"Not bad, truly not bad. Though it still falls short of my Star Lord Palace back in the day. For a loose immortal in the mortal realm to possess such a dwelling is truly rare!" Hanba covered her small mouth and chuckled, "Heh heh, I wonder where the owner of this cave abode has gone. If he ascended to the Immortal Realm, perhaps this old lady can offer him some favor in the future! Hee hee! Taking someone else's things feels a bit shameful!"
Kan Hua rolled his eyes. You feel shame now?
"Huo huo huo huo!" Accompanied by a sharp burst of laughter, a ball of crimson Zombie God Flame rolled off Hanba's body. The extreme heat of this flame was one thing; what was hidden within the flames was an irresistible seductive power that could confuse the mind, carrying with it a chilling, sinister, and evil miasma of corpse poison. Faint wisps of black light flickered around the edges of the flame, energies so bizarre and terrifying that even Kan Hua couldn't recognize them. However, the moment this flame appeared, Kan Hua instinctively let out a soft thud as he collapsed to the ground, his limbs weak and his muscles numb, utterly incapable of standing.
This was an instinct deeply ingrained in the lineage of the Zombie race. It wasn't just Kan Hua; even the Corpse Emperor, encountering the malevolent aura within this flame, would only collapse meekly.
Even though Hanba's current power level was only at the peak of the Golden Core stage, the very source of her power was terrifying. Compared to Hanba, the Corpse Emperor, despite reaching the Void Realm, was merely a python mimicking a wolf; conversely, no matter how weak Hanba appeared, she was still a pure-blooded Divine Dragon. The fundamental disparity between them was too vast, so immense that sheer strength could not bridge the gap.
"Hee hee, brace yourself!"
With a sharp giggle, Hanba spat a ball of crimson lightning, the size of a large basket, from her palm. She spun rapidly in place a few times, then violently leaned forward, pouring all her might into hurling the lightning toward the cave abode ahead.
"Heh, I don't care what ancient restrictions you have; before my Corpse God Immortal Slaying Thunder..."
"Uh oh, game over!"
Hanba, in the midst of her triumphant laughter, suddenly choked like a hen whose neck was grasped, letting out a few startled squawks. Her face froze as she watched the Corpse God Immortal Slaying Thunder blast into the cave abode completely unimpeded! The Corpse God Immortal Slaying Thunder was a formidable divine ability that Hanba wielded while dominating the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths in ancient times. In her prime, one blast could obliterate an ordinary Grand Unity Golden Immortal. Furthermore, it specialized in corrupting flying swords, magical treasures, and various formations and restrictions. Against the Corpse God Immortal Slaying Thunder, ninety-nine percent of formations and restrictions in the world were shattered upon impact.
Countless fine threads of light whistled out from the surrounding void, merging into the Immortal Slaying Thunder. Gradually, the volume of the lightning ball swelled to the size of a large hamper.
Under the stunned gazes of Hanba and Kan Hua, the lightning struck the hundred-zhang-tall crimson palace directly ahead without any resistance. Violent currents of thunderous lightning, corpse energy, and corpse fire swept outwards. Amidst wails and ghostly cries, the massive palace shimmered briefly with a gentle rosy glow, which was effortlessly shattered by the Immortal Slaying Thunder. The corpse fire enveloped the structure, and in the span of a mere finger-snap, the entire palace was reduced to ash. With a deafening boom, a small mushroom cloud rose into the sky. The crimson palace before them was incinerated, dozens of surrounding palaces were pulverized, and a bottomless chasm, a hundred zhang deep, appeared in the earth.
"Are you trying to destroy this entire cave abode?" Kan Hua stared blankly at Hanba.
"Why? Why would such a grand abode have no mountain-guarding restrictions?" Hanba drooped her pretty face, grumbling with concern, "Such a huge pit—this unsightly abode will take so much effort to repair! Sigh, why are there no mountain-guarding restrictions? Why?"
Suddenly, thundering hoofbeats echoed all around. Nearly a thousand stout men, clad in white robes over tarnished metal cuirasses, wielding long spears and greatswords, charged forth, riding nimble, dragon-like steeds equipped with single horns.
Immediately after, more white-robed knights surged out from behind palaces in all directions. They were all identically dressed. By Kan Hua's estimation, the armor and weapons they carried were museum-worthy relics, guaranteed to be the absolute treasures of any collection. Looking at the mottled armor, Kan Hua thought, If this gear isn't at least ten thousand years old, I'll dig out my own eyes!
"Demon Exterminating Knights, charge!" A stout elder wearing a horned helmet and wielding a three-meter-long twin-hooked spear roared with manic excitement, "My children, advance! For Yafik!"
"Hula! For Yafik, charge!"
Nearly ten thousand fervent knights roared wildly like rolling thunder. They raised their ancient weapons and charged toward them with an unstoppable momentum.
Kan Hua quickly scanned the strength of these individuals and felt a jolt of alarm.
The weakest of these knights possessed the strength of the peak Saturn level, while slightly stronger ones showed power at the high-end Mars level. As for the elder leading the charge and the dozens of middle-aged men around him, the strange energy fluctuations radiating from their bodies had actually reached or even surpassed the peak Mercury level.
"Ancestor..." Kan Hua felt a chill course down his spine. This so-called Demon Exterminating Knights were too strong, too terrifying!
Hanba let out a soft hum, tossing her proud head back. Her slender body swayed gently, and with a flirtatious smile, she blew a seductive glance toward the charging knights.
"Hee hee, am I beautiful?"
A deluge of captivating power washed over the mounts of the knights.
These steeds, resembling horses but bearing a single horn on their heads, could not withstand Hanba’s intentional release of charm. A chorus of sharp screams erupted as the horned mounts leaped wildly, thrusting their sharp horns toward any moving object nearby.
These horns were exceedingly sharp, their hardness comparable to high-grade alloys. The two-foot-long horns stabbed and gored wildly in every direction, catching the unprepared knights entirely off guard. They never imagined their mounts would turn on them. Ninety-nine point nine percent of the knights were thrown off their mounts in disarray, only to be skewered into the air by countless sharp points. Blood splattered, and the thick scent of gore spread as nearly a thousand knights were fatally impaled by their own mounts in that instant. The grizzled elder and the dozen men beside him cried out in alarm. They hastily leaped into the air and rushed angrily toward Kan Hua and Hanba.
The elder swung his twin-hooked spear, over three meters long, creating a piercing gale, and lunged forward, roaring, "Ancient demons, return to where you belong!"
Kan Hua shouted sharply, "Nonsense! Your ancestor is the ancient demon! She's barely thirty-eight years old, how is that ancient?"
Mustering all his strength, a faint silver light suddenly flared around Kan Hua's right fist. His right fist, looking as if cast from pure silver, shot out to meet the long spear head-on.
"Heh heh heh! My little darlings, come out! What an interesting divine ability!"
Hanba suddenly chuckled softly. She reached over and squeezed Kan Hua's shoulder firmly.
With a deafening crash, the twin-hooked spear was smashed into two pieces by Kan Hua's punch. The grizzled elder stumbled backward, while Kan Hua shrieked and retreated, clutching his hand. He felt his fist swell, go numb, throb, and ache; it felt as if the hand no longer belonged to him.
The squeeze Hanba delivered to Kan Hua's shoulder caused a flash of bloody light to burst from Kan Hua’s brow, and suddenly, countless streams of blood light sprayed out from around him.
Green-haired zombies, white-haired zombies, grey-haired zombies, and black-haired zombies, emanating a chilling corpse energy, swarmed out of the blood light. These zombies, devoid of will or consciousness, possessing only iron-clad bones and the instinct to kill, shrieked as they charged into the chaotic mass of knights.
Hanba casually waved her hand, attaching countless ultra-fine streams of Corpse God Flame to the claws of these zombies, instantly escalating their lethality to a terrifying degree.
"Whoa! Zombies? So many zombies?" Kan Hua wailed almost hysterically, "Heavens, I summoned so many beauties, why is my manifested domain still this ghostly sight?"
Hanba clapped her hands firmly, tilting her head with a proud smile, "Because this old lady likes them! Hee hee, aren't these little darlings adorable?"
The low roars of the zombies echoed to the heavens. Kan Hua must have wasted countless cubic meters of Zakura Crystals over the years, for the zombies emerged as if they were endless. In the span of a few exchanges, hundreds of thousands of zombies of varying strengths drowned the shrieking, terrified Demon Exterminating Knights.
Nodding with satisfaction, Hanba smiled at the dumbfounded grizzled elder, "This place now belongs to this old lady!"
The grizzled elder roared in fury. Clutching the two broken halves of his spear, he mustered all his power and lunged toward Hanba.
Hanba's body flickered, floated, and shifted like a phantom, gracefully appearing beside the elder. She lightly slapped the back of the elder's heart with her right palm, and a ball of crimson corpse fire erupted with a boom toward the sky. The elder was instantly incinerated into ash.
Wisps of greyish-white corpse energy spewed out from the elder's ashes, which Hanba happily sucked into her mouth.
"I told you, this cave abode belongs to this old lady! Hee hee, you all have decent strength? This old lady intends to refine all of you into Corpse Servants!"
Her long hair streaming behind her, Hanba ascended into the air with sharp laughter, transforming into dozens of afterimages that plunged into the midst of the knights who were desperately fending off the zombie onslaught.
The monstrous flames of the peerless Demoness raged skyward, and despairing screams erupted everywhere.
Watching Hanba completely soaked in blood, Kan Hua sighed with intoxicated admiration, "Too beautiful. Sigh, a perfect woman!^^^" He let out a cry to the heavens and scrambled clumsily toward Hanba.
"Ancestor, let your disciple handle such trivial matters; you should rest!"
His fawning cry drowned out the roars of the zombies. Kan Hua’s expression at that moment strongly resembled those eunuchs who had just been castrated years ago.
Mist and corpse energy submerged the entire abode.
Soon, not a single living soul remained within the cave abode.
