel, gazing at the magnificent, gold-laden lobby, and gave Black Beard a thumbs-up. This move was excellent. Kolay was Interstellar Federation territory, but the Tira Hotel was operated by the Fia Family's hotel group. Fia and the Interstellar Federation were mortal enemies; any slight move by the Federation could be used by Fia to stir up trouble. The Federation would thus have to think twice before acting. By staying inside, they secured a basic level of safety.
Zi Ye had been followed since leaving the Sprout Villa, right up until she entered the hotel. After she checked in, the tails immediately booked rooms as well. However, Black Beard had the foresight to book the rooms next door and across the hall under different identities. The surveillance group, being deep-pocketed, cared little for the money and offered triple the price to force the occupants to vacate so they could continue their watch. Three rooms, triple the price. Black Beard laughed, looking at the account balance, "Indeed, one's own business is the most profitable! We essentially get five days of free lodging." Yet, beneath the satisfaction, there was a trace of melancholy. Zi Ye paid it no mind, leaving the surface-level logistics to him while she retreated to her room with the robots, Douzai, and Little Sprout. Black Beard stroked his chin and mused whether he should throw open the doors and charge an entrance fee for meetings. At this moment, countless people wanted to see him. Dealers wanted to cancel orders; investors sought to acquire the Sprout Group cheaply while their popularity was low; speculators wanted to hoard goods or control the Sprout's lifeline through this means; purchasers wanted to acquire robots at lower prices... among them were spectators and media figures. Sometimes people are strange. Before the press conference, Black Beard couldn't eat or sleep well, terrified of messing up. After the press conference, although enraged, he became fearlessly bold; since they had already hit rock bottom, no amount of recklessness could make things worse. This sense of indifference allowed them to loosen up more than usual, executing their methods more cleanly.
After settling in, Zi Ye calmly went to the restaurant to acquire two dinners. A stream of followers trailed behind her, but due to their apprehension of her, and perhaps even more so of the other surveillance groups, a strange equilibrium formed where no one dared approach to exchange a greeting. Zi Ye gave a cold smile, delivered the dinners to Black Beard's room, and then returned to her own. Douzai was rolling on the carpet, gripping its pure metal teething stick, while Little Sprout hovered in the air, scanning the room, eliminating all listening and monitoring devices, then unfurled an electromagnetic shield and flew into Zi Ye's embrace affectionately. Zi Ye opened her optical computer and displayed the physical data of the fake Ah Piao, "Help me locate the whereabouts of the fake Ah Piao's clone." Little Sprout perked up its wings, "Orders received!" When Little Sprout acts, success is immediate. Zi Ye opened the meal box, but before she could manage half a bite, Little Sprout's tiny sprout extended toward her, moving like a snake's head, "Kolay Station Three, Tuki Medical University Third Affiliated Hospital, Clone Base Number Two." Zi Ye was wrestling with a poultry egg using a fork, unable to lift a whole one cleanly. In a sudden burst of anger, she stabbed the egg with the fork. With a soft pop, the egg split in two. She raised the fork with satisfaction, "Eradicate it!" Little Sprout, seeing the look in her eyes as she stared at the egg—the same look she reserved for the fake Ah Piao's clone—shuddered slightly, burrowed into the network, located the precise coordinates, chuckled wickedly, and implanted a virus...
