"My God, Sister Fuya. Don't you know how dangerous those guys from the Old Covenant are? Aren't you afraid your Yafik Kingdom will be swallowed whole by him in one gulp?" Jin shook her head vigorously. "If you truly need an assistant, I can mobilize everyone in the Broken Hook Group under my command to help you, but absolutely do not get involved with that man."

Fuya Ming gently patted Jin's head, sighing, "You can only help me against the Exorcist Knights. To openly assist the Yafik Kingdom, at least up to this point, I can only cooperate with him."

"Why?" Jin scrambled up, kneeling on her seat, hands on her hips, and declared indignantly, "Besides helping you deal with the Exorcist Knights, I can do much more for you."

With a soft sigh, Fuya Ming gave a wry smile, "Do you want the Star Alliance's 'Council of the Capable' and 'Council of Adjudication' to discover you are helping me train the kingdom's soldiers?"

Silence fell. Jin and the other superhumans from the Broken Hook Group beside her fell silent simultaneously.

Her long phoenix eyes narrowed into a slit, Fuya Ming lightly tapped the armrest of the sofa and said coolly, "For now, at least, cooperating with him seems quite beneficial. According to him, the civilization he belongs to has just mastered interstellar navigation. Their technological level isn't very high, which might explain why he has killed so many people."

"Star Alliance historians have proven that large-scale slaughter only occurs in the very early stages of a civilization's development. Once a civilization reaches a level of two stars or higher, casualties from war decrease exponentially. The higher the civilization index, the lower the war casualties become. Conversely, the greater the casualties from war, the lower the civilization index. Xie Chengu has directly and indirectly killed over a million people; this proves that their civilization level is—"

Fuya Ming stated confidently, "Not high! Based on my understanding, low-level civilizations, especially those just achieving interstellar capability, naturally harbor both a defensive suspicion and a contradictory longing towards advanced civilizations, those so-called extraterrestrial entities. Therefore, His Excellency Xie Chengu will be an excellent ally for me."

Smiling, she patted Jin's head, gently using her fingers to smooth down Jin’s thick, glossy hair. Fuya Ming chuckled, "Jin, you have special abilities, and I have my intuition. My intuition tells me that His Excellency Xie Chengu is a reliable person. Of course, I'm not saying he's a kind person, but he is reliable. As long as I don't actively try to calculate against him, he won't do anything to harm our friendship."

"But I don't trust him!" Jin glared fiercely at Fuya Ming. "A man who can be spat on and not get angry is either a pervert or terrifying."

"Perhaps!" Fuya Ming crossed her arms, revealing a faint smile. "Maybe so? But I choose to trust him."

Jin frowned, a strange light flashing in her eyes, her small hands clenched tightly into fists. Silence descended upon the cabin. Gu Xiechen, who was adhering to the top of the cabin, sighed in frustration. Why didn't these two women say anything more useful? At the moment, Fuya Ming's attitude towards him seemed decent, but this little woman named Jin...

Glancing through the viewport at Jin’s flat backside, Gu Xiechen shook his head helplessly. "This little girl, if I were to spank her backside, I’m afraid my hand would hurt."

The shuttle continued to fly forward, but its altitude gradually decreased until it was skimming just above the treetops of the mountain range. Gradually, Gu Xiechen sensed a strange magnetic field emanating from the surrounding air. This field caused subtle distortions in the space around them. When light entered this area, it was refracted by the warped space to other locations. In other words, any optical instrument or scanner in this mountainous region would lose its normal function.

The shuttle sped forward through a narrow channel within the magnetic field. After flying for about three minutes, two towering mountains, nearly ten thousand meters high, suddenly materialized from the empty air ahead, their rugged peaks facing each other, with a narrow, pitch-black fissure between them. Thousands of metal turrets were densely embedded on both peaks, bristling with countless high-energy cannons. While the shuttle was still nearly a hundred kilometers from the peaks, at least half of the high-energy cannons on the turrets simultaneously locked onto it.

In the cabin, a faint gleam flashed on the vambrace on Fuya Mo's left arm. She gently pushed her palm forward, and the high-energy cannons that had just emerged on the peaks retracted in perfect unison. The shuttle quickly plunged into the gap between the two mountains, finally entering a massive metal gate a hundred meters high, forged from thick alloys.

The space near this metal gate was also distorted by the magnetic field. From the outside, it appeared as nothing more than a sheer, dark mountainside, but inside, it was completely transparent. Several ground crew members clad in white robes waved signal wands, directing the shuttle to land slowly. A few stooped old men stood trembling nearby.

"This is the core national laboratory of the Yafik Kingdom?" Jin exclaimed, nodding in amazement. Just judging by the sheer scale of the massive landing field within this gateway, the importance of this laboratory was evident.

"One of the only two forces in the Yafik Kingdom with any real combat capability is permanently stationed here," Fuya Ming explained softly as she stepped out of the shuttle. "Of course, as you know, this army is considered elite within the Yafik Kingdom, but compared to foreign armies, they are far, far behind."

Gu Xiechen followed closely beside Fuya Ming, carefully ensuring no one touched his body.

Every word of Fuya Ming's explanation to Jin entered his ears without omission.

"This laboratory is divided into one hundred and seventy-two sub-laboratories, the crystallization of tens of thousands of years of gradual construction by the Yafik Kingdom. Its underground structure extends thirty-five levels, with the largest single floor covering forty-five standard square li. The research staff here numbers two hundred and seventy thousand, and logistics and security personnel are three times the number of researchers. To be precise, this place is the most densely populated and vital city in the Yafik Kingdom; we call it 'The Light of Science'!"

Jin looked with envy at the busy Yafik people bustling around. "Heavens, such a massive core laboratory! My old father dreams of having a laboratory of his own. But our ability group members, they are good at everything else, but ask them to quietly conduct titration experiments? Well, can you imagine Da Jin and Xiao Jin meticulously performing a titration experiment?"

Da Jin and Xiao Jin, three meters tall with three-meter waists, let out honest chuckles and vigorously rubbed their enormous palms together.

Fuya Mo took Jin's hand and declared generously, "If needed in the future, the research achievements of the Yafik Kingdom can be unconditionally opened to the Broken Hook Ability Group. I cannot establish an official cooperative relationship with you, but we are good friends, and we can become secret allies!"

Jin smiled. Gu Xiechen, standing nearby, nodded secretly. This Fuya Ming had impressive political acumen. Opening all of the Yafik Kingdom's research results to the Broken Hook Ability Group? This was excellent; the Broken Hook Ability Group now had one foot already on her chariot. Coupled with her personal relationship with Jin, once Jin took over command of the Ability Group, the entire group might immediately become the Yafik Kingdom's possession.

The Ability Group currently held the status of a pirate organization, which was why Fuya Ming dared not allow the Yafik Kingdom to be publicly associated with them. But once Jin became the leader and managed to reorganize and integrate the group—even just absorbing half of the Ability Group's strength—the Yafik Kingdom's overall national power would leap to a new height. Consider that the Broken Hook Ability Group, confident enough to confront the Exorcist Knights, could not be weak.

The Exorcist Knights commanded over ten thousand powerful superhumans.

Looking admiringly at the eloquent Fuya Ming, Gu Xiechen nodded internally. This woman was truly remarkable. In the parlance of the Earth Federation's Gu Hua nation, she was a master administrator.

"Bah! Why did I think of that?" Gu Xiechen twisted his mouth and lightly slapped his own cheek. "But she is very capable!"

"Pure appreciation," Gu Xiechen murmured, following Fuya Ming as she led him deep into the laboratory complex.

In a gigantic laboratory spanning nearly one square kilometer, an ultra-large comprehensive analyzer occupied three-quarters of the space. Thick pipelines extended from the analyzer, connecting hundreds of sub-control stations within the lab. Numerous Yafik researchers, clad in white coats, were busy working at the individual control stations.

A bald old man leading the way coughed lightly, interrupting the conversation between Fuya Ming and Jin. He pointed a trembling finger at the comprehensive analyzer. "Your Majesty, we apologize. We are currently performing a comprehensive analysis on a rare metal refined from an extra-dimensional space these past two days. So, the analysis of the samples you sent can proceed now."

Fuya Ming's expression twitched, and she smiled kindly at the old man. "Very well, Director. There's no rush for the analysis of those samples."

The bald director mumbled indistinctly, "Oh, no rush? He hesitated, looking at Fuya Mo, "This time we found three previously undiscovered precious metals from the extra-dimensional space. If you aren't in a hurry, could you possibly wait another half a month until we complete the analysis of those results before analyzing the other samples?"

Silence. Gu Xiechen, sitting aside, almost burst out laughing. It seemed that no matter where or in what nation, these research types were always single-minded! Looking at this small, bald old man, he was reminded of his subordinates on Earth—were they doing well now? He needed to settle things here quickly and find a way back!
