Before Ye Chen and the others, the platinum floor reflected the ceiling, revealing a vast room adorned with opulence and aristocratic luxury.

Kaba’s eyes glowed with a wolfish light, as if he had spotted a beautiful woman, as he surveyed the ornamental metalwork surrounding them. It was obvious that any metal within this Demon God Palace would be, at minimum, Divine-grade!

Ye Chen sensed that the oppressive weight of the world had significantly lessened now that they were inside the Demon God Palace. He swiftly raised his hand and opened the Fire Civilization Space, causing a massive black hole to materialize out of thin air. Ye Chen immediately commanded the eight metal automatons to carry the pure metal starship into the Fire Civilization Space.

The city within the Fire Civilization Space was the most expansive; this was a city left behind by the Venerable Bai Ya. Due to time constraints, Ye Chen had never managed to gauge the metal strength of this city, but based on estimation, it had to be at the Spirit level at the very least!

Upon seeing the eight pure metal automatons and the majestic starship, Bai Lan’s beautiful face was instantly etched with astonishment. With her sharp vision, she immediately recognized that these metals were rare and not the kind found on ordinary planets or soil.

“These, these…” Bai Lan pointed at the eight metal automatons, gasping, “Where did you get them all?”

“Keep them safe for me for now,” Ye Chen said without elaborating. He closed the Relic Space, glanced around, pondered for a moment, and made no move to touch anything. He walked directly to the door, pressed his ear against it, listening intently. There was no sound whatsoever. Checking the biological radar display, he confirmed there were no biological signatures outside.

However, Ye Chen was not complacent. Back inside the Demon God Palace, the other dark creatures could all activate their respective spatial folding bags. Generally, anyone going out hunting ensured they carried biological radar and anti-biological radar protective clothing as basic measures. Relying completely on biological radar, as they had in the previously encountered city of Prai, would only lead to a massive loss.

A massive loss was something one only needed to suffer once in a lifetime.

Ye Chen felt no curiosity and certainly no desire to experience it.

So, he slowly retreated a few steps, beckoned Kaba over, and whispered, “Go open the door.”

Kaba muttered something, but he knew such a mission, due to the implied danger, had to fall to him. He immediately beckoned the puppet behind him, nodded toward the door with his chin, and the puppet, understanding the command, walked toward the great door without any change in expression.

As the saying goes, orders are passed down the chain of command. Ye Chen and Kaba stood behind, maintaining vigilant expressions, closely monitoring the puppet’s actions. They watched as it reached out, grasped the bolt, and pulled the door open forcefully.

Beyond the threshold was a long corridor stretching into the distance. The walls of this passage emitted light, illuminating the space as brightly as day.

Kaba ordered the puppet to take the lead, and the puppet complied without resistance, walking ahead.

Ye Chen followed cautiously, keeping a distance of about thirty feet, proceeding slowly. After walking a short while, they found no traps in the corridor; the journey was uneventful. Soon, they exited the passage and arrived before a towering structure—a magnificent palace forged entirely from metal, resembling the grand hall of an ancient emperor.

Ye Chen took a closer look, focusing his gaze. He saw that the palace doors and windows were tightly shut, sealed completely. If they attempted to break in, setting aside whether Kaba’s strength was sufficient to breach the gates, the sheer, immense aura radiating from the structure alone made him hesitant to act rashly.

If concealed weapons like micro-super-magnetic laser cannons were installed on the palace façade, triggering the mechanism could lead to unimaginable consequences.

Just as Ye Chen and the others reached this imposing palace, two figures suddenly darted forward from around a corner ahead—a man and a woman, both clad in pale blue attire, with hair as black as ink. Their appearance was almost identical to humans, but their eyes were a seductive, wine-red hue.

“Spirit beings!” Kaba’s eyes narrowed.

Ye Chen remained composed, observing the pair who had suddenly appeared. He immediately noticed a monitoring device clipped to the left ear of the man, flashing with rainbow light—it looked like a biological detector.

With Ye Chen’s sharp intellect, he instantly grasped the situation. These two had likely detected his presence, leading to their sudden appearance. From the slight pause in their expressions upon seeing Kaba, he inferred that their detectors had failed to pick up Kaba or the puppet, because Kaba’s puppet was equipped with extremely high-end anti-detection and anti-radar instruments.

As for his own Pseudo-God Peak set, although it also included anti-detection and anti-radar measures, the fact that the opponents could approach them directly suggested their detection equipment was of an extremely high caliber.

“I didn’t expect three people…” The man on the left scanned Kaba and the other puppet with icy eyes, a faint light flickering in the depths of his pupils. He stared at Kaba for a long moment, then suddenly sneered, “I thought whoever managed to escape my detector’s sweep would be formidable. Turns out, it’s just a mere Pseudo-God who hasn’t even comprehended the laws of heaven and earth!”

Ye Chen felt the dense auras emanating from the two and, his expression cold, whispered, “Kill!”

Kaba had long been impatient. Upon hearing Ye Chen’s words, he immediately grinned menacingly, fixed his gaze on the man’s refined face, and lunged forward in a blur.

These two clearly had not anticipated that Ye Chen would strike without exchanging a single pleasantry—calling it utterly despicable and insidious. Moreover, they never expected three individuals who hadn't even grasped fundamental laws to dare initiate an attack against them.

After all, the difference between a Spirit being and a Pseudo-God was not slight; it was an insurmountable gulf!

“The scent of a human…” The alluring woman, with lips as vibrant as poison, fixed her soul-snatching gaze on Ye Chen, suddenly raising a hand and pointing. The surrounding space seemed to stiffen slightly.

“Spatial Domain!” At almost the exact same moment, Ye Chen activated his Imitation Cosmos Disc, and a powerful spatial domain expanded outward from his body, pushing back against the domain world of the alluring woman.

This woman was an Elementary Spirit being, and her initial domain world was still somewhat fragile. Under Ye Chen’s time domain, she immediately felt that maintaining it was becoming difficult.

The man’s gaze sharpened, and he swiftly activated his own domain, connecting it with the woman’s world domain, pushing against the spatial domain.

This man was also an Elementary Spirit being, specializing in the Law of Fire. His domain world was filled with violent flames. Combined with the woman’s verdant domain world, the two nourished each other, erupting with even more potent energy—like a raging fire sweeping across a grassland—and managed to prevent the immediate collapse against the pressure of the spatial domain.

It was worth noting that the Spatial Domain was a combination of the Laws of Time and Space, a dual-attribute domain fusion, whose oppressive force was ten times that of a single-attribute domain world!

After a brief stalemate, the world domains of the pair began to slowly recede under the pressure of the Spatial Domain, growing increasingly strained. The two were greatly alarmed; they had not expected this human, who hadn't even reached the Spirit level, to possess a Domain Artifact!

The cost of a single Domain Artifact was comparable to a hundred Divine Artifacts!

What was even more precious was that Ye Chen’s Domain Artifact, the Imitation Cosmos Disc, was a dual-attribute Domain Artifact! Its cost was tenfold that of a single-attribute one!

As Ye Chen unleashed the Spatial Domain, Kaba’s body was already moving like the wind. In a single stride, he arrived before the two, sneering as he launched a devastating punch.

Whoosh!

The very air was torn apart, and the void seemed to crack, revealing streaks of black fissures.

Consider that with Kaba’s power, nearing one hundred million units, even Ye Chen in Ant-Man mode could not match it. One could imagine the terror of his full-force strike!

The two didn't have time to react; their retinas couldn't even track Kaba’s speed. They were directly struck, their brains exploding. Before they could reform their physical bodies, Kaba followed up with hundreds more punches, shattering their entire forms into fine dust. From the residue, he retrieved two cores.

One was emerald green, the other fiery red. Both cores radiated a dense light, etched with countless fine lines, like slender threads.

After securing the cores, Kaba left behind a portion of the bodies and brought them before Ye Chen. Having lost the energy support of the cores, these residual parts lost all vitality and became immobile.

Ye Chen nodded slightly, summoned Little Black from the Rune Space, and commanded him to analyze the remaining flesh to capture any memory fragments and obtain information.

Not long after, Little Black returned with significant findings. He looked excitedly at Ye Chen and announced, “Boss, I’ve discovered something huge.”

“What is it?” Ye Chen frowned slightly.

Little Black reported, “Although the physical remains are incomplete and some memories are missing, the remaining fragments mention that these two individuals had obtained a small intelligent optical brain, similar to the steward of a certain structure within the Demon God Palace, and they knew some basic information about the palace.”

“This information pertains to those who enter the Demon God Palace.”

“Every outsider first entering the Demon God Palace will be directed to three trial grounds. The first is the ‘Lost World,’ the second is the ‘Dark Forest,’ and the third is the ‘Cosmic Starship.’”

As Little Black recounted, Ye Chen learned a great deal of information. The world he had just experienced was the ‘Lost World,’ one of the three trials. Furthermore, those entering the Demon God Palace through the other 10,007 entrances would be randomly assigned to the remaining trial grounds. Only by surviving the trial grounds could one truly enter the Demon God Palace.

“And,” Little Black added respectfully, “according to these two’s memories, in other parts of the Demon God Palace, many people have already emerged from the trial grounds and are heading toward the central castle, where the tokens of inheritance for the Demon God Palace are kept.”

“Tokens of inheritance for the Demon God Palace?” Ye Chen was momentarily stunned.

Little Black nodded. “Yes. Through the intelligent systems in the other structures within this city, these two discovered that the master of the Demon God Palace, Wan Renxiong, always intended the palace to be an inheritance item passed down to descendants. Therefore, the person who obtains the inheritance will ultimately receive the entire Demon God Palace.”

“The entire Demon God Palace!” Ye Chen’s eyes blazed with light.

“Then why didn’t they go to that central castle?” Kaba suddenly asked the crucial question.

Recent updates have been inconsistent; I will adjust next month. I want to try releasing one chapter at 7 AM and another at 10 PM, with bonus chapters calculated separately. My health has declined recently, and I wish to wake up early to exercise and adjust my routine. I hope everyone understands. RO
