Zi Ye's carefully constructed "poker face" nearly cracked at his words. She desperately fought the urge to twitch, maintaining her impassive expression resolutely.

An Junlie's statement surprised not only Aikes but also Ditar.

They had kidnapped an acquaintance?

What a coincidence!

An Junlie stared at Zi Ye, and Zi Ye stared back, her eyes wide. Compared to the desperate and gentle man she knew during her time on Yinfu Star, the man before her, clad in hard, stiff military boots, appeared formidable and powerful, exuding a much stronger sense of pressure. He was no longer her guardian, nor an alien; he was now An Junlie, the Commander of the Angel Legion.

A man with an iron will and immense strength, a legend across the galaxies.

Zi Ye had imagined many scenarios for their reunion, believing she could remain sufficiently composed upon seeing him again. Yet, the moment her eyes met his, her heart couldn't help but race, and her palms grew sweaty.

An Junlie of Yinfu Star, An Junlie of the Angel Legion—as these two identities merged, she suddenly felt a wave of confusion. Was this the person she once knew? The one who still owed her two hundred thousand? He felt so familiar, yet so alien that she couldn't utter a single word!

Zi Ye’s outward “poker face” was pushed to its absolute limit, watching him with an expression of utter innocence, "I was always a girl."

Her voice sounded slightly off, too. Could she not be the brat? An Junlie scrutinized the girl's "bewildered" face, searching for any trace of resemblance to the brat. However, he could find absolutely nothing in common.

The person before him had skin that was crystal clear and delicate, like a peeled egg, flawless, without even a mole. He recalled the brat’s face—"his" face was also quite clean, but certainly not with skin this fine, and "he" lacked any distinguishing marks.

As for facial features? This was the first time An Junlie had studied a woman's face so closely. The brat and the person before him shared a striking resemblance in their features, right down to the fleeting cunning in their eyes when they blinked.

The only difference was the hair.

The person before him wore a hat, with two strands of hair hanging down past her ears, clipped with light-colored barrettes, lending a feminine softness. But the brat’s hair stood stiffly on end; An Junlie hadn't even forgotten the texture.

Recalling that brat who had clung to Yinfu Star, refusing to leave, An Junlie couldn't help but ask again, "Do you have an older or younger brother?"

Zi Ye answered truthfully, "I have no older brother, nor a younger brother."

The disappointment on An Junlie’s face was impossible to conceal. He had hoped to find something more connecting her to the brat, but when he wanted to ask further, he realized he knew nothing about the brat—not even who his family members were, the only thing he remembered was that "he" grew up on Feilu Star.

It was truly disheartening.

Then, it struck him: even if this little girl was the brat's relative, she wouldn't willingly disclose to a stranger that a family member was an S-class prisoner.

An Junlie processed this, feeling slightly better. He had not forgotten the true purpose of his arrival on Kira Star.

A trip to Siatu had been scheduled for June, postponed until now because of his prolonged absence. But as the journey began today, it was clear it was about far more than just a vacation.

When he fell onto Yinfu Star, the people there had rescued and accepted him; their efforts were largely responsible for his successful departure. An Junlie was a grateful man; he remembered the kindness of the Yinfu Star people, and he especially remembered Zi Ye’s kindness to him.

The first thing he did upon returning to the Angel Legion was arrange to bring the brat out.

Therefore, he ordered the Legion to take an aircraft carrier out for an excursion. The carrier, exceeding 11,925,000m³ in volume, was a moving castle in space, instantly drawing the gaze of major star sectors.

An aircraft carrier was a strategic weapon signifying a legion's existence. Currently, besides the Interstellar Federation, the Kirk Clan, and the Fia Clan, only the Huaxia Legion and the Angel Legion possessed the capability to manufacture them.

The usually low-profile Angel Legion had suddenly become so ostentatious, sparking widespread discussion across the galaxy. Wherever it went, it was surrounded, and the Interstellar Federation grew extremely wary, fearing An Junlie might suddenly activate the cannon turret base, rendering any number of space stations insufficient for the bombardment.

It should be noted that due to its immense size, the aircraft carrier could not enter a space station. When it hovered outside, the entire Interstellar Federation was alerted, and major clan legions flocked to observe.

While all eyes were fixed on the carrier, An Junlie covertly amassed significant personnel and resources near Siatu. This included three super freighters disguised under the name of an interstellar logistics company, three industrial vessels flying the banner of minor legions, ten smuggling ships, and thirty stealth frigates.

All of this was to clear the interstellar routes leading to Yinfu Star.

Since this was Interstellar Federation territory, An Junlie proceeded with extreme caution, terrified of any leak. This was an incredibly dangerous undertaking; if discovered, not only would An Junlie be in deep trouble, but the Angel Legion would become the target of universal scorn.

He spent an entire morning worrying about this, only for the Aikes-Bent twins to jump out with their mech dance on Kira Star, diverting everyone’s attention once more.

He specifically deployed his PR team. Ostensibly, they were to suppress news of the mech dance, but in reality, they promoted it subtly, making the stir even greater. While everyone was busy dissecting the Angel Legion's mech dance, all his assets and manpower successfully deployed—it had been too smooth!

An Junlie was grateful for the twins' antics, but even more grateful that he had encountered a girl here so strikingly similar to the brat. He firmly believed this was fate's arrangement.

Soon, he would clear the interstellar passage and bring the brat out. As for the girl before him, he would care for her until she could reunite with the brat. He was certain the brat and this girl shared a connection, very possibly being fraternal twins.

An Junlie softened his tone, "I am An Junlie, Commander of the Angel Legion. What is your name?"

Zi Ye suppressed the urge to flinch and calmly replied, "Meng Yaya."

An Junlie reached out and gently stroked her head, murmuring, "Meng Yaya, there was someone I knew who looked a lot like you. 'His' name was Zi Ye. If you ever see him, you must tell me."

Zi Ye managed a dry laugh, "The world is vast; it's not strange to meet people who look alike, but the chance of running into him is quite slim. You travel around more often than I do, so you have a greater chance of meeting him."

An Junlie conceded the point, "Are you from around here?"

Zi Ye nodded.

An Junlie smiled, "You're friends with Aikes-Bent, right? You should come visit our Legion often."

Zi Ye agreed without hesitation, "Okay."

Aikes-Bent finally finished comforting Ditar. Seeing An Junlie treating a little girl with such familiarity, they felt both surprised and eager to introduce her around, so they approached and pulled Zi Ye, "Great! Come have fun with us."

Ditar followed behind, "You two brats, don't bully the young lady!"

Hearing the word 'brat,' An Junlie couldn't help but smile wryly.

He hoped that brat was doing well on Yinfu Star.

Privately, he sent a super-message to Aikes-Bent, instructing the pair to take good care of Sister Meng Yaya, and absolutely to get her contact information. If Meng Yaya needed anything, she was to tell him directly, and he would personally take responsibility.

Zi Ye followed Aikes-Bent onto the frigate. An Junlie also boarded and sat directly in front of her, continuing to examine her closely. She only felt a wave of guilt.

She hadn't lied, but her refusal to acknowledge him while he sat right there was a feeling heavier than any falsehood. She tightly clutched the silver communicator in her hand, daring not to move.

The moment she heard An Junlie's voice, she had secretly removed the super-comm from her wrist. What mindset had driven her at that instant, she could no longer recall.

She had also stuffed Little Sprout into her bag, which was rumbling restlessly inside, jostling about. Zi Ye genuinely feared it might accidentally break free from the confines of the bag and fly out.

Seeing her sitting bolt upright, the twins couldn't help but laugh, "Don't be so stiff; it was much better just now. We'll take you out."

They still spoke half sentences each. In the past, Zi Ye would have found this annoying, but now it sounded like music. Pulled along by the two, she fled in disarray.

The twins, absolved of blame by An Junlie and excited by his message of patronage, were like chattering birds, whisking her away to the bridge to introduce her to the Angel Legion. They said, "We planned to go to Siatu to watch the meteor shower first, then to Baiyu Star for the ice crystals, and finally end up at Kira for the sea of flowers. We messed up the schedule. They had to come find us halfway. We're going to Siatu tomorrow; you should come with us?"

Zi Ye had come to the captain's cabin intending to check the warp energy requirements of the frigate. Constrained by their presence and An Junlie's gaze following her, she found it impossible to focus her mind. She decided to simply stop thinking and comply with their suggestion: "Okay."

The frigate ascended into space and approached the aircraft carrier. Aikes-Bent pointed toward the moving-castle carrier ahead with evident pride, "Meng Yaya, look! That's the legendary aircraft carrier! You haven't seen one before, have you?"

Zi Ye’s mouth had already fallen open into an 'O' shape.

The Wangu!

This was the Wangu Aircraft Carrier!

The Wangu was one of the oldest aircraft carriers in the galaxy, and historically, the largest. Whether in the past or present, this massive vessel was built for territorial expansion—piloting it was akin to commanding a mobile city! Viewed from a distance, the Angel Legion’s dark gold hue wasn't flashy, but it possessed a savage grandeur that was hard to look at directly.

This was Zi Ye’s first encounter with the legendary carrier; her eyes were fixed on it.

The Wangu—this was something she hadn't even dared to dream about before. It was too massive, too legendary; it was practically a myth.

And now, this mythical mothership was right before her eyes.

Zi Ye strained her eyes, desperately determined not to miss a single second...RS
