Ten kilometers away, atop a small hill in an abandoned local farmhouse storage room, Gu Xiechen squinted at the bewildered Essen Haomor. As the five-colored airflow within Gu Yanchen's five viscera grew stronger, his five senses and six perceptions sharpened increasingly. Now, by merely focusing his attention on his eyes, his naked sight could span dozens of kilometers; at a mere ten kilometers, he could even clearly see the large beads of sweat on Essen Haomor's face.

Hohm, lean and tense like a cheetah, stood motionless beside Gu Xiechen, also squinting at Essen Haomor in the distance. Hohm’s eyes were a strange, deep purple, his two pupils transparent and clear as if carved from crystal. Under a microscope, one could see that the very tissue structure of Hohm’s eyeballs had undergone subtle mutations; his eyes had become a composite of countless tiny, multi-faceted crystals. This complex structure allowed him to see farther and clearer than Gu Xiechen with effortless ease.

As an elder of the Hell's Angels mercenary group, and one of the former main battle commanders of that same group, Hohm had naturally also acquired a high-grade Krysto crystal sphere.

After successfully fusing the Krysto crystal sphere under the protection of Xin Jia, Hohm's physical structure underwent a marvelous transformation, and he gained an extraordinarily perverse 'Domain'.

At this moment, Hohm stared at Essen Haomor with his naked eyes, but within his Sea of Consciousness, a holographic, stereoscopic three-dimensional map covering a radius of fifteen kilometers clearly fed back every slight movement in the surroundings. Fifteen kilometers was the maximum range Hohm’s current spiritual power could cover. Within this range, even the slightest twitch of an ant’s antenna could not escape Hohm’s gaze.

He clearly saw three heavy patrol boats belonging to the Holy See rushing over, escorted by a large number of armored vehicles. Hohm immediately reported, “Boss, the Vatican’s priests are here!”

“Mm!” Gu Xiechen blinked, adjusting his gaze back to a normal level. He smiled at Hohm, “Today, you are the main event. Let me see your Domain in action!”

Hohm smiled faintly, waved his hand, and a flash of pale black metallic luster flickered across his palm. Hohm muttered in a low voice, “Chou Jing 30mm; barrel length, 2.5 meters; initial muzzle velocity, six thousand meters per second; maximum rate of fire, three rounds per second; ammunition used, high-power armor-piercing rounds!”

As Hohm muttered, an extra-large caliber sniper rifle (cannon) nearly three meters long, with smooth lines and a deep cyan-black finish, materialized in his hands. Holding the sniper rifle with both hands, Hohm closed his eyes. Everything within the fifteen-kilometer radius was clearly reflected in Hohm’s mind, without the slightest omission.

The three heavy patrol boats charged into the fray. Dozens of small-caliber, high-energy rapid-fire cannons mounted on the boats unleashed a torrent of fire across the entire battlefield. Over a hundred fierce warriors dressed in digital camouflage suffered heavy casualties, and the remaining few dozen fled in disarray toward the distance. The Minotaurs and Werewolves charged forward desperately, while the three Dark Mages, sensing the turn of events, had already dissolved into black smoke and fled.

A large contingent of Holy See elites poured out from the patrol boats and armored vehicles, surging like a tide toward the dark creatures who dared to assault the Cardinal Archbishop at the very doorstep of the Holy See.

After a brief exchange of fire, the Minotaurs and Werewolves, who had been besieged by over a dozen Cardinal Archbishops, were shattered into dust. Essen Haomor’s mouth twitched in pain; he secretly blamed his colleagues for not arriving a few minutes sooner. If they had arrived earlier, he could have saved at least one Level Nine Divine Art Scroll—a Level Nine scroll personally crafted by Gulit the First, his ultimate life-saving trump card.

However, seeing two Cardinal Archbishops robed in gold standing present, Essen Haomor dared not utter a single complaint. He cautiously dispersed the protective divine arts surrounding his body, respectfully approached the two Cardinal Archbishops, and drew a cross over his chest with a beaming smile: “Lord God, thank heavens you esteemed lords arrived in time, otherwise…”

Hohm suddenly raised the sniper rifle in his hands. He casually pulled the trigger, and three 30mm high-power armor-piercing rounds shot soundlessly from the barrel. The three rounds exited the muzzle almost touching one another; any conventional sniper rifle, save for one forged with the power of the Domain like Hohm’s, would have surely exploded.

Hohm’s Domain covered a space of fifteen kilometers. The three sniper rounds sliced through the air silently, traversing the darkness like phantoms, or perhaps like spring cherry blossoms drifting from the branches—devoid of any smell of gunpowder, bearing no resemblance to instruments of death, but instead carrying a faint elegance, like heavenly maidens dancing in the void.

The three bullets, fired almost simultaneously, gracefully altered their trajectories within Hohm’s Domain. One shot straight ahead, one described a massive arc, and the third traced a huge '8' pattern in the air. Furthermore, the speed of the bullets increased relentlessly. Their initial muzzle velocity was only six thousand meters per second, but in just an instant, the speed of the three projectiles escalated to the terrifying velocity of one hundred and eight thousand meters per second.

Bang! A round struck Archbishop Essen Haomor through his right knee from the side. The massive kinetic energy contained within the ultra-large caliber bullet pulverized one of the Bishop’s legs.

The dozen or so Holy See Knights standing beside Archbishop Essen Haomor simultaneously cried out in agony. The ground where they stood was slightly lower than the Bishop’s position. This incredibly devastating round, after shattering the Bishop’s leg, continued its trajectory, piercing through their waists and slicing their bodies clean in half.

Bang! The upper body of a Bishop standing near a Cardinal Archbishop suddenly exploded, his entire form blown into pieces, spraying blood and minced flesh onto the Cardinal Archbishop beside him.

Bang! The armor of a high-ranking Holy Knight in pale gold plate suddenly flashed with a blinding white light. The protective formation built into the armor activated autonomously, raising a shield of holy light nearly a foot thick around the Knight. The light shield shattered the moment it appeared, as the absurdly powerful bullet ripped through the shield, pierced the Knight’s armor, and sent his body flying backward several hundred meters before crashing onto the ground. The Holy Knight spat out a stream of blood, stared blankly at the giant projectile lodged in his armor, rolled his eyes, and fainted.

Hohm sighed softly and shook his head toward Gu Xiechen, “Boss, I’m still not completely proficient with my Domain! That fellow’s turtle shell was too hard; I didn’t manage to kill him!”

“That’s enough!” Gu Xiechen smiled, his lips pursed. “We came here to provoke, not to kill. That’s sufficient!”

Snatching Hohm up, before the Holy See personnel could react, Gu Xiechen grabbed a handful of sand from the ground and threw it toward the sky. A yellow mist enveloped their bodies, and the two rapidly departed using Earth Evasion.
