"The garments of our sect are crafted from the finest materials, entirely handmade—truly high-end merchandise!"

Ye Wen simply felt dark lines covering his forehead, offered a couple of perfunctory responses, and then instructed him, "Moreover, you shouldn't obsess over such things. In reality, the martial arts described in those novels have actual prototypes. If we truly delve into it, who's to say who copied whom!"

This wasn't entirely baseless nonsense; at least on Earth, there was a Quanzhen Sect, and they indeed possessed a sword technique called the Quanzhen Swordplay. Similarly, the prototype for the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms was a palm technique from the Quanzhen Sect called the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Revolving Palms—the only difference in the original version being the addition of the character for 'revolving.'

Ye Wen had always claimed that the Shushan Sect inherited the lineage of the Quanzhen Sect, and now, that assertion proved useful.

At least when fooling this disciple who had transmigrated from Earth, he was utterly convincing: "If you trace our lineage, our sect is considered to have inherited the Taoist tradition of the Quanzhen Sect, which is why our martial arts primarily focus on Taoist cultivation methods! Of course, over the years, we've incorporated many unorthodox and miscellaneous techniques, each with its unique marvels. You don't need to know about those right now; you'll have the chance to learn as you progress!"

Yuwentuo listened blankly as Ye Wen droned on; his own limited understanding had long since been swept away by the torrent of words. Waiting for Ye Wen to pause, he finally asked, "Master, what kind of techniques will I be able to learn in our sect in the future?"

Wasn't this how it was always written in novels? A major sect, due to its numerous disciples and various branches, categorized its cultivation methods, strictly defining what martial arts each faction could learn. Thus, Yuwentuo naturally pressed on with his query.

Little did he know that Ye Wen held such a revered position on Shushan that his disciples could learn practically anything he desired. Ye Wen didn't answer immediately, merely stating, "You don't need to worry about that yet. Focus first on mastering the internal cultivation methods I've taught you and the stances and forms I'm about to instruct you in!"

With that, Ye Wen began teaching the Quanzhen Swordplay. However, he quickly realized this disciple was completely clueless about swordsmanship. Unable to do anything else, he had to start teaching from a much more foundational level.

Fortunately, the disciple absorbed the basics quickly. By the end of just one day, he could execute the basic sword forms with reasonable proficiency. Still, to truly cross the threshold into genuine swordsmanship required a significant period of diligent, arduous practice.

Watching Yuwentuo put away the Golden Sword and his array of weapons, Ye Wen's gaze fell upon the pile of red and blue irises. He pondered for a moment, then suddenly pointed into the distance and asked, "Can you see over there?"

Yuwentuo turned, following the direction of Ye Wen’s finger, and squinted, then paused briefly before dutifully answering, "I can see very clearly!"

"What do you see?"

"A rather cute little girl hiding... It looks like she's peeking at us? Is she also a god from Olympus?" Yuwentuo had only noticed after Ye Wen pointed. He scratched his cheek, slightly puzzled as to why someone would hide there to spy. Was she trying to steal martial arts techniques? But the things he practiced today were far too basic; even if she were trying to steal them, she likely wouldn't learn anything useful.

Ye Wen had known someone was there all along but had been too lazy to bother. Now, he used the moment to test Yuwentuo's special pupils, casually replying, "That is Hypnos's son, Hypnos, Thanatos—he’s a cross-dresser! Your master once gave him a sound beating. Don't be surprised if the little brat comes looking for trouble with you later. Remember his face, and watch yourself carefully!"

Yuwentuo shivered all over, then looked again at the adorable-looking Thanatos, feeling a wave of revulsion—he had only heard rumors of such beings before; seeing one in person was an overwhelming shock.

Watching the boy's reaction, Ye Wen felt a touch of pity on his behalf: "This child, what will he do if he ever meets his martial uncle or that boy Lingzhu?"

Turning back, he saw that Thanatos had vanished from the distance. He probably left the moment he realized Ye Wen had noticed him. Ye Wen had no idea what the boy’s purpose was, but he remained wary of him.

Ultimately, the caution stemmed from Thanatos's close association with Aphrodite, and everyone on Mount Olympus knew that Aphrodite favored Ares. Given Ye Wen's stance, he and Ares were absolute adversaries, meaning their relationship was inherently one hundred percent hostile.

Leading Yuwentuo back to his residence, upon entering, they immediately heard Shen Gongbao's voice. When Ye Wen stepped into the main hall, he saw Shen Gongbao circling the Jade Qilin, clicking his tongue in amazement. He seemed utterly surprised that the Jade Qilin had suddenly appeared in his quarters, especially since they were now on Mount Olympus.

Seeing Ye Wen return, Shen Gongbao was the first to speak, inquiring, "Where did you find this Jade Qilin, Headmaster Ye?" While speaking, he gestured towards several wounds on his own body, adding, "These injuries, though quite severe, shouldn't be fatal given the Qilin's divine nature. It's a pity I don't have the right medicinal herbs on hand..."

He then looked at the Jade Qilin with an expression of regret, his hands hovering as if wanting to reach out but hesitating—from his demeanor, it was clear he had already tried and been disciplined by the beast.

It was said that pets often resembled their owners to some degree. Judging by Shen Gongbao’s current appearance, he was cut from the same cloth as the Black Tiger from yesterday. It could be inferred that the Black Tiger’s playful nature likely came from Shen Gongbao, though the latter possessed greater self-control, managing to suppress it normally.

However, Ye Wen focused not on this, but on Shen Gongbao's comment about being able to heal the Jade Qilin: "General Shen has a method?"

Shen Gongbao circled again, observing the creature, then maintained a distance of about one meter, pointing at the broken horn: "This particular spot isn't too worrying. Even if left untreated, it will naturally regenerate in fifty or sixty years. With the aid of elixirs or some rare heavenly treasures, a full recovery in a year or two wouldn't be unusual!"

Taking a few steps forward, he approached the Jade Qilin. This time, the beast didn't regard him with as much disdain, as he was discussing its injuries, making it inappropriate to constantly give him a cold shoulder.

Shen Gongbao pointed at the blinded eye and tutted, "If this were some other divine beast, restoring this eye would require considerable effort. But for creatures like the Qilin, Dragons, or the Black Tortoise, it’s less complicated. With the right medicine, followed by a medicinal bath and careful nurturing, its vision will slowly return to perfect clarity... As for the scar, it will fade in a month or two!"

The Jade Qilin’s eyes currently appeared entirely white. For an ordinary person, eyes in such a state would have no hope of recovery!

But look at the company present here. In everyone’s eyes, these individuals were god-like beings, and the Qilin itself was no ordinary animal; it was a divine beast representing auspiciousness, possessing immense innate power. Therefore, the complete restoration of a blinded eye was not an impossible feat.

As for the scar stretching from its forehead down to its eye, it was hardly worth mentioning; even without medication, the Jade Qilin could heal it on its own given enough time.

If it hadn't endured relentless torment from the Sea Nymph and simultaneously protected Huang Tianhua’s remains, how could the Jade Qilin have become so wretched?

Ye Wen listened to Shen Gongbao’s lengthy explanation, then promptly retrieved his communicator, activated it, and asked Shen Gongbao directly, "What medicinal ingredients are required?"

Shen Gongbao paused, then understood that Ye Wen intended to contact Shushan and find a way to send the necessary items for him to use.

He listed the required items. Ye Wen fiddled with the device for a moment, then stood there, conversing with someone—Shen Gongbao could hear the sounds emanating from the detector, otherwise, he would have wondered who Headmaster Ye was speaking to.

Once Ye Wen switched off the communicator, Shen Gongbao inquired, "What manner of magic artifact is this?"

Ye Wen didn't conceal anything, directly stating, "I built it recently. It was one of the things transported by your Black Tiger. It allows direct communication with Shushan."

Only then did Shen Gongbao realize what Ye Wen had sent his Black Tiger to retrieve from Shushan. Having this device would certainly make things much more convenient—no matter how fast a Communication Talisman was, it couldn't match the convenience of this artifact, which felt like a face-to-face conversation, whereas talismans were still akin to written correspondence.

He didn't know that this device could currently only communicate with the terminal on Shushan. To create a fully functional version capable of arbitrary communication between two detectors, the required array of restrictive talismans would be vastly more complex. Cui Jun was still researching that, and it likely wouldn't be completed anytime soon.

Ye Wen had dictated a long list of instructions, initially intending to wait until Yu Xuan reached Shushan before troubling that senior to send the items over to Mount Olympus.

Unexpectedly, Zhang Ling heard Ye Wen's request and immediately declared, "I'll deliver it to Master myself!"

Ye Wen hadn't anticipated Zhang Ling volunteering to come, but he didn't object, simply saying, "Be careful on the road," before disconnecting.

He hadn't paid much attention to Zhang Ling over the years, never even formally accepting her as a disciple; even now, she only held the title of an unregistered disciple on Shushan.

However, the girl had always been quiet, usually having little presence. Why was she being so proactive now?

What he didn't know was that Ning Ruxue had arranged this. The two of them had initially considered sending someone to accompany Ye Wen. They had abandoned the idea because Ye Wen had worried that the situation on Mount Olympus might be unpredictable, making bringing company inconvenient. But now that they knew Ye Wen was settled safely on Olympus, meaning there was no immediate danger, letting him stay out there alone seemed too bleak.

Besides, Ye Wen had never been good at taking care of himself, so sending a disciple could provide some care.

They wanted to send someone to keep him company, but everyone on Shushan was busy striving for breakthroughs. Zhou Zhiruo and the others were pushing hard for the Earth Immortal realm, and Ning Ruxue and Huayi both required dedicated cultivation time. Those not attempting breakthroughs all had their own tasks.

Calculating through the options, only Zhang Ling was relatively free. Cui Jun was currently overseeing the Treasure Pavilion, and Zheng Ying's presence there was sufficient.

Furthermore, Zhang Ling’s cultivation technique didn't require seclusion to advance, and unlike Chris, she wasn't busy integrating the Absolute Domain with Seven-Colored Dou Qi. Consequently, she was the most leisurely person on all of Shushan at that moment, so Ning Ruxue selected her to accompany Ye Wen on Mount Olympus.

And along the way... to guard against the women on Mount Olympus seducing their man. After all, the romantic entanglements on Mount Olympus were so chaotic they could leave everyone on Shushan utterly dumbfounded. Even Xu Xian, who was usually unconstrained and seemed unbothered by anything, opened her mouth in utter disbelief.

"So... so messy!"

Shaking her head, Huayi and Ning Ruxue offered this assessment. They felt deep worry, even though they knew Western and Eastern aesthetics differed greatly, and perhaps the Olympians wouldn't be interested in their husband. But it was impossible to feel no concern at all. Thus, Zhang Ling, carrying the wishes of the two sect mistresses, took her long saber and departed with the necessary medicines for Ye Wen.

Of course, considering Zhang Ling's speed wasn't particularly fast, flying there directly would waste considerable time. So, Cui Jun lent her the Gourd he usually sat upon.

"How do I store this Gourd when I get there?"

Looking at the Gourd, which stood as tall as two men when erect, Zhang Ling was concerned about its storage, as it was Cui Jun's artifact; she couldn't shrink or expand it at will like the Gourd Immortal could.

Cui Jun replied, "Don't worry. When you arrive at your destination, give this Gourd a hard slap, and it will fly back by itself!"

This Gourd wasn't originally this intelligent. Although there were artifacts in the immortal realm that could return to their masters, this Gourd was not among them. During its time on Shushan, Cui Jun had refined it again, adding several new functions: "And you don't need to think too much about the journey there; just sit on it, and it will fly straight toward Mount Olympus automatically!"

"Auto-navigation and auto-return?"

"More or less. Are you ready? Once you are, just hop on..." Seeing Zhang Ling jump onto the Gourd and straddle it, he added, "Oh, right, once this Gourd sets off, it won't stop. You’ll probably be sitting on it the entire time, so take this along to relieve the boredom!"

"What is this..." Zhang Ling received the object from Cui Jun's hand and immediately felt awkward. Cui Jun had handed her a...

"Relax, I've modified this thing. Don't worry about it running out of power halfway through; you could play it for a month straight without turning it off!" Cui Jun and Zheng Ying had worked hard to devise a design to solve the detector’s energy issues, and the old man had quickly applied it to the gaming console. Zhang Ling, not knowing when Cui Jun had cooked this up, was both amused and exasperated, then nodded to Cui Jun to signal she understood.

Unexpectedly, Zheng Ying spoke up again, "Wear this!" He tossed her a detector identical to the one Ye Wen carried, only with differently colored lenses.

"This allows you to communicate with Master's detector. When you get near Mount Olympus, use this to notify Master; otherwise, if you wander around randomly, you might be mistaken for an enemy!"

At this statement, everyone realized the oversight. Cui Jun turned and praised, "Thanks for being so thorough, old Daoist here hadn't thought of that!"

Zhang Ling’s expression didn't improve. She realized that these people simply did whatever they wished, sending her off on a whim without considering the details. Sending her off like this, who knew what accidents might occur?

Unfortunately, she was given no chance to reconsider. The moment she took the detector, Cui Jun casually enacted a hand seal: "Let's go!" The Gourd shot skyward with a whoosh, disappearing without a trace.

"Alright, let's head back then!"

The crowd that had gathered to see the spectacle felt a powerful gust of wind that forced their eyes to narrow. When they reopened them, the silhouette of the Gourd was completely gone, showcasing the incredible speed of the artifact.

"That has to be faster than a supersonic jet, right?"

As they walked back, several people muttered amongst themselves, none noticing the large, bewildered white bear, Hero, spinning in place a few times, seemingly looking for something.

Meanwhile, Zhang Ling, seated on the Gourd, felt powerful gales blast her face. Fortunately, she cultivated the Absolute Domain, her physical body tempered to be incomparably tough, so apart from a slight shortness of breath, she suffered no other issues. Once she exerted a little power, creating a shield-like field around herself to deflect the harsh wind, even that feeling of stuffiness vanished.

Looking at the clouds around her, having flown before, Zhang Ling felt no novelty. She realized how farsighted the elder Cui Jun was, gifting her a gaming console to pass the time.

But before she could even turn the console on, she heard a faint "Meow, meow" from behind her, and even felt something nudging her lower back.

The sound was soft, but in the near silence of the high altitude, it was nearly impossible for Zhang Ling not to notice. She instinctively placed her hand on her saber hilt and spun around sharply, immediately confronting a scene that left her utterly speechless—Garfield the kitten was also straddling the Gourd with legs splayed, chewing contentedly. When he saw her turn, he extended a piece of grilled fish held between his paws toward her: "Meow?"

Completely bewildered as to when the little creature had sneaked aboard, Zhang Ling was speechless. But having company was always better. She casually picked him up and placed him in her lap, patting Garfield’s already bulging belly, then took out the gaming console, listlessly preparing to pass the tedious time.

One second later... high above the clouds, a roar erupted, filled with intense anger, sorrow, and profound frustration:

"There isn't a single game installed?"
