"To always keep a contingency plan up your sleeve—that saying truly holds water. Heh heh heh, did you think I could only conjure up beauties with voluptuous figures? Wrong!" Siren's smile was utterly smug.
With a swift tug, he ripped the metal ring from his head, leaping nimbly from the water trough. The bodies of the two maids instantly disintegrated in the air, streams of pure energy surging back into Siren's core.
Siren flipped off the camera lenses mounted on several spots on the ceiling, then forcefully thrust his lower body in the direction of the monitors. A shrill alarm immediately pierced every corner of the base. Siren merely waved a hand, and silver light shimmered around him as a dozen charming young girls, shouting slogans, burst forth from the glow. They rushed toward the portal where Major General Fick had just entered, clutching clusters of heavy magnetic oscillation bombs. With a thunderous explosion, the portal was blown open, revealing an exceptionally busy medical center ahead. Countless military doctors, clad in white uniforms beneath their scrubs, stared in terror.
"The only reason I tolerate that Evil Dragon's side is because he always insists that mercenaries shouldn't concern themselves with any rules!"
Siren roared with laughter, summoning even more Boundary Puppets. Great swarms of beautiful girls, some laden with bombs, others brandishing submachine guns or wielding long swords and short blades, joyfully leaped out of the silver light. They surged like a tide, conquering the medical center, dozens of nearby wards, and the corridors connecting them. They swept through three mess halls where numerous soldiers were eating, as well as two soldiers' clubs, seven soldiers' bars, and a communal bathhouse.
Explosions punctuated the air sporadically, mixed with the ceaseless crackle of gunfire. The Federation soldiers, realizing the situation had spiraled, began to fight back. Siren was enveloped in a dense shell of silver light as he remotely commanded thousands of beauties to engage the soldiers in fierce battle throughout the base.
The fearless Boundary Puppets clashed with the base guards, who fought knowing that every casualty was a permanent loss. After a brief ten minutes, the beautiful girls had gained overwhelming superiority.
"Hey! Found them!" Siren’s eyes suddenly lit up. The more than three hundred girls who had stormed a supply depot discovered a large cache of preliminarily processed Zakula energy crystals. At a rough estimate, the volume of these Zakula crystals amounted to twenty thousand cubic meters. Siren let out a triumphant, joyful howl and dashed toward the supply depot at his maximum speed. For a Boundary Master—a Boundary Master equipped with sufficient Zakula crystals for replenishment—what was there left to fear?
Dulu? Perhaps he could cause a little trouble.
But Siren smiled with a strange glint.
"Aredia, brilliant work!" Siren murmured in praise as he sped toward the supply depot.
Keeping a few trump cards ready at all times, Siren felt that familiar surge of satisfaction. Only he and Aredia shared the secret of this reserve power. They had lived together since childhood and shared an incredible mental link. Because of this bond, Aredia had always been Siren's most trusted confidante, though it also meant that Siren’s every move was difficult to hide from her.
"That's the double-edged sword of it!" Siren lamented with a mixture of pain and pleasure. "So, every time I'm about to enjoy myself, she manages to show up right on time!"
Inside a heavily fortified prison cell, Dulu, seated in a wheelchair, gazed intently at Aredia, who sat cross-legged before him.
Aredia's injuries were far less severe than Siren’s, and she had received meticulous treatment, allowing all her wounds to heal. However, a mental suppression ring encircled her head, and a grotesque metallic spider had clamped onto her lower abdomen—her Dantian. Two electromagnetic chains were tightly locked around her wrists and ankles, preventing her from removing the ring on her head.
Dulu stared blankly at Aredia, saliva constantly dribbling from the corners of his mouth. He mumbled indistinctly, "I met Siren... He said he needs to think about whether to give you to me... But I think he'll agree. I'm a good boy, I don't steal other people's things... If he gives you to me, you're mine, and I'll sleep with you... If you don't agree, I'll strip your clothes off... Your figure is so good, better than any of the female soldiers I've slept with."
Aredia watched the electronic shackles on her wrists with an expressionless face.
Dulu's grey eyes were filled with excitement, and he giggled happily at Aredia, "Don't worry, I'll treat you well... Heh heh, even though my body is weak from over-extending my psychic energy, my masculine functions are potent. I will satisfy you... I will protect you well; I am powerful, my psychic power is immensely strong..."
Dulu boasted, "Do you have any idea how strong my psychic power is?" Dulu acted like a boy in his first crush, shyly showing off his greatest asset to the woman he admired.
"Oh? How strong is it?" Aredia played along, asking cooperatively.
Dulu immediately let out a few excited hums, puffing out his chest as he boasted, "I possess high-level Earth psychic strength! Do you understand? High-level Earth psychic strength! And if amplified by my treasure!" Dulu struggled to raise his right hand and patted the armrest of his wheelchair, stating proudly, "This psychic wave amplifier is the latest product from the Romanians. Heh heh, it can boost my psychic impact five to ten times! After amplification, my psychic strength reaches Venus-level!"
Aredia lifted her head, looking at Dulu with feigned horror. Dulu nodded repeatedly with satisfaction, wagging his head and chuckling, "Venus-level psychic impact—even among the Romanians, very few possess such formidable mental power! Hooo... That's why I hold the rank of Federation Lieutenant General. I am a Lieutenant General... If you follow me, I’ll be good to you!"
Aredia's fiery red eyes were icy cold. She watched Dulu without uttering a word. She could sense Siren's previously faint aura steadily strengthening; Siren's power was recovering.
Seeing Aredia staring at him like that, Dulu subconsciously believed she was stunned by the power he was displaying. He twisted his body smugly and slowly climbed down from his wheelchair. His large head nearly tipped him over. Dulu stuck out a slick red tongue and licked his lips, slowly shuffling toward Aredia with tiny steps. His two underdeveloped little hands bravely reached toward Aredia's chest. Dulu mumbled to himself, "I think Siren will agree to my request; he'll give you to me... I'm going to sleep with you right now!"
"Oh? Is that so?"
Aredia glared angrily at the diminutive Dulu. A flash of wild flame suddenly crossed her eyes.
A stunningly crafted, three-foot-long crimson crystal staff abruptly shot out from within Aredia’s body. She bit down hard on her tongue, spitting a bead of blood onto the staff.
A terrifying flame erupted from the crystal staff, and a foot-thick dragon of fire surged forth, coiling around Dulu. Aredia murmured softly, "In the name of Hestia, burn away all evil in this world!"
Dulu possessed terrifying psychic power, but his physical body was so frail that he was weaker than a five-year-old child. His intelligence barely surpassed that of a seven or eight-year-old. Faced with Aredia’s sudden attack, Dulu didn't counterattack immediately; instead, he looked at Aredia with confusion. He couldn't understand why Aredia would attack him when he liked her so much.
Nearly ten thousand degrees of heat poured from the fire dragon. Dulu's malformed body vaporized in the fiery light.
The metal ring on Aredia's head, the metal spider on her abdomen, and the electromagnetic shackles on her wrists and ankles all turned into wisps of smoke simultaneously. Aredia gripped the crimson crystal staff with difficulty and raised it high. "Great Hestia, let your power shroud this world!"
A mouthful of blood erupted from her lips, and several strands of Aredia's hair instantly turned snow white. The crystal staff had absorbed a portion of Aredia's life force, unleashing truly terrifying might.
Three fire dragons, thick as water barrels, roared out of the crystal staff. The cell's alloy door, three feet thick, instantly vaporized. The ten innate fighters outside the door screamed in agony before turning into piles of ash. A patrol unit passing by was swallowed by the flames, leaving their blackened silhouettes scorched onto the rear wall. Under Aredia’s control, the surging heat wave shot forward along the corridor.
The three fire dragons annihilated everything in their path.
Squads of soldiers rushed forward, instantly vaporized.
Powerful martial artists approached, instantly vaporized. Innate fighters charged forward, instantly vaporized.
Light tanks roared forward, instantly vaporized. Heavy tanks spewed high-energy rays as they attacked. They finally managed to withstand the towering flames for over a second, but three seconds later, the heavy tanks, constructed of special alloys, also melted into puddles of molten metal spreading across the ground.
Aredia was entirely enveloped in a shroud of cyan flame. Every step she took left a small molten crater on the floor, and the corridors she passed through were widened and deepened several times over.
The unstoppable Aredia strode directly to the supply depot Siren had secured. She spat out several mouthfuls of blood before weakly launching one final fireball toward the sky.
"Oh, no!" Siren rushed to embrace Aredia, muttering low, "Aredia, you didn't need to use that damn, evil staff. Heavens, heavens, don't you know how much life force that thing drains from you?"
Aredia growled hoarsely, "Enough chatter, run, quickly! Do you truly think we can take on the regular Federation Army? That terrifying monster—if I hadn't used the Hestia Staff, how would I have dared to strike him? He is an Earth-level monster! His psychic power is Earth-level!"
"Good heavens!" Siren cried out in alarm, hurriedly lifting Aredia and standing atop a massive pile of Zakula crystals.
Countless girls surged out from around Siren like a tide. These young women, wrapped in bombs, cheered "Long live the Master!" and whistled as they streamed down the passages into every corner of the Pangu Base. The piercing alarms blared ceaselessly; the Pangu Base descended into panicked chaos.
The last fireball Aredia fired carved out a passage above them—several meters in diameter and about a hundred meters deep. Siren, holding Aredia, shot upward, quickly emerging onto the surface through the newly formed shaft.
In the utter disarray of the Pangu Base, no one noticed their departure. Siren swiftly commandeered a high-speed fighter jet and sped away.
"No one gets to do that to my Siren!"
Glancing back at the immense Pangu Base, Siren clenched his fist fiercely. All the girls dissolved into streaks of silver light, flowing back into Siren's body. Ultimately, Siren dared not command them to detonate the bombs they carried. Killing a few Federation soldiers was inconsequential, but destroying a forward military base of the Federation? Even with legal immunity, Siren couldn't escape the fallout.
"Let's go, my dear, we'll find that Evil Dragon guy."
"Am I suddenly growing dull? Why is it that when he's around, I feel less inclined to use my brain?"
Amidst these rambling murmurs, Siren steered the fighter jet endlessly toward the depths of the boundless wilderness.
