Gu Yechen frantically grabbed a pair of binoculars and focused them on the direction of the encampment. Every single girl emerging from that silver light had piercingly bright eyes, clearly possessing no weak true energy cultivation. Their steps were agile and light, raising not a speck of dust as they moved; their movement techniques and combat skills were truly superb. (This book is reprinted from 1wenxue.6.)

Gradually, the stream of light surging from the crystal ore dissipated, the energy contained within the over thirty cubic meters of raw crystal ore completely exhausted, and more than five thousand girls rushed into the dense forest.

"Damn it!" Gu Yechen's eye twitched. He watched in horror as three girls brandishing long sabers bounded towards his location like flying leaps. These girls moved with practiced, seasoned skill; the movements of each one rivaled a special forces soldier hardened by years of combat. What made matters worse was that judging by their movement techniques, all of them possessed true energy cultivation nearing the Xiantian (Innate) level.

"Is this the power of a Jieshi (Realm Master)?" Gu Yechen shivered slightly. Such miraculous power, such bizarre abilities. Did this mean that as long as Siren was given enough Zakula crystal ore, he could endlessly generate an elite army? Hmm, he wondered if this ability of a Jieshi had a limit. If there were no upper limit, a Jieshi possessing sufficient Zakula crystal would be invincible.

Squatting on a tree branch to ponder for a moment, Gu Yechen slowly retreated deeper into the dense woods. He saw Siren board one of three high-speed helicopters, accompanied by a long-haired woman whose hair was the color of blazing red, and over thirty people dressed in white, flying out of the camp. The three helicopters circled the camp once, forming a standard triangle, and flew off in the direction to Gu Yechen's left as if vanishing into the boundless distance.

Siren had mobilized personally! Gu Yechen glanced at the heavily guarded camp and then grinned suddenly.

The sky gradually darkened, and lightning flickered again within the dark clouds. Suddenly, over a dozen bolts of lightning struck down haphazardly, turning several towering ancient trees into fiercely burning torches. The hundred-meter-tall trees roared with a 'huhu' sound as they burned. The fierce wind swept through the timber, carrying countless burning branches and leaves that danced along the gale. The firelight illuminated for hundreds of meters, turning a large expanse of the dense forest into a brilliantly lit area.

When the lightning struck, the three girls with long sabers were nearby. The violent streaks of electricity crept down the tree trunks, setting them alight wherever the electric serpent passed. One girl was a little too close to a trunk, and a bolt of lightning as thick as an arm struck her body. The girl's body became translucent, and then with a 'bang,' she exploded into a shower of silver light amidst the dazzling electrical flash. The other two girls simultaneously leaped away, avoiding the burning trees, just as a downpour began to fall.

The whistling sound of the wind, the roar of the raging fire, and the 'chzzla' sound produced by the rain meeting the flames muted the five senses by at least seventy to eighty percent. The two girls stood frozen, staring blankly at the spot where their companion had vanished. Gu Yechen, covered head to toe in long grass, emerged behind them as silently as a phantom. Two sharp stakes carved from branches violently pierced through the backs of the two girls' hearts. Two streams of silver liquid spurted out, yet the two girls countered, slashing back at Gu Yechen without so much as a whimper.

One strike aimed for the neck, the other swept towards the groin—both cuts were swift as thunder and fire, ruthless and merciless.

Gu Yechen was deeply startled and nearly struck. An ordinary person, impaled through the back with a stake as thick as a wrist, would instantly lose all ability to resist. But the vitality of these puppets was astonishingly tenacious. They could still launch a counterattack even after their hearts were pierced and crushed, and the counterattack was utterly fierce.

It seemed all the life force of the two girls was focused into that single blow. Shouting 'Long live the master!' they unleashed their fatal strikes and simultaneously opened their mouths to bite viciously at Gu Yechen.

With a sharp twist of his wrists, the stakes were driven at least another two inches into the girls' bodies. Gu Yechen blocked the downward cuts with his claws, shattering the two long sabers into dust. He retreated exactly three inches, and the girls' sharp teeth scraped past Gu Yechen's neck. Their soft lips lightly brushed his skin, and immediately afterward, their bodies exploded into a sky full of silver light rain.

This time, the silver light rain did not dissipate or fly back towards Siren's body. Tiny specks of silver light, like fireflies on a summer night, zipped rapidly around Gu Yechen, emitting faint, low-pitched whistles amidst the luminescence.

Gu Yechen's expression changed. He suddenly sprang upward five or six zhang high, covering several dozen meters in just a few bounds until he reached the top of a large tree. Looking around, aided by the bright flashes from the continuously descending lightning bolts, he could vaguely make out countless silver reflections approaching from all directions in the surrounding forest—the reflections of the long sabers held by the girls. In just two or three minutes, more than thirty girls had closed in on the tree where Gu Yechen was perched. What truly horrified Gu Yechen was that the silver light formed by the two slain girls pursued him relentlessly. Gu Yechen, shrouded entirely in flashing silver light, looked like a ten-thousand-watt floodlight in the pitch-black forest; his silhouette was clearly visible from at least twenty kilometers away.

"Siren!" Gu Yechen cursed in fury.

His claws crossed, and Xiantian Gang Qi (Innate Energy) erupted from his palms. The air around Gu Yechen violently fluctuated, accompanied by a muffled roar, and the tree canopy beneath his feet exploded into countless splinters flying everywhere. However, the silver light points clinging to Gu Yechen only dimmed slightly; they were still far from being completely dispersed.

Before Gu Yechen could unleash a second energy burst, the thirty-plus girls leaped like nimble cats onto the surrounding dozen large trees. They shouted loudly and leaped into the air, their long sabers trailing bright arcs of light as they swung down upon him. The thirty-plus sabers sealed off every angle around Gu Yechen, the resulting net of blade light appearing to have absolutely no gap for him to escape.

Gu Yechen cursed and shot straight up. His claws, obscured by the hazy cold mist, rapidly turned translucent. The Xue Po Shen Gang (Snow Soul Divine Might) roared out, whipping fierce gales around him. The thirty-plus long sabers froze and shattered in the cold wind, finally exploding into a shower of ice fragments scattering in all directions. Gu Yechen's body twisted and turned through the air like a soaring dragon. His Xue Po Shen Zhua (Snow Soul Divine Claws) fiercely imprinted a strike onto the forehead of every single girl. The bone-chillingly cold claw energy pierced directly into their brains, instantly severing the girls' vitality. Their bodies froze into blocks of blue ice, which then rapidly disintegrated within the ice into specks of silver light rain.

The light rain generated simultaneously from the thirty-plus slain girls shot out from the ice chunks and converged around Gu Yechen. In the dark night, Gu Yechen was practically a silver sun, radiating dazzling light.

More girls poured out from the dense forest in all directions, shouting the slogan 'Long live the master!' and charging towards Gu Yechen without hesitation.

Gu Yechen felt a surge of excitement in battle. Since this silver light rain could not be dispelled, what did it matter if more came? He let out a low howl and charged towards the approaching girls.

'Karak!' Dozens of lightning bolts struck simultaneously, setting dozens of giant trees on fire. Even the pouring rain could not extinguish the raging inferno. The surrounding square li of woodland was lit up as brightly as daylight, and more and more girls swarmed in to completely surround Gu Yechen.

Long sabers sliced through the air with piercing screeches, hacking towards Gu Yechen. These girls completely disregarded their own safety; their sole focus was to close the distance, then unleash their single, all-or-nothing strike!

Gu Yechen's claws flashed amidst the firelight, spraying cold energy several meters outward. Before many girls could even approach Gu Yechen, they were blasted away mid-air. Hits landed on their heads, chests, and lower abdomens—vital points for every girl. Each claw strike left behind a terrifying wound several inches deep. One by one, the delicate and beautiful women perished in the dark night of wind and rain, their bodies spewing silver blood before dissolving into silver light rain that rushed towards Gu Yechen.

Gradually, Gu Yechen transformed into a sphere of silver light over two meters in diameter. The light was so intense that Gu Yechen himself could no longer see the scene before him.

With his vision obstructed, Gu Yechen had to rely on his hearing to gauge the situation around him. However, the sound of thunder, the howl of the wind, and the roar of the torrential rain filled his ears. The footsteps of the approaching girls were masked by this cacophony, and he could barely pinpoint their positions only when they pressed close enough to unleash their final, fierce saber strike.

A muffled thunderclap exploded directly overhead. Gu Yechen was momentarily deafened, and three long sabers brutally stabbed into his chest, his back, and his side. The Sub-Assassin Type III combat suit diligently blocked the sharpness of the blades. Gu Yechen's muscles tensed and then sprang outward, an invisible inner force erupting from within him. The three girls who had just succeeded in stabbing him felt a violent jolt in their wrists, and an explosive Gang Qi surged along the sabers into their arm meridians. The sabers shattered inch by inch, and along with them, the right arms of the three girls also exploded apart.

Gu Yechen slowly drew his hands in a circle, his claws slowly cradling a sphere shape in front of his Dantian. Thousands of raindrops were restrained and gathered around him by the invisible inner force. Xue Po Shen Gang erupted from his fingertips, and the thousands of rapidly spinning raindrops condensed into ice bullets harder than steel. With an evil laugh, Gu Yechen swung both hands to his sides, and the thousands of ice bullets whistled out in all directions. Hundreds of girls who had just leaped out of the forest were struck, splashes of silver water appearing on their bodies as they were riddled with holes like sieves by the ice bullets.

Hundreds of streams of light simultaneously shot towards Gu Yechen. The silver light enveloping his body had already thickened to about five meters. Now, not only could Gu Yechen not see clearly, but even his hearing was severely weakened.

The special abilities of the Jieshi were truly mysterious and unpredictable. Gu Yechen suffered a hidden loss due to a momentary lapse in caution.

Panicked, Gu Yechen continuously surged his Gang Qi outward in all directions, unleashing heavy concussive blasts. The silver light sphere was reduced by over two feet in thickness, and nearly a hundred girls who had just arrived and lunged at Gu Yechen were thrown back with muffled groans. But these girls fearlessly leaped up again to attack Gu Yechen. Another blast erupted, knocking them back again, and they once more leaped up to charge.

This repeated more than ten times; the girls' bodies were shaken into fragments, and they again transformed into silver light rain rushing towards Gu Yechen. The silver light sphere, which had been thinned by over a meter, immediately returned to a thickness of over five meters.

Lightning continued to split the sky, and a nameless rage rose in Gu Yechen's heart. As he was ruthlessly tearing a dozen charging girls to shreds, Gu Yechen suddenly felt a chill in his heart. A primal sense of danger made him let out a long cry and charge towards the nearby dense forest. Although he could not see, Gu Yechen, relying on his keen senses, darted through the woods with incredible speed, soon breaking away from the girls' pursuit. However, Gu Yechen, covered entirely in intensely bright silver light, was so conspicuous in the dark forest that he could be clearly seen even tens of kilometers away.

The sound of thunder was incessant. Three high-speed assault helicopters flew rapidly towards him, skimming just above the treetops.

The hatch of the leading helicopter was open, and Siren leaned more than half his body out, gripping the door handle. His silver hair whipped wildly in the gale as Siren stared with a look of malicious glee at the silver light sphere leaping and darting several hundred meters ahead. "Run! Keep running! I command you to run! Heh heh heh, you killed so many of my subordinates, now run?"

The red-haired Aredia stood quietly beside Siren. She looked at Gu Yechen fleeing rapidly and asked coldly, "Siren, alive or dead?"

Siren turned to look at Aredia and smiled faintly, "I said I would use him to extort the Gu Group three times! Well, Gu Juechen's brother is quite valuable!"

"Then heavily injured!" Aredia gave a cold laugh, her lips, red as if burning fresh blood, tightening into a thin line.

She lightly waved her right hand in the air, and suddenly three crimson fireballs materialized in front of her fingers. The crimson fireballs, each over three meters in diameter, burned fiercely amidst the wind and rain. The raindrops hitting the fireballs not only failed to diminish their power but, vaporized by the heat, actually enhanced the fireballs' intensity. Two small flames ignited in Aredia's red eyes. The three fireballs rapidly compressed from about three meters in diameter until they were only the size of human heads.

The originally crimson fireballs had turned black-red, with thick, viscous magma faintly churning in their cores, causing the surrounding temperature to rise sharply. A sharp alarm suddenly blared inside the helicopter. The pilot shouted in terror, "Lord Aredia, the airframe is about to fail due to the high temperature!"

"Understood!" Aredia snorted coldly. With a light wave of her slender, powerful five fingers, the three fireballs shot out in a straight line towards Gu Yechen, accompanied by a sound like muffled thunder.

Gu Yechen sensed an intensely hot and violent energy rapidly closing in from behind. This power made his heart pound violently, and the hair on his body stood on end; he realized that a devastating disaster was rapidly approaching. "Damn it!" He activated the Hanyuan Zhen Dian (Profound Origin True Canon) without reservation, spurting out the Xiantian Gang Qi from his Dantian, acupoints, and meridians regardless of the consequences. The speed of his heartbeat soared straight to nine hundred beats per minute, and the rapidly secreted adrenaline caused Gu Yechen's skin to turn a terrifying purplish-red. A terrible energy erupted from his heart, merging with his Xiantian Gang Qi, and shot out from the Yongquan acupoint.

Siren and Aredia watched with looks of utter disbelief as Gu Yechen suddenly leaped like a flea, covering more than a hundred meters in a single bound.
