Upon arriving at the club, everything proceeded smoothly.

The assistant immediately arranged for a doctor to treat Red Hair’s injuries.

Treating the wounds was the most convenient, easiest, and quickest procedure. The doctor merely needed to extract everything foreign from her wounds, clean the area thoroughly, and then commence cellular repair, using medical techniques to promote cell growth and replenish lost blood.

After this sequence was completed, it was nearly five in the morning. Red Hair's condition stabilized, and Lan Li and the other two departed the infirmary to rest in their respective rooms, leaving behind only a robot, a nurse, and Sproutling.

Sproutling sat quietly by the bedside, watching Red Hair, contemplating whether to remain or depart for the Angelic Domain. Clearly, Lan Li’s next destination was Seattle, not the Angelic Domain.

Stowing away on his ship was out of the question.

Sproutling let out a breath. It started missing Ziye again; if it hadn't run away, it would currently be sleeping soundly in Ziye’s warm nest.

Just then, something seemed to enter its automatic receiving protocol.

It checked—it was an email from Blackbeard. The tone was urgent: “I’ve searched for her all night and couldn't find her. Tell me, how is she? I’ll compensate you handsomely!”

Sproutling instinctively moved to send the current coordinates, but then paused. Even if Blackbeard rushed over, the security here was tight; he might not even be able to get in. So, it extended a tiny tendril and traced a line across Red Hair’s face. “Blackbeard is looking for you. When you’re better, go back yourself, alright? I’m leaving. I’m continuing my runaway adventure.”

Saying this, Sproutling retracted its sproutling appendage, flapped its wings, and quietly flew out from behind the young nurse.

It was the fearless Sproutling, ready to pursue its grand plan of running away from home!

Red Hair awoke around noon.

Upon waking in a luxurious presidential suite, she momentarily believed she had time-traveled. Indeed, having witnessed storms, she merely sat up and calmly asked the young nurse reviewing medical reports beside her, "Who brought me here?"

The young nurse stood up and replied softly, "Mr. Lan Li did."

Lan Li? Red Hair searched her memory banks for the name. As a high-level pirate active across various star systems, she kept track of all significant figures.

Could it be the Deputy Commander of the Angelic Corps who had successfully sued the Fia family? Red Hair scanned the room and, as expected, spotted the Angelic Corps emblem near the datapad.

Good. Red Hair settled back onto the bed, realizing that within the territory of the Angelic Corps, with the great deity An Junlie protecting her, she could rest easy.

During this period, all major factions would surely be hunting for her. She couldn't return to the villa, nor could she drag Ziye or Blackbeard into trouble. The Angelic Corps was truly a sanctuary sent from the heavens.

She was thoroughly satisfied!

The young nurse was deeply impressed by her composure.

She had anticipated Red Hair might interrogate her, or perhaps hysterically believe she had been reborn and demand to leave immediately. Disappointed that her well-rehearsed speech was unnecessary, the nurse quietly sent an update to the attending physician.

The attending physician immediately reported to Lan Li.

Five minutes later, Lan Li entered, dressed in magnificent attire. The creamy white, streamlined fabric, complemented by subtle yet enhancing upper-body embellishments, perfectly showcased his fashionable and individualistic aura—altogether grand, elegant, yet approachable.

Crucially, he held a bouquet of sunflowers. The yellow blossoms perfectly complemented his cream-white ensemble, making him appear utterly dashing.

Red Hair, grateful to her savior, sat up and swung her legs off the bed, preparing to speak. Before she could, Lan Li dropped to one knee before her. "My beautiful lady, would you deign to date me with the intent of marriage?"

The young nurse watching nearby was utterly stunned!

She covertly glanced at the sincere Deputy Commander, deeply feeling she was witnessing a historic moment. Mr. Lan Li was actually kneeling before someone!

Red Hair must be his true love.

The nurse felt moved by Lan Li herself, gazing at Red Hair with starry eyes, her mind chanting, Get together, get together, get together!

Red Hair coquettishly tossed her cascade of long, dark hair and struck her most captivating pose. Unsurprisingly, she saw utter fascination in Lan Li's eyes.

Pleased with the effect, she leaned slightly, gracefully accepted the bouquet, and delicately sniffed it. "Hmm, it lacks the fragrance of those perverted roses." Using fingers as delicate as spring onions, she plucked a sunflower petal, popped it into her mouth, chewed, and immediately frowned. "The taste is slightly inferior." Far inferior to the dead pervert’s roses.

The dead pervert’s roses were the finest blossoms she had ever tasted; eating them left a lingering aroma, a pure fragrance that permeated her organs, leaving her refreshed.

For those from the Silver Talisman, eating flowers was perfectly normal. But to outsiders, it registered with only three words: utterly insane.

Lan Li, considering himself worldly, faced this deviation from the norm and felt like he was watching an old ox consume a peony. He inwardly grumbled, What planet did this creature crawl from?

However, Lan Li was not one to be easily fazed. He maintained a gentle, warm smile, stood up, and retrieved the flowers. "My beautiful lady, your charm cannot be described by these common blooms. They are unworthy to sully your lovely phoenix eyes or your sensual lips. Allow me to dispose of them."

Red Hair waved a hand dismissively. "It's fine. I'm hungry anyway; I can make do." Saying this, she plucked the petals one by one and ate them quickly, though her movements remained elegant. In a few swift motions, she had consumed an entire flower. She licked her lips, clearly unsatisfied. "Too bad eating flowers doesn't fill the stomach."

Lan Li could no longer maintain his composure. He snatched the bouquet back and tossed it toward the young nurse. "Take this outside."

The nurse was still reeling from the shock of watching a beauty devour a sunflower. When the flowers came flying toward her, she instinctively reached out and caught them, obediently walking out.

Once outside the door, she suddenly snapped awake, slapping her thigh. "Why did I leave? It’s a crime against myself not to watch such a good show!"

Red Hair, finding nothing left to eat, sat back on the bed with disappointment, then suddenly flashed a flirtatious smile and held out her hand. "Give it here."

Lan Li instantly reverted to his gentlemanly demeanor. "Whatever flower you desire, I will order immediately."

Red Hair scoffed. "Didn't you just mention marriage? Where's the ring? Don't think such bad-tasting flowers can buy me off! Though I must say upfront, I probably won't marry anyone. You can marry into my family."

Lan Li suddenly realized he had drastically underestimated this woman. A woman capable of wiping out the Fia family's pirate forces and surviving herself shouldn't be taken lightly.

But this woman was... interesting!

Lan Li was certainly not a petty man. He reached out and began removing the ring from his little finger. Red Hair's eyes flickered, interrupting his movement. "I don't want a ring right now."

Lan Li paused, adopting an expression of "I am eager to hear more." He wanted to see where Red Hair’s limits lay. Play games with him? Ha.

Red Hair clapped her hands, laughing like a nouveau riche tycoon. "How much for one night? Name your price. I'll rent you out."

Ziye habitually woke up at six in the morning. Not finding Sproutling curled up on her chest or nestled near her waist, she felt a quiet satisfaction; the little sprout had finally behaved itself.

She threw back the covers and called out, "Good Sprout, time to get up."

Receiving no reply, she was surprised. Had it woken up already?

How rare.

Ziye got up, ran in the gym, practiced her martial arts, showered, and finished breakfast. It was nearing nine o'clock, and Sproutling still hadn't appeared. The silence felt overly pronounced. She rushed back to the room to search, not finding it. Only then did she sense something was wrong. Had she accidentally squashed it in her sleep last night?

She ran back to the room, flipped the bedding over, and searched under the bed—nothing.

Could she have accidentally flushed it down the toilet while using the washroom? Ziye instantly felt a jolt of horror. She rushed to check the washroom again, concluded it couldn't possibly have fallen in, and felt even more uneasy.

Where on earth did it go?

Perhaps it was deliberately hiding, wanting her to search for it? Ziye snorted, calling out loudly in the room, "If you don't come out now, I won't talk to you anymore!" Then, resolutely stopping the search, she calmly went to the balcony chair, sat down, and accessed the net-grid.

The first thing she did was check her email.

Having not logged in for a month, her inbox was overflowing.

One email was from the Ling Si school administration, surprisingly inviting her to film the promotional video for Ling Si University’s Spring semester, scheduled for two days from now, requesting a prompt reply.

Ziye felt only astonishment. She knew nothing about filming before this. In her view, filming was for celebrities. She had only just started at the university; why would they invite her?

That realm felt impossibly distant to her!

She flagged the email for later and checked the rest. One was from the Ex-Bent twins, stating they were heading to a sub-planet of the Military Mecha University for combat training and wouldn't return for two months.

Ziye checked the date and replied with a "Good luck with that" message.

Another email was from Blackbeard, asking her to return to Cole for a visit when she had time. The robot company was established, using her online shop name, calling it 'Sprout Group,' and designating her as the legal representative.

The attachment included a month’s revenue report and an analysis of each robot’s advantages and flaws. Ziye wasn't interested in the spreadsheets, so she only looked at the final total and the sales figures for each model, downloading the advantages and disadvantages to study improvements.

Blackbeard also mentioned he was preparing to build a factory for self-production and sales.

Ziye felt genuinely happy reading this.

Blackbeard was a business whiz; combined with Red Hair, they could surely carve out an empire on Cole. As for his past embezzlement issues, she felt that after spending so long on the Silver Talisman, Blackbeard wouldn't engage in such activities again. For one, he had lost the motivation to do so, and second, she knew Blackbeard genuinely viewed her as a daughter and considered his companions on Silver Talisman as family.

Speaking of Blackbeard, she couldn't help but think of Red Hair. After a month apart, she should at least send word that she was safe.

She initiated a Supra-Comm connection, and only a few seconds later, Blackbeard called her back. Thinking Red Hair was with him, she answered and asked, "Are you and Red Hair together?"

Blackbeard's expression shifted, and he asked in a hoarse voice, "She isn't with you?"
