It was a rare, bright day in the middle of winter, golden sunlight spilling generously over the Gu Clan Tower, making the Black Dragon statue atop the building shimmer as it surveyed all the people passing below.

Inside the Gu Clan Tower, however, the atmosphere was thick with dark clouds, tension stretched taut to the extreme.

Every corridor on every floor was lined with bodyguards in black suits, ninjas in form-fitting attire, and figures of unknown origin wrapped in gray robes. Every face was grim, and the employees of the various departments of the Gu Corporation scurried nervously around these imposing figures; not a single person dared to utter a superfluous word.

In the top-floor conference room, a sheet of light descended from the ceiling, illuminating the image of Gu Xiechen as he had been in Zurich.

Gu Juechen sat in the center of the room on a large black jade chair, his face grim. Flanking the conference table before him sat dozens of high-ranking executives of the Gu Corporation in silence. The atmosphere in the meeting room was even more chilling than that in the rest of the tower, everyone squinting their eyes at Gu Xiechen flickering on the screen.

The withered, three-eyed old man coughed lightly. He addressed Gu Juechen softly, "Patriarch Gu."

Gu Juechen glanced at the elder and nodded. "Elder Wu." Elder Wu forced a smile and was about to speak when Gu Juechen brought his hand down heavily on the conference table: "I gave you three days, and you let that little bastard escape Zurich; now a month has passed, and you haven't even found out where he is. Were you raised on feces?"

Elder Wu's face turned ashen, and Jizo Temple, standing behind him, looked utterly displeased.

After catching his breath, Gu Juechen pounded the table furiously, verbally tearing the assembly of Gu Corporation executives to shreds. He didn't direct a single insult at Elder Wu, yet the elder's face grew progressively paler, gradually nearing black. As Gu Juechen berated the incompetence of the Gu Corporation leadership, every word struck Elder Wu right where it hurt—he and his own people had participated in the pursuit of Gu Xiechen, and they hadn't secured so much as a single hair in return.

Taking advantage of a pause while Gu Juechen was catching his breath, a burly, dignified middle-aged man stood up and spoke in a deep voice, "Father, we could consider hiring mercenary groups."

"I curse your ancestors!" Gu Juechen snatched the teacup before him and hurled it with tremendous force at the middle-aged man's face. The sheer power sent the man flying, the porcelain cup shattering into dust against his features. The assaulted man didn't dare to utter a sound, obediently returning to his seat. Several members of the Gu family sitting near him simultaneously displayed looks of schadenfreude.

Gu Juechen pointed at the executives and roared, "A group of pig brains, hire mercenaries? Damn it, are you trying to make the Gu family a laughingstock? If this gets out, it’ll be Gu Juechen murdering his own brother to monopolize the family fortune. If people knew that, how could I, Gu Juechen, show my face in the Federal business world?"

The conference room door was suddenly thrown open, and a man rushed in, looking terrified.

Gu Juechen's face darkened again; he was about to order the man dragged out and beaten to death when the man cried out in sheer panic, "Patriarch, Patriarch, look outside the Tower! There’s a situation!"

"Hm?" Gu Juechen exchanged a look with Elder Wu. The light screen in the conference room flickered violently, displaying the surveillance footage outside the Gu Clan Tower in perfect clarity.

"What... what is going on here?" Both Gu Juechen and Elder Wu stared at the image on the screen, completely dumbfounded.

A massive contingent of beautiful young women dressed only in revealing bikinis was marching jubilantly toward the Gu Clan Tower in neat formations, singing cheerfully, their voices melodious and pleasing. A quick glance revealed at least twenty to thirty thousand of these beautiful women in bikinis; they surged toward the Gu Clan Tower like a flood, pouring inside.

The tower's security guards, the trained family warriors of the Gu Clan, Elder Wu's disciples in gray robes, and the ninjas controlled by Jizo Temple—no one could stop the advance of this group.

Twenty to thirty thousand nearly naked, beautiful young women in bikinis were rubbing and fumbling against the fiery, enthusiastic bodies of the men inside. Even the mightiest hero would turn into a boneless worm against such an onslaught. These girls possessed no martial skill or psychic abilities, nor could they conceal a single needle on their persons. Like a mountain torrent, they rushed into the Gu Clan Tower, effortlessly seizing the first floor, the second floor, the third floor... progressing with unwavering resolve toward the very top of the building.

Gu Juechen and Elder Wu's jaws nearly dislocated. Gu Juechen stared strangely at Elder Wu, who stared back just as strangely and whispered, "You, Gu Corporation, are offering employee benefits?"

"Nonsense!" Gu Juechen was so enraged he nearly vomited blood. He pointed at the image on the screen and roared, "Is this how employee benefits are distributed? Am I giving every employee five or six beautiful women?"

Slamming the conference table heavily, Gu Juechen finally issued what might be the most humiliating order of his life: "Damn it, call the police! Call the police! New York's public order, damn it!"

The middle-aged man who had been struck earlier spoke up tentatively, "Father, perhaps we should order these women beaten out?"

Gu Juechen was so angry he nearly wept, "Beat them out? Tomorrow the Gu Corporation will become the Federation's joke! Deploying family warriors to assault a group of inexplicable women? Good heavens!" Gu Juechen felt his head swell threefold; why did such bizarre things have to happen?

The high-ranking executives of the Gu Corporation exchanged wry, helpless glances. With the current scene, the Gu Corporation was guaranteed to hit tomorrow's headlines.

Just as they were at a complete loss, all the graceful young women vanished simultaneously. Their bodies disintegrated in the air, and streaks of faint silver light shot out from where they disappeared. On every floor, these streams of light drifted languidly, passing through ceiling after ceiling, rushing straight up to the top floor, finally merging into the body of a silver-haired man who had appeared at the conference room door at some unknown point.

Elder Wu's pupils contracted to pinpoints. He barked sternly, "A World Walker? Who are you...?"

The effeminate Siren slowly walked into the conference room. He bowed to the twitching Gu Juechen, his lips curling slightly. "The defensive strength of the Gu Clan Tower is too great; I had to resort to such minor tactics to gain entry. I hope I haven't caused Patriarch Gu too much trouble." Straightening up, Siren chuckled lightly, "Allow me to introduce myself: Siren, 'The Siren,' officially registered with the Earth Federation Special Administration Committee fifteen days ago."

Gu Juechen nodded slowly. "A new World Walker? No wonder; your abilities are quite interesting. And terrifying."

Siren smiled slightly, pursing his lips. "Indeed. Federal power is held by men, and all men are controlled by women. My Domain Energy commands many beautiful and lovely women, so what I can control is far more extensive than many people imagine."

Elder Wu stared coldly at Siren. "You are that newly emerged World Walker? Heh, I heard about you recently; an old zombie was planning to settle a score with you."

Siren shrugged indifferently and chuckled lightly, "Lord Corpse Emperor, the First Dao Master of the Nine Nether Path? This small misunderstanding can be easily resolved."

The blood-red light faintly swirling within the fleshy growth on Elder Wu's brow gradually deepened, and a soul-stirring evil power slowly emanated from the growth. With a hostile gaze, Elder Wu fixed his eyes on Siren, his eyes flickering as he apparently pondered some thought. Siren's heart sank slightly. He nodded and smiled toward Elder Wu, "I hold the Three Witch Sect in great reverence. We should be friends, not enemies." Siren's gaze intently fixed on the fleshy growth between Elder Wu's brows, and a cold glint flashed in his beautiful silver eyes.

Elder Wu pondered for a moment, then forced a smile and slowly nodded.

Gu Juechen asked dryly, "Then, Mr. Siren, you didn't come to our Gu Corporation just to play a joke on us, did you?"

Siren reached into the large pocket of his robe and pulled out a document. He smiled, "No, it's not a joke. I merely have a few matters that require Patriarch Gu's assistance. This is a requisition order from our Holy Unicorn Mercenary Group for a significant amount of arms and military equipment from the Gu Corporation. As the newly appointed First Vice Commander of the Holy Unicorns, I had to make the trip personally."

"The Holy Unicorns are major clients, Mr. Siren; you wouldn't need such methods to pay a visit," Gu Juechen frowned.

With a light flick of his finger, the twenty-page document, seemingly supported by invisible hands, slid steadily to a stop before Gu Juechen. Siren smiled, "This is just a small demonstration of my personal capabilities, to give Patriarch Gu some confidence in my strength. Hmm, please review our requirements first."

Gu Juechen picked up the document silently and began to leaf through it. Siren stood at the doorway, smiling faintly as he took in the layout of the room. After a while, he walked over to the floor-to-ceiling window and gazed out at the sea view through the thick bulletproof glass. After about ten minutes, Siren estimated Gu Juechen had finished reviewing the document, and then he sighed softly, "The view here is excellent, though it’s too convenient for certain people to jump from the top floor and escape into the sea."

Elder Wu's withered, dark face flushed slightly, and he glared furiously at Siren.

Gu Juechen's face was as still as a deep well. He coldly dropped the document onto the table. "Mr. Siren, the requirements of the Holy Unicorns are preposterous. While the transport aircraft and small escort vessels you are ordering barely meet the control limits set by the Federal Military Department, the armor plating, anti-radar coating, fire control systems, power systems, and the ships' engines and all other auxiliary facilities—they are all military-grade items! Moreover, they are strictly controlled A+ class military goods. This is an illegal transaction."

Siren shrugged his shoulders and said calmly, "What else?"

Gu Juechen's ten fingers tapped rapidly on the document. He sneered, "There are also various small armored vehicles, prospecting vehicles, individual combat suits, and personal high-energy weapons. Many of the specifications exceed the civilian category, which is also an illegal trade." He paused, then added, "Of course, I am not saying the Gu Corporation cannot supply these goods to the Holy Unicorns, but you are demanding far too much!"

Gu Juechen slammed the conference table with his palm and shouted, "The quantity you demand is enough to equip two Federal A-Class reinforced divisions! Furthermore, the price you offer is even thirty percent lower than our cost! We cannot undertake this deal!"

With a sweep of his hand, the documents on the table sliced through the air with a sharp sound, heading directly for Siren's neck.
