As for the ending, it has always been the part that tied me up in knots; I always felt that no matter how I wrote it, it wouldn't feel quite right. This grand finale was truly drafted one word at a time.
Regarding this conclusion, I’ve never liked tying everything up too neatly in my writing. I always feel it’s best to leave some room for interpretation, because the story's true ending resides in your hearts—only when you feel the narrative has concluded is it genuinely over. This approach was influenced by a certain manga artist, though I still have a long way to go to reach the mastery he possesses.
All I can say is, I must keep striving!
This book has given me so much; that is beyond doubt! At the same time, it has taught me a great deal, which will be immensely helpful on my future path as a writer. For instance, the mistakes made in this volume, I will strive not to repeat in the next one.
Since I began writing, I have always firmly believed in moving forward one measured step at a time. I’ve worked tirelessly at this, and with this book, I feel I have finally established a reasonably solid footprint. My hope is that with the next work, I can press down another mark, rather than stepping into nothingness where not a single trace remains.
To achieve this, I still require your continued support, but for now, please allow me a period of rest.
Of course, the new book is already in preparation. From concept to outline, I have begun to find my footing. However, as my health hasn't been ideal over the past year, I need time to recover. Therefore, the new book won't launch immediately. Barring any unforeseen events, the new novel should meet you all around March or April.
And the genre for the new book... it will still be Xianxia!
That is roughly the situation. Let’s meet again in a while! RT
