Jizo-ji Keiko was desperately trying to guard her vital essence against Maho's draining when the Jingcu acupoint was suddenly struck hard by Xin Jia. It was as if the floodgates of a dam had been blown open with dynamite; all the vitality within Jizo-ji Keiko surged out, leaving not a single drop for the vengeful Maho to draw. (Read the full novel at .1k.(1⑥k.wen.xue.net) Jizo-ji Keiko’s body rapidly shrank and withered, looking moments away from becoming what Maho had just been.
Maho felt waves of fiercely hot, pure, powerful energy flooding into his body. Not only was the essence he had drained completely returned, but energy over a hundred times greater than his own began to pour in. He violently shoved away the now lifeless Jizo-ji Keiko, who was sitting on him, and rapidly circulated the energy through all thirteen of his meridian wheels, trying desperately to absorb the torrent. However, the incoming essence was too vast and chaotic; no matter how hard he tried, Maho could not refine it for his own use.
Xin Jia raised his high-energy cannon and blasted a round toward the dense woods to his side. Without even looking at his target, he earnestly asked Maho, "If you can't refine this essence, shall this general assist?"
Maho looked up at Xin Jia. Was this the boundary puppet summoned by Gu Xiechen? To him, he looked no different from a living person—his intelligence was too high! Maho took a deep breath and chuckled dryly, "That would be splendid. This demoness has undoubtedly harmed countless people; this essence is far too complex and enormous for me to possibly digest and absorb!"
"Good!" Xin Jia agreed. He smiled at Maho, "This deity happens to know an extremely effective method for refining true qi! Heh heh heh, the Thunder Gods used this very technique to help those strange anomalies who cultivated into spirits and achieved human form back in the day!"
The Thunder Gods? Maho was suddenly struck by a terrifying possibility. He shrieked, "The legendary Heavenly Tribulation? Save me!" When anomalies cultivated into spirits and took human form, the essence within them was similarly impure and mixed. What else could help them refine that essence, combing the chaotic energy into a single strand of utmost purity, besides the legendary Heavenly Tribulation?
As Maho’s scream escaped, Xin Jia had already formed a hand seal and pointed toward the sky.
‘Kacha-cha, Hong-long-long’...
Nine thick, arm-sized bolts of Yellow Earthen God Lightning descended from the heavens. The nine bolts fiercely struck Maho’s body. The instant the lightning entered him, Maho’s massive form became nearly transparent. The nine bolts hammered like gigantic iron hammers on an anvil striking iron ore, instantly scouring away all the impurities within the vast essence in Maho’s body, leaving behind only strands of pure, smooth, pristine true qi.
Maho’s body convulsed violently on the ground a few times. He felt as if millions of people were simultaneously striking him with colossal iron spikes. The excruciating pain and numbness nearly killed him. The impact of the nine bolts passed in an instant, and his thirteen meridian wheels were suddenly filled with readily circulating, agile, and vibrant Zen Origin Power! At the command of his divine sense, the massive Zen Origin Power in his wheels moved at his will. Every muscle in his body was filled with strength; it felt as if a casual punch could shatter a great mountain!
Xin Jia 'honestly' chuckled at Maho, "You had a trace of evil aura clinging to you just now. This deity used the Earthen God Lightning to help you dispel the evil energy and refine your true qi simultaneously. You mustn't be polite!"
"Polite my foot!" The completely blackened Maho sprang up, pointing at Xin Jia and cursing violently, "Do you know what you just did? You fucking struck me with lightning! That’s lethal!"
Xin Jia blinked, looking very seriously at Maho, "That fellow who looks exactly like you is still fighting desperately over there!"
Maho froze for a moment, then suddenly shot up, transforming into a black gale charging toward the woods nearby.
Xin Jia chuckled a few times, closed his eyes, and spread his divine sense outward, sensing the situation in the surrounding miles of forest. He then reached down, grabbed a handful of dirt, and scattered it toward the sky before instantly sinking into the ground and vanishing.
Mid-air, Prajñā watched in despair as the black stabbing sword was about to pierce her body; she had no time to react.
Just then, a high-energy particle stream, nearly a meter thick, whistled in. Yakushiji Sakura shrieked in terror as she was instantly enveloped by the particle stream and turned into a wisp of green smoke. This meter-wide particle stream narrowly grazed Prajñā’s body, boring straight through dozens of large trees before dissipating.
The deadliest strike aimed at Prajñā was shattered by the sudden particle stream. All of Prajñā’s focus immediately converged on Guanyin-ji Kiki, who was lunging with his sword. The lion-shaped energy projection in her hand condensed even further, and Prajñā unleashed an almost perfect strike.
The sword light and the white lion collided with a crash. Prajñā’s body remained unshaken, while the long sword shattered inch by inch amidst the massive vibrations. The lion energy projection slammed into Guanyin-ji Kiki's chest, instantly vaporizing half of his body. The enraged white lion transformed into a beam of white light and shot straight out, snapping a dozen large trees in half. The white lion struck a small thicket over two hundred meters away, sending a cloud of white energy rising hundreds of meters high. A circle of shockwave swept the surroundings, and the forest within hundreds of meters was blasted into dust with a tremendous sound.
Prajñā stared coldly at the leveled expanse of dense forest, slowly drifting down from the sky, supported by two white lotus flowers beneath her feet.
Streams of blue-black blood continuously seeped out from under the skin that had ruptured near her Dantian, but the blood quickly returned to its normal bright red color.
A gentle gust of wind rushed over, and Siren silently materialized on a large branch of a tree next to Prajñā.
Prajñā nodded toward Siren and sneered, "People from the Three Witch Sect of the Asian Dao Alliance."
Siren frowned, then roared indignantly, "I knew he would make enemies!"
Dull footsteps sounded, and two large trees were violently breached, spewing wood chips everywhere. Maho charged through like a maddened water buffalo. The white energy waves surging around Maho condensed behind him into an image of the three-eyed Horse-Headed Wisdom King, which seemed almost tangible. The powerful energy signature caused even Siren’s expression to change.
"Releasing Aura Externally, Condensing Form and Illusion! This is... a Jupiter-level Fighter!" Siren and Prajñā exclaimed simultaneously.
Maho roared through gritted teeth, "Big Brother, Big Brother, are you alright? Damn it, it’s a vassal clan of the Three Witch Sect, some damned Jizo-ji! I’m taking people to wipe them out!"
Maho’s whole body was brimming with murderous intent, and he loudly clamored with thunderous leaps that he must take men to kill and seek revenge. Maho, who was already a troublemaker in the Hell’s Angels Mercenary Group—otherwise, he wouldn't have been made the chief instructor for the new recruits—had never suffered such humiliation. He was nearly sucked dry by a delicate little girl, which was the greatest humiliation of his life. Especially seeing the gruesome wound on Prajñā’s lower abdomen, Maho’s rage intensified!
