Meanwhile, the handsome youth stood gripping his Asura battle saber, which coiled with surging killing intent. His expression was stern, cold light flashing from his eyes as he tightened his grip and brought the saber down in a crushing blow aimed right at the monstrosity.
Whoosh!
A hurricane of black light, resembling a spectral slash, rippled the void as it charged straight toward the Giant Rabbit Beast.
Faced with these potent maneuvers from two Divine Emperor powerhouses, the Giant Rabbit Beast had no choice but to halt its universe-devouring action. It roared, swiping a massive claw at the crimson divine dragon hurtling toward it.
Bang!
Before the crimson dragon could even close the distance, the claw struck, shattering its head, crushing its body into countless fragments of broken law-scriptures that scattered into the ether.
Simultaneously, the inky black slash from the other side, carrying immense, surging power, struck laterally.
The Giant Rabbit Beast flicked its paw, its razor-sharp tip meeting the black light-slash—a blow capable of cleaving a star—deflecting it effortlessly, as if with no exertion at all.
Yan Mo and the handsome man were greatly startled. They retreated rapidly, simultaneously unleashing their cosmic pressure to compress the Giant Rabbit Beast. The universe they conjured together possessed terrifying might; any ordinary peak Spirit God, once trapped within, would instantly disintegrate without any capacity to resist.
The Giant Rabbit Beast’s movement briefly stiffened. Under the combined force of these two Divine Emperors, its advance became arduous. Within this boundless universe they had crafted, Yan Mo and the other were like fish in water; reaching any location required merely a thought, and summoning gales, firestorms, lightning, meteorites, or black holes was a mere word away.
This was their created domain; all laws could be dictated at will.
At this moment, the bronze spacecraft held within the Giant Rabbit Beast's claw began to contract, wrinkling together like a sheet of paper about to be crushed into a ball.
The burly man inside knew things were dire. He moved instantly, shooting out through the fractured viewport. In a flash, he activated his own universe domain, interlocking it with the worlds of Yan Mo and the other, causing his power to surge exponentially. He, too, became perfectly at ease within it. In a single breath, he distanced himself several million kilometers from the Giant Rabbit Beast, gasping deeply to steady himself before flying over to Yan Mo and the handsome man. He spoke in a low voice, “We must combine forces and kill it now. Don't let this monster re-establish contact with the Ancient World.”
Hearing this, Yan Mo and the other turned to look at him, pausing in confusion. “You know what kind of monster this is?”
The burly man nodded seriously, his eyes fixed on the distant Giant Rabbit Beast. His dark pupils were filled with deep terror and apprehension. Beneath his sleeves, his fists clenched silently. “This is no time for talk. Once it’s dealt with, I will explain everything to you both.”
Though deeply curious, Yan Mo and his companion were Divine Emperors with immense self-control, recognizing that this was not the moment for dialogue. They immediately nodded. Yan Mo affirmed, “Unleash our ultimate killing moves and destroy it. Its hide and bones might even be enough to forge superior Dao Artifacts!”
A fleeting shadow of bitterness crossed the burly man’s lips before he nodded. “We will each take a route to surround it, using our universe domain pressure to lock down its movements!”
“Agreed!”
Yan Mo and the handsome man quickly calculated the strategy and assented. The three of them swiftly separated, splitting into three paths to encircle the Giant Rabbit Beast, deploying the world-force of their three distinct domains to bear down upon it.
Feeling the sudden increase in pressure, the Giant Rabbit Beast’s crimson eyes flared with an eerie, intensifying red light, as if ready to erupt into madness. Its claws sharpened further, gleaming with icy coldness, and it roared, charging directly toward Yan Mo in the east. By this time, the burly man had escaped the bronze spacecraft. The beast abandoned the ship, tearing the void with both claws, lunging toward Yan Mo.
Yan Mo’s expression grew grim. He rapidly swung his crimson spear, weaving patterns of law-scriptures that coalesced into a series of furious crimson dragons, hurling them at the Giant Rabbit Beast. However, each one was torn apart by a single claw swipe, destroyed with destructive momentum, proving utterly useless.
Yan Mo remained outwardly composed, as if expecting this. He suddenly shook his arm, wielding the crimson spear, and roared, “Die!”
At the tip of the spear, an image of Yin-Yang dual fish emerged, weaving into a circle. This circle rapidly expanded, resembling a massive rotating disc, which was driven down with crushing force toward the Giant Rabbit Beast while the spear guided it.
The Yin-Yang disc swelled to span thousands of kilometers, large enough to encompass the beast’s head. As it slammed down, it nearly enveloped its entire face.
The Giant Rabbit Beast threw back its head with a sky-shaking roar and raised a claw to shred it.
Rip!
The Yin-Yang pattern was swiftly torn apart. But behind it, Yan Mo, wielding the formidable crimson spear, stabbed downward with immense force, striking the beast’s thick arm and sinking deep into the sharp fur.
The Giant Rabbit Beast roared in fury and swung its massive limb, flinging Yan Mo far away. Though the initial puncture wound was small, as the fierce crimson spear was withdrawn, jets of blood erupted from the pores across a range of dozens of kilometers, staining its fur crimson, boiling the air, and scattering across the vast starry expanse.
Simultaneously, the other two—the burly man and the handsome youth—each with their divine weapons in hand, struck like tiny gnats, attacking the Giant Rabbit Beast’s front chest and rear back respectively.
Caught between attacks from the front and back, and hampered by its injured arm, the Giant Rabbit Beast could not evade in time. It was struck and stabbed in both locations, spurting two columns of blood that dyed half its body red.
Yan Mo and the others did not press the attack, knowing that any further offense would provoke a frenzied counter from the beast. They withdrew, standing proudly in the void, staring coldly at the colossal creature behaving like a cornered animal.
The Giant Rabbit Beast’s massive body trembled slightly, blood trickling from the three wounded spots. Facing the three Divine Emperors who had formed a triangle around it, its crimson eyes, full of defiance and anger, swept over them. Then, it suddenly lowered its head, gazing down at the star-strewn floor below, appearing to yield to the might of the trio.
Just as Yan Mo was preparing a sarcastic remark, the Giant Rabbit Beast’s shoulder twitched, and slowly, it lifted its head again. Its crimson eyes locked onto the three figures. It opened its gaping maw, revealing savage fangs, its expression twisting into something resembling pain. A faint, blood-colored aura rose from its skin, swirling around its body, sketching itself into a pale crimson formation diagram.
The moment this diagram appeared, it moved as if guided, converging toward its forehead, gathering at the brow's center—just below the existing crescent moon mark—forming a deep, blood-red fissure.
The burly man’s eyes narrowed in thought. Realization struck him suddenly, and his expression changed drastically. He yelled urgently, “Bad—!”
Before his warning finished, the deep blood-red fissure on the Giant Rabbit Beast’s brow pulsed slightly, then slowly peeled open, revealing within it a blood-colored eyeball!
As this eye opened halfway, the entire universe seemed to seize up, instantly freezing in place; even space and time were momentarily halted.
Yan Mo and the other two were instantly rendered motionless, the expressions on their faces perfectly preserved. The entire void was frozen solid.
The Giant Rabbit Beast breathed heavily, its chest rising and falling rapidly. Then, it stared at Yan Mo and began to walk toward him, step by heavy step. When it reached him, it raised its claw and grasped Yan Mo’s body. Yan Mo stood like an ice sculpture, utterly still, showing no sign of resistance.
The Giant Rabbit Beast opened its mouth, dropped Yan Mo inside, chewed a few times—accompanied by the sound of cracking bone—and then its throat contracted as it swallowed him whole.
A magnificent Divine Emperor, extinguished so inexplicably within the jaws of a monstrous rabbit, perhaps never knowing how he died.
After swallowing Yan Mo, the Giant Rabbit Beast’s breathing eased slightly. It straightened its chest, then moved toward the burly man beside it, repeating the process: tossing him into its mouth, chewing a few times, and gulping him down.
After consuming the burly man, the bleeding from the beast’s wounds instantly ceased, healing rapidly without even leaving a scar. Its movements became agile. With a slight flicker, it reached the handsome youth, snatched him up with one claw, tossed him into its great mouth, chewed briefly, and swallowed him in one gulp.
After devouring these three Divine Emperors, the half-open blood-eye on its forehead seemed to convey fatigue. It slowly closed. The frozen starry expanse around them rapidly returned to normal, followed by a tremendous roar. In the distance, the brilliant, twinkling starlight flared brightly, only to explode one after another.
Rumble!
The entire universe collapsed. Black holes materialized out of nowhere, accompanied by twisted spatial vortices and countless fragments of disintegrating planets—a scene magnificent and utterly colossal.
This grand spectacle lasted only a moment before swiftly fading away like smoke. The whole expanse of stars seemed to drift and vanish, revealing the spatial storm outside. The only remnants that did not dissipate were the three spacecraft left behind by Yan Mo and the others.
The Giant Rabbit Beast turned its gaze and immediately saw a figure lying motionless several million kilometers away, suspended within the spatial storm that could turn any spirit god pale. This figure was still unconscious, protected by a layer of pale-water-colored barrier that caused any spatial wind blade to veer far away, unwilling to approach.
The Giant Rabbit Beast reached out a massive claw and drew the three spacecraft in. The moment they floated closer, they shrunk exponentially, becoming too small for the naked eye to see by the time they settled in its grip, hidden amongst its fur.
It paid them no further mind, stepping directly before the unconscious figure and reaching out to grasp it. It held the small, sphere-like barrier in its paw, then tilted its head upward, staring intently at the sky for a moment before letting out a powerful, forceful roar.
Hooowl!
The sound wave of the roar was like thunder, shaking the surrounding spatial wind blades into trembling. A black channel spontaneously tore open, connecting to the Ancient World outside. Faint reflections of structures from that ancient realm could be seen at the edge of the opening.
The Giant Rabbit Beast moved, leaping up, and immediately plunged into the channel entrance, rushing out into the exterior world, abandoning this pocket of space.
