Dozens of armed robots raised their arms, long tongues of fire spewing from their muzzles, streaks of flame cutting through the forest, splintering trees across the woods. (This book is reproduced from Shiliu Literature Network) Nearly a hundred fierce bald female soldiers, shouting slogans as they charged, were shredded into dust amid the hail of bullets, yet a dozen or so managed to breach the robot ranks. With a high-pitched cry of "Long live the Master!", the dozen female soldiers simultaneously detonated the explosives strapped to their bodies, blasting dozens of robots into the air. Their bodies twisted and pulverized, finally dissolving into fine motes of light that drifted away.

Ducat Holsam was already slick with sweat, his muscles twitching. A sharp pain in his ** viscera sent waves of agony through him, making him feel like a lemon being squeezed dry, about to yield its last drop of energy. In just half an hour, nearly ten thousand armed robots had been destroyed; the energy he had preemptively absorbed from the Zakra crystal was nearly depleted, and his own mental power was almost exhausted.

"The final strike!" Ducat Holsam roared with all his might, his voice condensing into a sound wave as thick as a bowl, blasting forward. The barely visible sound wave erupted around Siren, a shockwave tearing the leaves and branches near Siren to shreds, almost blasting Siren off the tall tree. The immense sonic boom made Siren’s eardrums ache, and his vision swam with stars.

"Good!" Siren’s eyes lit up, and he laughed heartily, "You half-breed bastard actually still have a trick like that?" Condensing sound into form and striking hundreds of meters away, harming unseen—that innate ability was truly terrifying.

The moment he heard the words "half-breed bastard," Ducat Holsam’s face darkened, his eyes flashing red with rage. All the armed robots in the forest instantly transformed into streams of white light surging back into his body. Ducat Holsam roared low, pointing his middle and index fingers—held like swords—at his own brow. A powerful beam of white light, like a searchlight, shot out from his forehead, extending nearly a hundred meters. The white light illuminated the ground within a hundred-meter radius, within which the faint shimmer of some colossal mechanical creation was visible.

All the female soldiers in the woods also dissolved into streams of silver light, pouring back into Siren. Siren lightly tapped his temples with his index fingers, and a tangible, silver light, accompanied by the faint sound of an iceberg collision, erupted from his brow. The magnificent silver light flickered through the forest, showering vast amounts of light-rain everywhere, and a pair of gorgeous silver wings slowly unfurled within the downpour.

Five minutes later, a stark-naked, five-meter-tall woman with silver wings coalesced from the light-rain. This exquisitely beautiful silver-winged woman wielded an eight-meter-long silver spear, the sharp, foot-long tip of which crackled with silver arcs of electricity as thick as a thumb. The woman's wings opened and closed gently, releasing an immense pressure outward. Dozens of massive trees were uprooted by a sudden gale, a silver tornado howling and raging as the lifted trees shattered inch by inch.

Gu Xiechen, after slaying nearly a hundred Black Panther bio-beasts, had stealthily crept within a hundred meters behind Ducat Holsam. He stood on a tree branch, less than ten feet below him perched a dozen Roman soldiers standing ready. These elite Roman warriors were completely unaware of Gu Xiechen’s arrival; they stared vigilantly toward the fire-streaked forest ahead, none thinking to look up at the branch above their heads.

Gu Xiechen squatted on the branch, curiously observing the white beam of light shooting from Ducat Holsam’s brow. Another Jieshi, and a Roman Jieshi at that. Moreover, it seemed his strength was evenly matched with Siren's; neither could gain the upper hand. A Jieshi could absorb energy from Zakra crystals to replenish their consumption, but the root of a Jieshi's power lay in their own spiritual cultivation. The difference in their mental strength appeared negligible; this battle would likely be hard to call.

"What could it be?" Gu Xiechen narrowed his eyes, examining the utterly focused Ducat Holsam. "A half-breed of Roman and Earthling? In a race like the Romans, where lineage is paramount, this fellow’s life must not be easy?"

"Du... Cat... Holsam!"

Accompanied by a muffled, colossal electronic roar, a towering ten-meter machine materialized within the white light. This robot possessed sleek lines, resembling a heavy cavalry knight from Medieval Europe. Its left hand tightly gripped a seven-meter-long single-edged, serrated sword, while its right arm held a high-energy cannon with a bore nearly a meter across. As soon as it appeared from the white light, the robot shouted Ducat’s name skyward and forcefully raised the single-edged sword in its left hand.

"A high-energy cannon with a thousand-millimeter bore? That’s the standard main cannon for a Third-Class Battleship! Can it possibly possess such a powerful energy engine?" Gu Xiechen sucked in a sharp breath. A fully charged main cannon from a Third-Class Battleship had destructive power equivalent to over a hundred tons of standard TNT, which translated to at least 150,000 on the Zakra Index.

With a piercing sonic boom, the Silver-Winged Angel summoned by Siren charged toward the colossal robot, its spear trailing a brilliant silver streak.

Ducat Holsam roared, "Destroyer, advance!"

Eighteen rhombic vents suddenly opened on the Destroyer robot's rear, spewing out several meters of bluish-purple plasma flame, propelling the massive robot nimbly into the air as it lunged toward the Silver-Winged Angel ahead. The Silver-Winged Angel deftly weaved between the tall trees, her spear lightly aimed at the Destroyer's massive head. The Destroyer’s twin electronic eyes flashed with blinding red light, and Wagner’s Symphony of Fate began to blare deafeningly from its chassis. Amidst the powerful, stirring music, the Destroyer soared over two hundred meters high, swinging its serrated sword downward with full force toward the Silver-Winged Angel.

The Silver-Winged Angel met the attack head-on, neither dodging nor flinching. The light on her wings flashed intensely, and streams of silver brilliance continuously poured from her hands into the spear. The eight-meter-long spear abruptly shortened by over a meter, but a crystalline, wave-like beam of intense light, more than three meters long, burst forth from the spearhead.

"A Sword Aura?" Gu Xiechen gasped in surprise. He leaped lightly into the air, moving in an arc toward Ducat like a blood bat hunting under the cover of night.

With a thunderous crash, the Destroyer and the Silver-Winged Angel’s weapons collided violently. The three-meter-long Sword Aura shattered the serrated sword. With a flash of silver light, the Sword Aura plunged into the Destroyer’s metal skull. Electricity as thick as an arm erupted from within the Destroyer, and the Symphony of Fate inside the machine grew even louder. The massive robot completely ignored the spear lodged in its head and the Silver-Winged Angel mere feet away; its electronic eyes were fixed squarely on Siren several hundred meters distant. Its right high-energy cannon rapidly raised.

Flickering blue electrical sparks coiled around the muzzle. The plasma vents behind the Destroyer simultaneously extinguished. Its internal engine was overloaded by 200%, channeling immense power into the high-energy cannon in its hand. The Silver-Winged Angel’s spear disintegrated, and the Destroyer's massive head exploded in response. A violent stream of high-energy particles instantly shot from the muzzle, directly at Siren.

Siren had exhausted the last vestiges of his energy to condense the Silver-Winged Angel. Ducat Holsam had calculated this precise moment to enact this deadly kill move.

Aredia, who had been standing silently beside Siren, suddenly let out a sharp cry. She grabbed Siren, transforming into a flare of fire, and shot diagonally upward into the sky. A fierce blaze trailed a hundred-meter-long crimson waterfall of light through the air, instantly carrying them two or three kilometers away. The Destroyer's full-power shot only struck the tree Siren had been standing against, instantly vaporizing the tree into fine smoke and leaving behind a bottomless pit several meters in diameter. Wisps of smoke continually curled from the pit, the earth on the pit walls melted, and droplets of flowing red substance dripped down the edges.

With a deafening 'Boom,' the Destroyer exploded mid-air, shattering along with the Silver-Winged Angel, which had expended its full power in the strike.
